Hey, what's going on everyone? Just thought I'd say hello and hang out with Slinky and show you guys how he's been here on Patreon. Thanks for being supporters. We've got this awesome enclosure and we've got some inhabitants in it that are doing very well. I want to show you some of them. First, let's start with the king of the camp here. There he is. There's Slinkx just enjoying himself here. Beautiful [clears throat] warm day. He's still got some mobility problems. They get it kind of comes and goes, you know, but
he's definitely feeling his age. Arthritis has set in. Uh, want to give a shout out to the Madagascar big head turtle. You want to see something cool? Check this out. So, we've got our fluker diet. And this guy has this Madagascar big head turtle is becoming more and more like Marge every day. Check this out. Come on. [clears throat] It's right here. Here comes Slinky. He's going to try and get some, too. If I put it over here, usually he crawls out. I guess he's not going to do that today. What's up, Slinks? Let's just go ahead and throw it in there. There's Slinky, everybody. [clears throat] A What's going on, bub? What's going on? What's going on with my boy?
Oh, he's rubbing. He smells the food on my hand. We definitely don't want to get a slinky bite. He still looks handsome, though. But man, I love these turtles in here. Let's go check something else out. I want to show you. Ah, here's the African side neck, the mud turtle. And she's always hanging out right over here. So, let's get some food in and she'll start eating that up. There [clears throat] she goes. She likes to stay in this little kind of pocket of the stream, but they're doing well. And then uh let's see if they're actually where they were the last
time. This is kind of funny. You guys remember not long ago? Hello there. We had some of these. Excuse me. Got a little flem. Where did the oryia go? Not Ordyia, the Ocadia. They're somewhere around here. They were actually living in the waterfall, which is kind of cool. I don't see anybody in there, actually. They may actually be up here. Let's look for him. I saw one living in this puddle. They like the pond. They like the waterfall. They wander around on land. Those guys are Oh, here we go. So, here's somebody.
There [clears throat] we go. It's so funny to see these Ocadia. They just kind of wander wherever they want in this enclosure and they're awesome turtles as you can see. So, it is really cool to see them kind of on land or they're just everywhere. It is so cool. They behave like any other semi-aquatic turtle. They don't go far from water, but they really are a fun species. Hitting my head there. Of [clears throat] course, here's the radiated tortoises. There's slinky. Just a good time. Let's see what else is happening over here. I want to make sure I got this lid on properly. There we go.
I get locked in this enclosure from time to time. Where you going, Slinks? [clears throat] Where you going, bud? You better stay where you are. I know I need to trim this up soon. This thing's kind of Man, I am not doing good. Here he comes. Get over here, Slinky. [clears throat] But a very cool enclosure. I love the way it's grown up. You guys remember when we first built it? [cough and clears throat] Hey buddy, your dad's not feeling good either. What's up with me? Why am I so fle? Yuck.
I love helping him shed. It's just a strange thing to see Slinky kind of getting old like this. I don't know. What do you think, Slinks? You seem like you still got a lot left in you, buddy. [clears throat] I just got done eating a big sub. Maybe that's what it's all about. I don't know. Look at this filiden engine. This is just insane how much this has grown up. I'm a mess today, man. I got hiccups. I'm burping. I got fleg. I feel like Slinky.
Two old men. Slinkiey's looking for some food. I'll be feeding him tomorrow. Let's go see the croc monitors. See what they're up to. I love [clears throat] giving you guys a just kind of a fun little behind the scenes. You know, it's fun just to kind of wander around, check everybody out, go spend time with the animals. Here's Chase.
and Lulu. Hey buddies, I don't have anything. No food. No [clears throat] food. Don't bite me. Please don't bite me. There you go. Look how friendly you are. No food. No, I don't have any food, little dude. Hi, guys. What kind of mood we in? I know she's been chasing him. It looks like she's been uh wanting to breed. Their tongues are real flicking there. They're hungry. It has gotten much warmer out there. Look at her. She is just the boss in here. We don't want to ever get bit by one of these guys. But they're uh very curious. When you see the tongue flicking like that, that's
a lot of curiosity. Let's see if I can get a little pet. There we go. That's good. There's a boy, man. Can you remember? Do you guys remember how they were when I first got them? Huh? Do you remember that? Let me see if I can touch her. Yeah. Look at this. That is just amazing. These are not bloodthirsty animals. They're just looking for food. That freaked me out a little But I guess cuz she he touched her tail, scared her a little bit, but I'm able. No. All right. It's okay.
I just got to keep two eyes on them. Hey, buddy. Flicky. I'm going to move over here. I wonder if you'll let me pick you up. Huh? Will you let me pick you up? Will you let me pick you up? Oh, look at that, guys. Is that amazing? Oh, those are some sharp claws, though. Oo. I got to be careful with those claws. That was the first time I've ever been able to pick him up. How cool is that? Look at his claws. Dirty though. I'm a little dirty. And he poked me. Those claws are no joke. It's hard to pick these guys up without gloves. That's fantastic. This is just amazing. Just a moment, right? Just a little Patreon video
we're doing. Have a big breakthrough moment with the croc monitors. That's so cool. We are inside with two very hungry croc monitors, but they're more curious than anything. They're realizing that this is just a visit right now. They're not actually getting fed, allowing me to pick them up, allowing me to pet them. And it just goes to show you, you know, taming really is on their terms. I kind of allow them to let me know how they feel. And we had just a crazy winter. We lost two of our croc monitors, Bill and Diamond, which was a bummer. But we still have the hope uh to breed these two.
There's Chase and Lulu. And boy, are they just gorgeous. Really, really pretty eyebrows. You're all right, Bob. You're all right. Look at he's really calmed down. They're really warm when I feel them. They're just so warm. So, they're they're Look at the counterbalance of this tail. Look at this. Look at that tail. Just bal helping balance him out up on that branch. And I love the branches in here. They're big. Uh they don't rot out quick because it's underneath this root roof here in the suncatcher. So, that's that's pretty amazing.
Love it. love how these guys are doing. Um, and it's one of those things where I just like to spend time in here so that they get more and more used to me as being a part of their habitat. I like that she's comfortable. See the tail? That's a little bit of nervousness. So, I'll just keep moving around here so she sees me move and it's no big deal. But the tongue flicks. That's curiosity. The eyes are not in a wild state. Just new sense.
Curious about that shoe. Let's see. We definitely don't want them on my skin, though. I don't want her claws on me, and I don't want her to bite me. So, I'm just letting her smell it. But there's no food here for you. This is not a food situation. Lady, I don't have anything for you again. Now, let's see what she does. If we just give her scratches. Look at this. Oh, this is amazing. We're not actually Look at that, guys. Both of them allowed me to pick them up without any kind of drama. Holy smokes. It's just those claws hurt.
I mean, those claws are so sharp that picking them up bare-handed is painful. But that is awesome. I didn't have to restrain her. Um, this is just big. This is big news, man. That's amazing. Wow. I'm pretty psyched. Again, just a random video doing for Patreon and we have some really cool moments with our animals. So, there he is everyone. Beautiful lizard. [clears throat] Love. Look at this. Those digging into you. It hurts. It definitely hurts those claws. All right, guys. How about it? Huh? Was that cool? I think so. Hope you guys like that. That's the beauty of just kind of
having the GoPro on you. Start filming. You start to get some interactions you've never had before. I love it. So cool. So, oh, look at these little toad toadlets. Little toadlets just doing their thing. We got pigs in the backyard. Other people's pigs. Hear that? It's crazy. There's big snaggletoothoth. Oh, he just went under. shy snaggletoothoth. Otherwise, a fantastic interaction between the croc monitors and myself. Very, very exciting. I love it. Wandering up here, we've got our redfoot tortoises are out and about
and they are doing their job of weeding. Oh, look. Here's Bella. Beautiful Bella. Looking good, girl. giving you guys the updates. Oh my god, that's so cool. How about it? Look at her habitat. She's looking good right there. Oh, I love seeing her stretched out using the branches. Just relaxed. Nice iridesence on that red tail. Gorgeous, gorgeous snake. She's getting bigger. She is definitely growing up, so I'm happy about that. Also, the one downside about the red foots, you see them all. The one little downside is I had a new filidendrin that I was so happy about. And unfortunately, they decided to eat it
all the way down to a nub. So very sad cuz this thing was doing so well. It was having a good life here. And unfortunately, the red foots eat it to death. So, I'm going to have to kind of block this off and we'll get that thing growing again. That was a bummer. I really like that plant. It's funny. The plants I've become attracted to and attached to. Um, it's just the way it goes. Look at them all. And then they're mowing this. They're out there doing their thing. So, excellent, excellent stuff happening here. All right, friends. That's it. I just wanted to uh hang out with you guys for a little bit, show
you what's going on. I love these Patreon videos for you. Um Oh, look. There's a big boy. Big fella. Uh I love hanging out with you guys, showing you what's new at the camp, having special interactions you can't see anywhere else except Patreon. So, thank you guys for your support, and I'll talk to you again real soon. And uh see you soon. Bye.
