Wolfe's World Tour! | Transcript:

What's going on? We're still at Wolf's World and if I make the drive all the way to Okachchobee to see my buddies, I'm going to get a couple videos with them. We're in the reptile room and it's changed a lot since we've all been here last. This was a black dungeon before. Remember? I feel so It's more light and airy and just an overall better vibe. How cool is that? What are you pulling out there? Oh, we are going to pull out a really cool snake here. Okay, so this Oh, that's gorgeous. Is a Texas indigo. Oh, I love indigos. They're one of

my favorite snakes. They have such a cool face. They uh the shield the this the eyebrow shield, you know, doesn't it give them a menacing look? It really does. They've got the cool eye stripes. These guys are just absolutely beautiful. We went to St. Augustine Alligator Farm and did a video with the eastern indigos that they've been working with there. And that's I'll tell you what, as far as a snake species I'd love to keep, an indigo would definitely be the one. I love that they're active. I love they get large. Uh one of the largest nonvenenomous snakes in the United

States. Am I correct? Absolutely. Yeah. Now, he is called Big Tex. Big Tex is really pretty. Jesus, that is gorgeous, man. And we're looking for a female for Tex. If you guys know of a one. Oh my god, that's so cool. And being that they're a Texas indigo, what are the legalities of owning these? So, we can have the Texas indigos. We cannot have the eastern indigos, which is the native one to hear. Gotcha. I don't even think you can touch an eastern touch. It's a federally protected animal similar to a gopher tortoise or uh even the uh American alligator. So,

you're not allowed to lay hands on them. Um I work with Bush Wildlife. We have a special authorizations permit. If an animal is in uh some kind of um distress, you're able to, you know, intervene. Um I've done that with sea turtles. I've done that, you know, but only if the animals in distress and it has to be uh in an official capacity with a nonprofit wildlife rescue. Uh very cool snake. I'm I'm really excited you showed me that because it kind of gets me stoked on snakes. You know, this is a snake that I', like I said, I'd love

to keep and I'd love to be able to keep an outdoor enclosure. What do you think about that? You know, doing an outdoor enclosure. We're going to try it with these guys at some point. So, this is not going to be the first dry maron we're going to look at today. We actually have a few more. So, dry maron are like Texas indigo, eastern indigo, and then blacktail creos and other creos. Oh, I love KBO again that you know do you know this might be a little too inside baseball but Dryacon the genus name. Do you know what the name means? Why do they call it Dramacon? Yeah,

cuz there's always a reason um that scientists use like Latin or Greek uh as a way of naming these animals. And I'm just curious what it is. Maybe one of you guys know. Uh let me know in the comments below. Is there an actual meaning to the name Drama? But as for keeping it outside, there is no way. There's some folks down here from the Orient Society that keep Drarcon outside. I've been there. You have? I've been to the center. We have a video on the channel. Go check it out. How cool is that? And they keep them outside in these beautiful enclosures because hey,

look, you know, these guys are native. If you want an animal to breed, put it outside in its native habitat with the proper Is this a KBO? What is that? Yeah, blacktail KBO. Dude, I might be getting into some of these. These are the snakes, man. We got a touch of these in the incubator. No, you do. Yeah. No way. Oh, baby. We got to work a trade out or something. I would be stoked to raise one of these up. Just the power. Can you Would you do me a favor, Jerry? Look, it's Jerry. do this. I can hold the camera. Oh my god, guys. This is awesome,

man. This is a beautiful animal. And here's the thing. When you're holding this snake, it's, you know, when you hold like a big constrictor, you can feel strength. This is different. This is strength, but it's it to me, it's more athletic. Do you know what I'm saying? It's like a lean runner. It's kind of like how I feel, you know, when I'm riding my bike. It's built for speed. It's built for predatory strong and they're smart, man. They're constantly taking information and looking at stuff and just taking things in. This guy is a cool. What's his name? I haven't

named him. Oh my gosh. No name. I'm thinking about Beauty and Beast, so maybe it's Beast. I'm in love right now. And it takes a lot. I love snakes, but I more enjoy seeing snakes in the wild. Um, you guys know I have Bella. We used to have Buttercup, but this is just such an active, beautiful animal, and it's so impressive. I will I'm always kind of drawn to the animals that are a little bit bigger, you know? Oh, yeah. I just like that with this is really filling a gap in my heart from losing the reticulated pythons because I kept so many of those before and they were such

big, powerful, strong animals. Then the only thing I could really come down here with was the ball pythons and that just wasn't the same. It wasn't the same. So, this guy has really just made my heart full. Holy. And you guys have you have eggs in the incubator. Yes. Eggs in the increment. Can we work something? I'm sorry. I don't I'm not the kind of guy that's always I normally, you know, how I do it, guys. animals come to me uh from different zoological institutions and things like that. But every once in a while, can you imagine if we raised up a snake like this and

built just a beautiful enclosure for it and I have the great relationship with vision. We could do an outdoor enclosure and then in the winter I can easily move them in and then keep them indoors because this is a tropical species, correct? Or is it not? Where are these guys from? So, uh, United States, parts of the US. I didn't know that cuz I know there's some KBO from, uh, Costa Rica and down into South America also, right? I think they're sprinkled. Yeah. Okay, cool. So, where in the United States are they from? Oh, look at this. Look at location habitat

native to the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. There you go. Look at me knowing something. How do you like that? That's a lovely belt you have there. That's the only snake belt I would uh I endorse. Exact. Exactly. I endorse that belt. So, we're going to let scoot back in. Holy smokes. So, Kagan, are you loving living down here or what? Oh, I absolutely am. Yeah, that's so cool% being able to keep reptiles outside is just like the best thing ever. So, it's a little too warm for these guys right now. And that's actually

a great part of the discussion of keeping them outside. They have to have somewhere to retreat to get cool because they cannot get above like 85°. I mean really 80 really which is why the room is 80. He's got a voice room is a bit cooler than other people's reptile. So let me ask you so southwestern United States it's very hot in the southwest. Do they have burrows? Burrows. So that is one thing that the Orian Society does is they actually bury coolers in the ground and give them tunnel access into it so they have cool spots to retreat to. So check this out. Um,

you know, I love turtles and tortoises. Gopher tortoises are native species in the southeastern United States. There are even gopherus aazi in southeastern that the desert tortoise in the southwest. Do these animals have they been found? We know indigo snakes have been found in gopher tortoise burrows. What I wonder if these animals will use burrows that have been excavated from desert tortoises. I'm sure. Huh. Yeah, absolutely. Really cool. So they so even though you know again Dryacon similar habits across their range uh very interesting. Um will they eat other snakes?

They're they're snake eaters right they'll eat just about anything. Cool. So yeah so we were actually told that somebody documented a what was it? An eastern indigo. an eastern indigo eating a dead bull shark actually tearing pieces off of if you want to call it as it was it was on the beach so it was probably softened by the sun and decomposing a little bit the snake was literally biting on there's photographs and everything twisting off barrel rolling and then tearing off a chunk and eating it which is not something that is normally observed in snakes

you know they usually eat whole that's really cool well you know we Recently, we had a video where we were talking about there's no absolutes y with animals. And here's another indication. When nature when you're in nature surviving in nature, you have to adapt and adapt quick. If there is calories to be had, you better have them. Whole prey is not the only way. That's it. Whole prey is not the only way. I love this room. What are you going to pull out now? You're the lizard and snake lady, man. I love it. Let's see. Jerry, I you know. Hold on one second there, Kagan. I'm going to bust my buddies balls. You are I know you do,

but right now it's the Kagan show, dude. We got to get you outside. I know. I'm teasing. This is really cool, man. Like I said, good for you, buddy. I'm I just keep the tool belt on these days. I build everything. She tells me what to do. Look at that. Woo. Hey, now. Hey, man. You almost I felt the wind on my knuckle. This is an unhappy snake. What are we looking at here? This is a Chinese king rat snake. So, this is another colubrid. Now, she's getting a lot better than she was. She's being very feisty lady. But these guys actually start brown as babies. So,

they're all light brown. There's no pattern. And then as they age, they gather more of the black and the yellow on them. So, they increase in color and pattern as they age. And they're Now, this snake seems familiar to me. I may have seen this snake with my friend at uh John from uh Palm Beach Colub Jonathan Lemon. There you go. Shout out to Palm Beach Colubrids seeing his hard work paying off at Wolf's World here. He is a beautiful facility. We have a video on that as well. You want to check it out, you may have to do that. Look at that shot. Now, this is probably

the most intelligent species of snake that I've worked with. She is so ridiculously observant and keen on everything going on. I like even with the colubrids, these guys are just insanely smart that you could see them cocking their head to watch me if I'm working in here moving tools around. They're looking at you side and then I could see it actually focus on what's in my hand. Look over at this, look back at me. Like it's observing everything going on. Yeah, that's amazing. Uh Ken has said during feedings how it will take the prey item, set it in the corner, come back,

watch what she's doing, and then go back and eat the prey item. Yeah. So, not only does it take it, store it in the back, but then it knows to come back and look around the corner to know if danger is still there because as a snake, when your mouth is full, you're defenseless. That makes a lot of sense. So, it's paying attention before I But that is a self-awareness of a snake that I didn't know was possible. Yeah. Very, very cool. The only other thing I can, you know, in my experience with snakes, which is admittedly not what you guys have, uh, is working with Tom

Crutchfield when we did the king cobras. King cobras are another snake where you actually see the eyeball moving inside its head, its skull, and it's looking at you. Um, so again, uh, very observant and, uh, interesting critter. Hey, who are you? This is Mars Bars. I like it because of that. really cool oceliz. Yeah. So, this is a guru het t positive albino. This is one of our holdback animals from the Georgia and chuck clutch. Just how wild gorgeous is that animal? Yeah. Just I mean these right here. Yeah. Just beautiful patterns and that's what most

people who love the water monitors are looking for. They're looking for that glorious pattern and the guru. What is what indicates a guru? So from what I understand, it's those really bold oceli that stand out and the reduced pattern between. So let's So this is actually a very abnormal example of a guru. That's kind of why we like it is because it's they're typically the very circular oceli. But let's look at let's see that's the other one. Where is I'm going to have to do a little digging here. You even know where they dig to. We're going to dunk you in the water, monkey.

Let's get you cleaned off and then we're going to take a look at this pattern. Look at that. Yeah. Oh my gosh, it is gorgeous. So, that's a really great example of a guru right there. Wow. Beautiful. Beautiful lizard. That's Taz. What's that? Taz. All right. So cool, man. You guys are killing it. Holy smokes. That is beautiful. Yeah. The reptile room. Massive upgrade, huh? Elevation station, right? On the monitor side, I'm going to continue building these white PVCs. I'll do a corner enclosure. And then I'm going to have to do glass or acrylic front to be able to feed

crickets when we start off the babies. So, I'm going to have to do something similar to that, but with a glass or acrylic front. Awesome. Maybe sliders. I don't know. Still have to figure that out. But more building. I know it, man. Get your tool belt on. He also has calendars with him and his tool belt and nothing else. So if you want to support Wolf's World, buy one of their calendars. I'm just kidding. Anyhow, look at he's getting ready. He's blushing. He's my handsome friend Jerry. Come on. Looks like George Clooney for God's sake. All right, we're uh we're going to get on outside and see what they've been up to.

You got to see the I don't even want to call it a man cave cuz it's shared space, but you got to see the party area that they've established. And if you're one of their lucky Patreon friends, don't you do parties from time to time? The whole party. Yeah. Let's go check that out right now. Okay. This certainly uh didn't look like this the last time I was here. Look at this place. Is that beautiful or what? This was a dirty, dusty pole barn uh where I think they worked on their heavy equipment. Wow. And uh we excavated, built a deck. It's awesome. So, like you were saying,

this is where we hold our Patreon party every year. We do a tour of the cages. We fix everybody lunch. We, you know, have drinks for everybody. And the Patreon party actually went till almost 2:00 in the morning. There were still people here hanging out talking reptiles. when the sun goes down and these lights come on, it really creates an ambiance, right, that is hard to get away from. And people were just like, "This is awesome." And it was great because it's just a place for uh reptile people to get together, become friendly, talk shop,

you know, trade secrets, things like that. And it was really like you have ice cream socials, but you guys had uh monitor lizard social, reptile socials. It's pretty cool. I mean, and we're we're thinking about doing a gathering for uh monitor breeders down here in the southeast as a as an annual gathering as well. Oh, that's really cool. I think that's awesome, man. Yeah. So, the grill area, food prep area, the whole place is just gorgeous. It's under construction. Yeah, of course. No, I get it. You can picture it. But you've done such a good job, man. You've got,

you know, a night over there. That's cool. I mean, ain't that fun? You guys want to see some more reptiles? We're about to We're gonna go into the lizard complex. What do you guys call that? Do you have a name for it? No. Wolf's World. All right. The whole place. We're stepping into another continent on Wolf's World here. Let's see. Oh my gosh. Look at the Aldabbras. This is great. Right off the rip. This is Sebastian. Hey, Sebastian. Oh, I love Alabra tortoises. Oh my god. Oh, that's a nice tortoise. loves a scratchy activate hydraulics. Yes, that's so cool. And we've got big

old Kalúa over here. Kua is going on 5 years old. This is insane, guys. 5-year-old Aldabra. Now, Jerry, your mom used to have this animal. Yep. With you, right? We got this from uh our friend Sam. Look at this. It was 6 in long. Not anymore. Holy smokes. That is I love when they get all ticklish there. Oh. Oh, you're driving crazy. There we go. We got to get a good beat to this. Oh, we got another child. And then there's Lewig. Lewig, Kalúa, and Sebastian, the three amigos here in Wol's World. That's great. Um, this is their temporary area. We're about to build their

permanent area. In fact, I'd like to discuss with you before you leave that area. Okay. No problem. But uh this will be uh similar to Slinky's cage if anything could be similar. But this will have running water, a waterfalling. Um this will be a what do you want to call it? An animal action play area. Very cool. So we could buy food items. Yeah, that's really cool. You know, and he's being very modest. The only reason Slinky's cage looks like Slinky's cage is cuz he built it. No, you're not. We Ken, hold this. Kenan, go get this screw. Canon. Yeah, he built it. I was like a glorified

helper. That's awesome, man. So many people were mad at me I didn't come up here and help you build this place, but I'd be more of a hindrance. I'd be screwing things up. Oh my god. I had to respond to all those comments that I know you're funny. I live an hour away. Hundreds of animals. You're busy. Yeah, this is un unbelievable work. Every time we come here, things just get more and more dialed. And I have to think there's an influence from you, Kagan. I mean, we've I'm just feel like these might be Do you do this stuff? Who was that? You This is me. Get out of here. The Kagan

influence is the next evolution of this, which is coming very soon. Okay. It is better than this. Okay. No, I was have See, I'm such a dude. Oh, wow. Look, you got its name on the thing. Wow. That's cool. My 5-year-old wrote it. That's okay. That's awesome, dude. All right, let's see some black dragons here. Wow. Now, you say this one is Where are we going first? Where are we going? We can just look at her right here real quick. This is Oakley. Oakley is one of our young black dragon females that we're raising up and she's progressing quite. Yeah, she looks good. You know,

in fact, Inky is actually around the same size as this beauty. So, I was really psyched. Um I love Inky. Uh I do down the road would love to have a large male uh black dragon. Um do you find that the black dragons can overheat easier because of their skin color or are they that would make 100% sense but I have not seen that. Okay, cool. You know what's funny? We'll notice the black throats and white throats panting sometimes when it's a little hot. Never noticing monitors. And you say this guy's friendly. Hey buddy, what's his name? Sammy. Oh, that's so cool. How old is

Sammy? Do we know? Probably about four years old. Oh, she's still got a lot to do. Yeah. Oh, that's so awesome. I love the Again, I don't know how many times I've said this on my channel, friends, but monitors to me are just fantastic because of this reason, because they're interactive, because they're intelligent, because they're inquisitive. Um, if you I mean I love my cycllora iguanas but monitors are the pinnacle of lizards in my opinion as far as intelligence. So there it is. Look at that. Checking in on the aldabbras. Yeah. What are you guys been up to? Have you laid any eggs for me

to eat? You know that's kind of cool. Yeah, that's a cool lizard man for sure. Sammy, don't just sit in the corner. And he'll get bigger than this. Oh, absolutely. He's shedding. He's just a young fella. Oh, how old do you think he is? I mean, he's got to be fourish. Okay, gotcha. So, he's he's got a lot of growing to do. As long as they're shedding, they're growing. Yeah, that's really amazing. That's a cool animal. And the fact that he's just, you know, you can interact with them. You can move them around when you need to. Uh, I think that's great. Oh,

hello. Look at how you know, it's just so funny. People get so worried around these animals. You know, they do possess sharp claws and teeth, so it's it's fair if you've never been around animals like this. But you can really just see his behavior right now. It's very inquisitive. The tongue's flicking in and out, in and out. He's not stressed out. He's totally calm. He's aware of our feet. And kind of want to keep him to this area of the hallway. Okay. Why is that? Just cuz you just want him over here. Makes sense. He goes all the way down the hallway. There's other males

and stuff like that. Oh, no. He can let him walk the hallway. It'll just slow the tour down. Oh, all right. I do have to get home soon. But anyway, he'll want to explore everything. Awesome. He'll take a nice dip in the water. Cool off there. Awesome stuff, man. Yeah. I like how you put shade cloth for yourselves when you're working and them. It slows the algae growth. That's something new right there. Oh, yeah. One of the coming guy females right here. She Yeah. If you go up Whoa. Stay here. Okay. Wow. She's new to the property. She's from our friend Shan

Hong. There's two of them. He's he's produced with them multiple times. We've been selling the babies from them and now they've they've ended up here. You've donated them to the property. Now Kagan is trying to get out. Um when I started the channel Yeah. and with you, we bought all those baby water monitors. Yeah. This is one of those baby water monitors. Oh, still only what? Just a couple years old, right? Four years old. Okay. Yeah. 4 years and a female. Watch this. She's probably not up for it today. Not even for an egg. She's not even She's not

even turning her head to look at me. Oh, can I peek into the box? It won't show you how big she is. She's ginormous. Oh, yeah. She's a big girl. Wow. We can only just make out her tail. Well, she's doing her thing. We don't like to disturb people or reptiles. You could send you a photo of her. No worries. Just another reason to come back. Yeah, she is probably going to lay unfertilized. She's definitely Wow. Looks like she's holding. The other one is in the lay box. There's another black dragon female in here. Sulfur female. Um,

holy smokes, man. So many positive male. I mean, we have to go. Oh, yeah. Got to go in with Alexander. Where is he? Xander. Yeah. I'll let Kagan. She's so much better. He's in love with her. So, hey, man. Xander Mander, come on buddy. They just had a big meal of fish and Come on, man. turkey. Yep. Not ground turkey. An actual whole processed feather on turkey. Wow. Damn. Oh my goodness. Everybody's like, "Dude, it's too hot." Oh my god. They have full bellies. Come on. He's puppy dog. Come on.

No way. It's like a cat toy, right? Yeah. Look at that pattern. Come on. Yeah. Well, we got We did pretty good. Now, you wouldn't be able to tease a normal monitor with a moving, you know, thing and then just reach in and grab him. But that's how he is. You can He is awesome. Probably going to shelter him right behind you there. Sure. You got it, buddy. That's beautiful. Is he a sulfur? He is a sulfur. Oh my gosh. This is Alexander. Oh, he's going through a good shed right now. And this is just the goodest boy. He loves it. The goodest boy. Holy smokes. That is a great animal.

He really is. You know, when you get a large, beautiful monitor like that just loves to be handled. And look at that. Yeah, I'd say he's a big boy. Wow. What cool lizards. Is it hard for you to feel like any monitor is all that big after interacting with Slinky every day? No, I mean it I love them all. You know, I love seeing these guys. That's an interesting question. Um, you know, Slinkie is a good size. Um, you know, Slinky has my heart, but I mean, I get excited to see how much you love your animals and how well they look and how healthy they are. And just to It just

further proves that these are not animals that are just looking to tear you apart. That if you spend the time with them, they're intelligent enough to do well here in captivity. Scary. Such a scary lizard. So scary. Oh my gosh, that's awesome. Now, you know, the reality is, and I'm sure you guys preach this yourselves, you know, these are large, intelligent, carnivorous animals and they need the space and they need the work done for them. You know, it would be unfair to keep these animals in a small enclosure, but you guys don't do that. And they're outdoors. It's, look at

this place. It's beautiful. It's awesome. And then clearly just watching Kagan, you can see the true passion and love she has. Uh, and just an innate ability. I mean, every time I come over here, I am quietly like, "Wow, this woman really has a gift with interacting with reptiles." And that's why you see me almost touch nothing now. Yeah. So funny. Why ruin what she's doing? I know. You're so funny. Oh, look at this. Now, it's really cool. Uh, it's it's really well done. Um, I do love seeing that work. And you look at this. He's completely happy. And this is

how Slinky and I are, you know, we just hang out with each other. I just enjoy being in their proximity, you know what I mean? And when you know the I think the greatest compliment to a keeper is when the animal comes to you and just climbs on you and interacts with you and nudges you and things like that. Um when they choose you over food is I think the biggest compliment. Yeah, that's crazy, right? Um, you know, we talked a little bit about it in the video with Pinky about how you guys are doing genetic work and you're making inroads into some scientific discoveries,

but you have to also appreciate the inroads you're making into their cognition into the interaction with how you interact with these animals. We're seeing um a different kind of process evolve between humans and these animals. And who knows what you know how long have people been keeping monitors. Oh if you're right since you know maybe the 50s maybe you know um and it they've become more popular. Who knows what in another two 300 years of human reptile interaction what we can discover. Can these animals be domesticated? Can these animals behaviorally change

uh like we did with dogs, cats, goats? imagine how wild dogs still were in the first 70 years. That's what I'm saying. Yeah. You know, so what you guys are doing by breeding these, you know, you have your F1s, your F2s, F3s going down the line, you know, the generations. Who knows what will be uh unlocked in their genetic code orient or programmed into that genetic code. I don't know. I'm just guessing. There's probably some real geneticists who'll say, "Kenon, you're a crackhead." Oh gosh. Can you imagine this dude standing up on command for something? I

don't know. He's already pretty laidback. I think it's amazing. I think he likes his new log. Oh, yeah. I love when my cycllor or my monitors rub against a new furniture item. They mark it. They almost like put it their scent on it or they claim it, if you will. So, that's very cool. What a beautiful animal. He's he's superb. How old do we know? Also about five. Will they grow larger than that, do you think? Do sulfers get massive? Jay's prehistoric pets. How big is a large Mr. Kipling? Yeah, that's right. What's up, Jay? How you been? Shout out to Jay. Been a while. All right, man. We're out of here. So cool. Do you

know how many different species of monitors you have? Oh, let's see. So, Asian water monitors, black throat monitors, white throat monitors. But then within that we have the Kate banded sulfers or no sorry the Kate banded white throats and dearl and the demerals. That's right. Oh no the demerals. Yeah. And then we have let's see what is Sally. She's a somatan. And then we have the hypo sambawas. We have all the different uh morphs of them. We have quite a few. Yeah. We have some hybrids. Different. We have all three varieties of corals. Yeah. Wow. I'm sorry albinos.

Oh yeah. T positives. C negatives and a coral, which is technically both. That is a coral male right there. Ash. Wow. I'm going to grab the egg from her she didn't eat. Wild looking. Look at him, man. That's an albino. That's a coral albino. Now you're getting fancy with these names. Albino. But a coral albino, I guess, because it's coral colored. Like if the coral was bleached, is that what you're going for? or is there markings in there that give it he's actually het for T- negative and T positive. So that's the presence of both albinism traits. Oh, okay.

So, he's actually pretty new to us. This is Ash. He's like Jerry said a coral albino which is carrying both the T- negative and T positive albinisms and he is a really good boy. He came from a family that just wanted him to have a luxurious life outdoors. Oh, that's a shelf. I was going to help him a little. He was produced by Kevin from Nerd. Yes, sir. Here. Dude, he had a nice meal yesterday, so he's probably like me. Not worth the effort. No. My goodness. Hello there, beautiful lizard. He is. That is so cool. He's still getting used to us and

the intense all day UV. So, I don't push their boundaries. I mean, he's he's pretty calm for the most part, but I haven't really come in to interact with him because I really want him to just 100% settle in before I push that interaction. Gotcha. He's He is beautiful. Yeah, that's great. So, patience is a big part of your training. Oh, yeah. Just consistency. I let them know I come in here every single day. I walk through multiple times a day. I do their waters. I give them food. And just establishing that rhythm with them. They fall into

the, oh, we do this every day. We do this. You know, they get used to it. And then that helps build that confidence and that interaction. Right, buddy? Right. That's awesome. Good info. Young sulfur male conan. He's still got so much space. Look at that. Oh, jealous. Look at those telephone poles. Oh, we're about to do something. All right, don't let them sit there too long. I'll bring a flatbed up here. I'm into the wackiest things. Rocks and wood. Oh, yeah. Us too. Yeah, I hear you. It's like gold. All right. This is your realm, Kennon. Yeah. Here's some cycllora

here. We're going to go in with frank and tequila. Now, those aren't monitors. Those are turkeys in qu what? That's food. Where' we at? Maybe. I'm sorry. I seem to have offended Jerry. He goes, "Whoa, look at this." We've got Frank and Tequila here. They are pretty. He's a really good-looking lizard, man. He is. These two are wonderful. I absolutely adore these. In fact, Frank here has influenced maybe three or four people to buy rhino aiguanas just because of how magnificent he is. I mean, just such a great animal to be around and interact with. And she was a little flighty at

first, but you can tell she's really coming around as well, I think. Look at how they're standing together, these two. I know. It's so funny. This is ridiculous. I love this. I like that they like each other. That's another big deal with Cycllora. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Frank, baby. Now, he is from Tai Park's Donkey Kong line, which is Tai Park's largest line of one of his largest lines of rhino. So, Frank here, while he's young now, he's slated to get pretty dang big. Yeah, we've seen Donkey Kong on the channel and uh he is a large cycllora, that's for sure. They're they're

beautiful. This is such a cool enclosure for them and they're just enjoying this glorious day that we have out here. Uh amazing. Ken, would you or your viewers know what plants would be safe for us to have in here with them? Well, they wouldn't last long. That's the thing. If you put plants in, if you want plants for decoration, I'd say some kind of small palms for shade and things like They don't eat a lot of the grass. Well, they won't do that. They might, they don't, you don't see them eating any of that. Yeah. Little picks on the bar, but not I, you know,

you put a hibiscus in here and it would be denuted quickly. Um, but what I would suggest is maybe get a potted hibiscus that you can put in and rotate out. So, you can just put a hibiscus in, take it out when you need to. I mean, they have their shade. Yeah. But still, we would like some greenery in here to Yeah. I mean, you could try maybe even like some um some of the cactus succulent species. Um I know they like to eat a puntia, the spineless prickly pair. You could do something like that if it would take, but they're going to be pretty hard on any vegetation to be

perfectly honest. I've put like daxs of hatchy grass in here, you know, some ornamental grass. They don't seem to eat that. Okay. Um so you could try that. That be nice. Yeah. But yeah, I hear you, man. I'm always looking for um I recently let the redfoot tortoises out around the back like and case in point the alicasia they've just devoured all these beautiful alicasia I had. So reptiles that eat plants. Let's see if Angus wants to Hey, is this a Louis eye? This is a Cuban. All right. You're Cuban. What's up, buddy? Isa Harris. Yep. So,

this is the line. Yeah. There's no blue on him at all. No. And he's super fired down right now. I mean, he's got so much color when he's actually like fired up. We got to love those little black mittens, right? I mean, that's just the funniest thing about these guys. But he's got a really beautiful face. Like that coloration khaki almost. Can we see that belly on him? Get in my belly. I like it. He's gorgeous. Yeah, he's That's a pretty Cuban, man. I wish he was fired up cuz he's I mean just so light. His face is almost purpley. He's got like a yellow stripe

down his back. Obviously, those oranges come up and just show so much more. He's all fired down right now, which is really cool. They fire down and go darker so they can absorb more sun. So, he's he's trying to soak in those rays this morning. But yeah, he's a cool animal. Oh, that's awesome. Yeah, he's a good boy. And so this is the species that they cross with the Louiswis to make Luisai hybrids, which is what we'll look at next. So we have some nice Luisai hybrids. One is actually from Tom Crutchfield. That's a grow out in this enclosure. Oh,

and Blue's right out of his door. Here we go. So Blue doesn't like shoes. He might come out and bite your shoes. I'm not afraid. Oh my god, he's gorgeous. Show us your shoes. Your shoes thing, man. So this is Blue. Ah, come get him. Come get my shoes. I don't know why he doesn't like shoes. That's just his thing. He thinks it's another male. I found that out recently. He likes my shoes, but then he wants to be loved on. Man, he is pretty. Yeah, he's super bright blue. He came to us in a little bit of a disheveled state. And he uh he got he's got some MBD going on. So, you can see his shoulders protrude a little

bit. His ribs are a little more flared than they should be. But blue. Yeah, he's a good Come on, Blue. There's a blue boy. That's awesome. That's a blue boy. Now you calm down. Yeah, it's a That is interesting animal. Yeah, he's beautiful. But he is beautiful. Yeah. So blue. Wow. So his name We didn't change his name. His name stuck. That makes sense. I had a rhino iguana named Azul. Oh, there you go. Yeah. Spanish. They can get very blue, too. Yeah. She was pretty. Now, this is a very cool species because I think the reds on their eyes are so much more pronounced than

a lot of the others. And that red Oh, he's going to close his eyes. That red really helps as like a sunblock to keep out the sun, help protect their eyes. He's like, "Oh, I see that shoe. I see that. You can nibble my Vans. It's all right." Oh, man. Now, we were worried about putting, you can see the size difference of that little guy out there. That's outlaw, our younger male eye. We were worried he was even smaller than that when we put him out here. We were like, "Oh gosh, is he going to be so freaked out by these big guys?" That little man challenges this big fella.

He'll come up to the door and head bob and open his mouth and come on man, I'll take you on. Not intimidated at all. And his growth has exploded since being put into the larger enclosure. So that presence of the other animals around him and that potential for striving for dominance has actually helped his growth just go crazy. That's awesome. Sorry. I'm all up in your grill. All right, boys. Yeah, dominance is an attitude, man. Come on. How we going to be today? You're going to let your mom pick you up? Oh, maybe. Yeah, we did it.

You got freaked out by a lizard jumped on my leg running up. Oh no, a lizard got on your leg. Running up my leg. Oh man, that's funny. I'll be honest with you. That'll get me too from time to time. Whoa. There you go. Whoa. Oh man, I can't wait till mine are this big. That's an alligator. Oh my gosh, that's impressive. So there is our big man Onyx. That is our big blackthroat male. He just had a nice meal a few days ago and he's still somehow at the door begging for more food. Holy smokes. That is a cool lizard. We feed him less than we feed our

other male and our females. Um he's probably going to push some air out right now. And you'll see he's not a balloon. Holy smokes. Let's see. Do you want He's impressive. Open the door to the other enclosure. I'll go in. We'll get him out. I know. That is an impressive animal. Whoa. We've got some spunk on us today, huh? He don't want to leave. He's in there with his female. So, he is in there with his female. Yeah, he recently got paired up. He's fired up today. Holy smokes. Yeah, never mind. He doesn't normally move that fast. Yeah,

that's all right. We'll leave him here. He's great. He's in there with a new female. Yeah, that's awesome. See your tail sticking out of the box? He's like, "Nope, I'm protecting what's mine right now." Can you even fit through there? Oh, yeah. See you later, Onyx. It's like me crawling into the bathtub. Oh, man. That's awesome. That is a beautiful, beautiful black. Now, of course, we got to pop across the hall and say hey to our Kate banded white throats. We've got two beautiful Kate banded males. This is Glacier in this enclosure. Who is that? Glacier. Hey buddy, that's

a cool name. You want to come out for me? Come on. Yeah. How we doing today, buddy? Oh, you're nice and cool. You need to come up and get some sun, my mans. There we go. Now, he's actually fired down. This is normally very white. So, all these scales that are kind of gray in there right now is normally white. He's just he's cool right now. He's been in his shade and his hide. So, when reptiles are cool, they fire down and they look a different color than when they're warm and fired up. It just shows you that wood is in the direct sun and it's such a good insulator.

Yeah, wood does a really good job. So, even in the direct sun, it's still cool in his wood box. That's great. Hopefully, our boy Frosty is going to be out and we can give a nice comparison of a warmed up one of these. Yeah, this guy's cool. Have you ever had a cape for a white throat? I've never had a white throat. No. Oh man, they're cool. They're cool, huh? You're in your shade? Wow. It's in his little shade spot there. Wow, that's pretty. Wow. Do you want to get in there, Kagan? Yeah. Like I said, I don't touch him anymore. I was impressed you actually went in,

you know. Oh, no. I thought he was. I was like, "Oh, yeah. There we go." Hey, buds. Come out and say hey. Let's see this frosty boy. Oh, that's gorgeous. Come on, Frost. Let's see this big boy. Frosty. He's beautiful. He has a great attitude. He's actually very gray for him right now. Yeah, he is. They're all fired down right now for such a warm day. You'd think they'd be all like onyx fired up. Wow. He loves the back rub now. Just such a unique look for a reptile because like normally you'll have patterns and colors that help them blend

into their environment more. And I'm sure in his environment this is what the camouflage is going to help him, you know, blend in. But so stark, so black and white, and just such a cool animal, rusty. Yes. Oh, some uh friends from South Africa through surfki racing and they call these guys through translation picnic lizards cuz they ruin your picnic. Yeah, they soon as you pull out some food, they come out just like squirrels do here. They just come out of everywhere. That's awesome. Smelling the food. Yeah, that's a good Look at this place. This is the pond at Wolf's World. What a fun place to hang out, huh? Oh, in the evenings, it's all shaded and it's That's where we end our

day. You can start seeing them. The fish are starting to come out. Yes. That's awesome. And you said you have koi in here now? Yeah, there's 23 koi in here. They should come around to eat the food. I can see one along the shore there. Um, they like the cooler part of the day, the koi. Got they usually go deep in the middle of the day. And who's this? This is Titan. This is our hold back blackthroat male beauty. And I decided to take my hand at attempting a socialization with a young black throat. Yeah, I think we got it. I think you're doing good. I think you guys are killing it, man. You're the reptile power couple and uh I'm

so psyched to see all the improvements, the health of the animals. Uh I'm excited about my Dryacon. I'm going to I'm not forgetting that. And uh wow, congratulations you guys. I haven't seen you in a while, buddy. It's been a challenging uh time, but it's good. It's not easy drive anymore. No, man. But hey, we used to do lunch together. Bye. All the time. M hey. Well, you know what you could do for me? Let them know you love them. Give them a sub and uh say thanks, I guess, if you want. Or just join up. And maybe I'll see you at their next Patreon meetup. And hey, that's a pretty

cool thing to do. Maybe we'll do something like that at the camp. Who knows? That be awesome. That would be awesome. We'll see. All right, guys. We're going to say goodbye for now.
