There Racing Gameplay and New Features

Is this like Oh, we got the album as well. Is this not like the first ever Minecraft racing game ever? This feels like a mod. Let's go to machines and characters. There they are. Steve. Have you ever imagined Steve sitting in such a like an atrocious vehicle? And then

there's Alex as well. And of course, the creeper. Wait, is he driving with his feet? Is that what the creeper does? Or where's the minecart at? Where is it? Yeah, he's driving with his feet. Oh, that's weird. I don't like that. I don't like that at all. Where's this? Oh, there it is. Minecart. Oh my god, I don't believe it. There he is. This looks modded. It's actually real. But welcome to Sonic Racing Crossworlds. I have played this for a little bit cuz I thought the DLC came out earlier, but it doesn't. And it's here now. I don't believe it. So, I'm going to try and make that before I even go into the Minecraft world. So, we need to go to customize machine. It's in handling, right? Custom. Where's the minecart? Let's go for a Yeah, let's go for a darker blue. The tires, I think we had them as like kind of like the goggles on my head. Let's do it like that and then black around the outside. Where's the black hat? There we go. That one's Oh, this is rubber. That makes sense for the rubber texture. the cockpit. We probably just want black, right? Can barely see the cockpit anyway. It looks so weird that there's like the high definition in there. Oh my god. If only I had 2,000 tickets.

Like the creeper on fire inside the minecart. That would be sick. I'm not rich enough for that. Sorry. There it is in all its glory. Right now, I want to play one player. They're walking, but this game does feel fast. We go into the Nether. There's a fortress. There's wither skeletons. Nah, this is sick. That's ridiculous with all these other characters as well on hoverboards and stuff. Oh, you're going down, buddy. You're going down. I suck at this game, but you're going down. Yeah. Here we go. the dark child that we start with. Here we go. Started in the village. Get a decent start, but not incredible. So, the way you go fast in this game is you have drift. You have whatever the thing is called when you're behind someone. Is that also called drift? I'm not too sure. Look how sick this is.

They built this whole like castle themed path just for us. Yeah. You've also got these boosters right here. You've got items. So, I'm going use my dark chow right now. I don't know what any of the items do, but here we are in the ravine. I'm hearing arrow sounds. This sick. This is so sick. Through the Nether portal. Oh, it's clean transition as well. Yeah, this game feels fast. I've just created dark vet. Oh, the cars are taking me out. What is going on, guys? I have no idea. I know this is a boost. This is like the Mario Sonic equivalent of a mushroom. Oh my god. I'm going to use it now. Oh, we're

changing. Yeah, if you're at the front and it comes up with a crossworld um portal, I guess you get to choose. And look how seamless that is. And weirdly enough, Sonic and Mario Kart have just like tried to do the same thing with like crossworlds and trying to cross across different tracks at the same time, which is kind of mad when you think about it. Is this my rival up ahead? We can't be having that. Can I take him out? Oh, you're just giving me straight up coins. Okay, cool. I mean rings. Sorry. Thank you, ciao. Appreciate it.

Yeah, this game traps like taps perfectly into my nostalgia as well, cuz Sonic Adventure is one of my favorite games of all time. There's loads of little Easter eggs from Sonic on here. I'm sending a death bomb out. Ah, I can't control myself in the water. Ah, you can't drift on this one. You have to jump. So, you jump for this. And I missed it. Great. Yeah, the jumping is hard, but I will say back to the Minecraft world. The um the handling in water is way better on here than in Mario Kart. I feel it.

in there, right? Like I'm talking like standard classic Minecraft. None of the new updates and stuff. We had Minecraft shafts, TNT, Ender Dragon, which I was not expecting going through the end portal, the Nether. I kind of want to look around the course and see what other stuff they have. Man, that was great. And I beat my rival racer. Where's he going to send me next though? Because are we just going to play this course three times in a row? We might be. Yeah, it's cool. On this you have like gadgets and stuff, so you can start with different things. It's quite cool considering this was always going to be compared to Mario Kart. I really like this. They got the cherry blossom as well.

Yeah, second place. How's that sound? Right at the end. I got you. Right, let's play some other courses. I'm sure it'll just shove us into a new one. The creeper does feel out of place, but also like it's so memeable. It just works. This is Coral Town. So, I've only played one Grand Prix on this before, and I really enjoyed myself. I fairly earned my first place. Start with 30 rings and a dark chow. I don't know what the dark chow does. Also, if you bump into something, you lose rings, which is weird to get used to, but I guess it makes sense. No. Send the bomb. That bomb explodes on you, I think. There must be certain items that you can use to block things, but I haven't figured that out yet. What is this? A samurai? I don't even know what that is.

Oh, the weapons feel so much more aggressive. What you going to choose? Random. Random track. Chosen a random track. So, all the races are different. Oh, it grinds away their car. You see that? Does anyone else remember? So, I used to play Sonic heavily on Dreamcast. They used to have these little like memory pack things you could take out your chow and look after.
