Right, we're just on our way to uh the London area. Um we've got yet another fox cub trapped in netting, entangled really quite badly. What makes this even worse is, as you can see from my appearance, the hottest day of the year. It's only morning. It's coming up 29°. We're in the middle of a heat wave. We need to get there quickly for this fox and cut it free cuz it's going to do a lot worse than we are. I think I can hear her. Like you say, she's absolutely trapped in all this irrigation system as well as the netting. So, she's entangled in there as well.
I can see that. I can see that move. Oh, bless her. I'd like to get the other side of her really. But with the sun beating down on us, we had to move fast. I know, sweetheart. If we can get a towel over you, that will calm you down. You're in a right old bind here, aren't you? I know. Fine. Well, well, well. Now I've got it covered. God, that's narrow. Wait, it will just make my exit a bit easier. So, these are little things we got to think about. We don't want towels on her too long. We It's going to be hot for us. Wow, look at this. So, we all got all the this tangled and then this is all linked onto that do wonders. Actually, we got straight to work cutting through all of the netting.
This is quite work. And there was a lot of netting. [snorts] No, no, no, no, no, no, no. This is going to be the tricky bit. Okay. All right. There's no easy way to do it. We're free. Hello. She was feisty. After a bit of a tussle, we cleaned up all the remaining netting from the garden and rushed her back to W to check for injuries. in the sun. She looks it. She's got a tongue hanging out on one side. Are you not with it yet? Never seen him like that before. And still a little woozy from the anesthetic, she was given some food and left to rest.
