Good morning, John. This is one of my Vlogbrothers videos I'm making to say I'm not making a Vlogbrothers video, which I know you don't like. I know that you think if I'm not going to make a Vlogbrothers video, I should just say on the community tab I'm not making a Vlogbrothers video. I have a hard time with this. It's been almost 20 years. I'm trying to change the structure of my brain, but will I ever be able to? Oh my god, what have I found? This is hilarious. Is this a public mini golf course? Is it open? It's locked. Why is it locked? Why would you have a public mini golf course and then lock it? It's not like you could get up to much nonsense in there. Look at this.
Now, I will say if they wanted people to not go into it, they're doing a bad job. This is an achievable jump. There's even a step here if you'd like to just have a little bit of a hoop. But we're not going to do that cuz we're Americans in this small town in France and I don't know what the rules are. There's a little castle and it's all made of concrete, so you don't have to maintain it at all. This is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. This is not what I was going to make a video about, John. But I've never seen in my life a public mini golf course and now I'm like, why don't we It's so cute. Now, it's a little bit charred at the moment because it's so hot. It's got attractive
landscaping. John, the reason we are in France right now is to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary, a trip we have had planned for like 2 years, which has happened to coincide with a historic heat wave in France, but we're not thinking about that right now. We'll think about that in the future. Right now, we are enjoying ourselves in the ways that we can. currently 7:30 in the morning and it is already hot enough that I am sweating on this walk. I will say also, I have planned for this to be a loop, but I've not looked at a map. I'm just looping by feel, which I tend to be okay at, but I don't have like a 100% hit rate on making my loops into actual loops. Sometimes you have to
double back and that can become a real problem if you've not accounted for that time. Anyway, we are in France to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary. And you know, we are a brotherhood who make YouTube videos together. We've been doing this as a brotherhood, and implied by a brotherhood are parents. And they have made occasional appearances both in the lore and also on the channel. But, it seems like a good time to say in a little video that I'm making, just to tell you that I'm not making a Vlog Brothers video, how lucky we are to have these two wonderful, thoughtful, empathetic, values-laden parents who have worked very hard to have a good impact on their world and to support each other and to
support their children and their grandchildren. I just love them very much. And it's been And this has been a really lovely opportunity for everyone to be together and have a good time. That's what we're doing. And France is beautiful, especially if you go out before 8:00 in the morning. And John, I have amazing news. I have looped accurately, and I'm back where I thought I was going to be. And now I can go get my tea and a croissant and say hello to you. So, I'll see you in a moment.
