growing it's growing you're a beautiful little seed yes you are you're going to grow up to be a mighty plant one day okay that guy looks like he's just peeing on it so now let's let's talk about the difference of good goodness and kindness so kindness is something that you do to others but goodness is about who you are as a person internally and like the things that you stand for and through that when you're good internally it's a lot easier for you to be kind outwardly and so for me the biggest thing that helped me be a gooder person good is not a real word was um spending time in the Bible because of the way that the Bible tells us that we are supposed to live our life how we're
supposed to treat others the Bible tells you that you're supposed to love yourself but you love your neighbor just as you love yourself so that person next door your friend at school the cooworker your wife your girlfriend your aunt your uncle you love them as much as you love yourself and if you don't love yourself well we got to work on that because you're amazing this is when it goes back to bullying if I'm talking to a bully you will make it so hard for somebody to love themselves and if they can't love themselves and be good inward it's going to be very hard for them to be kind outward because of bitterness resentment it's not to say everybody but a lot of times so that is why it's so important
for us not to bully people and then if people are getting bullied come to their rescue and help them out because it's it all plays aart love is going to help you be good being good is going to help you be kind being I mean it's like all connected y'all and you know how I learned all this stuff I didn't know this stuff forever I kind of had like bits and pieces but I'm an adult right and what helped me learn all of this was reading the Bible and I'm talking about the parts of the Bible that tell you who God is and what God wants for you how you're to live your life how you're to treat others I'm talking about those parts of the Bible we don't have to start talking about Noah's Ark right now
and all that and raising Lazarus from the dead I mean all those are like really cool um stories that are in the Bible but I'm talking about the way we're supposed to live and the in the Christian values and that's that's what's really important to me and the fruits of the spirit are really nine great values of how to live our lives and I would um let you know that at this very moment I'm struggling with patience cuz I just want this little plant to be done but this little corny bamboo shoot that looks like it's not even going to be anything cool it's just taking forever and I just want to go like the little tiny red choo train that said I can come on little asparagus you can do it come on this is taking a really long

trying to one crack uhuh two cracks uh-uh three cracks uhuh sometimes that coconut you got to go crazy and just keep trying to split that thing open to get the reward that is inside and that reward is the coconut meat or the coconut juice whatever it is that is called being faithful you are pursuing it over and you're just not stopping you're not giving up you're doing what's what's needing to be done and what needs to be done is get that coconut open same thing goes for a relationship you have a friend and that friend is important to you sometimes you got to do what needs to be done to keep that your to keep your friend if you get into an argument with them you're upset with them well being
faithful to that person could be going up to that person talking about it helping them don't judge them because they have a different life than you and they're going through something differently than what you're going through and that's when compassion kicks in now compassion isn't on this list it's like a derivative it's all connected I mean compassion is wrapped up underneath goodness if you will and so anyways just I challenge you um to just think about others as you are going about your day and it's hard it's so hard because we're not going to be perfect right I'm going to mess up you're going to mess up but what we do with our mess ups is going to be super dope like are you going to just mess up and be like oh well I messed up
