So, it's a pretty gloomy day outside, but my mind feels sunny. I feel good. I think it's because I've been incorporating this new practice that my friend recommended. He's like writing a book about like mental resilience. I asked him like, "What's like the number one tip that I can incorporate like immediately?" He essentially said that right when you wake up, spend 3 to 5 minutes really reminding yourself of what kind of person you'd like to be. Imagining yourself as like that best version of yourself and what that would look like. There's like a lot of roles that kind of circulate like it's being a good mom, a great co-parent, a daughter, a sister, a good friend, a good dog mom.
This like mental exercise has been just very rewarding. I've been enjoying it. So, I thought I'd share it. All right, let's go. Want to stay there? A few of you guys have been wondering where my bed sheets are from. They're from Brook Linen. I like to switch it up every couple of weeks just for a little refresh. This week we're going for a lovely forest green with that really pretty seafoam scallop inner sheet. It's nice. I don't think Cheeky wants to move. Luckily, I've made it a habit to not put my clothes just on the floor, but there's always like a cluster of clothing right over here. And for some
reason, when I film, I become very aware of this mess. All right. T workout set. What color should I wear today? I haven't worn this in a while. I feel like I always kind of dissociate when I'm putting on my gym clothes because I can't think too hard about it. I'm going to go to the gym. If I sit in bed for too long, that's when I kind of convince myself out of it. But this morning, I'm going to give Chiki a walk before we head to the gym.
We have the same last name. Oh, we do. We literally She's my sister. My mom lost her. My distant cousin. Yep. Oh, like in E. Oh my god, that hurts so bad. Like this. Oh my gosh. Something says that I should be blonde. I have this tendency and this wish to go platinum, but I just know that all my hair will fry off. This is the blonde that I aspire to be. But being blonde is such a commitment. You got to be in the salon every 5 weeks for hours at a time. I feel like whenever I wear my blonde wig, like a new persona comes out. And I feel like that is very appropriate and on brand for tonight because I'm going to go to the Gentle Monster Bratz popup
in West Hollywood. That's going to be really fun. The thing is, even though everyone knows, everyone that watches me knows that it's a wig, the people that don't know me will not know it's a wig. There is a learning curve when it comes to installing a wig. And I feel like now I've gotten to a place where I feel confident that it looks fairly realistic. Biggest giveaway for when you're wearing a wig is when your baby hairs show. So I want to make sure that all that is sllicked down. There we go. Whenever I wear this wig, I feel like Hannah Montana because in a sense that's how my life feels at the moment. Both the roles that I have, I am so fully
committed to. Like when I'm a mom, I am or at least I try my best to be the most present version of myself. Really slowing things down at his pace. And I enjoy that life. But when he's not here, that's when I get to go whatever mode I want, whether that's diving into work, seeing my friends, catching up, going out. The lifestyles definitely do seem like polar opposites. I've pinned my braids down and now I'm going to pop on my wig cap. You know, it's not a perfect shade match, but this is truly all I have right now. Let's flip this sucker on. Sweet. Glue the sides right over here. I'm using the spiking glue.
Putting a dollop right at these edges. There is like stronger glue available, but dude, that stuff is so hard to take off. That's like if you really want a head thrash or like at that point, you might as well just wear that wig multiple days in a row. Got this wig back in 2019 and I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. I've lost count how many times I've worn this wig and it's still in incredible condition. It's glued on. This is where I can really have fun styling it. Wig is attached to the head. And I just essentially straightened it out because I was like kind of like browsing through Bratz on Pinterest and a lot of them have straight hair. So, I thought I would just kind of give it like a blowout
look. Anyway, before I left, I wanted to show you guys my outfit. It's very simple, sleek. The top is borrowed by one of my best friends, Emily. And then the skirt is Sandy Leang. A lot of chrome going on in the event, so I thought I would just wear my silver Marge Sherwood bag. Gentle Monster just has the coolest collabs. Very considered. I feel like Bratz was more of like a yesified edgy Barbie. You'd like probably catch her at a rave or something. So, I think it's just such a cool collaboration. Truthfully, I could have stayed there till the event shut down, but I knew I had to rush on home because there is just like a couple of bits and bobs I wanted to finish with this video. By the time you're watching this, it will be

So, make sure to give it some love. or if you just want to catch up and you want to watch something in the background while you're doing dishes or eating or folding laundry or brushing your teeth, it's kind of a problem, you know, cuz I feel like before our phones, we just did this all this activity in silence or maybe we had like a the radio on or the TV on, but no, it's it's now it's my phone is with me pretty much everywhere. Only place I do not take my phone in with me is my shower. I had no idea that was a thing. Like that people watch YouTube videos in their shower. Like are you watching this showering right now? I don't know. No judgment.

The tin when you think like, "Oh my god, there's cookies." And you open it and it's just sewing material or just anything but the cookies. So, I'm actually going to save the rest for Lennin. There's three more left in here, but I want to save these for him so he can open it tomorrow. Oh my god. I wonder what's inside. Wow. So, it comes in this buttery soft case and it's a keyring so you can like attach it to your purse. Very functional. Oh la. Shut up. Wow. Oh my goodness. Incognito. Do not disturb. Matrix mode. So, I just wet the sides of my hairline as best as I could and then just let that dry because I just didn't have it in me to wash my hair and do that whole hair care routine. So, slick back hair it is. And I'm digging the clean girl look. Right now, I'm on my way to a another event. It's another
Korean brand actually. This is called Gloney. So, I didn't bring a fun drink on the road. However, I did bring Chomps beef jerky stick. These have been saving my life on the road. Sort of like I'm just like a truck driver that constantly needs snacks. I just keep at least like two or three in my bag in case I get hungry. I don't get hangry. I don't get upset. I get anxious. We're literally not moving. Looks like I'm going to be late to the event. I mean, I tried my best. I left an hour early.

I'm wearing one of them right now. I can already tell I'm going to be rocking this all summer. It's the perfect tube top because it cinches you in right here. It is tight, but that's what we want. Especially for something so boxy and rectangular, it helps when it's a little bit on the tighter end.
We've got this micro striped purse, and a really interesting colorway, brown and blue. And I also feel like it compliments my hair really well. A nice little detail they added is this secret pocket on the side. Would I be brave enough to store my keys in here? Not sure, but some extra change. This tank is actually swimwear, so I just need to pair it with like some black bikini bottoms. I think that'd be cute. I feel like a very straight bust line is trending right now. You can show off like some back cleavage if you wish. We have this very casual at home loungewear set. The print is just adorable. It's got like little strawberries, ribbons, flowers. Finally, we've got a bathing
suit, which I will not be modeling at the moment. I'll wear the top at least. Oh, I guess you could wear it with the shorts, too. That's kind of a cute cover up. I've come to learn that if you got a smaller bust, a triangle shape is going to look killer. If you're like belly button shy, you can just do a little high waist moment and that looks fine, too. racking my brain. Hm. Like what should we do this afternoon? And honestly, spending the day at the house is manageable, but it's so much easier when you're out and about. Then I wondered like what my dad was up to. And my dad has always like mentioned in passing that like, "Oh, you should bring Lennin to my work. It'll be so much fun." And like literally as I was doing my makeup, I was like, "I should just take him to my dad's work." Cuz I have literally never been there. And my son like loves Harvest. So I was thinking like, "Okay, that seems like a good way to spend the afternoon.
It is so gloomy outside. It's pretty demoralizing. But the good thing is the sun is going to pierce out in the afternoon and I need to take a little bit better care of my skin. haven't really been that consistent with vitamin C and it shows. I'm getting a lot more like sunspots and I'm like and I'm also breaking out because I'm about to start my period. Anyway, I was like, let me give it some extra TLC. So, I'm going to go in with an old favorite of mine. This is Skin Sudicles CE forIlic. This is like the big guns. This is like the best vitamin C serum that I've ever used. So, I just add a couple bits to the palm of my hands and I'm just going to press it in before I put my sunscreen. This is
just going to give me that extra layer of protection and hopefully help with my hyperpigmentation. Anyway, right now I am getting ready to go to a Wiggles concert. If you're a parent, you know exactly who the Wiggles are. Uh if you don't, they are basically like a musical singing group for children. And I think they're based in Australia. We're all going. It's going to be me, Ben, and Lennin. So, it's going to be a very, very special day. I'm going to want to get some cute photos with Lennin. So, I'm going in with my favorite foundation. This is Armani Luminous Silk. I can really tell this is hormonal acne cuz it's like all over my chin and my cheeks. Like I love to break out in
these areas. You guys, I can't really see on camera, but I can tell. I feel like I'm definitely missing some color in my face. So, going to go in with Kosa's blush is life in wavelength. So, with this, you only need like the smallest bit. Kind of like a watermelon pink. Yeah. It's like such a gorgeous rich burst of color. It's like perfect for the summer. Morning from Joshua Tree. We are here on our first family trip of the year. It's a full house, but spirits are high. We're feeling good. We're in this like gorgeous property out in Yaka Valley. It's by this company called Wander. It's like a home rental service. It's very similar to Airbnb, but all the homes are uniform in like the amenities, the service. Like this is a very smart house. I have been using my phone a lot to control like the temperature in the pool, the music in the house. It's uh even like checking in use you use with your phone. So, it's very like technologically advanced but also intuitive. But yeah, I'm going to give you guys a tour of the house in a little
bit. I think right now I just need to focus on getting ready. Traveling with a 3 and 1/ halfyear-old is just so much easier than traveling when they're younger. Well, there's like I mean it's easier and challenging in different ways. Like it's easier because like they're sleeping through the night, but it's a little bit more challenging because they can like just run around. So, luckily this house is pretty childproof. The only thing that's a little bit iffy is outside. Like the pool has a lot of sharp corners, but the adults outnumber the children in this house, so it's easier to keep an eye on them. It's like cool cuz I feel like I'm like simultaneously feeling like a little kid because I'm with my parents,
but also like an adult because I'm because I've also keeping an eye out on the kids, too. So, it's a really cool generational thing we've got going here. Lennon got to bed at like 9:45. I was beat. I was like, you know what? I'm just going to sleep now. I am tired. And I'm glad I did. So, yeah. I feel like I got some really good sleep. Also, the beds very comfortable. Not too squishy and not too firm. Just like right in the middle. Oh my gosh. That's That's too hard for us. No. Do Sammy, give her a kiss. Of
course. Would you like to be pet? He doesn't like his nose. I'm just going to touch him right here. Okay. Wow. He doesn't talk a lot. That's fine. That's perfect. to gorgeous a good morning everyone. It is our final day here. We're about to check out. We've got all our bags packed. But before we left, I wanted to do the little house tour because it's incredible. So, you walk in right over here, the living room space. As you can see, there was a lot of action here. It's great for kids. This is the kitchen. We had a lot of meals here. Since we're Korean, we cooked pretty much all our meals. Check out this view.
This is the kitchen area. They were fully stocked with everything. Like they had made in steel pans, which are my favorite. There used to be a ton of snacks here, but as you can see, we really tore into them. This is the room that Lennin and I slept in, which was so comfortable, sumptuous, queen-sized. Look at that. It looks unreal. Many hours were spent in there. The best time to go swimming in the pool was around 5:00 p.m. when the sun went over. This is the bathroom. They obviously stocked it with wander amenities. Uh we didn't use any, but had I forgotten something, this would have come in very clutch.
This is where all the kids are right now. It's the master bedroom again, everyone. And this is what the master bathroom look like. Huge showers as well. This is Ha. Hi. This is where my parents slept. This little corner room over here. Again, beautiful view of the pool. This was the darkest, most quiet room. That concludes the tour. We had such an incredible time here. I wish I got to vlog a little bit more, but you know how things get. Okay. All right. I'm being summoned. All right. Bye.
