Week seven in the NFL kicking off with a pair of 4 and2 teams. Patriots and Bears. Also have a game in Paris, Steelers, Saints, and a big week at divisional matchups. We have Ravens Bengals. We have Lions Packers. We have Cowboys Eagles. And we have the 5-0 Chiefs at the defending champion Seahawks. Can we black out the next part of this show? Some are calling it We got to embrace it. the worst week of so-called expert picks in NFL history. Oh, BMAC was 49 and two and somehow he was twice as good as Pete. I was the victim. TWO AND 12. I was the victim of some Omeos by the way, including one last night, including one.
You were You must have been the victim of a dozen Omegles. I mean, there should be an asterisk on the Eagles pick because when we made that pick last Tuesday, we were under the assumption that Jaylen Herz would be playing. Everything changed. The news came out with Friday. Our picks were in on Tuesday. Thursday. It came out Thursday. But our picks were in on Tuesday. And the Eagles at that time were favorites laying maybe two points or three. And instantly the line moved in favor of the Panthers. I think that should be an Astros. You know, I was going to bring in like a fake pile of doodoo for me this week cuz that's how bad I was. Terrible. You know, you've seen the mugs. They have mugs
with like um coffee mug. Yeah. Well, I don't want to say the word. Would it be cat poop? No, it would be like a fake pile of real. Yeah. Uh fake pile. It's in Chicago. Caleb Williams is back. He was back last week. Yeah. And so is Drake May. I mean, Drake May back. Three straight games where he's been great at the quarterback position. I love this. This is a great match up Thursday night. Man, I'm taking Chicago. I love Chicago. Seeing Caleb last week G gave me an extra vote of confidence that he can continue to build on. He wasn't hesitant. And the thing I love about
Chicago in this spot, the last seven non-divisional games, they've covered the spread. Look at some of the notable non-divisional games this season. Carolina covered the spread last week against Atlanta. Covered the spread. They've done a great job against non-divisional teams. I like them in this spot. Didn't you just do a video and I think it's going to come up. They're going to put it up soon on picking the Super Bowl winner.

I like when teams respond from tough situations and the Packers just destroyed them. Uh, and they responded to it. So, good for them. But not this week. I'm going to take the Patriots. I think the Bears will win, but I'm going to take the points here. I think it'll be really close. I like what I've seen from New England. I really do. I think they're rushing the passer. Elijah Ponder. Remember the name. Nobody knows who he is. Is that Christian Ponder's brother? No. Who you thought was going to be the greatest quarterback?
I never thought he was going to be the greatest quarterback of all time. I thought he would be pretty good though. I was wrong. Well, he went to Florida State. None of those quarterbacks are ever any good. But when you think about it, when you think about it, the Patriots are playing good defense. They are. Drake May is playing good offensive football. They didn't get anything from AJ Brown last week. He dropped the ball a couple times, but this is a game when I think the Bears defense, which is not that good, will be exposed a little bit. I think Drake May plays well here. Keeps him in the game. I'm not saying they're going to win the game, but I think it'll be close.
All right, that's the Thursday nighter. Kyler Gordon was great in his debut. Where was he? Where was he in the beginning part of the season? Nobody will say. He made up for it. Three sacks. Nobody will say, two force fumbles. It's a mystery. But he's back now. Well, they pissed him off the nickel corner, slot corner the entire game, and Atlanta had nothing no idea what to do with that. It was terrible. All right, Sunday morning, we have another game in Europe. This time it's in Paris where we're going to send Pete Prrisco to Paris this week. We're live from the streets.
Hard pass. Uh NFL says it's not changing anything despite the uh you haven't been following the news civil unrest out there. I don't think I want to go to Paris on a when it's not having protests. By the way, I don't This a bad week to go there. Bad timing here. But the Saints are taking on BMAX Steelers and Pittsburgh who dropped four spots in Pete's power rankings despite getting to four and two or three points. They beat a dominant good Tampa Bay team on the road and did it in realize dominant fashion.
Now you realize I Pittsburgh covering this spread. I love Pittsburgh. Uh was the spread set at what? Three. Uh I think it could be a close scoring affair, but I'm taking Pittsburgh because I'm loving what I'm seeing from Aaron Rogers. I mean, did you love what you saw for him for three quarters in that game? Well, heck, they were harassing Aaron Rogers, man. Uh my young uh was Walker. David Walker. Larry Foot told me about David Walker when he first laid out I told you about David Walker. Larry Foot actually coaches the kid.
Yeah, but I told you about him, too. You told me before listen to me. You don't Okay. What I guess Pete told me before you told me, but he said Walker was going to be a baller. He mentioned a little bit of James Harris Harrisonish to him because he's not a tall pass rusher, but he plays with great leverage. He has a motor. I went there in May last year and they and the general manager told me about him and I said really and he got hurt. Remember he tore his last missed all those season came back. Yeah, but he's but he did a great job. They did a great job for three quarters in harassing Aaron Rogers. when Aaron Rogers found his rhythm, he was battle tested. He pushed the football
down the football field and he just created magic with Germaine Bernard, right? So, I love what they have going on defensively. I think they're going to put Tyler Shuck in some compromising positions. And their last 11 games, they're eight and three ATS. Quietly, they've been covering the spread in the last 11 games. I love the Steelers. Yeah, I'm on the other side here. I'm taking the Saints. Are you 0 and2 already to start the week off? I mean, there's no if there's any pattern to it, I'll be 0 and 11 to start the week. Saints fans are mad at you, by the way, cuz you said that they're done. I think they're done.
Over with you. Buried them. I Well, I bury a lot of teams. Sometimes I got to go dig them back up again. But we've done that before. I think the Saints will hang around in this game. I think this is this a lowercing game. I don't think, you know, the Steelers offense didn't look great for most of that game. And they were playing a backup quarterback, by the way. Let's not forget that. When they beat Tampa, it was a backup quarterback, an undrafted free agent quarterback, was he not?

And I think this week I think the Saints Well, we know the Saints can't run the football. The Saints don't run the ball, but they're going to get the ball to Camaro in that passing game, won't they? Two and a half point favorites at home. It has nothing to do about they've got the Bengals, but will they have Lamar Jackson? It's like what the third straight week where we're here
picking a game that we don't know if he's going to play. Yeah, we don't know. I think he plays this ball game, but will he be his normal self? I don't know. Ankle injuries are very tricky. Uh but I'm taking Cincinnati getting points divisional match. Here you go again. The thing about AFC North football, they're very observant. They know you hate the Ravens and pick Cincinnat. No, but just my intuition is telling me with this being a closecoring affair. Give me the team that's getting points. And oh, by the way, Joe Burrow, he doesn't mind playing against this Baltimore Ravens secondary. Jamar Chase,
Joe Burrow, they often times put forth their best effort when they play against the Baltimore Ravens. And I got a unique stat tied to Joe Burrow in his last 13 road games after a win. He's 10 and3 ATS. Is that count? Does that count after a by computer code on does that stat that was sent to you by the research department that does that have after a by week too? It has every no longer BMAC is now. Yeah. B trend. Yeah. Follow this trend. Yeah. Two and a half. But it doesn't say after a bye-week there by week. No. Okay. So they won by week. I think Joe Burrow is going to have a good day throwing the football. They're coming off a buy. Their defense has played much better this year, and that's the biggest difference in the Bengals. I think they find a way to win this game. I'll take the Bengals and the points. Okay, let's go to another AFC North team that BMAC doesn't like, nor does he respect.
The Cleveland Browns, who for the first time this season are favorites, right? They're favorites in Tennessee against the Titans. This is a got to have it game for Cleveland. If you're a different ball club, if the culture has changed there, you win this ball game. You win this ball game by any means necessary. I can care less about weather. I can care less about conditions. This is a got to have it game. And one thing that I really agree with what I heard Aaron Rogers postgame presser, he identified that last week
that game against Tampa was a must-win because of who they were playing against and who they had at quarterback. Now Cam Ward has more experience than a Jaylen Daniels, but he hasn't been playing good. Their offense hasn't been playing good. So if you're Cleveland with or without Ma Mason Grim, who I don't know if it's going to be in the lineup, you go win this ball game. Give me the Browns. Point blank. You get it. You get it done. They had 108 offense. 108 yards of offense after three quarters last week. Cleveland. 108. 108 yards. Now Tennessee's offense isn't great either. That's why I think this is going to be a really lowscoring game.
It's going to be ugly. But Jeffrey Simmons can wreck a game. The guy is playing defensive player of the year football and nobody is noticing because he's playing in Tennessee. this week. I think he keeps them in the game and they find a way to if they lose it's a point, but I think they might win this game. I'm gonna take Tennessee here in this spot. Yeah, this Todd Monkey cannot lose this ball game being first in his division playing against this team that finally won. But let me ask you this. Do you think the Browns being in first place is sustainable?
It five six weeks from now, are the Browns in first place? I wouldn't put any money on that, but after this week, they should still be in first place. Correct. Because of the team they're playing, but I don't think they're going to win this game. I think the Titans win this game. I mean, I mean, Vegas is telling you is basically a pickle. Titans haven't won back-to-back games in four years. And nor are the Titans very good, but I think Jeffrey Simmons is going to wreck this. Jeffrey Simmons wrecks this game this week. He wrecks it.
Okay. Um, Titans picked up their first win of the season last Sunday in Indianapolis and that led to the Colts firing GM Chris Ballard. And now, oh, congratulations. You get to face the unbeaten Vikings and Brian Flores's defense coming off a by-week. Yeah. I mean, you talk about asking for it, but sometimes when firings happen in a building, dead cat bounce. Yes. And not your dead cat, though. No. A dead cat bounce. You ever heard that? You never heard that? No. So, you've heard a wall-ally pimp, but you haven't heard that a dead cat bounce?

And he decided to go play for the Colts cuz he wanted to start and it worked out well for him financially. Is he playing any better than he did back then? No. Well, he was before the Achilles injury. He hasn't found his groove. You said this firing of Chris Ballard may wake them up, which is true, but they won't be woke long. They're not going to win the game, but you know what they're going to do in this game? They're going to give the ball to Jonathan Taylor a ton.
They're going to have to. But Minnesota, they're good against the run. But what's the when you play a defense that's active and athletic and attacks the quarterback and blitzes from all areas, the one thing to do is run it right out. Yeah. But the thing is about Minnesota, they're very stout against the Russian attack. And if that's the only option, I'm trusting Minnesota. They're at home. You're laying six and a half. I'm laying six and a half. I'm starting to really like what I'm seeing from Kyler Murray. Justin Jefferson should be healthier. Remember, he was dealing with that ankle injury. You potentially could get TJ Hawinson back
before he got concussed. He was playing lights out. Uh and Aaron Jones looked really good against uh New Orleans. So, I'm taking Minnesota. Uh I'm gonna learn you something here. BMAC. What you got? He's been playing really good football. He's managing the system well. And most importantly, he's protecting the football. And that David Bailey can go hunt. He can hunt. This is a matchup in the Jets favor when it comes to putting pressure on Malik Willis. And it's about that time. I know it's not cold up there as it will be later in the year, but it's about that time for the Dolphins where the season is almost going to be over. You have nothing to play for. It's almost like
finding out who will stick along for the future part of this organization. I'm taking the Jets. It's it's a unique spread, but I'm taking the Jets. Well, when the Jets played the Browns, that was an ugly, ugly game. And I think this one's going to be ugly, too. I mean, remember a couple weeks ago, the ugly as in the rain or is in the flow of the game? The flow of the game, the rain, the whole deal. I think this will be ugly. I think the Dolphins hang around. If you're going to give me more than a field goal, I just think Willis will make a couple plays with his legs. They play hard. One thing, one thing the
Miami Dolphins do, they play hard. It's not a good football team, but they got a lot of young players that are playing good football. You know, you look at this the secondary. Chris Johnson's going to be a good corner. Michael Rodriguez, Michael Taff has played well at safety. Jacob Rodriguez, the offensive line, Proctor, the guard, has been really good at left guard. I mean, I think there's a lot of good young players on this team and they come take the field and they play hard. That'll keep them in the game. I'll take Miami and the points. Wow. So, me and Pete, we're on opposite ends of a lot of these games.

Yes, they are not far from perfect on the injury report. They take on the Falcons coming up this week. All right, as we do every week, we pick every game against the spread. Here are some of the other 1:00 Eastern time games with the 49ers looking to stay perfect in Atlanta. The Panthers, division leaders in the NFC South, favorites at home against the Bucks, and the Texans looking for a third straight win as they are nine and a half point favorites against the Giants. All right, let's start with the 49ers game. It's another win, yes, but another injury to a star in Mike Evans, who sounds like he's going to miss some time. Might not be the entire season with the Achilles injury, but probably not going to play
this week. it makes sense for him to not play this week. You have an opportunity to play against a vulnerable team in the Atlanta Falcons. You got to travel from the West Coast to the East Coast. Allow Mike Evans to rest to be able to be at his best whenever he's cleared. But I'm taking the Atlanta Fals getting the points. One thing I know about Atlanta defensively, what we saw against Chicago, that's not who they are as a defensive unit. They've been better. They've been great against the run. They allowed Chicago to run the football. They allowed uh Caleb to run around, create time, but then they found a way to fight back in the fourth quarter to get necessary stops. I think that's more
of the team we will see, especially if you don't have Mike Evans. And also too, it was a learning experience for Atlanta. Get the football into Bon Robinson's hand. Yes. Like that didn't make any sense. Never run the ball in the first half. Remember, they only possessed it for about eight minutes or something. Yeah. Because they couldn't get any stops. But when they got the football, it was almost like they were fighting for points and the game had just started. I agree. So, I think they're going to make sure they emphasize and feature Bian
Robinson. And this line is a bit tricky, too. Also, Pete, when you look at San Francisco and what they've done outside of not covering this past Monday night, they've done a great job covering and they only laying three and a half, right? That's the They're only laying three and a half. That hook won't get me. We're not biting on that. No, we're not biting on that. So, give me Atlanta. I'm not biting either. I'm taking Atlanta, too. I think Atlanta's offense was bad the other day for the first half. They were terrible and they couldn't get off the field. This will be different. I think this is a short week and a long trip. That's a bad combination. I do think that the Falcons will give the ball to Robinson. He's
going to run the ball more. And not having Mike Evans will change the dynamic of the offense, but they're still going to score. And the Falcons are going to score cuz you know what this game is getting? Uhoh. See a bonus pick. There's a bonus pick there. You see 49 and a half. It can be loosey. You like the loose? They're four and a half point favorites in Arizona against
a Cardinals team. I don't know. I mean, they went in and beat the Rams earlier this year. They went and beat the Chargers as a double- digit dog, but between that, they were terrible, but they are dogs in this game and they're at home. And the Chargers or the Cardinals are dogs in every game. But the bottom line is this Broncos offense doesn't score enough points and to lay four and a half on the road. Are they expecting a defensive touchdown? Bo Knicks is not playing well. Look, the Broncos fans can get mad at me all they want.
They're getting real mad now. No, they can get mad at me all you want because but are they happy with the way their quarterback is playing? He's not playing good football. He doesn't look like the same guy and their offense is disjointed and until it gets going I have question. We love the defense. The defense is outstanding but a great spot. But you're laying four and a half on the road with your defense hoping they can hold the Cardinals from scoring what 15 points 10 12 points. If they scored 15 points 16 points they're going to cover that number. The Broncos getting to 20. They haven't got they don't score. So I'm taking the four and a half.
This is the game Bo does bow like things. This is his this will be his third game with Shawn Payeyton back as his OC. I think just the comfort would be more intact. Third times a charm. And JK Dobbins the rushing attack was more prevalent last week and defensively they looked like the old they look good on defense. Broncos defense. I'm taking the Broncos lane this four and a half. I think this is a get right moment for Bo Knicks where he looks more like the B Knicks that we saw before the injury and I think that toutelage of Shawn Peyton really helps his maturation
process. If they don't get this offense turned around, they're not they're going to be in big trouble and this is a matchup that they should get the offense turned around, right? The Arizona Cardinals defense has been in a flux. They played better last week against a divisional opponent. I'm not surprised. We know how divisional hate is, but this should be an opportunity for Denver to get back on that productive offensive trend in my opinion. So, there you have it, Broncos. I'm taking you lane four and a half. He isn't. I'm not. Show me more on offense. I got to see Yeah, we thought last week was going to be the get-Right game for the Rams against the Cardinals and we saw how that turned out. The Rams are also four
and a half point favorites on the road. They are in Vegas. This is a 4:25 Eastern time game and I was looking at the odds for the Rams to make the playoffs and it's it's almost even money now for the Rams to even get into the playoffs. It's not good when coming into the season they were the overwhelming Super Bowl favorite. They have a four game stretch that the schedule softens and I say that they just lost one last week and one of those is at Arizona by the way but you look at the schedule and you go okay well this is a time you got to make a little bit of run. They have to go 3-1 in the four game stretch. They have to. And it starts this week against the Raiders. This is not an easy game. And now Devonte Adams is out.
So you where's your passing game? I've said all along the biggest knock on the Rams for me has been a lack of speed. They don't run the ball with fast players. They don't throw the ball to fast players. They're good players, but they're not fast. And that allows a defense, and you know, BMAC, when you play a team that's not fast, it allows you to defend them differently. You can keep everything in front. Matt Stafford's not playing great football. Where are the Rams good right now? Somebody answer that question for me. Where? They don't rush the pass great. They don't cover well. They haven't tackled well.
The secondary has been a bright spot, but they haven't tackled well. Quinton Lakes missed a lot of tackles in recent weeks and they've had some issues tackling. So, where do they where are if you had to say this was the dream team, where is the dream part of this team right now? The quarterback's not to be determined. Yeah. Right now. Running out of time. Yeah. I'm taking the Raiders. I think the Rams can win a close game, which is kind of hard to fathom because you don't know who their kicker will be.
They still got special team issues as well, right? With the kicker being put on those guys off the scrap. No. Well, they've been trying to find Can't find him yet. Well, he got hurt. How long did it take to find him? Well, they'll get one, right? Uh but I'm taking the Raiders. And for Max Crosby, who was a bit quiet against Josh Allen, this is a different quarterback that he has to hunt. Josh Allen was going to move. Matthew Stafford is not moving like a Josh Allen. So, he's an easy prey when you talk about being a predator. So, I think the Raiders cover this uh the spread.
I agree. I don't think they win the game. I think the Rams win the game, but I think the Raiders will cover the number. I mean, his first few games didn't look that appealing. It was going to take some time for a rookie, though. You think the problem in Seattle is right now is there is they don't have a running back. It's the offensive line. Offensive line is part of the problem.
I think Pete's going to say it's Sam D. And the injury plague running back room is another issue. Okay. There's a lot of things at play. The offensive line, the guys you expected to take the next step like Gray Zable hasn't. Yeah. The Lucas, the right tackle, hasn't played as well as he did last year. A lot of these guys have gone in the opposite direction. So the line is part of the problem. Can't run the ball consistently no matter who's back there. Price, I mean, when Jaden Price was in there, he was actually doing some pretty good things before he got hurt. He gets hurt. Now
they can't run the ball. And that puts a lot of pressure on Sam Darnold. And when the pressure is on Sam Darnold, he is not responding. You know what he's doing? He's darnling again. He's looking like turning into a pumpkin. I mean, that Thursday night against Denver was bad. Those were two terrible throws in key situations, but he's thrown seven interceptions, right, since he's been back in four games. Drew Lock played much better than Sam Darnold with the same cast around the same cast. So that's alarming. There are concerns about Sam Darnold right now. So you taking Seattle?
No, I'm taking Kansas City. Oh, I'm taking the Chiefs. I think the Chiefs are growing up on defense right before our eyes. They have a lot of young players and delaying the corner has been really good. You know, Peter Woods had a half sack last week. Our Mason Thomas can rush the passer. Ashton Gelotti, the secondyear player, starting to flash. They're growing up. Steve Spagnola can call a defense. And I think that's going to give Seattle and Sam Darnold a lot of problems. I think both defenses will play well here. I think it's a lower scoring game. And I'm going to take the Chiefs in the points. I'm with the Chiefs as well, Pete Prrisco. One unique stat with Seattle because they're known to be such a dominant team at home. their last six

It's not college football where you're ranking them, though. No, but from a big picture status, we thought, oh, they beat the Rams and they went to Seattle one. Now those two teams are struggling. Are you surprised the Chiefs aren't the Super Bowl favorites at this point? And it's the 49ers despite all those injuries. No, the AFC's tougher. I think and I'll say this to get through with the Bills with the job the San Francisco 49ers have done.
Eventually, they will get more healthier. They will get healthier. You get Bosa back. You get Christian Kirk back. You get Deshawn Stribbling back. You get guys who are slated to come back this season. And Debo Samuel potentially could return as well. What this team will look like when that happens, you know what I mean? So, what they're doing now with so many guys missing has been marvelous. But when they will he get healthy? Wow. Look out. if that's a reality. Plus, look at their division. I mean, they've kind of locked couple more losses by those teams and they kind of lock it up. They got they don't forget

Obviously Jaylen Herz out for the season and uh not a good first impression of McKe, Tanner McKe in that game last week. Too long of a wind up. Yeah, he's got to tighten that up a little bit. It's slow. It looked slow. It looked really slow. Uh and again, there was this whole theory that they could get a second round pick or a third round pick for Tanner McGee.
You saw him play and he had played two games, don't get me wrong, but you saw him last week, he was terrible last week. He wasn't good. So, I think the week will do him wonders. I think he needed that week to get acclimated to being the guy. I think he plays better here. Their defense will keep him in the game. I think they'll hang around. Dallas's offense is not playing very well right now. You know, Dak Prescott did not look good. Their defense actually played better the last couple week at least last week against Green Bay.
