good morning apparently that's how i should start all my videos so let's do it today we are going back to thailand so i got this suggestion i think i want to say it's an instagram dm or it could have been a youtube comment thank you so much um because apparently someone has already done this so this is not my original idea whatsoever but it sounded like a lot of fun where you um go to different places via google maps and also you gotta be on catwatch okay thank you so um i thought it would be fun if we revisited places i haven't been to for a long time but spent a lot of time there you know like budapest australia new zealand thailand which is going to be today's episode and before we jump into it real quick i'm going to be doing a
follow on live stream friday morning this go now wednesday so friday morning around 10 a.m i will set a schedule for the live stream and remind you on the community tab and instagram as well i thought it would be fun that we sit down have a coffee and re-watch some of my thailand vlogs and just kind of reminisce and have a good time it has been many years ali put on the screen the last time i was in thailand thank you darling okay so here is thailand and it's fun because we're gonna have some stars to go and um see and revisit some stuff i really want to start in chiang mai so let's go to chiang mai that's weird i know i didn't use stars throughout my whole travel thing ah well this is gonna be interesting then because i'm gonna now have to find
everywhere that i stayed what was the name of the apartment i stayed in let's start there oh luxury hoy cow that's the one there we go oh look at 21 pound while that a bargain in it that a bargain all right let's just grab our little mat alright you can go in there plop him down oh okay there it is that is it let me just get my bearings hold on wait no this is the end of the street this is the yes because we came here to look at uh the apartments here it was kind of a no bueno so is it down here a little bit did this is this just too high up oh god hold on where am i hey 50 meters that way thank you don't mind me sit down here it can't go down there it is and we can't go there excellent it was down there it was down
quality content all right so there it is we should actually re-watch that video on friday so that's where i stayed however now i know where i am let's go so this was a another place apartment block right here that we actually had some friends stay in nope this one yeah this one we had uh some friends that um stayed here um okay that's cool we come out to the main street now on this road the dome oh god something's coming back to me so when we were there down this street here they were building they're always building in chiang mai but on the right they were building but let's just first take a little now that was a good seven whoa what was this before maybe we should have done that i watch videos first to remind myself
anyway let's go to 7-eleven i mean there's one every few stops so not like we have to go far never have to go far in thailand to find a 7-eleven oh restaurant is this the mexican restaurant yes the salsa kitchen love that place you just didn't want thai food you want to mix it up salsa kitchen it's still there always exciting they're not exciting um a bit more expensive than anywhere else oh we got the shopping center up here oh the lotus hotel i'm sure we wanted to go in there just to use the pool but we did have a pool at luxury hoy cow so i didn't need to 7-eleven so that was my local 7-eleven when i lived in chiang mai there it is was this always here didn't come to this shopping center very much this is the old one
um we used to go to maya which is right at the bottom here i hear a cat why don't you tell me blakey we're in thailand you'd get beaten up by the cats in thailand trust me on that one okay i want to see what they built here so we've gone back down now what did they build what oh god snail white i didn't remember that this was it what no i'm sure this was like oh yeah completely like oh does this mean this is really old or did they just scrap all the ideas and start again yeah because wasn't this meant to be like a huge thing i don't know what it was meant to be oh may oh santos damn or was it further down wait hold on this was always a really long walk but you got used to it you definitely got used to it
coming all the way down here to go to the mayo center man there it is there's the big shopping center we all know and love her really good bars on the rooftop as well had some great nights up there look at her oh and here these have the food market i can't remember what night it was and then i got the best pad pie for like 50 baht and it was huge oh it's my favorite let's go in the center here hey girl hey and yeah the food market used to be all outside may i mean there's so many food markets that go on and chiang mai all over thailand really we get closer oh good times all right now what was this street called thank you should we go into the square i think we should go into the square oh should we go see anthony where's
anthony's bar it's not near here uh i cannot remember for the life of me okay let's go and drop ourselves right there yes oh yes beautiful i remember standing here eating a big tub of um jackfruit she knows how oh we're in i don't remember that many nonsense look at them beautiful how do i get out i'm sorry i did not pay my entrance fee oh no where am i sir i'm lost just in a back toy don't mind me i'm just i'm going around in a circle oh that's fun for me i am happy for myself hello it's amazing like how many so i forgot there's so much going on blue diamond oh by hand pizza we gotta go here i love how it's all about food my memory just takes me back to the best restaurants blue diamond
yes the breakfast club okay you can't see in it but oh my god so good now hold on which way i'm lost again by hand pizza it was the place we've we heard the loudest clap of thunder we'd ever heard in our entire lives every all of the servers dropped to the floor and put their hands on their head i'm not kidding it was that loud and it was instantaneous with a flash of lightning the noise and i have been i lived in malaysia see that we scott's video made it on tv his storm video in malaysia it's all on sometimes talking messages i just saw you scott tv okay so i got to it yes oh the memories so we were sat here oh it's still there i hope it is still there i'll have to double check uh by hand oh they have these big wood firing
pizza things um and i remember like i remember sitting i think we were literally sat here on this table and i was sat there because i remember like looking up at all the we love the electric the electrics southeast asia love it why find the wire you need just put another one on top and i remember seeing the flash and the whole road lit up and literally like a split second after this huge clap that everyone literally themselves it was so unbelievably loud yeah our best pizza place in chiang mai jai's are so good oh memories all right let's go somewhere else um we spent enough time in chiang mai bye-bye now chiang mai um let's go to bangkok shall we oh lots of stars excellent where is ceylon oh i don't
know anymore molly malone's is permanently closed irish bar obviously when in thailand do it the irish way was this the place we had the meet up the meet and greet it's gotta be oh yeah it looks like that one oh i got a visit excuse me i mean two irish parties next to each other not the greatest idea i guess i mean it's just gone now it's just gone it's just not there anymore i'm sure it was that one i am sure so we had the meet up oh man i just put me at the train station please where's the mrt or is that hello brick is that another country i'm thinking of oh the vegan bakery yes oh that place was nice oh yeah i remember down here now oh is this where i got my glasses these glasses haven't got them changed

it there it is oh no the grill this can't be right no it kind of closed down babies how did you ever make it ally patty's secret garden yes best place you're paying a lot more to go to paris secret garden but is it worth it yes it is can we walk on the beach but you can't of course you can't that's stupid why would you be able to do this i go to the beach oh the fat turtle bar hi oh i think i found it isn't this where i'm sure this movie's come for drinks oh you know what i've just realized that at the bottom of google maps when you're on street view it literally tells you image captured and when month and year that would have been very good to know ally anyway so i feel this video was just me
going ah where am i it was just me not being able to find my way around don't know how google maps work i don't know how that's got me around the globe to be honest you want to go out and too many cats if anything it's why i don't want to do these kind of videos so we have a travel channel we're gonna have to try and make it work you've got 2020 to cry it's 20 21 now girl we're gonna do something well he won't meet me and said though oh god i want to go back walk along the beach in koh lanta just stop at every little beach bar they're full of like dogs and everything just stop and have beer and then another beer okay well thank you for this i'm saying just quit i don't know whether you enjoyed this if you did you gotta let me know uh
because we can just go back and i wanna get scott involved um in some of these videos as well especially the australia one we're gonna go back to where we first met and everything like that's gonna be a big video because australia is quite the hefty she's a big boy country big boy and we went to our place to spend a lot of time there but yeah this was me failing finding my way around places i spent a very long time in thailand and so i hope you enjoyed it and come and join us on friday where we'll go and um re-watch some vlogs from my time in thailand i would have a good time and uh drink some coffee and watch some videos together and reminisce so if you're down for that set the reminder i should be doing that
