- Sometimes when I'm having a conversation with my man, he's not really paying attention. He's always on a device, phone, iPad, what have you. When I'm talking to you, I need that eye contact. Oh, I'm sorry. I need. Fuck you. - Oh, you was telling - The story. Talking about him. Yes, yes. - She scared me. All I heard is say, "When I'm talking to you, I need eye contact." Okay, - Go ahead. Yeah. When I'm talking to him, I need eye contact. You know, that just lets me know, you know, that you're engaged, you're paying attention, and you're interested in what, you know, what's going on.

- Can I ask you a question? - Uh-oh, go ahead. - When you talking to him, is it interesting? - Absolutely. I'm not boring at all. - Okay. Well, let's, let's do a little reenactment. I'm your husband and you talking to me. Go ahead and I'm going to see if I. Go ahead. - Okay. So I may start out with I want to know how, how was your day? How was your day today? How was work? - It was good. - Okay. It just good?

- Yeah. Same thing I do every day. I'm a garbage man. - That's it? - That's how your conversation go? All right well let's try it again. Go ahead. - Okay. I'll, I'll talk about something that I've been doing. Okay. So, okay. I submitted for some of these acting jobs and I got a few roles. I got some auditions coming up. You know, we'll go into things like that. I'll tell them what's been going on and, you know, the whole day, what I've been doing on set, you know, different things like that.

- Yeah. Don't nobody give a. I'm going to the bathroom. Lord, you dry. - I'm not really. It's this, you know, of course you know you're at home, you're more comfortable, this - Is a differen type of setting. It's a - Different type setting. Yeah. So how - Long y'all been married?

- No, no, not, we're not married. Boyfriend and girlfriend. We're in a relationship. It's been about a year. - Oh, okay. About a year. He already ain't listening? - Right. Yeah. Right. It's not all the time, but it's sometimes, you know? But you know, when we're talking, I need that. - What does he like to talk about? - We do talk about family a lot, which is good. - Y'all got kids? - No, no. No children. No.

- How old is he? - 56. - Oh, 56. - Yeah. - And you want him to make eye contact and talk? - Yes. - Y'all been together about a year now? - Yes. - Yeah. Yeah, this is probably over. - You got nothing for me. - What y'all want me to do? Is this, this hey Steve? Hey Steve, she talking to me.

Well, you know, guys, you know when they 56, you know, is he a old 56? - Yeah. - Yeah. See, that's probably what he old. See, I'm 64, he ain't this. You know what I'm saying? I'm fly. I got conversation. He's fly - Though. He's - Fly. I believe it's probably sharp dressing because he from that era, you know. But he ain't got that, you know what I'm saying? You know, like Marjorie, she still woo, you know, I, I break her, you know what I'm saying? I make her knees buckle sometimes, you know?

'Cause I do things to her she ain't ready for. Okay. She'll - Be - Sitting around and just walk up and just lick her teeth. You see what I'm saying? I see. You ain't had your teeth lit, because I had you under some pressure. I put something on your mind. We might not be talking all the time, but I sure got something we can do.

- Yeah. I got you. - He nice guy. This what you might have to do is you might have to start having these conversations a little bit more interesting. And I don't mean with conversation. Just put something on and have that conversation with him. You know, some heels on. Just heels. - Just heels. - I bet his ass talked back then. And you only need to have these talks once every two weeks. Just walk in front of the TV with a thong on. Even if you ain't got a thong, if you're a curvy woman, you don't even need a thong.

Just a regular pair of bloomers of dude. But once you walk about four times around the couch, they'll turn into a thong. Just walk them on up in there. Yeah. Basically. And then stop and then just say, you feel like talking and watch what happened. I better get real interested in it because you nice looking lady. You kept yourself together and everything. Use the fact that you a woman. Just use it.

- We've been together for seven years. We're about to celebrate our four year winning anniversary. - Okay. - The three years that we was together before we got married, every time we went on a trip, I was the person who was planning the trips and, you know, making all the reservations and basically the itineraries and things of that nature. My husband Mark proposed to me, and after he proposed to me, I was like, "Listen, after we get married, I'm not doing that no more." - Okay. - Well, our first anniversary that we went on, I'm like, "Where are we going? Where we going?" He like, "It's a surprise.

I'm going to surprise you. Just know you going to like it." So I'm like, "Okay, bet." Right? So a week before we go, I'm like, "So where are we going?" He's like, "Savannah, Georgia." And we right here in Marietta. So okay. So we get there and I'm expecting like the itinerary and stuff like that, like when I used to plan the trips and we didn't have no. It was no itinerary. We just went to go eat and then went back to the room and we was chilling and then we would go eat and then we went to the room and we was chilling and then we drove back to Marietta. So we went to go see Usher earlier this year

and I got the tickets and stuff to go to Usher and he was like, "I'm going to get the plane tickets for you." And I'm like, "Okay, yeah." So now we together doing the trip. But then on the flight, my knees is in my chest. It's like really uncomfortable. So I'm like, I let him plan and then it's kind of like, you know, lackluster. So my question is, in a marriage, who is responsible for planning the trips? - Go ahead, finish the question. I'm sorry. I jump in too early. My bad. Go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead. - Okay. So - - In a marriage.

- Uh-huh. - Who is responsible for planning the trips? - Right. Okay. You ready for this? Although you ain't got to talk to him. All this is your fault. Y'all don't even know why you stood up. I don't know why you drug dog into this. Before y'all got married, you planned everything. You know why? Because you good at it. You know why he don't? Because he ain't good at it. It ain't what he do. He don't know how to plan. He know how to pay for it.

See, he pay for the trip. And let me ask you this though, what was your mission by turning it over to him? What did you hope to accomplish by going, "Wait, when we get married, I ain't planning no more trips. You going to do it." Now bro say, "Okay." He didn't argue. He just said, "Okay." That first anniversary, you're down there in Savannah. He done, that ain't what he do. Why would you put that on him? It don't make no sense. It's not what your husband do. Can I tell you something?

Steve Harvey don't plan a damn thing. Marjorie tells me every year where we going, what we going on, how she wanted to be, how long we staying. All I got to do is pay for it. That's my damn job, is to pay for it and go. Because women are better planners. Women are more detail oriented. They know how to pay attention to everything. Why would you dump that on dog like that? That ain't even what he do. Now do I plan something every now and then, but it's just a surprise for her.

I ain't got the time to work all this stuff out. My wife done told me where we going for my birthday this year. It's a surprise. The surprise is how much it costs. I said, "But baby, why, what is this right here that cost this much?" "Don't baby me. You going to have a nice time. Do I ever blow it? "I say," No, you going to go and have a nice time. "You don't know how to have a nice time. All you really know how to do, Steve Harvey, is go make some money.

You just know how to go to work. You just go to work. That's a blessing to have in your life. Now you done took the blessing from him. You give it back. You give that blessing back and start planning that man's vacation. I got you, dog. Thank you. Hey, you made it to the end of this video.
