Now, in this video I will show you what to say when you need to speak English in a restaurant. By the end of this video you will know how to order how to complain and how to pay in English. Look at the menu.
Fish chicken choose one. Eeny, meeny, miny, moe fish. I'm going to have the fish. And you? Okay, good. Now, look at the drinks. Beer, wine, water, juice. I want water. And you? Okay. Remember, you can say, "I want a beer, a glass of wine, a glass of water, or a bottle of water, or some water." And I want a juice. A juice. Mm. I want a glass of water. And you? Okay. Let's order. Can you call the waiter? You can say, "Excuse me, can we order?"
"Excuse me, can we order?" Okay. Um I'd like the fish, please. And you? You can say, "I'd like the ba I'd like the fish, please." Fish or chicken? Mm. Oh, to drink. Um I'd like some water, please. [clears throat] Look. Great. Or, you can just go, "Oh, thank you." Take the bill. Uh, check the bill. Okay. And pay the bill. Have you got any money? No. Don't worry. My treat. I'll pay. Um I'll pay by card, please. Okay. Here you are. [clears throat] No, that's okay. Thanks.
