Tits Baby Features and What to Know

So, we've got something completely different this morning, away from our typical rescues, the fox cubs, deer and badgers. We've got um some little baby blue tits. Really odd one. When we got sent the video, it just looked like we've got a lot of little baby blue tits um in a fish tank. Once we sort of started asking a few more questions, what it actually turned out to be is this is a very large fire pit gas fire pit. It looks like they may have fallen down some sort of hole tubing vent. Not sure what it is until we get there.

They're adorable, aren't they? Why are you alone from that lot? I'm a bit worried about you. This is Whatever this is, it's it's a gas fire, very expensive. So, we're going to let the homeowners open this up with their tools, so we're not going to

get too involved with that, thankfully. And then where we come in is we'll handle the birds. See mum. There's mum. And there's the pipe. She's trying to feed, but they've gone fallen down that pipe. So, she's made the nest in there and they've traveled. She's stressing out. What a good little mum. So, let's let's box them up and then we'll see. We can see what wildlife aid can do. Yeah, just unscrew this one.

Unscrew this one and then we'll we'll get them out individually. I'm going to speak to the office cuz we've got the mum frantically going in and out of the pipe to feed. And I think if we remove those, she'll still continue to do that and get stressed. I'm wondering whether we take them back or we almost pop them in a box and leave them outside for mum cuz they should in theory they're only going to fledge for a couple more days and they're ready to go. Get them out and then we'll go from there. Come on. That's been dead. A while. Okay, well, we've got them. So, that's great news. So, if these guys were would naturally try to fledge and fall down, flutter they would be all in here anyway and they

would spend a day or two hiding. Mum will still be feeding. And eventually they will fledge with mum. And mum can fly. You're not far off. Isn't it? God, it's so nerve-racking, isn't it? Leaving them. But I know it's the best thing to do. It's just so nerve It's so nerve-racking. It's like your own little babies letting them out off to school for the first time. It's You know they're going to be vulnerable. You know they're not going to be 100% safe. And no matter how much you try and put them in somewhere and you can't keep them safe, they pop themselves out again. Mum's around, so mum will feed, mum will look after,

but they are fledging. They are ready to go. So, I feel like we've done our bit and now it's just uh up to nature to take its course. Now, fingers crossed all of these little fledglings survive and have a happy little life. God, it's so nerve-wracking.
