I purchased the internet's most viral dental products to find out which ones are worth it and which ones are scamming you. This mouthwash makes this nasty gunk come out of your mouth. And the reviews say it pulls out years of nasty gunk and buildup. It looks like peeping and smells a little funky, but let's give it a try. Not only did that burn, but it also tasted pretty bad. Oh, look at that nasty gunk. Oh, now that's wicked. This mouthwash fearmogs you into thinking you got a bunch of nasty gunk in your mouth. So, this mouthwash works by binding to your saliva and dying it brown by using a caramel coloring agent. So, it looks like there's gunk coming out of your mouth, but in reality, it's just your
saliva. Let's check the breath checker. This will detect sulfur compounds to see if my breath is fresh. Hey, it actually worked. It's a zero. I smell mouthwash actually works at freshening your breath. Our next product is this purple mouthwash that instantly whitens your teeth. And once I saw these videos, I knew I had to give this product a try. This is Dr. Den's purple mouthwash. It comes in a single-use packet, which is pretty nice for travel. I say to snip it, suck it, swish it. Now, let's see what happens after swishing for 30 seconds. Ooh, red food dye and blue food dye. I guess that makes purple. [snorts] What do you think? Do my teeth look whiter? My tongue is for sure pink.
Purple is the opposite of yellow on the color wheel. The purple mouthwash cancels out the yellow stains on your teeth. There's no peroxides in here or anything that can actually whiten your teeth. So, even though it looks like you get instant whitening results, purple effects quickly fade and your teeth color goes back to normal. This product's not a scam, but I don't really fully recommend it because you're just switching a bunch of food coloring around. So, uh, I wouldn't buy this. If you actually want whiter teeth, make sure to stick around because we're testing plenty more whitening products that actually work. Next up is a whitening strip with the same purple technology that supposedly whitens your
teeth instantly. I had to purchase these purple whitening strips that have been all over my feet. I bought the two most popular brands, Dr. Dent and High Smile. Both are pretty similar, and I've tried the High Smile plenty of times. It works okay, but I'm really interested to see if this Dr. your dent whitening strip works any better. High Smile uses a strong whitening agent called PAP, which is an ingredient that was originally made for your washing machine to make your clothes look whiter. So, we're going to skip the High Smile and try out Dr. Dent today. Comes with a shade guide. Before results, I'm about a three. I'm only going to whiten my top
teeth to see if there's a difference. Don't use them all the time because you're putting concentrated food dye just straight on your teeth. That's pretty gross. The whitening strips not a scam. They actually work. This $40 electric toothbrush is apparently better than the $200 Sonic Air. And I love my Sonic Air toothbrush. It comes with a travel case, eight spare bristle head, which should last you 2 years, and a wireless charger. It's got a nice sleek handle
with four cleaning modes. It has 40,000 vibrations per minute, which is pretty good, but not as good as Fatlo's 50,000 vibrations per minute. I've been using this brush for the past month, and my least favorite part are these bristles. It literally rattles against my teeth and it feels super cheap, which is why Backlop's bristle head is soft and squishy so it doesn't rattle against your teeth. For under $50, this brush is not a scam. It's actually pretty good. It has so many bristle heads and a strong vibrating motor. If you need a new electric toothbrush or you've never tried one before, this is a great option. It's not as good as my $200 Sonicare, but it definitely cleans better than a normal manual brush. Now,
a good toothbrush isn't complete without a good toothpaste. There's lots of toothpaste options out there, but my number one recommendation is Fat Lab toothpaste. It's a little dusty for me, but it's definitely not a scam. It's approved. This mouthwash is designed to freshen your breath up to 12 hours. Lots of people are loving it on Tik Tok, so I
had to give it a try. I have an adult and kid version. This product is created by a dentist, so the formula is pretty good. They use no dyes and sodium chlorate, which helps neutralize the bad breathcausing compound straight at the source. It doesn't burn at first, but then it creeps up on you and it stings my cheeks. When I check my bread, I get a perfect score of zero. Now, for the kids mouthwash, it contains fluoride, which is great for kids that are prone to a lot of cavities. M. This mouthwash tastes incredible and strengthens my teeth. Just be careful not to swallow it or else you'll be calling poison control. Both these mouthwashes are fantastic and dental digest approved. But their toothpaste is
a scam. It's got a good formula and it doesn't live up to the mouthwash hype. Their toothpaste tastes like straight medicine. And for that reason, when I brush with it once, I never want to brush my teeth ever again. It's not just me. I gave it to a lot of other people and they also agree it doesn't taste good. Just stick to their mouthwash. Most dentists would recommend this toothpaste, but I'm going to be that one dentist that does. And it's not because I own my own toothpaste company. It's just because this toothpaste genuinely tastes so bad. I never want to brush my teeth ever again when using it. So, I toss it away. This is a whitening strip that's enamel safe and whitens without
peroxide, so it won't make your teeth scream. These whitening strips actually have a pretty good taste to them, and it's probably because I use sage and lemon oil. No gunk left on my teeth, and they're already looking whiter after one use. These whitening strips are fantastic if you want a gentle whitening effect without the peroxide. Definitely not a scam. They're approved. This is Cocoa Floss. It's an expandable dental floss that cleans in between your teeth. Fantastic. It's an expandable dental floss. Not only does this floss clean incredible, but it also comes in delicious flavors, so it'll actually get you excited to floss your teeth. If you don't know how to floss properly, let me show you how.
Pinch, twirl, pull tight, gently slide in. Hug the floss around the tooth, sliding up and down on both sides. You want to make like a C-shape with the floss. And then once you're done, pluck it out, rotate on one side, and slide from the other so you get a clean strand of floss every time. Cocoa Floss is the only floss that I used for the past 6 years. It's definitely not a scam. I love this product. not a gimmick. It's a great product if you struggle to floss. Next up is another teeth whitening product, but this one's approved by Kim Kardashian and uses the same purple technology we've seen before. This is High Smiles V34 Color Correcting Serum, and it makes brushing fun but messy and actually makes your smile brighter pretty quickly. Nice. This product only offers short-term whitening, so depending on what you're looking for, this could either be a scam or a great product. It's a scam if you want whiter teeth for tomorrow, but a great product if you're about to take some school photos. Next up, we got a dental tool from my office. This is a sonic scaler.
It's designed to break up hard plaque that your toothbrush can't clean. It's not an easy tool to use, and if you use it wrong, you can seriously damage your gum, or even worse, chip a tooth. This is a great tool to clean your teeth. If you're a dentist or dental hygienist, you should definitely not buy it, unless if you want to permanently wreck your smile. This is tooth armor. It's a product that a lot of parents are saying save their kids smile, which is a dangerous claim because they're claiming it can reverse cavities, which is definitely not true. It contains nanohydroxy appetite, which is great at strengthening the enamel and can help remmineralize early cavity lesions. But
once the cavity is so large that you can see it, it's beyond repair from nanohydroxy appetite. You need to go see your dentist. Tooth armor repairing cavities. Total scam. I just started using some new funky hippie toothpaste that you would actually probably like. Boa. Is it white with A GREEN CAP? YES, LOOKS LIKE JOE ROGAN likes Bokea toothpaste. Bokea toothpaste is another nanohydroxy appatite toothpaste that can strengthen your enamel and soothe your gums. But unfortunately, it's lacking an ingredient that can help neutralize bad breath causing bacteria. This is a good toothpaste, but this is an even better toothpaste. On top of what Bokeh has,
FatLob also has sciencebacked ingredients that's proven to help freshen your breath and whiten your teeth. And that's why Fack Blob is the better purchase over Bokea. Both are great, but just one's a little bit better. This is Hello Whipp toothpaste. While it may look like a delicious whipped cream, it's a super white toothpaste because it contains an ingredient called titanium dioxide, which has been banned in Europe since 2022, and it's an ingredient found in white paint that you paint on your walls. Since this product doesn't have a clean formula and just a basic mint flavor, I'm calling it a scam. This Kouging toothpaste is running a bunch of dangerous AI ads. Honestly, a lot of people are falling for it, thinking that
dental hygienists actually recommend this product. So, I had to buy the toothpaste to see how well it actually works. When I read the ingredients, it's actually not that bad. But they are using a super harsh foaming agent called sodium laurel sulfate. It's so strong it can cause canker sores and other skin irritation. Instead of using harsh foaming agents, toothpaste can use foaming agents made from coconuts, which is what we did in Backlaw. It's way more gentle and feels way better. Smells like sunscreen and tastes like foot cream. Watch what happens when I brush for a full 2 minutes. I literally have shaving cream on the side of my face. It's toothpaste foams up way too much and that's because of the sodium laurel sulfate. Tastes like
