with family fun. Hi guys, welcome to family fun pack. Today we're in Santa Fe, New Mexico. First we hiked the path to the cross of the martyrs. We made it to the top here in New Mexico. This is the oldest church in the United States of America. And we're coming up to the oldest house in the United States. Hi. So, we're currently walking inside that house. It's the oldest house. Here's some pictures what it looked like. Oh, wow. For giving baths to babies, huh? Wow. So, it looks like this part here with the two doors in the window.
This is the actual oldest house right here. And this was added on to it. So, you could go check it out. Wait, yep. From the 1600s. We just found this really cool art gallery and look what it's called. Where's the best name? We found a cute sculpture and Jade fits in. So cute. She has a baby in her arm. Yes, she does. She has a blanket just like you. She has a blanket. Wow. They're just like you. That's what I'm talking about.
They're so friendly here. Oh my gosh, look how cute this is. This is cool. Look at all that. Look how cute. Oh, you're sharing. That's nice. Here, put the straw on the bottle so she can get some. I want some. We're going to have to get a little more. We're heading to a national park and it's like raining. What the heck? I mean, it was really raining a second ago, but what a change of weather from the 100°. We're on a hike. I think it's like a mile. Uh oh, she dropped her turtle. Oh, careful. There it is. Careful. Oh, she dropped it again. Hurry, hurry, dude. Careful. Don't drop your turtle.
It's It's raining. We have umbrellas, some of us. But I know like I know. We're going to survive, though. It'll be fun. Yes. I want to do this. For some reason, this is so chaotic. I know Zach is being so nice. Oh, okay. Well, this is the stuff our mom chooses. No, I didn't. I hate it. The bowl in the rain. No one wants it. No, David wanted it. So does your father. Owen's lucky he's got an umbrella all this to himself.
Oh my gosh. We're hearing the loudest thunder lighting. Oh my gosh, that was a little too long and loud. I use my flashlight. I don't think we need a flashlight yet, but if it gets dark, we will. Oh yeah. Oh my gosh. Have to walk her. I could literally still hear thunder. Watch her. Watch the puddle, Owen. Okay. This looks kind of cool here. Back there we have Zach dancing. He doesn't care. He's having fun.
We're trekking up in the rain still. Oh, this looks pretty cool, actually. This is so cool. I know. Poor thing. It's a silly little thing. Oh my gosh. Oh wow. Look how high those stairs go. Oh, I feel like I'm tiny. Okay, this is how we get up. This is going to be cool. So, you could use this until I'm So cool. These are narrow steps. This is so cool cuz look, you look up and like look at that. Looks so cool. This wall is really, really tall. And there's petetroglyphs in it.
Are you literally joking? My back is Okay, we're doing an extra trail. There is a bear warning. Owen's a little nervous, but we'll be okay here. This is going to be fun. This is way bigger than this. What the heck? 140 ft up. Let's go. There's like a few ladders. Yeah. Yes, there's a few of these. There's like a bunch. Okay, guys. This is so high. This is cool. Scary. Imagine coming back down. First ladder complete. Now we're going up this very skinny little path.
Chris is trying to show off. Oh, he had to put his hands down. Just use your hands, Chris. See, that's point. See, look. I'm smart. Yes. I just didn't come back down. No, I'm putting it. I think we're almost to the top. There's Matt way down there. Barely can see him. I know. This is what it looks like way up here at the top. So they went all the way from there all the way up there and all the way up there.
Walking to do something cool. Oh, this one's kind of scary. This one's really vertical. It looks like it's not, but it really is. No, this one is worse. This one's worse. It feels like you're tilted. Oh gosh. Hey, look. We're almost getting some blue skies now. Almost getting some sun. Well, the rain did stop and we're heading back. Still soaking wet, though. Oh, yeah. We're I could probably ring this shirt out.
It's so thick. It absorbed so much water and I'm freezing cold now. Yeah, we're cold, that's for sure. But this is pretty dang cool. Like look at that from over here. Look at that. That's where we just were. This was a really cool stop that I like totally didn't know was here. So this is definitely a mustd do. Highly recommend. Wouldn't you say? Definitely. I didn't even know like that we had this. No, we're trying off in the car and I guess we will see you guys in our next vlog. We sure had a good day today. Oh yeah, really fun.
