Fortnite's next season looks incredible as we're entering a month-long mini season with a brand new battle pass and crazy new changes as I'm about to tell you everything I know with the overall theme connected to One Piece. If you don't know this, it is quite literally the biggest anime of all time. It's all about Luffy and his crew searching for the One Piece treasure. With the recent Netflix live-action series and with over a thousand comic and anime episodes, there's a lot of hype around this collaboration. But let's start with how on earth are they going to come to Fortnite? How does it connect to the story? Well, throughout the season we've been given free loading screens slowly explaining what's happening with the story and hinting at
the start of this mini season. With the key to defeating Geno lying in this small silver key, which is the exact same design but in Peeley form of the One Piece logo. In-game quests keep on talking about the fact that we're missing one tiny piece of fragment of the zero point and saying how we must go ahead and try and find this missing slither. With the story lining up perfectly with the hunt for that one piece of treasure within the One Piece anime. There's also been One Piece cosmetics added to Rocket League, which is always an early hint of them then coming to Fortnite. The teasers have already began in-game leading up to the start of next season with a giant treasure chest on the island. You may
have seen it slowly downloading. It's getting more and more complete and entering the island to bring us into the next season. It will soon start to play its own sound like seagulls, wind, and other pirate themed sounds. You can literally visit it right now and it will start glitching your screen a little bit as you get close to it and lines up with a pre-build up to the Simpsons mini season last year when Bart's treehouse slowly grew on the map. When it was fully downloaded, a little countdown appeared above it and the same thing will be happening with this chest counting down to November the 1st when its one-month mini season will begin. And as soon as that countdown hits zero,
make sure you're here on the channel as I'll be showing everything that comes out of this treasure chest and everything that we're going to be getting when the season starts, which we can already take a look at thanks to some real-life teasers. Spotted all over the world around train stations, metro stations, you can start to see Fortnite officially teasing the season with a llama and skull and crossbones logo. It looks to be a dedicated anime pirate theme, bringing in Luffy from One Piece as well, but also original characters anime-ified as well. Skins in these teasers give us an early glimpse at Hope, Jonesy, Evie, Oscar, and more with the text saying, "Have you seen the
treasure? Join the hunt." Now, it's not only One Piece and anime characters that are coming for this one piece of treasure that's arriving on the Fortnite Island. This treasure chest is causing a multiverse-wide treasure hunt that will see lots of different characters and celebrities even arriving. One Piece and the One Piece team are one of them, but there's also celebrities like ASAP Rocky who's had his own teaser, Lil Uzi Vert, and recently Hatsune Miku, all with their very own flags representing their own like pirate team that are hunting down this treasure as they will compete against each other to try and get it.
The official teaser video, which you can see on screen here, introduces a character that is essentially brought this treasure to the island and has created this hunt that everyone is going on and is like the games master. We don't know which face lies under that mask. Some people are saying it could be Mr. Beast running this competition. We don't know at this stage. It lets us know that this season, the collaborations, the anime characters, and the hunt for this treasure is way bigger than we initially thought. It starts to piece together an early look at the battle pass. It's a little underwhelming, but is in line with what Fortnite have done recently like for the gaming season we're in, the key art
showed so many gaming characters, and then only Sonic ended up being in the actual battle pass. It looks kind of similar, where the battle pass will contain most of the original skins in the anime style, and then we're hoping that Luffy will be the main collab skin in there. Meaning Epic Games will be saving most of the collabs and other skins to the item shop. I guess that's where they're making most of their money. It gives us a cool lineup, but just to set expectations, it will almost definitely not be an entire collab lined up or entire One Piece battle pass. But when it does go live, I like to gift battle passes to you guys, the viewers.
A lot of you don't have the crew or get access to the battle pass. All you got to do is go ahead and click that subscribe button. YouTube has just added a really cool little animation when you click it, actually. So go ahead, click subscribe, and pay attention to my videos, as I'll be gifting subscribers the new battle pass when it drops. So get excited. There's also a very blurry version of a new map that people have been stitching together. Some people have been theorizing that this map will actually contain parts of the old chapter 5 and chapter 6 island merged together as well. One of my favorite theories is that the island will actually look like the One Piece logo. That's not confirmed, but it would be
incredible if that happens. This season only lasting 1 month, Fortnite can do whatever they want, make things as crazy and as different as they want before we then jump into chapter 8 afterwards. So a crazy-looking island could happen, just like it did with The Simpsons. Think you got a closer look at the latest free loading screen that you guys may have glanced over when you logged onto Fortnite after the last update. You can see that treasure chest in the picture with Sloane waving goodbye to both Hope and Jonesy as they rift into the new season riding a barrel, which people believe Luffy's actually inside. And again, connecting back to One Piece. On the island right now, Geno's portal
in the sky is opening up to some very dark and evil world that he's trying to pull into the world of Fortnite, but I think we're somehow going to take that over. Rather than his evil world come to Fortnite, we're going to end up in the pirate themed anime One Piece world. Fortnite are already hiding little hints even in the item shop. We recently had a shop tab that literally said one more piece instant aura. I mean, that is so obvious. They've even put the anime legends pack into the item shop for the rest of this season. But what will actually change? If it's going to be a pirate theme, we need pirate ships. The very first time we had this was all the way back in the chapter one island. I
absolutely loved this pirate POI. It's in fact one of my favorite places to land. So, adding flooded areas to the map and the ability to actually drive and mess around with these pirate ships would be huge, really fun, mini season gameplay changes. We've seen Epic kind of test this actually with the ship in a bottle, the Captain Jack Sparrow mythic, where you literally became a giant pirate ship and slammed through people. Could have been the early testing of actually adding pirate ships into the game, and they may even make them customizable just like vehicles. Leaked a while ago now is a brand new Fortnite cosmetics Fortnite hat. Now, if anyone
likes hats, it's definitely me, and my icon skin has one. More importantly, Luffy obviously has his straw hat. It is an iconic part of him and his crew's identity. That straw hat could be the perfect way of introducing hats as a cosmetic type. Give me the ability to wear that straw hat on any Fortnite skin you own. In the anime, devil fruits give you different abilities. Luffy has the gum fruit, which makes him super stretchy. These could be really cool mythic fruit items on the island that give you unique powers and power ups when you eat them. There's so many incredible opportunities for things to cross over here. But the collab won't just be One Piece. Leakers have been
calling this a One Piece season, but it seems now with the official teasers that have gone live in real life, it's more of a dedicated anime pirate theme with One Piece being the headliner collaboration, but loads more collaborations coming as well. One thing that we've sat on for a while now is a wave two of an IShowSpeed collab. Now, this may seem random, but he's actually a giant One Piece fan. He's even publicly asked Fortnite to add One Piece. He could be very happy with this. I believe his office has loads of One Piece stuff in it as well. So, we could be seeing a second wave of IShowSpeed cosmetics coming to the game to tie in with his favorite anime arriving in Fortnite as well, but opening up the
opportunity for loads more animes and collaborations to come to the game, filling out this season, making it truly spectacular. If we take a look at some leaks and in-game files, we've got a long list here of crossovers that could happen. We've got JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, where a weird family fights weird villains across tons of different eras. Death Note, I absolutely love this show. Basically, this kid gets a notebook where if you write someone's name in, it will kill them, and he uses it, but tries to not get caught as a really clever detective is trying to hunt him down and figure out who is killing all of these people. Incredible show. Demon Slayer, we've been talking
about this for so long. We thought it would come out with the demons in previous Fortnite seasons, it never did. It looks like they may have been saving it for this anime season instead. Spy x Family, we've got a spy, assassin, and mind reader kid pretending to be a normal family. I've also had this on my list of to watch, but haven't got round to it. I think if this comes to Fortnite, it could be a great push to finally watch it. Chainsaw Man, a poor kid turns into a chainsaw monster and hunts devils. Wow. Now, the crazy thing is, a leaker put out this image. I know it looks like a kid's drawing, but sometimes what leakers do is they see a leaked image or have a leaked image and don't want to be the person to leak it online cuz they could
get into a lot of trouble and they just draw it out for fun. On there, people think that they can spot the Chainsaw Man on this very messy drawing. So, this could be an indirect confirmation that this anime is definitely coming to the game. And when the official key art does drop, remember this hand-drawn image and let's see how close to it actually ends up being. Tokyo Ghoul, where a boy becomes a man-eating monster and has a hard time with it. I'm not surprised. If I started eating people, I would not be very happy. Dan da dan, a girl and boy discover ghosts and aliens are both real and then fall in love. These are all of crazy, crazy stories behind them. Neon Genesis, Fullmetal Alchemist. I think I
started watching that and it creeped me out so much that I just couldn't keep watching it, but it is meant to be amazing. And then Mongrel Star Dive, to be one of the games where if you purchase it from the Epic Games Store, they'll give you a free cosmetic. We've seen this in the past with other crossovers with other games. I think with the amount of anime fans and the amount of shows that this will be crossing, it could have an incredible reach, but it's not going to stop there. Although big changes are happening in Fortnite BR, we can't overlook that Fortnite OG will also be transitioning potentially to something huge. People have been thinking that we won't go from Season X into Chapter 2, instead could
potentially get Season 11, a brand new original OG season. Some changes with the current season is we're currently in Season X. Believing that Geno is actually messing with OG Fortnite and the scientist's lab can actually be found on the island even though it was never there originally when Season X first came out. There's really weird beacons that are appearing around the island, posters that we've never seen before. Fortnite have added an unmarked style for the Visitor skin. And although Fortnite OG doesn't have a lot of hype anymore, I'm so excited to see what ends up happening. And of course, this mini season's going to be short, only a month long, which means we're going to be
leaving this chapter and going into chapter 8 at the beginning of December, my favorite time of the year. I cannot believe it's coming around already. Winterfest. I still have the Winterfest lobby music playing in Fortnite from last year. How is it almost coming around that quickly? With it launching on December the 5th, that gives us just over a month to enjoy this anime season with huge changes, giant collaborations, new mythics, potentially new vehicles. But right now, the main thing to be paying attention to is that chest. And as soon as anything changes, you'll hear about it here first, and I'm so excited.
