a time when we see something emerging in the south. The question is, will it reach our region? And it will come. We'll get the remnants of this phenomenon and it's going to be your Sunday, which is going to be quite damp. This is the third Sunday in a row that we could have a light shower here in the D.C. region. Tonight, after another perfect day here in Washington, the skies are once again cloudless. Tomorrow we will have a little more clouds in the sky coming from Isaiah. It's still far down in the Gulf of Mexico. Again, this precipitation won't reach us until Sunday, but clouds will start to move in tomorrow. Despite them, we are in for another

warm and pleasant day in the District of Columbia region. We are getting cold tonight. Beltsville, Maryland, it's 54 degrees. Bowie, same as in Germantown. Upper Marlboro is 61 degrees. Waldorf-60 degrees. Colonial Beach at 59. Montross and Leonardtown-57. While your friends in Prince Frederick have 59. Dale City-55. Leesburg and Lovettsville are matching again tonight, as they often do, 57 degrees. When we look at satellite data and radar, this is what we see. You see that these are clouds from him. And it's actually a good thing that these clouds are there,

because they're being picked up by the subtropical jet stream. Another peculiar belt of strong winds in the middle layers of the atmosphere, which will help weaken the storm a little when it makes landfall. More on that in a moment. Tomorrow, an area of high pressure will still control our weather. She will keep the weather dry for us. It will be soft. We'll just have a little more clouds thanks to Isaiah. Because of this, tomorrow's temperatures will be lower. Most of us will have 60 degrees here in the Highlands and mountains.

Almost everyone else is approaching 70, including us here in central DC. So, we're leaving tomorrow morning, which for many kids in the region means the start of a three-day weekend. 56 degrees in front of the school. You should wear long sleeves in the morning. After school, comfortable temperatures around 75 degrees are expected in Washington with a few clouds mixing with sunshine, especially late in the day. Here is the latest news about Isaiah. We'll have another update at the end of this hour. So if we don't get it before the weather at the end of the show, we'll definitely show it to you at the beginning of the 11th hour. A Category 2 storm with winds of 100 miles per hour according to the latest data. His eye is losing a little

clarity, which is actually a sign of strengthening. What is probably happening there is what we call the orbital replacement cycle. However, as it approaches the coast, the upper winds I mentioned will try to weaken it a bit, hindering its movement as it makes landfall late Friday night or very early Saturday morning. That's when landfall is most likely. And then, like Jim said, the remnants of this storm will start moving in our direction over the weekend. The Fox model will show you why all this precipitation on the north flank is getting caught in these upper winds and being pulled north.

Here he comes out onto land. According to Fox's weather model, it will make landfall sometime between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. Friday. Now look at all this rain. As the storm strengthens and moves inland, all the moisture from the Gulf of Mexico is being carried north and headed toward the District of Columbia region through Sunday. In fact, it could rain from the start, and we could have waves of particularly heavy downpours. Whenever the remnants of tropical storms reach us, they bring with them a huge amount of moisture from the Gulf of Mexico. So if you're going to a Commanders game, get your raincoats ready, Jim.
