Modeling, Dating and Plastic Surgery Rumors Addressed in a Personal Makeup Chat

In a relaxed makeup session, the creator responds to viewer assumptions about her life, covering topics like modeling work, her dating life, and plastic surgery. She explains that while she shares a lot of personal content, she has rarely addressed truly private matters, and uses this video to open up more directly.

reading assumptions about me (modeling, dating life, plastic surgery, etc). | Transcript:

Hey guys. We are filming or I'm attempting to film reading assumptions about me and I'm going to attempt to do my makeup while answering and yapping. I've never done this. I know this video has been around forever and if anything, I'm very like years late to the trends. Like not even a trend anymore. But I've always felt weird asking people to make assumptions about me and then I just talk about myself for the whole entire video. But I'm doing this because I've realized I make a lot of personal content. I share my life with you guys, but I don't really talk about anything that personal. Like I almost feel like it's surface level at this point.

And I want to get closer to you guys and I want you guys to feel like you know me. So we're just going to do a lot of life updates. The get ready with me portion is really just so that I'm not just sitting here talking awkwardly. So this isn't a tutorial whatsoever, but I have a couple of makeup videos up on my channel already and they're very detailed tutorials. So if you're curious, you can just go watch that. Okay, why is this sunscreen? Also, this isn't a makeup tutorial because a lot of the things that I'm using are all new. I've been

meaning to try out a lot of new makeup products. So this makeup might be a flop. Like why is my face so bright? I'm really excited to get into this actually. I want to expose so much of me. I want us to become best friends. So here we go. You're type A. This is the furthest thing away from the truth because I'm so type B. It's something that I had to come to terms with. I didn't think that I was that type B, but I come from a family of extreme type A's that when I'm alone, I don't realize it, but when I'm back with my family, I'm like, "Oh my god, I'm going insane because you guys are all so type A." and I just

look and sound crazy in front of them. And I actually just asked my sister, "What are some type B things that I do that makes you kind of freak out?" And she gave me some really good pointers. So, let's go through them. I would just be eating something and put it into the fridge. No double sealing, just open and out to be infected by fridge air. That is um very true. I'll be eating. It's also because I live alone. I'll be eating a banana and I'll just put half the banana into the fridge for me to eat it later. Is that not normal? Something breaks

and I don't fix it for days and weeks. Except I did fix a lot of the things around my house actually recently. I don't know where anything ever is. True because I have way too many things in this house. I'm constantly overwhelmed and I don't know how to organize it. It's really bad. Nothing charged ahead of time. Buying chargers at airports, gas stations, all that. Everything always works out. Like there's always going to be a solution and that's my mindset and that's why I'm able to be this type B. Your room probably smells like vanilla. That was

such a sweet assumption. And I do love a vanilla scent. But for my house, I've been really loving just making my entire house smell like a spa, like a wellness spa. So, I have this candle that is under my candle lamp right here. And it's literally made to imitate the smell of like a steam sauna, like a wooden sauna room. Some people say that it makes my house smell like a grandma's house, but I personally love it. Makes me feel very grounded and at peace.

I am, but also not at the same time. I'm kind of known in my friend group to have really weird standards. Like my friends know like the type of guys that I'm into, but also when I am like, "Oh my gosh, what about this guy?" They're kind of like, "Like why?" Well, that's always kind of been the case, but I'm trying to be really strict now. I am not getting into a relationship until I find the perfect person. And I know that might be like a toxic way of looking at it. Like no one's ever perfect for you. And I'm not saying that I have to find someone 100% perfectly matched for me because again, like I don't believe that exists, and you have to mold into a couple.

There's always going to be work to do, and I'm willing to put in my work to become like the right person for them, too. I'm like in one of those things that I'm like, "I feel like I'm either going to marry this person or I just might never see them again." I'm not sure yet. Give me like 2 months and I'll give you an update. I am a long relationship type person. That's another reason why I do think I'll keep this really high standard for myself because I've been on a such a good streak of being with people, like genuinely good people that I love spending time with, that I can't imagine being in a short relationship. I'm the type of person that I need to make sure that I really like you as a person to be in a relationship in the first place. So,

it doesn't really make sense for me to get into a relationship and break up with them in like 2 months. That's not very me. And I like to believe that I'm very good at reading people. And I also like to believe that I'm a very stable girlfriend. I've gone through my crazy phases. Like I was so jealous and so crazy because I really liked the person. Thank god, because if I don't like you, I won't even go crazy for it. But also now I'm like I better meet someone who makes me feel so safe and so stable. Like I

I don't want to meet someone who gives me a reason to go crazy at this age. I was thinking the other day like I can't. the place I am in my life; I cannot imagine standing outside in the streets with my boyfriend and like arguing. Like that's just not who I am anymore. And I will never let anyone do that to me. Some crazy things I've done before, obviously like fighting in a public place, crying in the public place because I was fighting with my boyfriend. Like so embarrassing. Oh my gosh, I've like told my boyfriend because we've had this issue where

he had so many like ties to random girls. And when it's so random, you know it's because they were just shooting their shot at everyone. Like it's not like they were friends. They don't have mutual friends. It's not like they've ever met before, but they're like. And also I'm a social media girly. I am mutuals with all of these girls online. I'll just like come across this random post. And of course the person that I was dating at the time, it'll be like liked by this person. And really, like if it's one or two people, I

can let it pass. But if it's like every girl in the area, not even in the area, but every pretty girl's post that I see and it's like your name is under there, I'm kind of embarrassed for myself. And you know, maybe that is a toxic way of thinking. I don't really think that anymore. But again, I don't want to meet a guy like that anymore, either. But yeah, this was an issue that we had. I'll be really petty being like, "Oh, so like what's this? Who is this? Do you know this person? Like, why are you liking all of their posts?" At this point, I've done this multiple

times and then I come across another one and I'm like, "Okay, I'm done. I'm embarrassed. And if you are going to act like this, I'm going to give you options. One, you're going to unfollow every girl on Instagram. So extreme. Two, you're going to delete your Instagram. Or three, you're not going to come home to me." Hopefully, I don't ever have to do that again. You are so into modeling. I got this new palette from Dior and she's beautiful. I'm going to use these two shades. Anyways, this person said you're so into modeling and this is a very. I don't know. I don't really

have a made-up opinion about this myself, but modeling I'm very back and forth on it because it is something I started because I wanted to give it a go. And since I've given it a go, it's been like 3 years now, I've been thinking like is this something that I want to continue? Because it's honestly something that you have to go all in or all out. It's really hard to be in the middle of it. A lot of people think that, "Oh, but you do like influencing and you do modeling. So, I'm sure they're like aware of that and you can kind of do influencing full-time. Like if

there's fashion weeks and events that you have to travel for, go to those. And then when you're free and you're just in LA and don't have anything to do, you can take those modeling jobs." But it doesn't really work like that. And modeling industry is very old school. I don't know why, but like the way they give me work, the way they communicate too is not very efficient in my eyes. And I say that they're very old school in a way that it's kind of like they will gaslight you, and they will just expect a full end from you because being a modeling is such a privilege. They

don't care if you make a lot of money doing other things. They want you to be always available, always down, and always putting modeling first. I've been put in a lot of difficult situations where I would have opportunities to travel and do work for my social media, but in order for me to travel, I have to put time out. Like I have to ask for time off from my modeling agency. And a lot of times, I'll tell them like, "Oh, I'm going to be out of town. Is this okay?" I'm very like polite with it, of course. And they'll be like, "Okay, like we'll keep those dates in mind that you're going to be out of town, but if there's any

work, like you're going to have to take it." And yeah, I've had crazy schedules because of that. It wouldn't even be because it's like such a big campaign, making so much money that like I should be prioritizing, but I'm solely prioritizing because I don't want to lose my spot in this industry. And that's just how the whole system works. And I don't know how I feel about that. I just don't love that it limits my freedom in a way because without modeling, I can travel so much anytime I want, but I always have to be aware of what my agency is going to think of me, and

if I'm going to be hurting my reputation. And yeah, I was traveling a lot earlier this year, and I loved it so much, and that's why I've been like this because I could be. like this could be every couple months kind of thing, but it's really just like a once a year thing for me where I travel for like a month at a time. So, I'm always weighing the pros and cons. But for now, I am committed to modeling and every time I go on set, every time I work, I am very grateful and I'm very happy to be there.

They're assuming that I've been casted for dating programs in the past and I have. I've been casted for multiple, couple of different dating programs, Single's Inferno included. I've been to an interview. Didn't get it. I don't want to take things personally, but like why didn't they want me? I'm really good at interviews. Years of vlogging and talking to myself, talking to the camera that when I'm asked to talk about myself, I'm pretty good at it. The Single's Inferno interview was something else because you literally just had to be like, "Oh my gosh,

I'm so hot. I can seduce anybody." But like you're basically talking to a wall having to do that. And I'm sorry, I couldn't do it. And then the other time I was casted for this dating show, I didn't think that I would be very into the type of people that would come onto this show. Like it wasn't very on brand for me. Like watching the shows roll out, I'm glad that I didn't go on it because it confirmed that there weren't anyone that I consider as my type. And that's important. Like I want to be actually in it and be invested. A lot of people knew that I was in a relationship,

so not that many opportunities like that have come up, but um again, I think I might have found my husband. So, I'm still unavailable. Sorry. I don't think dating shows and I are meant to be. I am INFJ. I feel like that's pretty easy for people to guess. I'm introverted. I think a lot. J is questionable. And sometimes too, I think that I am pretty T, but here's my situation. I'm pretty T when it comes to listening to other people's problems. If you want realistic solutions, you can come to me. I'll give it to you. My best friend the other day was like complaining to me because she signed up for a yoga class and she was a couple minutes late

and she couldn't get into the class. And you know, that sucks. But my response was like, "Well, like it is your fault that you were late. Like it does ruin the vibe for the instructor and for the attendees if you're coming in like 10 minutes late. And it's like not your fault that the parking lot was hard to figure out that there was traffic, but you should have gone early if you didn't know." She was saying how it was like such a big time commitment. Like she wanted to go to this class to rewind after work, like to relax, but it just ended up getting her more worked up because driving through the traffic and trying

to figure this traffic out. And even if she went to the class, like an hour-long class, and coming back home, it's like a whole 2-hour ordeal. And I was like, "Well, like working out, doing a workout class, is kind of a time commitment. If you want to do something if you want to do a workout that's time efficient, you just have to go to the gym and like your own thing. I think that was such a T response, and I apologized to my friend. Like, sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear, but like genuinely, that's what I think. And sometimes you just have

to hear things that you need to hear, not things that you want to hear. But, it's funny because when it comes to my own life, I'm very F. The P and J thing, too. I'm very J* when it comes to work. Like, if I have things that need to get done, I need to make a list, I need to make a plan, I need to make sure that I have enough time to get it done. But, when it comes to traveling, why is there a trash truck? Yeah, if I'm traveling, or if I'm hanging out with friends, I have no issues being like go with the flow, down for whatever. But, if the friends that I'm

with are like, "Oh, I'm down for whatever, too." I'm also very happy to be the decisive person and plan. you're Enhypen Jay's bestie? that is such a crazy assumption. No, I have no relationship with the Enhypen members other than the fact that I was just at their set filming. And I wish I could spill more episodes, but I don't think I can. Like, I don't know how much of it I can talk about. Like, I don't like people easily, and for the longest time, I thought there was something wrong with me. I was like, I don't think I'll ever find someone that I would

like. But, that's not really something that I worry about anymore, but it's really rare for me to find someone that I'll fall for. but when I do, I think I do fall pretty quickly because again, it's like either a 100% yes or a no for me. My friend told me once that if it's not a hell yes, it's a no. And that's not the case for everything, but when it comes to men, I think so. If you guys had the option of being with someone, obviously, like you like each other, but do you want to like the person more or do you want to be liked more? In an ideal world,

it's equal. But I'm at a point in my life right now that I kind of want to like more. I don't mind giving more. I'll give it to you. That I am from a rich family. There are so many things that I could say about this because again, it is not true. I could see why I could come off that way. And I was thinking, what do I say to the like. how can I respond to this allegation? I had a lot of assumptions that my parents pay for my rent, my parents give me allowance. We'll start there because I have never received an allowance from my parents. That was never our thing. They've

never paid for my car, even in high school when I was driving around, I paid for my car. You know, that was our deal. This is a funny story. When I got my Tesla in college, I literally did not tell my parents that I was getting a car because they didn't approve of it. They didn't want me to have a car because they thought that I wouldn't study and that I'll be in LA every day and they were right. But if you've been to OC, you know, you can't do anything without a car in OC. In California in general, I was going insane. I knew I needed a car. I knew it would change

my life. So I just bought a Tesla myself. But yeah, that is the type of thing that I will do. Um, and they can't say anything because I bought it I did it with my own money. They can't take it away. They can't say that I can't have it. And I'm the type of person that I can't do anything that I don't want to do. So, I've noticed at a very- I've learned at a very young age that if I wanted to live the life that I wanted to live, that I had to be financially independent. So, no one can say what I can do and can't do. Very fortunate enough where I started making money doing what I like,

which is YouTube. And it's really never felt like work to me. But from a young age, I started making my own money. I paid for everything myself. And I'm sure a lot of you guys would relate, but I always - when I was younger and I didn't have concept of money - I thought my family was rich, too. They gave me everything that I asked or they gave me most of the things that I asked for. They made sure my sister and I lived a comfortable life, and that we weren't restricted in anything because of money. Of course, there were some restrictions, so we couldn't get everything

we wanted, but I thought we were doing great, thriving. Until I had to fill out my college application. And you have to fill in like how much does your household make? That's when I was like, damn, like my parents are good at saving. They're good with money. And that's something that I'll always respect them for and something that I will try my best to learn. Learning how to prioritize and learning how to spend my money correctly. Yeah, that's when I realized that everything I was able to do, it wasn't because we had all the money in the world, but because

my parents were making the right sacrifices so that I wasn't lacking anything, that I got everything I needed to grow into the person that I wanted to grow into. And I will forever be really grateful for that. And now that I'm fully independent, I don't receive an allowance, but I give them allowance. I offer to pay for things when we travel, when we eat out, buy them anything they want, and it feels great. Yes. I had an experience where like this guy that I was seeing, he was really bad at texting me back. But his excuse was that he was busy. Like he's working.

He's got to make money so he can buy me nice things. And I was like, "Okay." Like "Okay." That was literally my response. I was like, "Okay, whatever. I actually like don't care if you don't text me back." But then, he would go crazy on me if I didn't respond to my text for like 30 minutes. And his excuse would be that like, "Well, I'm really like never really on my phone. I'm always working. But I know you're always on your phone, so why aren't you responding?" And I'm like, "I might always be on my phone, but I don't always have to prioritize responding to your text. Like I'm sorry, but when I'm on my phone, I'm also working. Like I don't need to; I can't respond to you every second."

And that's like a weird expectation for you to have of me. But yeah, insane experience going through that. I have a lot of fun dating stories, actually. But my mom always told me, "Meet as many guys as you can when you're young and single." So I really took her advice. But again, I think that I'm like the stable girlfriend type because I don't care if you don't update me every hour. Like, I trust you to be acting right. Okay, I'm almost done with my makeup, but I want to do a couple more. I love eating. It is one of my greatest passions. And when I eat, I mean, I do. No. I was going to say I do keep in mind how much of it I eat. But when I'm traveling and there's

good food in front of me, I will eat everything until I'm like about to explode. And I will eat spicy, sweet. Because the greatest joy in life is just truly enjoying everything in front of you. And when it comes to spending time with people and traveling, food is such a big part. I've learned this over time. Yeah, like feeling fit and being fit is such a confidence booster. And when you're traveling and eating all this indulging in all this good food, it does make you feel bad about yourself. It hits you. Like, "Oh my gosh, I feel so bloated, so constipated." I don't know.

But I would rather spend time laughing over good food and talking about how amazing this is and getting to experience that over starving myself and feeling skinny. Maybe that's like an obvious answer for some people. But like I've definitely gone through both extremes where I'm like, "Actually, like feeling skinny is so great. I love this." I would rather just eat really small amounts even when I'm with people or like skip hanging out with people, skip social events, or be very specific about my diet when meeting people so that I can maintain this body. Well, you know what I also realized? The weight that you gain

very quickly because you were indulging in good food with good people trying to enjoy good time, you can lose that very quickly. And if you have a healthy body, those good meals shouldn't be making you gain weight. Like you need to incorporate indulging into your routine and your lifestyle, so your body doesn't freak out. And that's always my goal. I never make how to lose weight very quickly, like those videos, because I know it will do well. Sometimes if I have a job and I need to lose weight, I have my routines of like you know, losing weight very quickly, basically not eating. But I will never promote that because our goal ultimately should be that our body can handle three healthy meals.

Healthy doesn't mean salads, either. Three balanced meals and not gain weight. Like that's the basic metabolism that we all should have. And then once you starve yourself and become so obsessed with eating very little and losing weight that way you will gain weight by eating three balanced meals a day. And that is not our goal. It might work for like a couple weeks, but if you're doing that, no. There's more to life than that. Oh, this lip liner is so good, so creamy. Literally doubled my lips. And one last question or assumption that I had was

I don't have any plastic surgery. I am all for natural, but I'm also all for if you want to do anything to yourself to make yourself feel confident, go for it. No one can tell you what to do. I'm very scared of needles. Um and modeling will get you to see every part of your face where it gets to you. I've gone through a phase where I'm like I need to change everything about my face. I need to get my jaw shaved. I need to get a nose job. I need bigger eyelids. What else have I thought of? I need a lip filler. Um what else have I. These are things I've genuinely considered

before, by the way. What else can I do? Like, there are so many things that you can do that like things that you couldn't even/ you didn't even know was an option. It exists. But I'm scared of needles and even like I want to get the skin booster so bad but I can't do it. I went in once because I was just going through it with my face and I was like I just need to do something. And I thought I wanted a lip filler but I ended up doing collagen booster shot. Juvelook? And to be honest, is there a difference? Apparently you have to do it multiple times

and I've only done it once. It hurts so bad that I cried and I don't know if I want to do it again. But I did that and apparently lip filler hurts a lot. So I haven't worked up the courage for lip filler yet but I don't think I'll get it because you can always use lip liners and lip gloss to plump them up. There are so many things that you can do with makeup and I have genuinely considered a nose job. I've gotten um trap Botox as well. It was so painful. I will never do that again. And this muscle is a big muscle. It needs so much Botox. I kind of want forehead Botox because I

use my forehead to open my eyes a lot and I see lines. But I'm trying to use the Rejuran serum to get rid of the dehydration line they call it? to plump my skin up so the lines aren't accentuated. But yeah, that's about it. Maybe a filler in my nose. Like I just want there- I have a very small nose and I like my small nose. I wish there was like a little bit of a tip. Because when I like make faces or laugh like my nose just like becomes so small. But de-influence me. Actually, I don't need you guys to de-influence me. I will be okay without a nose job

or a filler. I'm going to finish off my makeup with one of these pimple patches from rhode, I have like a little, I don't know what this is. Like, it honestly doesn't even feel like a pimple. It's just like a bump. Same thing. Not to be a brat, but I've been wanting to use these. But, I haven't had a breakout in so long that I haven't been able to use it. So, today is a perfect day. I'm going to use the pink one. I had such a fun time yapping with you guys. I'm so happy that we got to do this. I hope you guys had a fun time getting to know me. And I think we need to do this

more often. I didn't get to every assumption that you guys sent me, but that just means we'll have to do another one soon. So, that is my final face. By the way, I actually really love everything that I used. The Dior foundation I've been wanting to try forever, and Dior sent it to me. Thank you, Dior. What the heck? And the shade looked dark at first, but it worked out. The finish is great. I've also been wanting to try this Dior highlighting palette. Beautiful. But, my favorite thing I've tried today, honestly, the Makeup by Mario lip liner. I used the shade smoky pink. Like a dusty pink to outline, and I also tried adding a little bit of

almond for like a contouring effect, but I think it's really just this that I really like. Like, you don't need the almond. This is mostly the smoky pink shade. And oh, worth mentioning, I got this at the new Olive Young opened in LA. Crazy. And this is a no glue lash and it's really good actually. It was super easy to use. It looks really good. It feels weightless. Um I have the Coringko, is that the brand? But I think I like this more. So I'm so glad that I bought this. Bye you guys. That's it. Thank you so much. I will see you in my next video. Bye.
