We're at Tuck Shop. This is Yuna's favorite spot. So, we're going to judge her for this. And I also got a matcha because I'm caffeine-deprived. The cheese pull is crazy. Send that picture to me! This one is a ham and cheese sando. Hello from New York. I'm in New York pretty often, but I feel like every time I'm here, I'm usually so busy running around and packing my schedule with things that I don't get to vlog. So, I'm going to dedicate this trip to get a YouTube vlog for you guys because I love New York. If you've been watching me for years and years, you know that New York was kind of my first dream city. I got here
yesterday, took a red-eye. I got zero sleep on the flight and straight out of the flight, I landed, I checked into my hotel, and I was running around all day and I went to bed at like 1:30am. I'm impressed I pulled that off, by the way. And there was an event that. I'm here for fashion week, but also just kind of a birthday trip, a trip to myself, a treat for myself. I had an event that I was invited to with my friends at 10:30 a.m. or 10:00 a.m. today and I could not wake up for it, but I'm really glad I took the time to sleep in because I needed that to reset and so that I have
the energy for the rest of my New York trip. My friends went to the event without me. They're out right now and they're getting lunch. So, I'm going to join them on the Lower East Side and I've been loving the biking here. So, I'm probably gonna hop onto a bike and bike to Lower East Side to get chicken and waffles. I was stressing myself out just a little bit because all of my clothes are wrinkled, but I don't think I have time to iron them and I'm going to be like biking around and doing things, so I feel like they're going to get wrinkled anyways. Khaki pants, white tee,
black boots, my bandana. I feel like this bandana is weirdly really big. I don't know. I'm going to have to ask my friends for their opinions, but like there's so much like leftover hanging in the back. I don't know if that's normal. This is our bike for the day. For fashion week, a lot of agencies and brands are sending around Uber codes so people can get around faster and easier. To be honest, Uber is like the slowest method of transportation
in New York, but it's nice. It's convenient, especially when it's hot outside. But today the weather is like perfect fall. And on Monday it's cloudy. Stop. I love cloudy. Okay, then I have to take my street OOTDs today. Yes. I'm with Jeffrey, by the way, this is Jeffrey. We ate with Marissa and Yuna, but they went back home. Um, we're going to go to Soho. Yes. Do some shopping. Yes. I personally, I don't think I should shop. I don't know how I feel. We'll see if there's anything that calls my name. Going to COS first. So cute. That's so cute.
Did you guys know Uniqlo has sunglasses? They're really good. Wait, look. Hi guys. I did a little outfit change. We were walking around Soho and then it got a little too much. We were very overstimulated and Jeffery got what he needed to get. Did a little outfit refresh. At least I did. Yep. And then Jeffery took me to his favorite spot because I told him I wanted to just like see the skyline, see the water, and relax. And this is. This is Gantry Park. No gatekeeping. Run,
don't walk. Come with me to Gantry Park in LIC. I'm just going to admire the view. I was telling him like this is so romantic of us. One, two, three, reveal. You guys know I've been obsessed with Sudoku and I found this one at the airport. And isn't this like the most perfect one? It says sleepy Sudoku and there's a cat on it. And I was like, "Okay, I have to buy that one." Show the view. Oh, yeah. I never showed them the view. This is what it looks like. I started the first page for the Sudoku at the airport.
I'm so happy right now. Wait, so if you're using pen, what if you mess up? You move on to the next page. You can't mess up! Wait, you messed up. Oh my god. No way. Is there a strat to this? Yes. So that means one can be here, one can be here. Now one can be here. Yeah. It says light and easy. What do you mean? We got string beans. And this fried rice looks insane. And we're waiting on braised pork! This is better than Din Tai Fung!
Super rainy in New York today, so I took that as an excuse to sleep in and have a slow morning. But I got changed and I'm about to head to the gym downstairs. Whenever I travel, I do feel like my fitness game goes out the window. But mainly because I walk so much more when I travel and I tell myself the steps that I'm taking counts towards my workout. Walking is such a good workout. We're going to take it further today. I'm going to go to the gym and do some light full body workout. Start the day there.
I actually ended up doing like a whole adventure outside. I thought I was just going to go for a quick workout, but then I came back to my room and then they were cleaning my room and I haven't had my room clean like the past 2 days. So, I thought I would stroll around Soho. I wanted to stop by Guizio anyways. We have a Guizio store in LA, too. But I don't know, something about being in LA. I I don't like going to touristy shopping areas that much. And especially the stores that have a line. I don't want to line up, but I'm a tourist here. So, somehow it works out where I don't mind going
to touristy stores here. And they didn't have a line because the Guizio store in New York has been open for a while now. The one in LA just opened and there's a huge line every time I walk by. So, I got two things. This top I actually was eyeing since last year and I feel like if you've been eyeing something for a year, you're allowed to buy it. Brown plaid corset top. I like the mix of plaid and corset because I feel like this flannel material in plaid makes it more casual, but it's super flattering. So you can almost wear it casual with like just black low-rise jeans or you can make
it really fancy with a skirt, teal boots and it's very fall and I feel like I might even want to wear this on my birthday. It's very me. And then I wanted to buy something fun and this color really caught my eye. This true teal color corset top. I don't think I've ever worn anything in this color before, but I might wear this to a show that I'm going to tomorrow. I tried stopping by Little Ruby's, which is my favorite cafe in Soho. But the line was insane. I had to wait 35 minutes to get seated. On my walk back to the hotel, I was trying to find what else I could
eat. I walk by a deli and I've never tried like a classic New York deli's breakfast sandwich and I know these are famous. I'm not sure if there's like specific deli that I have to get like the best one, but this one was just the one by my hotel. So, let's see what the hype is about. This is bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll. Oh my god. This can't not be good. It's not raining anymore. It's very sunny now, actually. So, after this, I'm going to get washed up, get ready, and go out.
Honestly, it does taste exactly what it looks like, but it's a classic. I wish I had ketchup or hot sauce. If I were to share any makeup favorites, I've been loving this blush from MAC, True Harmony. I believe this is the blush that went viral for being the anti- blush. And on top of that, I've been layering this, also from MAC. This is supposed to be multi-purpose. You can use it on your lips, you can use it on your cheeks, eyes, but I feel like this kind of fades away quickly.
So, layering this on top, it makes my blush color more long-lasting. And this lasts all day. And this is in shade Velvet Teddy, so it's also like a pretty nude pink. I've been using the Oppicola bronzer and highlight duo. The cream formula is insanely soft and buttery. It blends so well. But I actually love this highlight. I honestly bought this product more for the bronzer and I didn't expect to love the highlight side that much. But I've been using this highlight every single day and it gives me the most beautiful natural glowy cheeks. Yeah. And I also have been
loving this single shadow from Saie. Super Baked eyeshadow in the shade pana cotta. It's like the perfect ginger brown. It's like slightly pinky brown, but it's not too orange. Really natural on the eyes. I'm going to do my makeup. I have to watch YouTube while getting ready, so I will be doing that. Actually, let me do my blush with you guys. It's like a fun squishy putty formula. Like that layered together is so pretty. Now for the highlighter, how I've been doing it is I use my finger instead of doing like that. I'll tap some
this dress from Eterne. Flannel around my waist. Brown loafers little bag. And I think I may add a brown watch because I brought one. I think this will tie the whole look together. This is a watch that my mom got me for my. I think for my 18th birthday. Is that real? 19th birthday? Yeah. 19th birthday. Oh my god. What the heck? I'm turning 25 soon. Oh my god. That's been 6 years. No freaking way. I'm going to go to the museum first. Go to the Central Park. Walk around. Get some steps in. get dinner & wine by myself, I think, and then come back.
Weather is really gloomy again, so I'm thinking about just skipping the Central Park and getting dinner. I've been craving good pasta. So, just kind of skimming around to see what they have around here. I am back at the hotel. I don't think I talked about this earlier, but it's either me walking around with uncomfortable shoes, like walking 20,000 steps two days in a row in uncomfy shoes, or I'm like PMSing already. Probably a combination of both, but my lower back has been killing me. TMI, but my PMS symptoms. I know a lot of people struggle with cramps, and I do too, but for me,
the lower back pains are insane. Like, it's always been lower back cramps over actual stomach cramps. So, walking around today has been really hard for me. That's the main reason why I didn't go to Central Park, even though I really wanted to. Also, my phone was dying, which is my bad that I didn't charge it fully before I left the house. Had a quick outing today, which I don't mind. I also stopped by the old friend photo booth, which I've been wanting to the past few times I've been in New York. I don't think I was wearing the right clothing for
this either. Everything's kind of been a flop, but it's okay. I've noticed that doing photo booths, especially the vintage film photo booths, it looks the best when I'm wearing darker shirts, because the lighter color shirts tend to wash me out really badly. Like that one, half of my face is like blown out. But because my back's been killing me, and my legs also been feeling very puffy and swollen, I decided to treat myself to a massage. There's this massage place that I saved on Instagram that's located in Chinatown. It's only like 8 minutes away from me and it's supposed
to be really good and the price is really good and it's supposed to be a really good experience. So, I booked it for 9:30 which is really late. I'm not sure if it's okay to walk at this time. I think it is because I'm in Soho and there's going to be a lot of people. But maybe after the massage I might have to bike or Uber. I don't know how it works in New York. Yeah, I'm about to head over. I'm so excited to end my day with a massage. You guys know I love a massage. Good morning, guys. I had such a good sleep. I've been sleeping like a baby here. Like the hotel bedroom setup is chef's kiss.
I'm thinking about. I'm going to grab a coffee first and then there's a hair salon in Chinatown that went viral for giving out $25 blowouts. So, they wash your hair, style it, and I think it depends on your hair length and how much hair you have, like the price, but it's like $15 to $50 range. It's quite big, but I don't have that long of a hair and I also don't have a lot of hair either. So, I'm hoping it's going to be $25. But either way, I've been wanting to try out and I have a show today and I want my hair to look voluminous and
soft and nice. So, we're going to check it out. I am a little nervous because if it turns out bad and I don't like it, I don't know what I'm going to do. I'm just going to have to like straighten it back out at home. So, that's not the worst. The air is feeling so fall. Wait, you should do a clip of you pouring the syrup. You guys know I talk about HolyBelly all the time and apparently I influenced her to go. I went. I went like 30 minutes before my flight because Kelly
said I have to go. Yeah. And this is kind of reminding me of that. It's like savory with sweet pancake mixed and the bacon. Looks so good. Cheers. I don't think I've ever had anything like it. Yeah. Rice porridge with smoke. We're heading to the private policy show. Yes. He just got a haircut and it looks so good. So, I've been telling Jeffery hat he needs to teach me one Viet phrase every time we see each other. Ah okay. So today. today's word! phrase I'll.
My name is Kelly. Yes. We're at the Brooklyn Bridge to take pictures. And I've actually never been here at night, but it's so beautiful. Obviously the skyline behind me and the cars passing by. It's fun to watch. Very photogenic. Loving it here. It's my last day here. I got lunch with Yuna and Jeffery joined. I did. And I ended up going to Happier Grocery because they have a matcha powder that I really love. Now I'm going back
to the hotel and I have to go to the airport. That is the end to my New York trip. It felt so long but so short. I'm excited to be home, but I'm going to miss New York for sure. When am I moving here? I don't know. It might be sooner than you think. It really might be.
