Two Rob Features and What to Know

A typical trip to the grocery store turned violent in an instant. Then all of a sudden these two kids came by me. I heard one of them say, "I'm going to take all your money, old man." Bill Vanover says he was trying to get lunch meat at the Kroger in Galloway when two teens tried to rob him. It was just madness after that. I started getting beat on and kicked and hit from every direction and I'm on down like on my knees and elbows trying to cover up.

Court records show both teens are 14-years-old and each faces two felony robbery charges. Records also reveal this is the first criminal case in Franklin County for one of the teens. The other was charged with assault last year. That's That's absolutely insane. I mean, it's it's a whole different generation nowadays. Completely different generation. Bill tells me these bruises and scratches are from the attack and he has a concussion. I was seeing stars. And then this man came up out of nowhere after all those blows and said, "That's enough." And pulled one of them off.

He says the security guard at Kroger did not step in and thinks the man who did saved his life. Thank God for him. I'd love to know his name. Really who While he's still in pain, Bill tells me he's blessed to be alive. You don't expect that. You should be able to go into a Kroger. They got a security guard checking receipts at the door. And all these cameras in the ceiling. You think you'd be safe. But obviously not.
