welcome back to another budgeteers Bitesize in this show we deep dive into specific travel related topics so that we are all passionate about all rights now my turn to try this monster crap and today we are taking a break from filming our main series here in Sri Lanka where we are currently driving around the entire island in our very own tuk since we spent about a week exploring the capital of Colombo we felt we had gotten to know a lot about Sri Lankan food and its colorful culture however we still didn't really know much about its a beer scene and we thought what better way than to just buy a bunch of local beers have some fun and try doing a blind tasting challenge welcome to
another budgeteers bite size this one is going to be a special one because this is our first budgeteers bite-sized beer challenge that's right today we are answering the age-old question of which one of these beautiful kiss knows the most knows their beers and basically is a legend for life because I don't want to lose the bet cuz otherwise it won't stop bragging about it the next couple of weeks but no matter what happens today no matter what the results are we all know but just hear me finish it's clearing I've gotta stop it first we need to introduce you to the teams for today's beer challenge each budget here is teamed up with a partner someone special that has been a big part of our main sri lankan series which by
the way you can watch over on our channel after this challenge is over introducing first we have an Indian dye and India is a long-term subscriber of the show and someone we kept bumping into along our journey in Sri Lanka together we are team doing it for the Queen as we both come from the Commonwealth and well who better to fight for than Her Majesty the next up we have ties and wheat sir Rita is the co-founder of tuk-tuk rental the amazing company we are using to rent our very own tooktook to travel the entire island and apparently who knows his beer together they are the tall lanky bastards and last up is Lena with her partner Sharon work for island hostels where we stage during our time in colombo and he also runs mindful
travels an awesome company here in sri lanka and something you'll find out more about later on in our main series together they are team oh well actually they forgot to think of a team name and to be honest they just goofed around all day and annoyed the hell out of everyone so let's just get on with the challenge shall we met the team's the beers are cold not really fun whatever and now it's time for rounds did it in three teams did it and then an end to losers get it in didn't and only one prize for one winner it's the budgeteers bee you're Charlie round 1 guys the question is one of these beers is high strength the other one is regular strength which one is the high strength beer smell first
like a log I am or Pilsner is a technical term right this has got really fruity smell to it I get each of Annapolis yes and this doesn't really have any aroma trip so I'm guessing that this is just the cheap it from smell so how about I won't agree with how we're saying that this one a is the expensive one and I'm not even gonna bother tasting it could be that confident with our nasal it howdy it's a European idea and they were very cocky before I think we can buy just the color of the beer without tasting any okay are you sure right off the bat I'm gonna say this is a strong beer no this one looks more Marty yeah we're not even gonna tell ya this is Lee you are annoyingly correct I'm gonna guess right
away this is the lowest one and this is the highest you're sure yeah listen we're gonna be confident this is the lower this is you are correct oh yeah tall inky bastards you are correct the question for this one is in your hands you have to doubt beers of two different brands the question is which one do you think is the cheapest you let me feel secure with home in Chicago middle names all just cut the catalyzer they look like stout so reporters when you smell have roasted malt I believe yeah roasted most adult kiss for the Queen yeah the foam was also a little thicker on this yeah if you look at the fireman look at that's a quality funny

this one's really sweet yeah really see mrs. Shay we're gonna say hey the fighter you are wrong no not I'm joking you're correct this is harder than I thought you know the only thing I can say it's like they could both beside it at first I was like that has to be the beer this has to be the butane hash this is my side here try this one more time I think that's alright I'm trusting you yeah for the Queen it's country time Commonwealth over comment well this is the cider you are correcting I'm sorry you are correct oh yeah this is the fourth round and the final and also the most important rounds that's call boys your challenge is to taste these four beers and one cider basically just match the drink to it's correct brand if
you get all four correct you will get three points if you get one wrong you get a big fat zero good luck okay last round we got this map we actually got a unfair advantage you know why because an indie here is a professional pisshead and humble brave he's been drinking these three so how many is not long enough and I've been drinking lion consistently now for the last week here in Colombo so I reckon we've got this covered should we give ourselves a challenge I challenge us saying that self this is my science done 30 seconds are we correct you sure incorrect even subscribe right now well you got one we go one but we need you won't stop bragging about it the next couple of weeks let us know is this the right combination incorrect these two they
