Don't you see it for your That was a napkin, right? Okay. More. Yeah. And then put in both hands. Mhm.

Oh, now it's not sticky. That's right. So, while I'm doing that, I'm going to get my own batch, too. I don't like using my hands, so put just rice like this. That's smart. And a omelette. What kind of combination should I do? I'll do American style. So, omelette, spam and cucumber. I call this a breakfast roll. All right. Cuz you have egg and spam. Oh, and ground beef. Oh, what was I thinking? Come on. Uh, that's enough. Wa. And let's see if it tastes good. Wait, daddy's already done. M. Good. Want to try? You like it? Some.

Spit morning burrito. Wa. Daddy says this looks like a burrito. Rice for sushi. How is it? Good. A little bit. This is so good. See how colorful it is? Ryan likes it. Okay. And roll with it. Like a burrito. So big. And Emma can eat it. Yeah. Not in one bite. He's trying. What do you think, Kate? You like it? Yeah. Thank you, Daddy. It's good. Emma's just enjoying the giant seaweed paper.

Emma's not trying it. turn. You like it? All right. So, it's my turn. I need to wet my hands. Put rice in this. Is that rice? Mhm. That's right. Spread it out. Yeah. Okay. Good job, Mommy. A lot of rice. Is that too much rice? Well, I actually really love natto's my favorite. So, natto in my seaweed. Okay. I'm just going to take the whole bowl here. Okay. Why not? There we go. Woohoo. Look at this. Looks yummy. Some people mix natto with egg omelette for combination. Okay.

I'm using omelette. That's a good idea. And cucumber. And cuc. That's a good idea. I need some veggies in my life. Okay. I don't know what Emma's doing. Oh my gosh. That's so wild. Happy. All right. Mommy's working on the rolling it up. Okay. How do I do this? You like this? Uh-huh. Okay. How do I do this? I'm a little bit confused on how to roll. Yeah. You want to do like an entire circle like that?

Oh my gosh. I'm sorry. People in Japan. Maybe. I didn't even need to use this. You got the two layers of the Yeah. Seaweed. Sorry, it's my first time. You made it extra big, not two layers. Sorry. But it still tastes good. This is what you should have done. This is what daddy made. Daddy did a good job. Ryan enjoying it. Yeah, it's really good. Salmon and spam. Who would thought salmon and spam would go well?

Taste test time. It's still good even though I didn't do it right. So, yay. All right, guys. We're going to enjoy eating our food now. Thank you so much for watching our fun sushi homemade video. Bye. Thank you for watching. Bye. And a big thumbs up. Bye. We're here at Sushi Katu Laboratory in Japan and we're going to learn how to make REAL SUSHI. YAY. [screaming] AND we're here with Mino John from Kotamino Channel. Hi, darling. He's going to help us make sushi. YAY.

[screaming] Hi family. Okay. Hello everyone. I'm Leo. I'm a sushi teacher today. This is awesome. Sushi chef Leo gave us all uniforms to look like real sushi chefs. Well, kind of looks like a real sush chef now already. It's like karate. Do you still remember? Emma used to learn karate. Oh, wow. Looking sharp. Does it look like I make sushi? Yeah. Even though Ryan only eat salmon and tuna. All right, let's go. The wait was finally over. After we got into our sushi chef's uniform, it was finally time to make sushi. And even I think he has a surprise for us.

First, we're going to go fishing. Fishing? How are we going to go fishing in here? Okay, first we wear ninja mask. a ninja mask. What does any of this have to do with fishing? I'm sure we'll find out soon. You can't see anything. Oh, it's a VR. That's why I was wondering. Where do you fish here? There's no ocean. Wo! You already see something, Ryan. Yeah, VR fishing is so cool. Even though we don't get to actually fish, we still get to get the whole experience. [screaming] I got another one. VR fishing was amazing, but it's time to move on to the next part.

Did you guys catch for everybody? I think so. This is what you got. What is Chef Leo doing with that big fish? He's about to show us how to prepare the fish to make sushi. First, I cut the head. See head has a lot of meat in the inside. So, we put in miso soup or we just grill. That's really yummy. It's a good thing to know that none of the fish goes to waste. Chef Leo continued filleting the fish to perfection, showing us every single step.

He's even careful to take out all of the bones. You guys really never tried the white meat fish before, huh? Oh, no. Yeah, maybe you should try it today. It looks good. Well, I'm going to try it. Wow. He filleted that fish perfectly. Now, it's time to go to the next step in our sushi making adventure. We're going to make it official with the hat. I'm a sushi chef. You are. I got to cut it. Oh, and he has a knife, so extremely sharp. We're preparing to cut the fish ourselves.

Oh, the fish is super cold. Yeah, you got to keep it cold, right, to other Yeah. Oh, wait. Oh, Emma has a belly slide. Just like a human cuz my belly I feel. It's okay to play with your food right before. No. Does it smell? Do you smell anything? I don't smell anything. I don't smell fish. I smell it. Only a little bit. Okay, it's almost time to fillet our fish. First, Chef Leo gives us careful instructions. Remember, don't do this at home. There's even a special way to hold the handle as we fillet the fish at a 45° angle.

I got it. Brian got it. Chris for sushi. I got it. Nice. He's going to make sushi at home now. Okay, I think it's cut. There you go. Nice. Show me. Show me your piece. Nice, nice, nice. It's a little bit like jumbled everywhere. Try and guess. That's the shape you're supposed to cut. Wow, look how fast he cuts it. Oh, it's all the same, too. I know. Okay, we're all done. Obviously, we could use some practice compared to Chef Leo. Okay. So, you guys going to pick one piece and then you're going to make a sushi with it. Emma, which one

you going to pick? Oh, this is a good one. Let me see. Okay. I myself. The best one is this. Okay. This one. The thick one. Okay. You can try. This is perfect. Wow. Good job, M. Wow. This is really cute. That's cute one. That's for the baby. The cutest one. Yes. Yay. Uh-oh, here comes a spice. Chef Leo is teaching us about wasabi. Okay, this is real like fresh wasabi. No, never. Okay. But then the wasabi you guys taste different, right? At the sissi restaurant.

What does it look like it? It's like um it's green play-doh. Yeah. Like this one. This one is that what you guys eat like every day like usually. This is a special grater made for wasabi. You'll never guess what it's made of. Can you guess what's this made from? That's it. You got it. Did you get it? What's stones? No. Diamond. That's too hard. Wait one second. Ceramic. Um, animal. Oh, animal.

Oh my god. Shark. Hey, I got to answer it first. That's so cool. The grater is made out of shark skin. This is how to make just make s we need some pressure. Watch the wasabi start to come out. That's so cool. I had no idea that's how you make wasabi. Now it's our turn to grate the wasabi. It's harder than it looks. You got to put your work into it. Yeah. You got to grind it like a minion. Oh, it smells. Grind it hard, Emma. Just imagine daddy just eat your cookie. You find out and you want to just grind his face.

I don't steal your cookie. Hear the sound. Oh, it's not coming out. Oh, wow. Yeah. I like I'm this much. Take a look at that. Oh, wow. You put it in the I think I can. Oh, no. That's green creamy. Look. Yeah. Okay. I want to smell it. Yeah. Most radish. Yeah. I just could eat a tiny bit. Yeah. Just try. Don't cry. You can do a little more. Right. All of you can do a little more.

It's really strong. Oh, sorry. You got to try it again. I can't taste it. Are you recording me now? Yeah. I don't want to risk it. Well, that's a lot. You throw all that. Oh, I really want to take the meal front. Okay. I really want to take the meal. Okay. Right there. Y'all see it? Okay, I think it's gone now. Chef Leo hands out fish as we prepare for the next step. He's going to show us how to prepare nigi sushi step by step.

It already looks delicious. First, we have to put on gloves. Safety first. I just burped. And I can taste the wasabi. The first step is to mold some rice into an oval shape. It can't be too big or too small. It has to be just right. I never see sush on this. This Oh my god, that's so big. Chef's rice boy is a little smaller than slightly smaller. Okay. Pretty good. Okay. Now it's time to add the fish. We're starting with tuna. Tuna is left. Yes. You cannot do that. Next, we're adding wasabi. I'm not ready for this.

This how much I'm taking. Nothing. I don't even see it. You got to eat it. Ryan doesn't like wasabi. That's okay. Now you put uh rice like this. Yeah. And you cover the sushi and put it. You did it. And then you put it back on the back. Okay. That's good, Ryan. All right. I'll eat this. Nice. Good job, Emma. I think my almost This is really important. Okay. Use three fingers. Not two, not one, just three.

Okay. And then you pet your sushi like bob to the bottom like adjust the size. It's not gonna bite you guys like this. There you go. Pet your sushi. Oh, look at Emma's looking good. Nice. Nice work. Okay, now embrace your meat. Embrace. Oh, hey, look at that shape. Looking good. Kids do it. Did they run away from you or something? You made it like this. No, don't do that. Don't It's like now it's a sandwich. Okay. And put it on here. And there it is. My first piece of [__] sushi is done. That was so much fun.

Oh, salmon. Oh, Ryan's favorite is salmon. Now we're making the rest of the [__] sushi one by one. Do you remember the next step, Ryan? All right, that's good. All right, you got to embrace it, Ryan. Oh, looks like a professional sush. Really? Yeah. Good job. I never had so much fun making food before. Chef Leo turned us into sushi masters. Now that we're done with the nigi sushi, we get to make a different type of sushi called ikura sushi. Minim's making ikura sushi. As long as it stays on top. As long as he doesn't drop. Oh, perfect. You did it. Nice double scoop. Good job, you know. Nice. Oh, it's dropping. There's no space for it. If that's all I get, I'm going to complain. Okay. Need more fish. Okay.
