What did you think of that exchange? Loved it. I loved it. I mean, both these guys, one of them saying come to 140 and Shakur. I mean, I'm I'm always going to favor Shakur in any fight. I think this man is brilliant. But Oshaki Fost had a brilliant

performance tonight. Id love to see this fight. 130 135 140 skills pay the bills and both these guys have skills to spare. Boy, Shakur Stevenson came in hot as one of his good friends Ray Ford just got beaten by Oshaki Foster. He wants revenge. As we turn it over to Chris, we got a little bit of action in the crowd. We'll keep it right here though. Shock in the ring. Tremendous performance. You defend your world championship. And you said you were going to show that you were a level above in this fight. Do you think you showed that tonight?

Oh, yeah, for sure. I mean, I started off a little rusty. I ain't going to lie. and he was a little sharp early, but I knew I was gonna start picking him apart. I told him it was levels to this and I told him the son that I was gonna get the daddy next and that's who I want. We'll get to that in a minute, but you're right. It was a close fight it seemed like through six rounds. The punch numbers seemed to reflect that. What changed as we got to the second half of the fight? Oh, man. I'm I'm one of the best. I'm I'm one of the smartest people in this ring, man. And all I needed to do was adjust, man. I knew what he was going to come in and wanted to do. and

uh I just took it I took everything away from him. I knew what his strengths was and you know that's what I that's what my plan was to take it away from him. So talk to me about those adjustments. What kind of adjustments did you make from the sixth round on but it seemed like you won five of the six maybe all six those final rounds. Uh just picking up my output. Um I see I told him before I know he don't I see he don't like when punch is coming at him and that was thing punch and use my angles after I punch and that worked to my benefit. I mean to my uh it worked for me.

He's been aggressive for most of his fights at 130 lbs. Did you expect him to apply pressure early cuz he was fighting some off the back foot making you come in? Yeah. No. Uh for sure. I thought he was going to try to press me. He kept talking about he was going to uh stop me and he was going to hurt me, break me, and uh so you see from the first round I stepped to him and uh he didn't know what to do with it. We see Emanuel Nevete having two belts at 130. Do you think you made your case tonight that you should be considered the best at 130 lbs?

Uh, man. Yes, sir. Skill for skill. Um, everything. Um, I'm I'm the best. Um, if I can't get Shakur next, um, hopefully me and Never can do it, but um, y'all know who I want. You do want Shakur Stevenson. We saw him jump into the ring, confront you afterwards. What were you two saying to each other? Oh, man. He was saying I ain't ready and all that. He know this why I came to his little mass to show him that I was serious about making a fight with him and uh I'm still serious right now. I go to 140 or whatever he want to do. He want to meet

me at 35. Whatever you want to do. Let's do it. You have the crowd behind you tonight here in your backyard of Houston, Texas. What did it mean to get a win like this in your backyard? Man, I just give all the glory to God. I want to give all the glory to God. I want to thank all Houston man for showing up and showing out for your boy, man. Uh, it was a great night. We trying to bring boxing back to Houston, man. And we going to keep it here. That's my plan. Congratulations, Shock. Thank you, man. I appreciate it.
