Fragrances for Men Who Break the Rules From Floris 89 to Penhaligon's Sartorial

This guide highlights distinctive men's fragrances for those who follow their own style. Floris Number 89 Eau de Toilette blends citrus, lavender, and dry wood with classic English grooming character, and its shaving bowl appeared in the James Bond film Skyfall, with author Ian Fleming reportedly favoring it. For a deeper, richer alternative, Penhaligon's Sartorial Eau de Toilette offers a more intense option.

Let's start with Floris Number 89 Eau de Toilette. Citrus, lavender, dry wood. This is a classic men's fragrance. He has very English grooming traits. And if you look closely at the movie "007: Skyfall ", you will see that the Number 89 shaving bowl appeared in the frame. And to further confirm that James Bond would wear this fragrance, it is worth mentioning the author of the Bond series, Ian Fleming, for whom Number 89 was one of his favorites. If this scent is not to your liking and you want something deeper and richer, try Sartorial Eau de Toilette by Penhaligon's. There 's a lavender note here again, but we also add leather accords and an interesting steam accord. The idea is that this scent evokes the atmosphere of a tailor, making Sartorial a great

choice for Bond when he's putting on a suit, wants to look good, or has a mission to complete. But perhaps the most versatile fragrance that I think Bond could definitely wear is Tom Ford Grey Vetiver Parfum. Yes, it is dominated by dry vetiver root, but there is also a bit of sweetness thanks to saffron. And at the start-a drop of orange blossom. Absolutely beautiful scent. Thanks to vetiver, it goes well with both formal and casual attire. It is ideal for any situation where the stakes are high. And since we're talking about fragrances that are appropriate both at a formal dinner and during a tough fight, let's move on to the Creed brand. I would boldly add the aptly named Creed Viking here. Fresh, clean, transparent-this is felt thanks to the

bright citruses at the start. Fragrant lavender accompanies it throughout, ending with a pleasant woody trail. Yes, Creed Viking is definitely a fragrance that James Bond would wear. Next we have Tommy Conlon, played by Tom Hardy in the movie Warrior. I like this character because he is strict and brutal. He is short-tempered and defeats the " mad dog" twice, and I love both dogs. You know what else I like about Tommy? He is not afraid of what really works. Dior Sauvage Elixir. Yes, he would definitely wear this fragrance in his free time. If you've ever smelled this scent, you know it's lavender in a thick blend of warm

spices, licorice, and dry wood. Of all the Dior Sauvages, this one is probably the most powerful, and the licorice note is truly unique. And why I pair it with Tommy - every time you put this fragrance on, it explodes. Seriously, you can wear it under your clothes, but when she gets close and smells that scent, it will attract her, it will get her attention. And if this is too familiar for you, let's take a look at Nasomatto Duro Extrait de Parfum. Dry wood, leather, restrained spices. This fragrance simply feels strong in its sound. He feels muscular. It is truly devoid of any embellishments and, like Tommy, it is simply the basics. This fragrance has the focused identity of a fighter.

Some people find this scent difficult to understand. He's not trying to charm anyone. But you know what, if you smell this scent and you like it, you've found something you can wear for yourself. And now the next scent, which I know many of you are familiar with. There are pine needles, leather, tobacco, which transition into earthy patchouli and moss. This fragrance is a classic. If you've ever been in a locker room, you've probably smelled this scent. And that's why Tommy would wear this scent. He is practical. He is mature. Apparently, it's a scent he has fond memories of. The fragrance I'm talking about is Ralph Lauren Polo EDT, or Polo Green. Next we have Tony Montana, played by Al Pacino in the movie Scarface.

Tony Montana is all excess. Unbuttoned collars, bold cuts, theatrical confidence. Tony Montana wants to enter the room and conquer it. He never wants to be that guy in the corner. He doesn't want to disappear. So, with that in mind, Paco Rabanne 1 Million is exactly the kind of fragrance he would wear and probably overdose on. I can see him choosing EDT, I can see him taking the new black, maybe even elixir. But for this video, let's choose a perfume for him, because I have a feeling that's what The interesting thing about parfum is that it's still strong, but a little different. It has a salty floral character with a hint of leather. Still, it has this sweet vanilla accord. I can see him wearing this scent with one of his white suits, again

, applying too much. This guy wants to walk into a room to be seen, or rather, to be felt before he is seen. I'm sure Tony also likes the look of a gold bar, which is why he has a dozen of these flankers. Now, if that scent wasn't enough, he also has Versace Eros, which you guys will say, "Oh no, he 'll smell like every other guy at the club." We know Tony, he will drive the whole club crazy. He'll pull out his gun, shoot a little at the ceiling, and it'll smell good, because, you know, in Versace, in all these Eros fragrances, I like the combination of mint and vanilla. They also have a great plume and excellent staying power. And yes, this is the scent that I think he wore, especially in the beginning, when he was hanging out with

friends, having a good time, and getting into little troubles. Now, if you wanted something niche, I see it with Xerjoff Erba Pura Eau de Parfum. Erba Pura is strong, powerful, it is not a quiet fragrance at all. But, because it's from the house of Xerjoff and expertly blended, it has a bit more of a luxurious feel. And I can imagine Tony wearing it when he's entertaining guests, or maybe traveling to Colombia to see friends. And speaking of Colombia, when Colombians come to visit him, I imagine Tony wearing Roja Enigma when he holds his "little friend". Cognac, tobacco, vanilla, and everything else he does-Tony has a great time entertaining guests from the south. Today's video, gentlemen, is sponsored by Maxaroma. Next up, we have Thomas Shelby, played by Cillian Murphy in the series "Pointy Hats." Tommy is a man of impeccable style, thoughtful and ambitious. Since he loves tobacco, the first fragrance on this list would be Spicebomb Extreme by Viktor&Rolf. The tobacco in this flavor will definitely be sweeter. It also has notes of peppery spices and vanilla. And if you've never tried Spicebomb Extreme, well, what do you think? Try it, smell it What I like about this fragrance is that you don't need to apply too much of it. This blend of spices with vanilla makes all the flavor.

He is very recognizable. This is one of my favorite scents. And because it's a designer brand, it's relatively easy to find, which fits Tommy's personality. He's a man of the people, isn't he? He wants a scent that is warm but also somewhat persistent-one that cannot be missed or forgotten. Next on our list-Initio Side Effect Eau de Parfum. Rum, tobacco, cinnamon, vanilla. It's a very memorable yet charming scent that I'm sure Tommy Shelby would wear when entertaining guests in the evenings. It can also be seductive and manly, like when you're entertaining a princess from Russia. Hey, you want to make the best impression, right? And continuing the theme of tobacco, but a little sweeter, let's add a honey- tobacco aroma, and I'm talking about Naxos by

Xerjoff. So, yes, we have this honey tobacco, lavender, and warm vanilla. All this gives Naxos a luxurious and generous character. And what makes this fragrance different from all the others is its beautiful, bright citrus opening. So he looks a lot like Shelby. At first, you might be won over by how welcoming and bright it is. And then, when he lets you close, when you're already in his trap, it's too late to react. And speaking of danger, let's move on to John Wick. John Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, seeks to settle scores after a tragedy involving his puppy. Being a disciplined and dedicated person, I imagine that the John Wick we knew, who was still in mourning, would only choose dark and balanced scents. So, with that in mind, let's

start with Ombré Leather by Tom Ford. We will choose the EDP version, and this fragrance, once you smell it, will not be confused with anything else. Black leather, cardamom, and jasmine-all of these would fit perfectly with John Wick's costumes and his inner intensity. If you wear Ombré Leather, it's for the confident character who wears the fragrance for her own pleasure. He is undeniably strong and courageous. And anyone who gets too close will smell it and start complaining-well, they won't live long. Now, with that in mind, we know that John Wick buys things from the best stores, so we expect he has access to Nasomatto Black Afghano EDP. Personally, I'm a big fan of this fragrance, but it's not one that garners compliments. It is a thick, resinous,

woody fragrance with hints of incense. This is another perfume that a man wears for himself, especially a mysterious man who is not used to opening up to the general public. A man known only as " babaya" who disappeared for several years. A mysterious character who emerges from the darkness and puts a knife to your throat. Yes, Black Afghano-this is exactly the scent I imagine John Wick wearing when he goes hunting at night. I also want to add Lalique Encre Noire here. This fragrance is very, very unique. I've heard it compared to pea soup, but seriously, don't let that

put you off. It's actually incredibly affordable, and it's an interesting combination of cypress and harsh vetiver. It creates a calm, somber first impression. When you smell this scent, you think, "Okay, this is something unique." This is something truly courageous. This is definitely something deep, rich, and dark. And for the laconic man who wants a fragrance that will be different from anything others wear, this could be your choice. So, having said that, if you're looking for a wearable fragrance that John Wick might approve of- I'm not sure if he would wear it himself, but let's go with Man in Black by Bvlgari. Rum, leather, warm spices. You know, I'm not sure John would drink alcohol, but this scent would remind him of the bar at the

Continental Hotel, I think. And again, despite the name, I find this fragrance a bit brighter, lighter, and quite easy to wear, despite some deeper, richer notes. And since it's from the Bvlgari brand, you can easily find it anywhere on the internet. So yeah, if you're looking for a gift for a John Wick fan, this is probably the one. Next up, we have Tyler Durden, played by Brad Pitt in the movie Fight Club. So, the first on this list is Histories de Parfums 1969 EDP. Peach, patchouli, coffee and chocolate. So this combination is, oddly enough, unique, seductive, hedonistic-very similar to Tyler, at least on his fun side. And it has a nice contrast between earthy and sweet chords.

He unites them together. And for those familiar with this scent, it becomes stranger with time. The next scent I imagine Tyler would wear is Oud Whisper by Ojar. So, here's a breakdown of the notes of this fragrance, especially at the start: you can immediately smell a bit of spice. There's red chili pepper with guava and black pomegranate. Then, in the heart, you are drawn to orange blossom and sandalwood, but that oud with a hint of leather is always present, making it clear that this is something a little bold. Yes, I like this scent for Tyler because I see him walking around selling his soap with this scent that makes you think, "Oh, that smells so good." They get closer and realize they are being

tried to sell them something they didn't expect. And despite this, they still like it. And for those Fight Club fans on a budget, consider Drakkar Noir by Guy Laroche. Of course, if you're over 40, you know this scent. It was one of the most popular fragrances of its time. But for many young men, it seems to have disappeared. And, honestly, if you want to be a rebel on the cheap and want a scent that will garner compliments-gentlemen, that spicy lavender, green herbs, moss with a hint of leather-this perfume has become a classic for a reason. If you search, you can find great deals on it. Next we have Logan, aka Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman.

Rough, withdrawn, connected to wildlife, a bit animalistic. So, let's start with an unexpected designer option: Gucci Guilty Absolute Pour Homme EDP. This fragrance has notes of dry leather, cypress, and vetiver, giving it a very rough, uncompromisingly masculine sound. It's durable, practical, and has a "wearable" feel, and it's exactly what I think Logan would wear if he decided to dress up, maybe call himself Patch and hang out in Singapore-I can see him wearing this to blend in with the crowd. Next up is Red Colorado by M. Micallef. Personally, I have talked about this fragrance many times because I simply adore it. At the start, we smell a beautiful combination of bergamot, cypress, fir, and pine. The heart contains a very pleasant woody accord with guaiac

wood and cedar. And in the base there are leather, vanilla and patchouli, but they are not at all obtrusive. This is definitely a more earthy scent, it makes you feel like you're walking among the pine trees in Colorado. And it's because of that and his natural sound that I imagine Logan would harmonize beautifully with him. He doesn't have to be in Colorado, because he usually takes a driver's job somewhere further south, in the desert. But you never know. He may find something to do and decide to head north. And if he does so by packing his travel kit, this scent will suit him very well. Now, gentlemen, if you enjoyed today's video- boom, I have another one for you right here.

It was nice to see you. Take care, and see you in the next video.
