Hi guys. It's currently 7:30 a.m. and I'm up at this crack of dawn because I'm going hiking. It's kind of crazy. Actually, the weather is pretty nice. I'm really glad. It is all of a sudden really cold in Korea. So, it's about 7 Celsius. It was like 25 Celsius a couple days ago, and it's back to being kind of like fall weather. The air is crisp again. I don't mind, but I think it's the perfect weather to go hiking. So, I'm going with some friends. We're going to 관악산. Apparently, it's really popular these days. So, here we go.
So beautiful. I don't know where we are, but I think we're almost there. We were going up really fast in the beginning, but we've slowed down a lot. She brought us kimbap to eat at the top. Isn't this the best thing ever? And there's no one here cuz it's a weekday. I think it's really busy usually during the weekends, but we're like the only ones here. We are on our way down now. We were struggling for a little bit and I really thought we got lost for a second because we were going down a different route and the right thing would have
been to go down the way that we came up. But we decided to try a different route. I don't know. We just weren't thinking to be honest. We took that route and we were going down for a little bit and then we started climbing up so much that we were like wait a minute. Are we ever going to get down or are we going to go on another quest? Apparently it will lead us back down eventually. So, we're taking a longer route, but I think we should be getting down soon enough. But going down is so much harder, actually, cuz I'm trying so hard not to slip.
This is what I mean. We've been going down for so long and now we're seeing this. So I'm like, do I climb that or. I thought I would never make it out. Oh, I am back home and I quickly stopped by the convenience store to grab some food. Maybe it was because the hike was so intense. You know when you work out so hard sometimes that you're like not even hungry when you should be cuz you used so much energy. Yeah. I don't know why it's weird that I'm not super hungry right now. But I still grabbed some food. I'm not hungry enough to like go to a restaurant and order myself a meal,
but just quick food. And it's shocking because I just randomly grabbed these two and it was three bucks. $3 for a full meal like this. That's insane. But I'm just going to quickly shower and then I might have to nap. But um I'm going to shower and enjoy my meal after I'm all clean and refreshed cuz I feel so dusty right now. Going back to the hiking though. It was so much fun. If you live in Seoul, but you haven't gone hiking, especially 관악산, I highly recommend. And if you're visiting and you want to do something that you can only do in Seoul, make sure you go hike 관악산.
If I lived in Seoul, I feel like I would go at least once a week. We started from SNU and went up to 연주대, which is like the top of this mountain. Went down a different route, but I think if I went again, I would have come back the same way that we went up and it would have taken us maybe like 2 hours, 2 hours and 30 minutes cuz it took us about an hour to get up there. As someone who's been coming to Korea pretty often now, I've been trying really hard to kind of tap into like the local activities and find ways to insert myself into the wellness and fitness community here because
wellness is such a trend right now worldwide, but I think Korea is so good at following up with the trend and hosting a lot of these community events. Yeah. So, today I started the day off with hiking. Later, I'm also going running with New Balance. I'm a little nervous. I don't know if I'll be able to run with these legs. I'm already so shaky. Oh well, got to push through. Even in LA, I try my best to take part in all of these activities as much as I can. In LA, I love doing hot yoga, heated Pilates, Pilates classes, also some like nature trails, swimming in the ocean. And with
these physical activities also comes a lot of sweating. struggle that I go through a lot as a girl is keeping up with my hair washing schedule. that doesn't exist for me anymore because I have to shower at least once, often twice a day because I don't want to go around with sweaty scalp. Why is that so good? I love convenience store food. This is like my third convenience store meal this time around. It does feel like a depression meal. A sad meal, but it does not taste sad. I've never ran this much or ran this fast in my life. It's Thursday, April 23rd, almost 1:00 p.m. I woke up so late. I needed some time to recover after a day of hiking and running, but I also went out to dinner and I was with my friends until like 12, which is crazy on a Wednesday. But yeah, I had to sleep in today, rest my body. My calves are still killing me from that hike. But I'm heading to the Hyundai Mall. It's a must
whenever I come to Korea. It's the best place to shop because everything you want and everything you're looking for is probably going to be there and they also have a really good food court. So, I'm actually looking for something today for a video that I have to do. I have to buy a purple shirt and I'm a little worried because every time I go to the mall looking for something very specific, I can never find it. But, I'm hoping that everything works out and that I can still get some of my personal shopping done. and then we'll see what's trending.
That's like the best place to market research for trends because everything trendy is there coffee review. The oat flavor is really strong but it goes really well with the vanilla at the barnett right now which is one of my favorite brands I discovered last time I was here. We have this skirt. This is cute, but I don't know how I'm going to walk around comfortably cuz it's so narrow. Very limited to my walking here. Okay, I'm definitely getting this top. It's so cute. But the shorts, it's cute. Maybe not with this top. I don't know. I also think it's too big. I cinched it so much.
And I don't know if this lace is like too much, too pajama. Like, it's kind of cute. I don't know. We're trying a new dessert. It's kind of similar to 한정선, so I'm kind of curious to see how different it is. But the only thing different that I can see right now is that it's covered in Custard crumbs. So, I feel like it's going to taste more like bread, but we got chocolate. And then this is the milky one. And then this is their original. I'm going to eat this one. I love custard-anything so. This is going to be messy and my hands are not clean, but
It's definitely different. I don't know how to describe this. It's a lot softer and more creamy. but that one, the yogurt flavor is strong. So, it's like mochi plus fruity yogurt. But this is just like mochi with cream. more creamy. 한정선 has something exactly like this, so this might be a better comparison. I lowkey think the fruit of 한정선 is more fresh I've never seen this style. I actually really like this one. Wait, I think I might really like this one, too. which one should I get? Um, we did some damage today. Going on another trip next week and it's going to be like a summer Southeast Asia trip with my friends. So, I did some shopping for that. I wanted like a backpack so everything can fit in there and I don't have to worry about like lugging around purses. I also bought like a windbreaker jacket. I think it's going to be really hot and I want something to cover myself. Taking a little break with some acai bowl. This is oak berry acai. Very refreshing. I have dinner plans with my friends, so I thought I had time to go back home. I think I'm going to go straight from here because it's already like 5:36 almost 6.

It's one of those foods that's kind of like you either love it or you hate it. I've never tried. I have no idea what to expect. Apparently, I need to try the soup first. So clear. I can't expect it to taste like anything. I haven't been vlogging because I've just been eating all day and this isn't a mukbang vlog
and I felt bad that I just kept eating and there wasn't much substance to the vlog. So, I paused for a little bit, but I'm on my way to Olive Young. I'm leaving tomorrow, so I'm doing a mandatory Olive Young run. I'm in this area where we have a lot of palaces. So, it's interesting to see all the signage. They're in Korean. I always take something like this before my flight and they sell it at OliveYoung! This is my favorite hair treatment. I use this instead of my hair conditioner and it makes my hair so soft. And they're doing plus one right now. Minus 10° cooling mist.
I was going to ask for a shade, so I tapped one of the employees and then she recognized me and she gave me this. So sweet. Thank you. Okay, let's do a long awaited haul. everything that I got when I went to the Hyundai Mall and also Olive Young today cuz I'm going to unbox everything and take it out of the boxes so it's easier for me to fit it into my suitcase. I don't know why, but this is already opened. I don't think that's a good sign. Okay, I'm sussed out, but hopefully there's like a cover. Okay,
good. It's new. I think we're good. This is a cream blush from Naming. I just thought the packaging was so cute. Key ring edition, special edition. Oh my gosh, so cute. Okay, so this is the blush. It's tiny. It's in the shade Mellow. I've never finished a blush, so I'm okay that it's really small, but you slide it open. It feels like a toy that I would have used maybe at like age seven. And there is a place to hook on this keychain. Whenever makeup brands do keychain editions, I don't feel the need to actually use it as a keychain, but this I would
actually use as a keychain. Super summery. Then this is a sunscreen that's really popular in Korea right now, but it's also supposed to work like a BB cream / foundation. I don't know how the shade is going to work. I don't think there was any shade options. So, I will let you guys know how it works. Hopefully, it's not too light of a shade for me, but looks like that. And then lastly, I got this Amuse lip gloss. On the display, it said it was super thick and super glossy. And I've been looking for a gloss that's like really glossy, something you can spot from miles away, you know?
So, it's also like really sticky. controversial, but I love a sticky gloss. It smells like peach. Ooh, pretty. I love a sticky gloss because I feel like the stickier they are, better it sticks to your lips and it stays on for a long time. Okay, this is not going to be in order, but I went to the Barnett and I bought this skirt. It looks like something Coucou Intimates would sell, but it's lined. Went to Giordano because you guys know I had to search for something purple. So, I got this purple shirt at Giordono and I thought about just wearing it once and returning it,
but I actually think this color is really cute and I think I'll wear it. So, I'm going to keep it. I went to 8 Seconds. also looking for something purple and I got this sweater, but I'm also just going to keep this even though I didn't even wear it for the video, but it's this really light airy sweater you can throw on during the summer. And I love this color, so it works out. I also got this bag. Super cute. It's easy summer bag that I don't have to worry too much about. This is from a brand called the brown something. Hold on. Brown paper. white slouchy top with this shoulder detail. I
always love buying basics with a little bit of a twist. discovered this brand recently and I love everything, but they do a lot of cute graphic tees and hoodies, but I was trying to contain myself and only shop for things that I need for my upcoming trip. So, I got these cute shorts. And then when I got the white top, they gave me this for free. It's like a comb necklace. It's actually really cute. I would wear this. ColoCynth, also a new brand that I discovered. It's a halter top, but it's kind of like a tunic top. So, I could wear it as a dress if I wanted to. Has like this
slouch detail at the front. I could wear it as a top with little shorts underneath or as a dress. I can wear it with pants. like this top and these shorts would be so cute together. went to Patagonia and bought these pink shorts. If you couldn't tell, I really love this pink purple color. And this just really caught my eye. And it's like easy, comfy summer shorts that I can put on. And I've been really into like sporty almost like gorp core, hiking core items. So, and going along with that theme, I bought a windbreaker jacket. Also something easy that I can throw on
during the summer. These are sandal sneakers from New Balance. And they had other colors, too. I think black and silver, but this dusty pink color really caught my attention. And they're super light and super comfortable. I believe this is the very last thing. But I bought a backpack from Solomon. After being out of school, I've always been like a tote girl, tote bag girl. The more I travel, the more I realize how convenient a backpack would be. So, I just bought something. It's still on the smaller side, but I can fit my laptop and anything that I need while traveling.
And yeah, I just stuck to black, so it could be versatile. That is my haul. I have so much stacked up here. I don't know how I'm going to fit everything into my bag. That's just how it is. every trip. I'm at alkemia in Haebangchon. I came here with some of my friends a couple days ago and it was so good that I had to come back before I leave. But today I got. what did I get? Earl Grey and I literally forgot what I got. Ah, caramel. I haven't had these flavors before. So, so flavorful. This is caramel
