yes it's about that time actually a time we weren't expecting to happen so early I mean Samsung has been doing it unpa events keep happening ever so slightly earlier heck even OnePlus is now launching its Flagship a full year early I guess what we weren't expecting was for Google to follow suit we've covered a multitude of rumors and yeah eventually the company decided to simply pull a Google and uh just announce everything sort of themselves some things are great others are much needed others I'll admit at first I don't know I'm kind of mixed in my first impressions I'm he Mar with pocket now and let's do a deep dive into Hands-On of Google's new hardware for
2024 wow what is it with companies lately Sam Galaxy unpack was so packed I'm not even close to being done with those reviews and then right after we had OnePlus with another heavy batch of Hardware we seriously expected Google to announce a couple of products now and then a few others in the typical made by Google launch in October but nope you're going to get it all today and uh you're going to like it and listen I actually mean that if you saw my reason after the buzz on the pixel 8 Pro let's just say I wasn't too impressed with that implementation but then these new products are on A League of Their Own let me start with a couple of disclaimers our content capture happened nearly 6 days ago and we were briefed
about a week prior and yet we still didn't have all the information we'd like so bear with me if the event sheds more than what this video tells you for example storage is something Google didn't mention anywhere and at the time of this video we still do not have an official spec sheet and I seriously can't keep waiting as I need to get on a plane let me start with the wearable since they're kind of the easiest set of updates the pixel watch 3 might finally be the watch I've wanted Google to make mainly because we finally have a larger option I didn't even bother looking at the smaller one this new 45mm variant has 16% less bezels and 40% more screen real estate heck even next to the Galaxy
watch Ultra the display alone seems nearly the same size if you remove the squar design of Samsung it's twice as bright and can go as low as one knit of brightness with Dynamic refresh rate from 1 to 60 HZ the battery is 35% larger but well it seems battery life is just a full day like the other one at least we know it'll charge twice as fast now I did like the new running features where the watch captures training load and can help you see your Fitness progression really looking forward to more watches following the Garment approach even if the Readiness score doesn't progress like body battery over the day the watch even helps you stay on a heart rate zone if you ask it to while
running but you can then make these cues less annoying to what Samsung does these are only visual if you want or you can get the vibrations if you choose to price starts at $349 for the 41mm variant 3.99 for the 45 mmm now the pixel buds Pro 2 were interesting because they are far less bulky than before now 27% smaller and 24% lighter they even bring this uh wing tip approach for a better fit and they actually Google's first earbuds with an A1 chip and seriously there weren't any other letters than what Apple has this means upgraded Acoustics architecture two times better noise cancelling clearer calls and uh these are the first earbuds that launched with Gemini built-in Google even teas clearer calls
on both ends which I'm looking forward to battery life is 8 hours with a ANC which is insane and 30 hours with the case that uh now makes a sound through it's fine my service they come in four color options and start at $229 now as for the smartphones Google is sort of going back to its roots in a way that I really like we have the base pixel 9 for anyone looking to save some money on a sort of Flagship killer and then we have the pixel 9 pro and pixel9 pro XEL yes variety is the name of the game and we do like it and I can remember the last time we had an Excel phone can we start by praising this new design language like seriously what Google is doing here is gorgeous and so minimalistic the easiest way to tell the regular from the pro apart is
that aside from less cameras the Basse model brings matte aluminum rails with a glossy back and you get more colors on this one we have obsidian porcelain winter green and peani uh God that name but that's the one I spend most of my time with because it actually looks pretty cool now for an interesting highlight is that all these new pixel smartphones sport tensor G4 which is claimed to be 20% faster at web browser 177% faster at app launching and more battery efficient we'll see about gaming you also get the 7 years of software updates Google promised last year and yeah one of those should probably be Android 15 as I believe it won't be ready for this launch this base model
now finally has a decent 12 gigs of RAM making it adequate for on device Ai and Google claims 20% longer battery life it brings a new OCTA display that's 35% brighter Gorilla Glass Fus 2 and sure the bezel is now uniform but yeah a bit on the thick side as for the cameras as rumored we have a 10.5 megapixel selfie 50 megapixel primary with 2x Optical crop and 48 map ultrawide now ask for the Pro Models Google claims these phones are twice as durable as the 8 series they come in two sizes as we discussed in rumors Now with an all flat finish with shiny aluminum rails and frosted Gorilla Glass victus 2 they come in four color options obsidian porcelain rose quartz and Hazel which is my
favorite now that they got rid of the gold bezel a major Improvement is 16 gigs of RAM though yeah storage details are pending the super ACTA display is 15% smaller bezels which you can totally tell they call it the best rate display by some company but we'll look into those details when they're official it's hard to deny just how much I like these new Pro phones with even the larger one feeling very welld designed and much lighter now as for cameras 42 megapixels on the selfie with 30% better light sensitivity and a wider 103° of field of view on the back we have a 50 megapix primary with 2x Optical crop 48 mapix 4 5x telephoto that's lossless up to 10x and the 48 megapixel Ultra wide with
macro focus and multis Zone autofocus Google then gave us a few demos of their new software features from the new pixel Studio which seriously seems powerful enough to replace Photoshop like finally I've been dreaming about something like this and then the coolest new screenshots app that helps you find them easily and which every phone should seriously do because you can tag so many things about them other improvements like video booster 8K through software improvements to the magic editor where you can even add a person after the fact and by the way the pros include a free year of Gemini Advanced since their starting price is $9.99 and $10.99 that alone drops your price tag nearly $250
in value sadly the base pixel 9 starts at $7.99 and lacks that perk now I think the these perk differences are the reason why Google called its new foldable the pixel 9 Pro fold I swear it'll grow on me Google calls this the thinnest foldable but uh then they clarify in very small letters that it's in the United States and we know that they also call it the largest display when open but maybe the smartest trick is how they made the outer display just as large in every Dimension to the pixel 9 not really a fan of the curved approach but the size is fantastic and by the way Google claims that this phone also has the same durability as the pixel 9 Pro and I kind of tested it I dropped the white variant from the table
to concrete and I could not find any dents and trust me I looked there were not any Google also calls it barely thicker than the pixel9 pro but uh while it is surely thin it's not really that thin it's definitely much wider than the Galaxy cold 6 and while it does look slightly similar to the OnePlus open I can tell you it's thinner but also so heavier I'll confirm by the time I get more details on the spec sheet it comes in two colors with the porcelain variant being my favorite as the dark one really struggles with looking good in front of the camera now speaking of those yes the island is now completely different with this Square array which yeah sticks out a lot it brings a 48 megapixel primary a
10.5 megapixel Ultra wide with macro focus a 10.8 megap telephoto with 5x Optical but we do need more details on the selfie and the internal cuz yeah they didn't provide us with those details I do know that there is multis Zone autofocus here too at least on the primaries now Google then brought some neat tricks to help you use the outer display to get kids to small for a photo we got to see YouTube TV multiv view on the inner display and the company claims it partner with so many companies to make it good for gaming which we cannot wait to test and listen it better be great because at $17.99 OnePlus is already making it look expensive with that OnePlus open to conclude what can I say Google is out
for an aggressive launch and so far I'll admit I'm pretty excited the idea of a larger pixel watch those new designs on the pro pixel 9 units and that foldable are all pretty hot my time with them was merely 2 hours so I'm not even scratching the surface of all they can do stay tuned for a full review coming really soon let us know what you think about everything we got to see and I mean everything in the comments down below and why addit follow us on social media and subscribe to our channel for more videos like this one you can also follow me on my personal handles to see me God finally like these pixels they look great please give this video a thumbs up if you like what you saw I'm
