It just baffles me that someone would just dump puppies in a cane field. Do you know how small the puppies are? he didn't know. He said they were just small black lab puppies, so we're looking for black puppies. I'm also kind of worried that it's been really hot. These puppies, if they're tiny and they haven't had any food or water, they could be dehydrated or sick. So, you think someone shoved them in this box, basically, and they found these? I don't know. I just hope that they're still there. Yeah, all right. The caller didn't have much information on how long the puppies had been in the box or what their condition was. After the storm is usually when the mosquitoes come out and that is pretty

bad for those puppies, you know, just getting bit up. They're over here? That's what the guy said. Is that a box right there? Wait. It's moving. Okay, then. I think I see one. Babe, go. Grab the box. I'm going to get the puppies. What about the puppy? Wait. I got the box. Hey. Come here. [screaming] Come here. PUP. HEY. There's another one. Hey. Come here. Hey. What about THE OTHER TWO?

HEY. GOT THEM? I got them. Where were you going? Oh, it's puppies. Are there some in that box? Yeah, there's one. There's three of them in here. Hold on. Watch them. I'm going to grab the crate. Someone dropped them off and put the box over them, but once that cardboard box gets wet, the puppies can chew right through it. It's going to get filled with mosquitoes inside, so it's not a very good dog house for them. It almost does more damage than good. Come here. Come on. It's okay. Come on. Get in. Hurry up.

Oh, look at you. Good little puppy. We have five puppies. Okay, do you have some cover? Oh, you got it. Hold on. I'll just come help you then. Is that all that's left? Yeah, I got it. Oh my god, look how little this one is. Oh man, this one's got bites all over him. Hey. Hi. Oh my god. Look at you, buddy. Baby's got bites all over him. One of the puppies was covered in what looked like to be fire ant bites.

Here, got him. Oh my gosh. Those fire ant bites hurt like hell to a grown adult, so I can't imagine how they felt on these little puppies. Well, let's load this up and then I just want to go walk around that box just to make sure there's none we might have missed. 1 2 3 4 Okay, there's five. And none of them jumped out the box when you got over here, right, babe? Apart from the two that were outside the box, there was only three inside the box. Well, let's leave that little shelter over them at least. This track Yeah, but so you come out here and you put puppies in a box like that?

I'm not really sure why people choose to just dump puppies in rural areas instead of just bringing them to a rescue. Maybe it's a quick fix for them. Maybe they don't really know what to do. Maybe they're scared the rescue won't take them. We're not really sure. All right, let's get them back to the barn and then we'll look them over and get them checked out. Even though it is stressful taking on five more dogs, I'm very glad that we were able to find them. You see all those bites on them? Poor babies. All right, so that's one male, one female. Hi sweet babies. Hi, look at you brave children. You're a little boy, too. Oh, hi.

These are the poppers. Matt, on your walk back, can you grab one of these? I'll grab the last one. I'm going to grab the bottle. Oh my goodness. Look at all these bumps. This one's got bumps all over its little chest. Hi sweet babies. What do you think? Hi. We decided to let the puppies get settled in, get some food and water in their bellies before we take them to the vet.

Aw, little puppies. I know. Aw. That one's the tiniest. god. Is that something ringworm? No, they got like pustules like everywhere. Almost looks like they got attacked by ants or something. Yeah. Oh my god. Fire ants. Yeah. Thankfully, Kanani and M2 were actually around to help. Otherwise, I don't know what we would have done. All of them have like those little bites everywhere. Look at that. Look at it. It's bad. Like it's really It's got to be ant bites. Yeah.

He's got it the worst. I mean Oh my gosh. Besides that, they're actually pretty healthy. Like get them all the medical baths just to soothe their skin. And then get them vaccinated. We're going to start the dewormer and get them all taken care of. Oh my gosh. But they were found in the middle of the cane field, which means somebody dumped them out there. Yeah. Totally. Someone had to have gone there. There was no There's no houses around or nothing. No mama dog. They're skinny. Obviously, they've been there for a little while. So, someone totally had to just drop them. Yep.

Like they literally, not to be corny, they literally saved their lives. Aw, look at the little tiny one. So, what are their names? I was thinking about naming them like they're so cute and little. Maybe we name them after Teletubbies. I want to make the little baby Tinky-Winky. Um we got Dipsy, Upsy Daisy, Noo-Noo, and um Po. I want to say Tinky-Winky. Isn't it so funny? It's so funny. But this is Tinky-Winky. Doesn't he look like Tinky-Winky?

I'm so sorry you got that name, little one. Aw, Tinky-Winky, this is your big moment. You know, they're just happy little puppies. They were just happy to be saved, happy to get food and water. Look how sweet they are. night shift knows to take care of them? Yep, I've talked to the whole barn crew. Okay. Our first episode is to get them settled in, get them some food, get them some water, get them comfortable, and tomorrow we'll get them to the vet. But they're really sweet. Mom, we got more puppies. Yeah, exactly what we needed. Oh, god. Say we just need homes. All right.

But you got any questions? That's Tinky-Winky. You got any questions? What are the Teletubbies? What are the puppies that we rescued from out of the cane fields have been with us for about a week now, and they are doing so much better. Hi, bud. Look at your fat belly. Hi, buddy. Hi, buds. The vet confirmed that the puppies were just happy, healthy puppies, and after putting them on some antibiotics, the fire ant bites healed right up. Babe, do you remember this? This is the little runt who had all Oh, that's the one? who had all the bug bites? Oh, yeah. Look at how good he looks. And they had shots and all that good stuff, and Yeah, so they got their vaccine and their boosters.

Cool. We got Arty one in to get spayed, one to get neutered, and then we're slowly getting them in. There's just so many. Yeah, they look really good. Say, we need to get you out of here before you get too big. Huh. All right, puppies. They're such a lovable, happy group of dogs, and they deserve to be with someone so much better. The right home is out there, and we're going to find it. Don't jump over. Don't
