Bron Breakker is unlike any NXT superstar we've seen in recent memory. He's truly a rare breed. It's like that house at the end of the corner that's got that dog that you don't wanna go that route. When you're getting off at the bus stop, you wanna get off at the next stop. You do not wanna do anything as far as going pass that house. We talking about no bread, no water, just meat. (upbeat rock music continues) (motorcycle buzzing) (crowd cheering) (upbeat rock music)
And his opponent, Baron Corbin! Corbin is not taking his eyes, as he rides down to the ring to take on Breakker. This is a fight both these men need to have though, right? That Lone Wolf, you say need, Vic. I say this match was, uh-oh. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. This match was. (Vic coughing) This match was necessary, Vic. I'm talking about to separate the men from the boys. As you saw Corbin going around, there is some extra security ringside because these two fought all around the arena this past Tuesday, even broke through the wall into the office of Shawn Michaels.
(upbeat rock music continues) It's about to get busy, man. Oh, yes, this is two grown-ass men about to fight. Cannot stand each other. Had to have separate entrances into the arena earlier today here in Bakersfield. Oh, yes. Get some, want some, but you better be big enough and bad enough to take some. And the badass Bron Breakker, I did not, I can't believe the way we're starting things and right off RIP. Vic, Vic, Bron Breakker is on his own island right now. He's not thinking about anything other than going out there and creating his own destiny, Vic, and I love that. I love, oh, yes, that's what I'm talking about. I told you he didn't care about the security. Back up. These two haven't even gotten in the ring yet.

(wrestlers grunting) Sorry for the technical difficulties. when Baron Corbin did the senton, bouncing off our table, knocked some wires loose, it's Corbin, into the cover, hook of the leg, and Bron Breakker able to kick out at two. (Bron yelling) Book, can you hear me? I'm good. Can you hear me? Yeah, I can hear you. Finally we're back, and a big clothesline by Corbin. (chuckling) What a way to start No Mercy. Yes, indeed. Baron Corbin came back here to NXT to show these young guys in that locker room what it means to be a real man, and I love that.
Take another look. Just feel this impact. (wrestler grunts) Right to the throat. And look, you bring up a good point because Baron Corbin came back. He said the locker room should want his respect. Some superstars have, Bron Breakker has not, but he believes Bron's heinous actions towards Von Wagner, that was done to gain his attention, but right now all the attention is on the strike of Bron Breakker. Bron Breakker just dropped the hammer right there, but going back to that situation right there, you think Baron Corbin came out there for that, Vic? That what you think?
Let me tell you something. Those are his words, Booker. Look it, Baron Corbin is the master manipulator. He wanted a piece of the action. He wanted to perhaps ride on the coattail of this young man, Bron Breakker, and he didn't have any of that. That's what that was all about, man. These two, the definition of AI, I don't mean artificial intelligence. I'm talking about Alpha Intensity here tonight. They both have that alpha mentality going out there being the top dog here in NXT.
The thing is, who's gonna walk out tonight here at No Mercy having that title, that moniker? Oh, yes, we're gonna find out tonight. Bron didn't run to Corbin. Bron Breakker just tried to run through Baron Corbin. That dog, Vic. There's that dog in this young man and I love it. Ever since he was a little bitty boy, Vic, I'm talking about Pop Warner, High School, College, he's always been that guy that's been testing himself and now tonight the ultimate test.
Right now the ultimate test, but what is on the mind of Breakker? Breakker does not leave his feet often. Yeah, we're in the high rent district right now, dog, I love it. Corbin trying to fight back out, a little bit of separation, able to just get Bron off his feet, but Bron climbing the ladder, the Frankensteiner. Super freaking Steiner. And turning right around. I've seen this. Oh, look at the strength. Bam! That has won Bron Breakker the NXT title multiple times, but tonight it couldn't keep Baron Corbin down.
The torque right there in that powerslam, Vic, I wish we could see it, beautiful torque on the hips right there from this young man, Bron Breakker. Corbin couldn't even get back to his feet. I mean, this fight, while it's not necessarily in a grocery store, obviously, it's getting out of hand a lot like when Stone Cold took you up and down aisle one through seven here in Bakersfield. Get your ass whipped. You're gonna leave that alone, son. Corbin right back in and ooh, this has been a fight from the start. And I wanted to ask you this early, with Baron Corbin coming into this matchup, would he wanna make,
no, he wants to teach Bron Breakker a lesson, and there he is, he's saying, "Bring it." Is he gonna be able to teach that lesson tonight? He wanna test this young man here, Bron Breakker. He wanna see if he's really ready for that next level because you gotta look at a man like Corbin. He's been to that next level. Oh. He's the man that retired an Olympian in Kurt Angle. You gotta love that, Vic. Well, I know what you're bringing up.
Look, people forget how Bron carried NXT. It isn't sort of, wait a minute, into the cover, hook of the leg, and Breakker able to kick out. People forget about how Bron carried NXT, but isn't that sort of what happened to Baron Corbin? He's upset with the lack of respect, people forgetting about his titles, the King of the Ring, the WrestleMania moments you just brought. That is what happened to this man, Corbin, but a man like Bron Breakker, I think he forgot that moment too. He forgot about carrying anybody.
He's thinking about himself and that's why he's having- Oh, nice takedown now. Love that. Maybe looking for the Steiner. Here we go, he's close, he's close. Sit back even though using that frame, that strength and able to get to the bottom rope. Look, also the other thing that really angered someone like Baron Corbin was he was sick and tired of hearing there's no more of a sure thing than Bron Breakker.
Yeah, I mean, Bron Breakker had a lot of hype, man. Everybody's about Bron Breakker this, Bron Breakker that. When he's gonna move up to the main roster. Let me go down here and show this sucker that he don't got the goods. That's what it's about, Vic. Bon Breakker continuing to fight, continuing to pummel Corbin, trying to come back, swings wildly. And then, oh! Yeah. That was not just a Deep Six. He did an extra rotation for almost a Deep 12 into the cover by the arms and no, wow. Couldn't get the hard cover though.
Couldn't get enough. Take another look at it. The momentum of Bron Breakker, the speed, the force, the torque carried around, planted perfectly. Booker, though, but to your point, Baron Corbin was not able to get his full weight across the upper body of Bron Breakker. I think that was the one thing right there. He didn't have the momentum to actually get that leg hook. If you could look at the deep hook with that second leg, it definitely could have been over with right there.
(crowd chattering) (wrestlers grunting) (crowd exclaiming) Right back in, this slugfest continuing between these two superstars. Bron Breakker said he's meaner than evil, stronger than most, going up against Baron Corbin, who just kicked Bron right in knee. Answers back with a flash knee under the jaw. Corbin wants to burn bronze ship here tonight. That little inside shot there by Baron Corbin, you can call that a cheap shot.
You can call that taking the easy way. That's what this thing is all about. It's about showing this young man Bron Breakker that he don't got it just yet. I think Corbin was looking for End of Days. He was countered though by Breakker, who was able to land on his feet, and now Breakker again going down, able to take Corbin down. Referee had to run all the way across the ring, was out of position, but almost a near fall. I'll tell you right now- Excuse me, it was a near fall.
Bron Breakker could have got that in the middle of the square circle, could have got that deep hook, could have been over with, but right now, it's time to let it all hang out, son. It's time to let it all hang out. All the training, all the years, all the pain, this is all about right here. I feel bad for Derek Sanders from the start of this match just a moment ago, he's trying to stay out of the way in his own right. There we go, momentum. There's the speed. There's the momentum, and, oh, there's the sudden impact of Bron Breakker. (wrestlers grunting) Whoa.
(crowd exclaiming) What is going through the mind of Bron Breakker? What do you think is going through his mind? Oh, evil intentions. Breakker running in. (announce desk crashing) (crowd exclaiming) NXT, NXT, NXT, NXT, NXT, NXT, NXT.
(Bron yelling) Booker, are you kidding me? I'm good, I'm good, Vic, I'm okay. I did care how you were. I'm okay. I'm okay, Vic. I'm talking about Bron and what he's about to do to Corbin, spear! (crowd exclaiming) Corbin out on his feet. He's gotta be in disbelief. What a spear, Vic. All the momentum, all the speed. It's over! And now, Bron Breakker looking for the finishing touches to earn his own respect. Oh, here we go. Let's see. What the hell is he doing? That's Mr. Stone.
It's Stone. (crowd exclaiming) What the. To your point, what's he doing? Corbin, back to his feet, catches Bron. End of Days. One, two, three. (hand pounding) (bell dinging) (crowd cheering) (upbeat rock music) (singer vocalizing) Here is your winner, Baron Corbin! Well, Mr. Stone with a smile on his face, and we know why, after what Bron Breakker did weeks ago to Von Wagner. (upbeat rock music) (singer vocalizing)
