you like about Atlanta's poise after blowing a 22-point lead? I loved how they just never gave up. They've been relentless. They trust each other and that is one of the things that does not show up in the box score. One of those intangible things that helps your team find success and highly underrated. They trust each other. They love each other so they play for the right reasons. They don't care who scores. They just want to win basketball games. And it's not talked about enough. I think there are a lot of teams that want to win, but they also want to get their points. I'm talking about individuals. This team is not like that.

They could care less. They want the result. And you saw the play broke down and Jordan Canada knew exactly what she had to do. She knew her advantage was speed. That handoff right to the rim. Perfectly executed. Yeah. And speaking about they don't care about getting points. She only had 10 points right in this game. She also had nine dimes, but as you mentioned, like just having the focus and the resolve to get it done. Now, when Angel Ree went out, right, with that leg injury, Stephanie, you know, you felt like maybe things could turn change. But then comes Medina Okott. 14 points off the bench.

How did she step up when her team needed her the most? She was huge. And I got to say, I noticed in the first half one time when she came out of the game and she went to the bench, I saw Brie Jones stand up and greet her and they talked. They had a short conversation and you could see Okat nodding like, "Okay, I get it. I understand. Thanks." And then she went and sat down. So whatever that conversation was, whether it was something as small as instilling confidence in her or something she saw the way the defense was playing her, you can tell that they all helped each other. So when OKA came back in and Angel Ree was not going to enter the game, she knew what her role was and she stepped in it with both feet. She was

sealing. She was being intentional with her defensive positioning. She was making sure that she was down deep so that when she caught the ball, all she had to do was turn and shoot. We saw her with amazing hands around the rim at the end of the game. And that is the mark of a truly good team when your bench players can come in and perform under pressure. Yeah, they're definitely going to need her right when they make the postseason trying to have a deep run as it's time now for our Carmax WNBA player spotlight. point to when it comes to having a major impact on this game, but who would you say was the player of the game? Woo, that's a tough one. Um, there were so many moments, right, where they would go on little mini runs. Um, obviously you have to point to Canada because down the stretch it was that play, that final play, and you could see her, you know, getting in the passing lanes, as you mentioned, dropping dimes with the perfect assist. If I had to pick one though, it might be Gray. I mean, she can do so many things for this team and she is not doing it out of a selfish vein. She attacks the defense when they allow her to, when they give her the alleyways, when she knows that she can

draw contact to draw fouls on her opponent. They are really a good team and their understanding of what they are capable of doing. Um, and then that first half, Ryan Howard was so impactful guarding multiple positions. She had three block shots early in the game in the first half and she had it on guards and bigs. They understand their roles and that's why they're so good. That's why they're so good and they get to end right the first half of the season on a high going into the All-Star break.
