Yeah. Mo is better artist out of Orlando, Florida. Mhm. Born and raised. Been doing this for a minute. M minute. Mo and I are both from Orlando. Yeah. It's gang from the Orlando natives. Yeah. It's a lot of If you're from the east, you're probably Hispanic. Yeah. Orlando got a lot of like sub cities. Yeah. Paka, Pine Hills. Dr. Phillips, Tangelo. Like what part were you from? Pine Hills. I've been here all week. You got another a project coming out soon? Yeah. April 3rd. Yeah. Dang. Everybody's coming out April 3rd. Is this Is April like the month for It's a good I mean my birthday in April, so that was why I was just Oh, okay. Well, happy early birthday. I appreciate it. Yeah. Um, so tell me about the album. Um, it's fire. You know what I'm saying? It's titled Mo Where You at?

It's the production is fire. I use um one of my good homies channel where you at. That's why so his name is Channel Where You At. My name is Mo is better. All my collab projects are like a spin off of my name and their name. That's what I do with that. But the story behind it too is I ain't really been as active as I was. But that was the concept behind it too. Just Oh, where you at? And the project is telling all that. Where's Waldo over here? Right. That's a good concept for a music video.

You just wearing a Waldo shirt tracking and we everybody's looking for you. Yeah. Creative director. That's the concept every day. Yeah. It's hard. It don't sound like nothing. It doesn't sound like nothing. Love that. Some new stuff. [clears throat] It's a unique sound. Is it like techno and rap? No, it's not [__] together. No, it's it's still rap, but you won't be able to pinpoint like you won't be able to be like, "Oh, this sounds like this or this sounds like that."

Okay. So, you're not like taking from anything. It's just No. Okay. I didn't even listen to other music when I was making the project. Just so I wasn't influenced. How long does it take to like How many songs is in it? 14. Okay. How long did that take you to like put together or you just been working for the meat and potatoes of it? Probably like six months, but then from there it was like fine tuning it and all this. Maybe like a year. Wow. What do you feel like a good artist has to do in order to create something? Like obviously you got to lock in, but like what's your process?

I got so many of them. Um, one of them really, really, really, like I said, is just I get rid of everything. I don't get on social media. I don't listen to music. I don't really I talk to probably five people. Like, for me to really, really, really lock in and really try something new. I don't like being influenced by nothing that's on the outside. So, I think boxers stop having sex when they about to have a boxing match. Do you just quit sex? I'm not. He's like, I'm not a boxer. That's a part of the inspiration. I got to get some I got to get I got to relieve some stress. You know what I'm saying? For

sure. No, I'm not. What else inspires you? Only time I stop that is like lint or something. Like if I got like what? Lint. You know what lint is? No. Like with Christians when they take like that 40 days and like you do that? Yeah, I do lint. Oh, lint. I mean, I didn't do it. Lent is actually right now. Oh. I actually skipped it this year because it just I was I did a lot of sin. God forgive me. Okay. But you know, you know, he's a merciful God.

God forgive me. You know my heart. But um yeah, it's like 40 days where like you know Lint is 40 days. Lint I mean it's like I think it's like 40 days leading up until Easter. That's I think that's what Good Friday. Oh yeah. Something like that. What are you Catholic or Christian? What Christian. [clears throat] Okay. I grew up Catholic so I don't know. Yeah. But don't quote me though. Look it up. I will look it up. Yeah. Lint or something. So last year I did it I gave up drinking.

I didn't drink. They always give up something. Yeah. Give up something like Ramadan for the Muslims. They do. They fast. Sun up, sun down. That's tough. I commend any. I think one of my homies, Wayneo, he uh he practices that and he I'm like, I don't know how you do it. I feel like I be sometimes like I'll get into these modes where like I'll be so busy I forget to eat. So, it's like I'm fasting. But I think it's different when you a little different.

I think it's a little different when you like also sending him have to do it. Yeah. doing all the you doing it because of work, but when it's like a time frame and when you got to do some [__] I think it's a little harder. Yeah, I used to date a Muslim and it was like it that was [snorts] I'm not so I'mma eat and I'm sorry for you, but Mhm. Hey, I got a question about the creative process of when you record. Are you one of the artists that like needs an entourage? It sounds like I know the answer, but are you one of these artists that needs an entourage of like people in the studio to make you like feel? Do you have like an opinion of artists that do that?

No, I mean to each his own [__] You know, a lot of some [__] need 20 women, a bunch of B. They need a club in the studio in order to quit. Yeah, you need a club. It's not that distracting though. Like that feels like it would be a lot going on. Like it's a lot. It could be. It could be for sure. But I done been in the studio and it been flooded. But for me it's like I don't need all that. I just need me the engineer producer and we can rock out. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. I don't need all that. Yeah. It's like a meditative state almost. I would think. I mean, I don't know. I've I don't know the process to sit there and like do a whole album, but it feels like something that would be very like

you need to focus. When I was working with Zato, he told me when him Future was working on a project, she's right. He said it'd be pitch black in there, flooded. He said it' be 80 people in the studio with no lights on and all all you hear is him rapping and then they cut the song on when he done and it's a hit. Boom. So a lot of people work different. You know what I mean, right? Yeah. It's a party, I guess. I guess he needs to feel how what the vibe of other people would be if they're listening to that song.

Yeah. You know, some people need that. I might start trying that [__] one day. I might blow the studio out, see what I come up with, right? See what the vibe is. Let us know. Yeah. Pull up your house. Y'all come home. Bring the vibes in darkness. Then [__] come outside. Like how many hours is that? Like how long? I don't know. My sessions usually be about six to eight hours. A day. It's a work day. Yeah, it's a work day. it's a work. But instead of you getting paid for it, you investing in it. So it's a little different. You get a reward afterwards, right?

It's entrepreneurship. Yeah. You really banking on yourself every day. Mhm. How much is the most that you've ever spent on like a music video? People don't even do that [__] no more. Really? Like I don't It's pointless now. Yeah, but probably what? Yeah. Like music videos? Probably with uh with Bro Big Dog is probably the biggest budget we had, right? What was that? 15. No way. 20. Oh yeah, we did that with the label.

Yeah, that was like 25 30. That's the most I was 30,000. Yeah, that's crazy. What's the craziest thing you've done? What's the most out of pocket thing that you've done that now you look back and you're like I should not have did that for that? Not even on [__] like that. I think the wildest thing I done did is just like pull up on a chick when she was like ignoring the [__] for real. That was probably the wildest thing I did. I don't really like You would have scared the [__] out of me. No, she had me [__] up and I was hot. Oh, because he was real good. Was he like a hard Was she just doing that like hard to get or was she mind games? Was it like No, it wasn't like on no hard to get [__] We was arguing and then I

just ended up blocked and I'm just like I pull up to your house. You know what I'm saying? Like so I did. You know what I mean? And then it was cool after that. You know what I mean? It was straight after you guys obviously you talked it out. What happened? You know what happened? What? No. I don't know if the people want to know what happened. What has a dude ever pulled up on you after y'all was arguing? What y'all end up doing after that? Oh, it depends. What did you do to get I don't remember. Yeah. Right. All right. They never remember. You know what's so crazy to me is that men just have the craziest amnesia.

Like the best the wildest collective memory, bro. What did you do, Mo? I don't remember. I really don't. You know, when we doing wrong, we remember that [__] Only when we do right. The good [__] we did, we never forget that. When we did wrong, we forget immediately. You already know how that go. We never remember that. I couldn't tell you what I did, but it was cool though. It ended cool. Uhhuh. I remember getting some coochie that day. I remember that. That's all that matters after that. The makeup sags. Yeah, I remember that.

I already knew like we were looking. Isn't that the best type of sex though? No, it's toxic feeling. Makeup feels icky. What if you don't really feel that way? What? I mean, career-wise, you know, it slowed me down tremendously. Really? Hell yeah. Cuz a lot of my time was going to that. Yeah. Well, then that means you're a very active dad. That's good. You didn't like the That sounds healthy. Yeah. They ain't asked to be here. So, you know what I mean? I do that for sure. But you're like super active like the Hell yeah.

Yeah. Listen, at what they're two, three, three is like this is the roughest time, but then it gets easier. Yeah, that's what they say. That's what the These are your first two, right? Yeah. It gets easier. And they're girls. You're going to have the time of your life. Oh, yeah. But it's smooth though cuz they're nice to dads. They're not Yeah. picking it back up. So, it's all good. Like when did you like putting it out?

Like no. Decide that you want like that you liked rapping? have you always been Yeah, I've been around in music for my whole life. My dad and uncle DJs. Okay. I've been around the music for sure, but me doing it myself like 2016. I'm like 10 years in 2016. Yeah. Okay. How do How does one realize that they can rap? I can't rap for [__] I have to like I have to really sit down and like Yep. I know I can rap young. I could freestyle really well when I was young. But that's what I'm saying. Freestyling is what I'm I'm not it's like a thing that like

cuz anybody could rhyme words but freestyling is like you know like being from the hood everybody does that [__] so it's just I was just one of the ones that was good at it and then I played basketball so that was my focus and then when I stopped doing that I just started rapping my voice was a little different so it just worked. Yeah it just worked. Started rapping 2016 got a deal and what was the song that took off for you? Out of there. that went viral. And how did you what did you do with Cuz you got a deal from all that, right? Yeah. What did you do with all that money?

Spend it. What was your first purchase? What was the first thing you were like, No, no. My first purchase for that was I bought my mom like furniture. Oh, nice. That was my first I still remember that. That was my cuz I seen the money in the account. The first deduction from that money was at uh from your mom. Yeah. From some furniture. Yeah. Okay. And then what did you do for yourself? I bought a Rolex. And how many [__] you spoiled?

Let's hear it. Come on. At that time I was wild. You just got her all excited. Tell me about it. I calmed down a lot. A whole lot. That's good. Them kids slowed me down for real. I don't know. Where what strip club are you going to that they You from Orlando, so Rachel's got the best steak.

Oh, yeah. No, but that's not the That's not That's the strip club. Yeah, but that's not like the strip club that like I want to go and have fun at. I want to go to Booby Trap. I want to go to like But that [__] is not for that though. Booby just literally going. So you just So you're just I'm not getting no food in Booby. Never. Not a damn. The look on your face was like they got some good chicken wings. I'm not getting no food on Booby Tra.

The chicken wings are fantastic at Booby Tra. They have like rice or something. They got fried rice or something. Am I tripping? I've never gotten food there. Go Gold Rush I will eat. Huh? Gold rush. Everybody. Yeah. I got a place in Atlanta. Cheetahs. Yeah. Cheetah has like five star restaurant. Well, I think they closed Cheetah actually. No, I still I just went to Cheetah last week. It's still open. Why did I read that they closed that [__] down? I think it was like a shooting or something and they was about to close it, but it's it's still open. I just I literally just went to cheat a week ago. Atlanta's wild, man. Atlanta different. I lived in Atlanta for seven years. I loved living in Atlanta. I There was a time where I loved living Well, I worked at Folly's.

Okay. For a while. When Folly's closed in what year? 20 um 22. Fi's closed because of co it was but they were already having like a ton of issues because of the it was like um I was about to say regime changed the No, that's not what I meant. like politics man. They were they the um uh the counties changed. Oh. And so follies kind of fell in a different county and then the rules they the person that was in charge and it was just all political [__] and they've been had they had been [__] with follies for years before COVID hit and then once co they took away the bottles. Once you take away the bottles probably had lunch tables in that [__] You walk in there they got chairs pulled up the regular tables like

you eating at a school cafeteria. That [__] was different. Like I used to love probably daytime was a vibe. Yes. Yeah. Probably Daytime. Those were the days, man. Wow. Those were the days. And then they shut that [__] down. And that's that's the first Atlanta strip. Changed forever in Atlanta. That's the first Atlanta strip club I went to. Really? That was like my That was my home club.

I That's literally why I moved to Atlanta so I could just work there. Yeah. Uhhuh. Um what was I saying? The wings. The wings at follies or whatever. They were good. This [__] guy put his finger in my [__] ass crack and I almost killed him. Just the crack. That's it. Cuz I was just dancing and Yeah, girl. And he just he did it and like you know when you just react to some [__] I almost killed this. So you don't like when they touch you when you dance? No, I don't like at all. No, [clears throat] I don't like they're like spreading money. Like I mean if I'm sitting on your lap and I initiate and like and you're like being respectful, cool. But like if like I just the guys that are like there's guys that are just rough and like just be wanting to like don't have touch women

just like get all Yeah. No. Doing all type of [__] I take the money slide it. And I think to a certain degree you kind of have to be I do all type of [__] You kind of have to be [__] You have to be with certain guys. You know who to when you're in that situation, you kind of know who to be like a [__] to and who Yeah. All right. Like to ease up on. Yeah. So you just be you just you're like a I'm not rough though. relationship can mean the same thing depending on who you're asking, right? Well, to me, they're two different things. But to answer your question, one day I will be married. So, I got a little time though. I got a little time. Sounds like he's he's on it for sure. He's already thought about it. It is a big commitment, right? Like you have to file taxes together like said and then prenup. No prenup. We won't pre Who's that guy that he just called off his wedding recently? Dak Prescott.
