Today, we saw a huge batch of leaks for the Pixel 11 series, which we're expecting to come in just a few weeks in August. Uh I want to sum up those Pixel leaks now for you guys so that you get an idea of what's going on. Uh the information that I'm going to take is from this Android Authority article here. Uh Google Pixel 11 prices leak complete with major base storage shake-up. Uh I'll leave a link to that in the description. The source for this information is from a site called Deal Labs. I'll also leave a link to this in the description, but I'm going to be focusing mostly on Android Authority's reporting for this. So, uh the first thing that I want to talk about is the
major news, which is that the Pixel 11 series is expected to finally get a bump in base storage. So, if you remember with the Pixel 10 series, it came out in August last year, and the Pixel 10 Pro both started with 128 gigs of storage at the base. Uh the Pixel 11 uh sorry, the Pixel 10 Pro XL and 10 Pro Fold started with 256 at the base. Less than a month later, a few weeks later, the iPhone 17 series launched with every single phone starting with 256 gigs of storage. And this immediately made Google, you know, have egg on its face. It looked really embarrassing because why would you be spending, you know, $999 on a Pixel 10 Pro uh to get only 128 gigs of storage, especially in the era of AI
and 4K video recording and all that. So, that was a big problem, but according to this leak, it looks like Google is ready to rectify that problem and is going to start uh every single Pixel 11 phone at 256 at the minimum, including the vanilla Pixel 11. Now, this is going to change how pricing works, but I'm going to get to that in a second. First, I just want to give you a quick refresh on what the Pixel 11 series looks like. So, this is the Pixel 11. This is the Pixel 11 Pro. This is the Pixel 11 Pro XL and the Pixel 11 Pro Fold. So, you'll notice that these don't
look very different from what we've seen uh with the Pixel 10 series. Same basic shape, same basic camera visor stuff. But, I do want to point out that the camera visor here on these renders, uh, these are probably not accurate. And the reason I say that is because Pixel Glow is probably going to happen with the Pixel 11 series. And Pixel Glow is probably going to be a series of LED lights inside the camera bar, as you can see in this mock-up here. This is an AI mock-up, uh, created by a leaker. Um, I know that some sites and some YouTubers are saying that Pixel Glow is going to be something that goes around the camera visor, but I don't think that's going to happen because case leaks so far have
not accommodated for lights going around the camera visor. So, whatever Pixel Glow is, it almost certainly is going to be inside the camera visor, uh, and that is not represented by these renders because these are all based on case CAD files, so we have no idea what's going on in the camera bar itself. Anyway, so that's what the Pixel 11 series looks like. Um, these are the Pixel 11 series leaked colorways, which are pretty interesting. What I've done here is I've taken the names of the colorways and estimated what I think the hex codes would be for these colors. So, for the Pixel 11, which once again starts at 256 this year and then, uh, has a 512 GB model as well, um, we have light
sterling, which is going to be basically a gray. We have midnight haze, which will most likely be a black. Uh, fuchsia, which is fuchsia. And then moss, which is probably going to be a mossy green. So, these will probably be close to what the four colors will be for the Pixel 11 series. Midnight haze is interesting because, uh, this is the first time that it'll won't be obsidian. Uh, the obsidian model has been a staple of the Pixel series since at least the Pixel 6 series. So, um, yeah, it's going to if Google is changing things up by introducing this new midnight haze color and getting rid of porcelain
for this late Sterling, that's a bit of a shake-up. But of course, these are still just really basic colors, gray and black with the fuchsia and the moss being the interesting ones. For the pro phones, we have light fog, which will probably be the gray white off-white kind of color. Midnight haze probably going to be black. Dune, which is going to be this like beige-y pink, which is beige is like the real trendy color right now. If you go to a clothing store in a mall or whatever, every single piece of clothing is beige for some reason. So, Google's probably getting on that trend with this dune color. It's going to be a pinkish beige. And then pine, which I can only imagine is going
to be a pine tree green color. So, these will probably be your pro colors. For the 1 TB models for all the phones that offer a 1 TB model, only midnight haze should be available. So, if you have your eye on a 1 TB model in the Pixel 11 series, you're only going to have one choice. It's probably just going to be black. So, sorry about that. And then for the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the ones that are not a 1 TB, you're probably going to have midnight haze and pine. This is a little disappointing to me because with the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, you had porcelain or jade, I believe. So, basically Google's basically doing the same thing again, just offering one basic color and then a green color. It would have been
nice to see something change up a little bit there, but yeah. Hope you like green because green appears to be the color that Google's sticking with this year. So, these are the color leaks for the Pixel 11 series. And then let's talk about pricing. So, it seems clear that the Pixel 11 series is going to be going up in price. And there is some good news. Well, let me not good news, but some not bad news and then a bunch of bad news. So, the not bad news is that the Pixel 11 and the Pixel 11 Pro are probably going to keep the same price that they had for the 256 GB models. So, just as a quick refresh, the Pixel 10 came at $799 for the 128-gig model, and then $899 for the 256-gigabyte model. So, the Pixel 11, since it starts at 256
and no longer will have a 128-gigabyte version, it's staying at the same price. So, I've updated that in yellow here on these on this table. So, the Pixel 11 is probably staying with the same price, and the Pixel 11 Pro is also probably staying at the same price. Now, this is $100 more than you would spend if you wanted to get the lowest-tier model of a Pixel, but it's still the same price. It's technically not a price increase. Now, I know that doesn't help when you're, you know, trying to budget for something like this, but at the same time, at least not everything is going up. Of course, everything else is probably going up. And so, you'll see
here that I've highlighted in red here, the Pixel 11 Pro XL and Pixel 11 Pro Fold, the base models for those are going up in price. So, um I'm basing these US all this estimated USD pricing here on this side of the table. This is all stuff that I'm guesstimating, basically, based on the leaked EU pricing and leaked UK pricing. So, please don't take any of these uh prices as gospel quite yet cuz these are just my estimates on what we've learned from the other pricing that we've learned for other countries. Um but yeah, uh considering that the pricing is going up by about 100 euros, 100 pounds, whatever you want to uh estimate it as in uh those countries, it's probably going to go up by $100 here as well. Now, this would be a
pretty crazy price increase because if you think about it, a 256-gigabyte Pixel 11 Pro XL starting at $1299, that's the same price as the starting price for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. And, you know, I'm not going to go into specs and the spec wars and processing speeds and all that, but the Galaxy S26 Ultra is a more powerful, more feature-rich phone than the Pixel 11 Pro XL. So, for the Pixel 11 Pro XL to have the same exact price as the Galaxy S26 Ultra, that's going to be a hard sell, especially among hardcore Android fans like yourself, the people who watch sites like Android Authority or YouTube channels like Android Authority. It's going to be a tough sell. But, so maybe Google won't do this. Maybe Google will work hard to
keep things at the standard pricing in the United States so that it doesn't have to deal with people seeing the sticker shock of seeing a Pixel 11 Pro XL next to a Galaxy S26 Ultra at their carrier store and being like, why would I spend this much money on this phone? This one has more cameras, has a more powerful chipset, whatever. Privacy display. It's going to be a tough sell. And then, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold going up by $100 is also a good estimate to have. I can only imagine that this would go up considering the RAM crisis that we have at the moment, the SSD storage crisis that we have at the moment, generally foldables increasing in price across the board, and $1899 would still
keep the Pixel 11 Pro Fold lower than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, and most likely lower than the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and 8 Ultra, which we're expecting to launch at some point this month. So, yeah, I think that the Fold going up by $100 makes sense. This is the tough call. I'm not sure if the Pixel 11 Pro XL is going to go up by $100 just because, once again, comparing it to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. So, yeah, so we have some basic idea of what the pricing might be. We have the good news that we're getting more storage at the base for the Pixel 11 series across the board, which is great. We have some price increases, not great. We have interesting color choices, which is you know, interesting
news. Once again, these are all estimated colors. Please don't think that these are the exact colorways that you're going to see on these devices because these are just my estimates based on what these names are. Yeah, and then we still have to figure out what Pixel Fold is going to look like. But hopefully this gets you more prepared for what is going to happen in for the Pixel 11 series. Deal Labs did have some information about when these phones could launch. According to them, the Pixel 11 could be announced on August 11th and then actually go on sale on August 20th.
Those are leaked dates, those are not official, so don't put them in your calendar in ink quite yet, but you might as well pencil them in because to me these dates make sense. They line up with what we've seen previously for Pixel 11 Pixel launches in the past. So yeah, probably going to be in that range somewhere. Thanks so much for watching.
