We got a call from the Florida Wildlife Commission. It's uh Cavalry Chapel Sawgrass and the guy noticed there was a good size gator back here. Hey guys. What's up guys? How you doing? know what's going on. Jimmy. Tank, how are you? Nice meeting you. What's going on? Man, there's this massive alligator back there. Yeah, what's massive? 6 ft? 8 ft? No, dude. This thing's like 12 ft. It's it's huge. Yeah.

I saw something that was a little unnatural for our property which was this giant alligator. And so we called the Florida Wildlife Commission and said, "Can you please come help us?" Where's this water at? Well, you could just drive right back there. All right, we'll check it out. Good luck, guys. Thanks. I'll be praying for you guys. Appreciate that. Always. All right. So we talked to the guy. He said, you know, they play soccer back here with the kids and gator just kind of moved in last few days and wants him gone.

I just saw him go down. His head was up right in that corner. I mean, it was big, too. They might be right. This might be 10 or 12 ft. I'm going to put my stuff on. Okay. It's a small pond. It's maybe half clear water and half floating vegetation on top. This could be a tricky catch if he gets under that floating vegetation cuz it'll be pitch black down there and probably a lot of places to hide. See the bubbles now how they're appearing right there? A lot of times that's where he'll drop.

I noticed this bubble trail. This could be the alligator moving along the bottom or it could just be a fish or a turtle, something else that's in there. I noticed with this little bit of floating vegetation on this one side in the corner is where I saw the gator go down. So I went down there and he was just sitting there on the bottom. He started thrashing going side to side and then he ran with me a little bit. As soon as Paul got to the edge of the bank, I was able to get the rope from him.

Let me get this one again. We heaved him up as far as we could away from the water. Finally he spent all his energy. He was kind of a wet noodle coming out of the water. Man, that's a big alligator. And then as soon as I started going to work him, he just blew up. Oh god. Dude, he spins tight for a big boy. He probably spun at me, you know, 15, 20 times. I went to jump on him. He still had one last shot at me he took. That's a big gnarly alligator.

Wow. That's a big dude. All right, you ready? Yeah, put some tape on this dude. We appreciate you getting him. Definitely. Yeah, no worries, man. I appreciate you guys calling us. These are God's animals and you know, we don't want God's animals to be harmed. You guys want some help? Actually, yeah. Oh, heck yeah. All we want to do is just make sure that it's put back where it could be and its safest environment really.

It's a pleasure. Thank you very much. Thank you, guys. We got the gator loaded up, got him in the truck. These guys were real happy to see him go and uh said that they were more happy that it wasn't going to be put down, that he'd go to a good place and be taken care of the rest of his life. We get a call from the Florida Wildlife Commission. It's a house taking a small pond in the back. Reportedly there was an alligator over 10 ft. How you doing? How's it going? Good. How you doing? You got a gator out here? Yeah, yeah. I spotted him last night. There was some thrashing out here.

Okay. How big you think he is? Sucker is huge. And you haven't left the area? You No, no. We backed it up. I locked up my dogs. My wife. Having a gator that size in my pond doesn't work. You know, I've got grandkids that visit on a regular basis. We've got pets. I'm going to put my stuff on and get in and look for him. He can't I mean it's pretty small pond. So Yeah, he's got to be nuts. I'm glad it's you not me.

The permit said it was 10 ft. When we got to the guy he said he actually saw it sunning this morning and he thinks it's over 12 ft. So it's a big alligator in a small pond. Dude, this thing's big. You saw him? Big. Yeah. Every bit of 11. He's big. I want to take one shot and get it. I'm looking down looking for the gator. I was by the water for 5 minutes and then all of a sudden I feel a wake come by. He popped in the surface started swimming across.

I was able to swim right up on the side of him almost like pulling up on side of a boat. And he dove went down. I was able to get that noose. He just kind of swam right into it. I mean, this thing as soon as I put the rope over his head, he just blew up, opened his mouth, and was trying to just do anything he could to me. Uh, nope. There's no way that I could have pulled this alligator up on myself. He would have dragged me in right with him. So, Paul hurried up, got behind me, and wrapped that rope.

OH, NO. WOO! WHAT? This is a big nasty animal. You don't want to fall next to that head and get tangled, because this gator will ruin you. Yeah, he's huge. Yeah, well, I mean, when we were working this alligator, as he was spinning and hitting the ground with his tail, You could feel the ground shake. Oh, dude, I can feel it. You feel the ground when he does that. He actually made like a bellow noise, and you can actually feel it through our feet, you know, through the ground. I mean, it was crazy.

He made a couple of attempts back to the water, and the most dangerous thing you could do is get between an alligator and the water, especially an alligator this big. You know, we went right up under these jaws, and the only thing you can do is lift his head up and try to keep him, because he doesn't want to press, because your head is his head's up in the air. Keep him away from that hill. And that's the only thing we were able to do to stop him. Yeah, I mean, a big alligator like that, when he spins it's a lot of energy to move all that mass. And you figure, you know, five or 10 spins Get on him.

I figured he's got to be done, so I stepped in, jumped on him, and he basically ran away with me. I couldn't There's nothing I could do. Might want to use some extra weight on him. He's strong. Tell me when You're good. Yeah, I'm good. Yep. You got a lot of faith in these little hands, don't you? I trust you. You weren't joking when you said he was a big boy. He's big, man. I told you. We put pretty much a whole roll of tape on him, and you know, it was a good feeling seeing him on land and, under control.

Wow. Hey, call uh Scott and Trey. Yeah, as soon as I landed this alligator, I felt the girth of my fellow, like how wide he was. I was thinking, man, it's going to be tough to get this guy in the truck. Trey, um we just caught this massive alligator, dude. I mean, he probably weighs 6, 700 lbs. Um can you meet me over at the I'm going to text you the address. All right, bye. We get a lot of calls, you know, gators range from 5 to 9 ft. That's the average, but coming out and seeing this size alligator, you know, it's kind of cool seeing that they still exist.

Ready, set, up. Let's try it with him if we have to. You know, you love to see that kind of wildlife, but the truth of it is that you can't coincide with it, not when you have children. All right, man, thank you. You guys are something else. Really awesome that we were able to get this alligator, you know, such an awesome animal being so big, and you know, the homeowner's happy now that he can let his dogs back out. He can open those gates back up, and we can take him back to Holiday Park now.
