Today, I'm surviving abandoned movie locations that I found on Google Maps. Like this entire city from Iron Man, every set from Stranger Things, and so much more. All of these locations were mysteriously abandoned. And right now, we're going to figure out why. So, make sure you keep watching until the end. Starting with War of the Worlds. This whole city was turned into a plane crash site for one of the most famous movies of all time. And since this one's at Universal Studios, we had to use our VIP special access passes and find this private trolley that took us to the set.
Let's go. 3 2 1. All right. OH, HE'S ON FIRE. WAIT, WHAT? What's happening? Did this just happen, bro? It's a movie set. This movie was filmed over 20 years ago, but everything is still here. And our goal is to find props from the movie or evidence to figure out why this set was abandoned. Bro, look at all the random plane parts just laying throughout. Oh my god, these wheels are so big. What's crazy is that all these parts are from the actual plane. It's almost like the plane crashed into a neighborhood and like just destroyed everything.
The plane must have hit the car. WO! DREW, IT'S OKAY. It's going to blow out. JUST GET AWAY FROM THE CAR BEFORE IT ACTUALLY BLOWS UP. OKAY. And that's not the only dangerous prop in this city. So many machines and parts were left turned on, and we have to figure out why. What the bathroom looks like when I'm done with it. But first, Drew decided to recreate his favorite scene from the movie.

Now that we got that out of the way, we got back to the search and that's when we found the first clue. Wait, what? Brent, War of the Worlds. This is from the movie. Wait, shut up. Oh, yeah. Look, crew. So, this what the crew had. Year 2004. It's been here for 22 years. Yeah. Look how dirty they are.
Ew. Y. Well, there's one clue, but we still have no idea why this set was abandoned. So, let's keep exploring. Bro, this van is completely crushed by this part of the plane. And so then it crashed into the buildings, but since it's a set, the buildings are facade. It's not real. Exactly. And that's when we realized that every single house in this town was one-sided and there was nothing inside. On this side, it looks like a garage to the house that was crushed by a plane. And on this side, it's the fake house. It's all fake. It's literally a hollowed out house just for the front looks of it. But not everything in this town was fake.
Oh, no. It's joking me. And after finding a few more clues, look at this walkie-talkies. Steven director Steven Spielberg. We finally made our way over to the crashed airplane. And this thing is massive. This is where the guy was walking in the movie. Remember that? Yeah. He was like climbing right over there. It almost feels like we're in the plane. I know. It's so weird. Like this would have been first class. And over there is where the flight attendant would sit.
Oh, she definitely wouldn't have survived the landing. No, definitely not. Okay, but now that we've seen the entire set, it's time to fly to the next movie location. Wait, fly. I am not flying after I just saw what this plane was. Let's go. Okay, let's head over to Hawkins County for the next one. But keep in mind, these places only get more and more dangerous. And right now, we're going to see why these three abandoned sets are still here even though the show has officially

What? After that, we found a few more props from the show. But before we head over to the Stranger Things lab, we have to check out one final room in this house. This is like too realistic. Like, this is freaking me out. And as if this place wasn't creepy enough already, Dom decided to do this. Dude, they're all over. They're all over THE ROOM, BRO. THIS OH MY GOD. WHAT? What are you doing? What? You guys actually got so scared. No, we didn't. Okay, we should actually leave this house before someone catches us and we get in trouble. is where Eleven got her powers in the show. I'm kind of scared to go inside. But we have to go inside. I feel allowed to. No, bro. It's been abandoned ever since they stopped filming the show. And we're going to be the first people here since. This place looks abandoned. Like everything is destroyed. It looks ransacked. This place looks destroyed, but it's actually on purpose because the lab got wrecked in the show. Or so we thought.
These look like the rooms that like 11 was in when they ran test. Oh my god. I didn't even know we'd be able to like get around like Oh. Uh-oh. Okay, guys. So, we got caught by the police. Like, it was open. The lab was open. We lost what we get, of course. And after a 30inute conversation with the police officer, we might be uh spend the night in Jordan. We made our way over to the next abandoned movie set. And since every location gets more and more dangerous, we had to have a professional on standby for this next scene. This next abandoned movie set isn't a movie, but it was a
Mr. Beast video where he trapped a contestant in a car with a bunch of money and it sank to the bottom of a lake. Wait, so you're saying that there could be a bunch of money at the bottom of this lake? Exactly. Do we know where it is? Well, based off the Mr. Beast video, it's somewhere at the bottom of the lake. No. Since this lake is over 100 ft deep, we had to buy professional scuba diving gear and equipment to make sure nothing bad happens when we're underwater. Anyone else nervous? Uh, no, not really. And the reason why we're not nervous is because Drew is the only one actually going scuba diving. So, right now, Dom and Drew are entering the water, and I

What's cool though is like, you know, none of it was CGI. So, they like literally used a real train, a real car, and like they actually did the stunt. real stunt men, too. Like, the people were actually in there.
This movie was in the '90s, and so they had no CGI and had no AI, so they just did it. But the only thing is that we have to find this. I don't even know where it is. And this railroad goes for miles. So, we have to hurry. Yo, we found it. A prison bus and everything, just like the movie. Oh my god. I'm shocked this is even here. Like, how could a Hollywood movie production just leave it? And that's what we're here to figure out. This movie was filmed over 25 years ago, and for some reason, they just left it here. And apparently, this place is also haunted. So, let's get searching for clues.

Wait, this was probably a sign they used when they were filming. Yeah, I mean, look how old it looks. But now that we've searched this entire bus, let's go take a look at the train wreck. Oh my god, dude. This bus is destroyed completely. Dude, they still have caution tape on it. This is the exact spot that the train hit. Like, this where all impact happened.
Yeah, you can't fake this. Okay, you actually need to hit it with a train. What's crazy is that if we didn't know anything about this movie and we came across this in real life, we would think that it's an actual train crash. So far, this movie set doesn't seem like it's that dangerous anymore. But that's when we found this. Look at this. What is that? It's like a little cross. Wait, why is that there? You think someone died on set here? That's what's hard to decide is like what's movie and what's not.
Yeah, it's probably just a movie problem. All right, now this place is starting to feel a little creepy, but it just kept getting worse. Wait, Caleb, watch out, bro. What the WHAT IS THAT? All right, moment of truth. Is it open? Oh. Holy crap. There's no way it's open. This is dangerous. This can't be safe. Oh my god, dude. Look at how rusted this is. Wait, what the What is that? It's a fake city that's been in almost every Iron Man movie. And there's been rumors that they haven't gotten rid of it because they're secretly filming a new Iron Man movie. And right now, we're going to find out if that's true. Wo!
This place is massive. Why would you just abandon it? Holy crap. All of these are facads. Like everything is completely fake. Wait, no. This feels like a real town. This doesn't feel fake at all. Even though everything looks real, none of it is. So, our goal is to find any actual clues that might be hidden in this city. Wait, do you see this door open right here? Oh yeah. Hello. And you can see he looks way younger. So this was definitely like 20 years ago. Yeah, this place is a total mystery. Some areas look brand new while others haven't been touched in 20 years. Let's just stay here for just a second till he like goes away. Okay. We've already got caught by the police once in this video and we cannot let that happen again. So after the security walked away, we made our way over to the most famous spot here. Wait, Brent, this is where Iron Man landed right here. Oh my god. No way. And then he punched the guy. Flying up top and then he blasted someone from like over here. Like he went like this. Wait, we're recreating the movie.
Guys, there's bullets on the ground. What? Wait, it has to be from Iron Man cuz he was blasting all the people that were shooting guns at him. I thought the guns were fake. They're actually shooting them. I don't really want to stick around to find out. So far, we've only found these bullets and those behindthe-scenes pictures from old movies, but we still haven't found any evidence of a secret future Iron Man movie. Stark Industries. Shut up. Wait, this is a Jericho missiles from the movie. You hold it. Oh my god. Wait. Uh, it's not like a live missile I'm holding, right? That's not going to explode.
I hope not. It feels pretty real. Okay, just put it down. But since we don't know if these missiles are from a secret movie or not, we got back to searching and that's when we found this. What? Well, if the security guard is still here, he definitely heard that. So, let's hurry up and find the last clue before we get caught. This building looks so familiar. Okay, this confirms that there really was going to be an Iron Man 4.
I feel like we're not supposed to be looking back to the beginning. And since we don't want this video to get taken down, we put that back where we found it. But then we discovered something that changed everything. Wait, what is this right here? Coroner, Department of Medical Examiner. What does that mean? It's probably another prop for like the movie. Date of death, June 7th, 2021. What? Yeah, it's probably why they cancelled the movie. That makes so much more sense why this is abandoned. That could be a huge clue. Let's just find our way out of here so we can move on to the next location. Okay.

After explaining what we were doing here, he let us off the hook. But now it's time for our next and final movie location. And this one is by far the scariest. This next abandoned movie location is the Winchester mansion from the movie Winchester. Yo, wasn't this based off like a true story? Yeah, they didn't need to build a set for this. They used the actual house.
Bro, that movie was so creepy. No one lives here, right? No, it's been abandoned for 100 years. Ever since you died in the house. Okay, if I get cursed, I'm blaming you right now. It's been abandoned since the movie. But how are we going to get inside? Well, we got to talk to the owner. I think that's her. Hello. Hi. Hi, guys. Hi. This is the current owner of the house, and she only had one piece of advice to give us.
I just have one thing to say. Don't go in the basement. Wait, why? What's in the basement? What does that mean? Good luck. Okay, thank you. Good luck. I don't like the way she keeps saying good luck. Like something bad is going to happen. What's crazy is that it gets dark in 20 minutes and the electricity in the house doesn't work. So, we're going to be in the pitch black. Not if we crank this out in 20 minutes. Let's just go fast. This house has over 160 rooms and was designed like a maze. And right now, we're going to be some of the first people to ever step foot inside after the movie. Wo! This is the exact same
front door as the movie. Wait, what? So, here's our plan. We're going to search as many of the rooms as we can before the sun goes down because we do not want to be here when it gets dark. Wait, do you guys hear the floor? It is so creaky every time we take a step. We're not going to like fall through the floor, right? No, we're we're fine. Okay. And that's what we thought. So, after checking out a few more rooms, you know, when a place has one of these that the place is haunted, we made our way to the second floor.
Do you hear how creaky the stairs are? We might fall through. Oh god. Oh my god. This house is not stable. I don't know why, but like the second floor seems scarier than the first. Wait, this is getting so much creepier. The second floor is where the real mystery is. Miss Winchester kept building more and more rooms every year because she believed the house was haunted and she wanted to confuse the ghosts. This house is literally a maze. I have no idea where we are. Like these are a different set of stairs. These aren't even the stairs that we just took. This whole room is like unfinished. What is this though?
I think it's because she never ended up finishing the house when she died. Yeah, this might have been like the room she was like working on. This entire corner of the house was never finished. And for some reason, it felt even more haunted than the rest of this place. Okay, this seems like where they had some rituals or something not good. 1800s or something. Dude, why would you do that?
Just summon the ghost. What it's about? Everyone knows not to ring bells in a house that's haunted. Stop. Why did you do it again? After that, we found one of the strangest rooms in the entire house. What is going on here? Oh, what? Dude, staircase down, staircase that way, staircase up. There's a staircase going up, too. Look at another staircase. If I was a ghost, I would get lost. And that's when Caleb remembered that he brought his ghost detector. All I need to do is press this button, and if it beeps, then we know there's ghost.
Ghost? No. Okay, do not call them. Okay, so far the ghost detector is not picking up anything. So, this is creepy. What makes this even worse is that now the sun has set and it is officially dark and we're in this house by ourselves. Just us. And that's what we thought. But now that the sun has set, it's time for us to check out the basement. What the is this? This has to be the basement, bro. Oh. Oh, hell no. Do you see that? Oh my god. I don't know where that is. Okay, Drew, you first.
Oh my god, it's freaking cold down here. Shut up. It's like freezing. Wait, it's actually cold. You know what they say? The colder it is, the more ghosts there are. Brother, can you come bring your light down here? Oh my god. We took three steps and the ghost detector already went off. Sign. Oh my god, bro. What is this? Oh my god. It's the elevator. Look at this. What? Oh, you can see up. Look. So, this goes to every floor of the house. What's weird is like why is the elevator like on like the basement level?
Shut up. Get me out of the elevator. Get me out. Dude, the elevator's freaking haunted in here. The second we enter the basement, the thing won't stop going off. Okay. The entire basement is creepy. But this next room is definitely the weirdest one in the entire house. The whole actual is that what the Oh my god. Shut the Look at that. The entire bedroom is upside down. This is the bed. How is the alarm clock sticking on here? This room was definitely scary. But after checking out the rest of the basement, this happened. Where are we?
Okay, bro. If this house is haunted, they're like down here. Like, this is the spot they'd be. Guys, this wasn't in the movie. What was that? Did you just hear that? Is that the door? No. Stop. Brent, wait. What did you hear? The door. Like the basement door. Like, we're trapped in here. No, bro. I don't even know where to go. It's up here. Brent, what? Brent, wait. What the heck? Oh my god. It's actually locked. It's locked. We're locked in the basement. We actually have chills right now. We need to find another exit. Okay, there has to be another one. Wait, have we been this way yet? Okay, where's the exit? I don't And after a few more minutes of panicking, we finally found another way out of the basement. GUYS, GUYS, RIGHT HERE. LOOK. Door open. OPEN IT. OH, THANK GOD. WHERE'S THE FRONT DOOR? OH. UP THE STAIRS. Oh, the door. GO, GO, GO. Oh my god. crap.
