So, it's about 7:00 in the evening, um, and we got called to quite a harrowing rescue, actually. So, um, uh, we got scenes of a little fox cub trapped down what, at first glance, looks like it's trapped in an open grave. Um, as it turns out, it's on a building site. I'm told it's like a soakaway. It goes about 10 ft down. Poor little cub stuck right at the bottom, can't get out. So, we've got to go there tonight. Um, we can't leave that down there. Hopefully, it's uninjured from the fall. There's so many things to worry about here. On arrival, we rushed straight to the building site where the cub was trapped.
Right, let's go. Oh, crikey, look at that. And when did we spot the fox cub? Uh, well, I haven't been down for a while, so it could have been but it's been pretty a couple of days now. Couple of days down there. I saw it today. He's done very well. Let's hope he's not injured, anyway. Hello. How you doing? It's what we're going to do. There we go. Good boy. [snorts] Okay. Hello. So, we got resistance on all four limbs, so I'm happy.
Yeah, look at that. Hey, we've no injuries on the back legs. What we got on the front legs? Let's let's You can move perfectly. Brilliant, that's good. In there. All right. Let's pop you in. God, this definitely just feels like a grave. Thankfully Oh, I'm done. Oh, it's very tight. I've got to got the helmet. Ah, there we go. Ah. There you go. Despite two days in the hole, the cub was amazingly injury-free and full of life.
God, I'm glad to be out of there. God knows how he must have felt for a couple of days. Ah, here we go. Well done, little one. So, you just had a little bit dirt. I'm just going to see if I can just get that out quick. There we go. I'll just see if It's good. You're not going to want to drink. I think you've had a lucky escape, mister. And I think you're raring to go. It's I think as soon as you start calling, I think mom's going to come and find you. So, let's um Now we're out the hole, let's uh And after a moment's hesitation
