My friends, welcome to this episode of After Gear reviews. I hope you are well. Today I am offering you all a part of the new line of tents from OneTigris. This is Bastion. That seems to be how it's pronounced. This line of tents was designed for car and truck camping, not hiking. And that certainly applies to this tent. This is a two-seater option, and I must say it is quite heavy. The weight is exactly 6 pounds, making it too heavy for hiking. And I have to say, I appreciate the fact that OneTigris doesn't claim to be a hiking tent. This is a truck camping tent. And the fact that they are honest about it, at least to me, means a lot. Because there are a lot of companies, even well-known ones, that are trying to sell very heavy tents, tents that no one would ever

take camping with them, and they're trying to say, "Yeah, it's great for camping." "He is light." Although this is not entirely true. This line of tents recently hit the market, and I've already received dozens of messages and emails about it. I received so many of them that I decided to purchase and test them. You may have noticed that I haven't been reviewing many OneTigris products this year, 2026, and that's because, to be honest, the last few products I've looked at have had weird designs, did n't make much sense, and weren't good camping tents. Time and again we came across these tents that were quite large in size, but inside, for example, in the inner part where you slept, they were so small that the average person couldn't fit in them. Very,

very strange designs, and it happened over and over again. Hopefully, that will change today with this tent. There's only one way to find out. Let's start looking at it and see what kind of tent it is. Here we have a bag to store this tent. We have a handrail on this end and a tie rod on this end. Good. This is interesting, friends. This tent comes with two additional storage bags with attachment holes on the top. What they are needed for, I don't know at the moment. Here we have the inner part of the tent, the strut, the poles, the tent pegs, the guy lines. Then we have a storage bag and two extra bags that came with the kit. Here is a

tent pole, and I believe it is just one pole. I'll confirm that in a moment. As you can see, it is made of aluminum. This tent comes with two guy lines and 10 tent pegs. There are two mesh pockets inside the tent. There is one hook at the top for hanging things. And again, you have access to these two holes. One here and one here. Now we all need to measure the inside of this tent to get a good idea of how big it really is. One thing I never do is read the dimensions that a company claims for their tents. Simply put, companies lie, companies exaggerate. They will do anything to sell a tent, and this applies to both inexpensive tents like this one and very expensive tents

from well-known brands. With that in mind, let's see what the dimensions of this tent are. The height of this tent at the center is 43 inches. It's about 38 and a half inches wide and about 72 inches long, which means if you're about 6 feet tall, I would advise you to skip this tent because if you're 6 feet tall, your head and legs will be touching the walls. For this tent to work for you, I would recommend a tent up to 5 feet x 11 inches. With the awning on, the tent is fully assembled. Let's talk a little about the installation process.

Everything is clear here. It's very simple. You can easily install it in 10 minutes or less. There's nothing here that could trip you up or anything like that. To attach the awning to the interior, we have buckles in each corner, which makes everything convenient and comfortable. As for the attachment points on the doors, they are fully adjustable, which is good. There are attachment points on the sides, and that's where you use two guylines. I need to point out that in this tent you have no other guy lines, no other guy line points. This seems a bit interesting to me. Of course, since it's such a large tent, you have two doors. The doors have letter-shaped zippers. We have storm flaps that go over these zippers. Now I want you to

focus your attention on these sides. ventilation holes. Let me go inside the tent and I'll show you how they work. These vents, my friends, are for dry weather only. If it starts to rain, you will have to zip it up. At first I thought you wouldn't be able to open them from the outside, but I was wrong. I see the handles of the lightning bolt. This means you can access them from both the outside and the inside. As for the design of this tent, I really like it, but there is one major problem and one medium problem. The big problem with this tent is that if you are 183 cm tall, this tent is too short for you. So, if you are 183 cm tall, I would choose something else, maybe a four-seater option. It could be long enough for you to sleep inside, or you could sleep

diagonally in this tent, but then this tent becomes a single tent. I really wish OneTigris would make this tent longer because there are a lot of people who are 183cm and taller. The next problem I have with this tent is on the sides. As you can see here below, there is no way to secure this and tear this material away from the inside. There is some indentation, and it is about 2 inches. Being able to pull this out will greatly improve ventilation, airflow, and reduce condensation. Since there is no way to vent this, condensation, airflow, will be even worse with this tent. Luckily, you have a door and plenty of netting. So the airflow

inside this tent won't be terrible. But if it's raining and your tent is completely sealed, you'll regret not having the option to pull it out for better airflow. You can buy clamps that you can use to clamp this in and then pull it out, but you have to be careful because these clamps tend to be very abrasive and they can tear the material quite easily. Therefore, you must use them in a certain way. You must take certain precautions to protect the material. Before I continue with my thoughts on this tent, let's look at.Some quick statistics. This is a two-person tent designed for camping during three seasons. We have two doors, two vents, and the color of this tent is green and brown. I like the color combination. I think this tent looks good. When folded,

it is quite large. Its dimensions are 22 inches by 6.3 inches. And the weight, again, is exactly 6 pounds. As for the materials, they are 75 denier polyester, 20 denier polyester mesh, and 20 denier nylon tarpaulin. You have YKK zippers, aluminum poles, and tent pegs. The waterproofness of this tent is 3000 mm. And the price at the time of filming on Amazon is $120. It should also be noted that a four-person version of this tent is now available. When I bought this one, a four-seater, it wasn't on the market yet. That being said, since these are tents for camping on a car, truck, if it were me, I would personally go for the four-person option if the price is right for you. If you're going to be camping in a car or truck, you may have a ton of

space. Continuing my thoughts regarding the build quality of this tent, it looks really good. Every stitch is perfect. There is not a single loose thread. Seam tape is perfect. For $120, this tent looks great. Regarding the weight of this tent, yes, it is heavy. At the same time, the storage space is quite large. But that's okay, because it's a camping tent for a car/ truck. OneTigris deserves some praise, and that's because they don't try to lie to their customers and say it's a tourist tent when it's not. Most people don't go hiking with 6- pound tents, even if they're two-person tents. This is a lot of weight, especially for a two-person

tent. OneTigris deserves praise for this aspect because there are even well-known brand companies that sell tents that are.too heavy for hiking, and these companies claim that tents weighing over 6 pounds are lightweight and perfect for hiking, which is simply not true. These companies are cashing in on customers who simply don't know any better, and that's wrong. So well done OneTigris for being honest about what this tent is and what it is for Unfortunately, when it comes to the outdoor industry, as with any other industry, many players are dishonest and will say anything and do anything to get a sale, and I don't like that. In any case, we have a large door in this tent, which makes it much easier to get in and out of it.

The ventilation in this tent should be good, but not great. It won't be great because the sides don't extend. Ultimately, condensation shouldn't be too much of a concern in this tent because we have the ability to get airflow under those massive doors. At the same time, the screen moves away from the inner part, and the inner part itself has a lot of mesh. Now, of course, I will check this aspect very carefully. Coming soon, so stay tuned for updates. Also, I will be testing this tent for waterproofing soon to see if there are any issues. Stay tuned for updates. This should be very, very interesting. Finally, we should talk about the price of this tent, assuming there are no condensation and leakage issues.

$120 for a tent of this size is a really good deal. You can very easily spend a lot more and get a lot less. The only real problem I see with this tent is the overall length. I wish it was longer for taller people, but it is what it is. Maybe the four-seater version is longer, but I'm not sure that's true. Again, when I searched for this tent, only the double option was available. I believe that has changed and I believe a four-seater is now available. I definitely talked a lot. Now it's your turn. Have your say in the comments section below. What do you all think about this new OneTigris tent? First, what do you all think about the color scheme?

Green, Brown, do you like it? Next, what do you think about the feature set of this tent? What do you like? What do n't you like? Leave a comment below. Stay tuned for updates on the waterproofing of this tent. They will be here very soon. Until next time, everyone. Take care of yourself. Strength and honor. See you later. By the way, thank you to everyone who wrote me a request to review this tent. I appreciate it. I appreciate this because everything I review is based on your suggestions and recommendations. Thank you all.
