trade shows are and will continue to be this combination of the mess I like to avoid and yet the kind of mess that makes you and I the Nerds that we are it's about as tiring as it is fun and probably the best example of it is epha which I will refuse to call in German because well I speak none of it's been a hundred years of a trade show that's mostly famous for being the home of appliances today but which was known before by being inaugurated by Albert Einstein at some point and because it lat became Samsung's Launchpad for years of Galaxy Notes and wearables it's hard for me to deny how much I love Berlin how much I love this year show and also the products that caught our eye on some
very late coverage from the event because Apple pretty much stole the spotlight right after I'm ha with Paka now and let's dive into our winners let's begin with Lenovo since uh the company pretty much took the SP Spotlight before Eva even started this event was a lot about PCS with Qualcomm showing off a new Snapdragon X+ 8 core chip to make co-pilot plus PCS more affordable and we also saw stuff from AMD but I actually think Intel gardened some good praise when showing off their new Ultra chips and what they could do in conjunction with Lenovo Hardware as a result we got to see the new Aura Edition laptops that allow some cool and unique tricks with my favorite being this new think Pat X1 Carbon gen 13 R
Edition this is a high performance Ultrabook powered by the Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 Processor thinkpads have always been these Enterprise workhorses we never before called cool up until now with this Aura Edition you can now connect it seamlessly to even an iPhone to share photos almost instantly and there are a ton of other tricks like smart modes and tech support 247 other specs are very premium like a 14-in 2.8 KO Ola display with 120 HZ refresh rate the battery life has gotten major improvements with these new chips and all in a package that weighs a bit over 2 lb and also the option for a force touch trackpad which makes it even cooler believe it or not this is the first time that I really want to try a
ThinkPad so that says a lot the obvious next winner is the honor magic V3 and there are too many reasons as to why fbl are still struggling to take off and honor is one of the only companies and just the few that gets the design right a phone that's wide enough when close to resemble a regular phone and thin enough when open to be a great tablet the magic V3 has garnered a ton of praise for measuring just 9.2 mm of thickness when folded making it one of the thinnest foldables in the Market at 7.9 in diagonal the internal display is one of the largest and most complete with a great resolution barely any crease in 120 HZ refresh rate then there's the fact that most of the companies get the cameras wrong but not honor the
impressive 50 megap triple camera system on the back and the 20 megap front camera provide top tier photography capabilities then we have the best internals like a qualcom Snapdragon hn3 processor paired with 12 gigs of RAM which ensures great performance in multitasking and paired with 52 gigs of storage which yes take that pixel fold its battery is also one of the largest at 5150 milliamp hours in which we've proven in previous generations that these phones just get endurance right over all the honor magic V3 is probably one of the best smartphones you can buy right now and not just foldable smartphone as for accessories I think my favorite ones came from anchor the company had a ton of launches at the
show but their wireless goe charging station 3 in1 foldable pad was probably my favorite we've seen Solutions like these even from Apple that don't necessarily Land The Mark of great for the price this wireless charging pad is priced at $89.99 so yeah it's not necessarily cheap but uh then comes in four color options and what makes it stand the part is the functionality it's crazy compact when folded at 2.3 in super light at 4 oz and then extends to give you sh2 wireless charging for your iPhone and then pads for your airpods and Apple watch allinone this brings 15 wats of fast charging for both iPhone and Apple watch and even provides standby mode when folded also for the price you get a 40 W USBC power adapter
which others just don't bring and a 5ft USBC to USBC cable which is also missing on others it's probably the coolest approach to the form factor to reduce travel clutter that I've seen it a bit now a cool product that has been announced probably a bit before EA but did catch my eye was LG cabine Q I love projectors but not as much when they're too big or just not good quality this is an ultra Compact and portable projector it offers 4K resolution and an RGB laser light engine for improved brightness and color priced higher than competitors like Samsung's freestyle it's designed primarily for indoor use due to its lack of a battery its picture quality is impressive for its small size and it can
project large images making it pretty versatile for Home Entertainment also can we just praise how good looking it is it has a Sleek aluminum design it's easy to set up with autofocus and advanced manual adjustments including picture calibration similar to LG's Ola TV it runs on LG's webos platform which continues to be one of my favorites has a built-in speaker and supports Bluetooth Airplay Android screen share and other input options now speaking of projectors one of my favorite ones that I'd consider to be a perfect solution in comparison to Samsung's freestylist xg's moo 3 Pro it's a versatile and portable projector that offers a premium entertainment experience when you look
at the side I mean it's compact design and built-in stand make it easy to set up and take anywhere which makes it a cool solution for watching a movie while camping or just taking it with you to your friend's party and using it for something or watching a game in the backyard for its size the 450 isol lumens are pretty impressive as you could say it's useful enough for brightly lit scenarios it includes Harmon carton tune speakers though I'll have to test them in a review to tell you if they're good as that's not usually the case still I think it's a neat solution for anyone looking for better portability and usab ility now let's switch to audio s the Bayer Dynamic aventho 300 really caught my eye these are premium wireless headphones
priced at around 400 bucks positioning them above competitors like Sony's XM 5S though with a ton of Legacy backing the brand these headphones have a simple understated design with a light metallic frame plastic ear cups and the soft foam headband that to be honest I just I really like particularly in Black they feature active noise cancellation powered by dual Sony chip sets along with a transparency mode users can then customize the sound experience using the dedicated application with a five band equalizer and genre specific presets they offer a solid 50 hours of battery life which is crazy with fast charging that provides 5 hours of playtime and just around 10 minutes they support Bluetooth 5.4 with multi-point
connectivity and aptex and also include a 3.5mm headphone jack for wir listening they're equipped with the same drivers as the company's Legacy Studio Solutions which I'll admit I tried both and the capabilities were pretty awesome now as for power Banks I think the echo flow rapid caught my eye most even if the only sample available at the show was a prototype that was not in the best conditions because everybody was grabbing it this is a sh2 capable magnetic power bank that's pretty slim and yet brings tons of functionality rapid is available in two models 5,000 and 10,000 mahs in capacity wirelessly these provide 15 wats of fast wireless charging for iPhones and 30 or 65 watts of cable charging via the built-in USBC
cable it's also certified with a power delivery 3.0 making it ideal for anyone wanting to rescue a modern laptop the 5,000 Mah model is available now while the 10,1 is available around November 1st so far I just like how Compact and practical it is and all the functionality it brings even for its size last but not least let's talk about the TCL 50 Pro NEX paper 5G and TCL 50 NEX paper 5G both featuring very long names but then Matt displays that are gentle to the eyes and have this really cool trick see these phones include a next paper key which is a button that switches the display into max ink mode turning the screen into a black and white eink style view which is perfect for reading now it also has other benefits this mode also silences
notifications changes app icons to a wireframe design and helps extend battery life offering up to 7 Days of use for reading now obviously the specs of each are as mid-range as you can expect so nothing to go crazy about but the ability to use this phone as an eink reader is crazy unique something I feel that all phones should do like give you that like option for you to switch into eink and have them last longer that alone is a crazy cool functionality that I feel the company has done a great job at taking this next paper Tech further with it to conclude yes our experience with EA 2024 as it celebrates 100 years was pretty interesting lots of launches the typical good time we always have in
