all anonymous because they were all sent through a question on my instagram story so i'm gonna keep them hostels with long-term guests should be avoided fridges and rooms are normally disgusting i totally understand this and it hits me at my core i lived in a hostel long term and um it does honestly depend on what hostel you stay at a lot of people who do long-term hostels mainly like australia and new zealand because you're there for a year doing your working holiday of two years maybe some of them can be gross and i find some of the cheaper ones which long-term residents want to find um absolutely disgusting one we say that chill backpackers in um brisbane live there for just over three months and we did keep it aura i mean the rooms
were a mess but um the staff were really on you if your room wasn't at least a somewhat reasonable standard um and you could get evicted and the kitchen was always cleaned every day and it was fine it was honestly fine but yeah it definitely can go the other way real quick so i agree it's not for everyone and it's not everyone's dream to travel i completely agree with this and especially when it comes to solo travel is not for everyone it really isn't and sometimes people just don't like traveling sometimes people want to go on package holidays and that's what they love great go we've already done a video on this on real talk of travel shaming like stop it's not for everyone and it isn't everyone's dream
to fly around the world and see every country before they die it really isn't hard agree avoid the must-see places they're usually overcrowded overpriced and not worth it oh i have to disagree with you girl um they're must see for a reason and i totally get them they're very busy they're very crowded they're very expensive everything around them is expensive um but there's normally a reason for it now i've never been up at the eiffel tower i'll definitely do it at some point because i feel like you know let's do it one time but when i went to paris i remember just going to the base and i took lots of pictures and we looked at it and i didn't go up it and that was fine uh because i didn't want to spend the
money but when i went to like italy for the first ever time i went to like every museum and you know i did everything went into the colosseum it's like going there and not you know seeing the colosseum from the outside is one thing but tour on the inside all the history land the queues are horrific granted and if you want to jump the queue it's expensive same with vatican uh museum oh sorry i'm being distracted the cuteness of these two cats lying together in front of the fire jesus there's a reason so i've gotta disagree but i get where you're coming from and there's a lot of other things you can do if you don't want to hit all the messy places but they're messy for a reason and i think it's good to like
just balance it you know bouncing a bit of this and balance it with your own exploring going off finding some more quieter places balance baby it's all about balance the philippines is so overrated pretty to be honest we're gonna fight everyone has an opinion they do and i do appreciate when people can come and say i didn't like this country that everyone hypes on about you know i didn't like my travel experience when i got there or it wasn't what i expected fine everyone's allowed an opinion unless you're a travel youtuber then you know if you look at any time in my career on this channel that i had mentioned i don't didn't like a city i didn't vibe with the place oh the hate we get i still say it because you i'm still gonna say it
i'm alive and opinion it is an unpopular opinion and i'm hard disagr no hard disagree with you love the philippines however i didn't like all of the philippines but i talked about that in some of my videos oh people are using it as a form of escapism from real life and responsibilities my granddad is deep that is deep and i have some stuff to say you can definitely use it for running away running away physically thousands of miles away from your life and problems and you get back and realize oh nothing changed and actually all my stuff in my head i took with me not everyone can i think that's what you're saying people can do that but i don't think you were saying that everyone does that and that's not the reason people travel but
yes you definitely see it but then you quickly realize you can't run away from problems because you just take them with top bunk over bottom bunk hands down i'm sorry what it's why would you do that i don't understand i mean that's prime real estate a bum bunk you walk into a hostel dorm and there's a bum bump free you're like oh my god i mean whenev anyone ever left a room and you were staying on longer and you're on top no i don't like that i didn't like that one long and cheap bus rides are in fact not worth it as i have grown older i will come to agree with you that the super long cheap bus rides that are so uncomfortable you can't sleep you can't sit you got a headache you got backache you got people
screaming it is dirty it takes you 37 hours as i have grown um i don't do that anymore for my sanity um i would definitely pay more for a different mode of transportation for sure however do i regret all of the long bus rides i took like the 36 hour bus ride i took from birmingham to budapest no packing cubes are useless oh we're gonna fight i didn't realize we came here to fight today how are you using them this is what i want to know you see i use a good combination see these are fighting words this combination of packing cubes and then also little like cosmetic key wash bags for lots of different things otherwise you just got a pile of crap in a suitcase or in a backpack and you
gotta scramble through everything all my packing cubes i wish i could label them label all my packing cubes because i have one for everything i'm ever gonna need i feel attacked it's not long haul unless it's at least 15 plus hours incorrect you're actually so wrong what classifies as a long-haul flight any flight longer than seven hours is considered a long-haul flight seven hours you're just wrong i didn't realize you'd all upset me so much today everyone should be required to solo travel before being allowed to group travel wife someone doesn't want solo that's very mean of you some people would hate the idea people would hate the idea of social i do i hard disagree with this one um so travel is not for everyone and some people
want to be in a group they don't want to go away on their own you know and that's totally cool no by the way let me know in the comments which ones you are agreeing with or disagreeing with this is a lot of fun cities are boring when traveling through a country they get more or less the same this can be very true cities can get very similar um with when you're staying within the same country um i think it depends i mean you can always find sync a little bit different but i totally get it if you want if you're trying to a whole country be good to just mix it up between cities and countries but yet some cities can just get repetitive you're like it's another city and once you've hit all the like
top spots but maybe challenge yourself to find out what's so different about this city i look at cities in the uk and you've got london very different from birmingham they look like seas but their history and everything is so different you got manchester you got leeds you got liverpool so much going on in liverpool they're so different you're not going to find this going on in manchester both cities i love ryanair is great all right calm down you cannot go to every country alone bare minimum you're getting scammed you get scammed when you go peop with people hard disagree just because you're traveling with someone doesn't mean nothing bad can happen to you're not going to get scammed when scott and i travel we got scammed so it doesn't stop that
holidays are better than backpacking again it's good to mix up now i do both i totally get why you'd enjoy one or the other i love the adventure of just going off on your own with a bag um but i also love that maybe you just want to be lazy and chill and eat lots of food and get a suntan and read a book i totally get both are cool if you're going to be in debt when you return don't travel i had a great bar i live a life now growing up with a family that was constantly in debt um debt terrifies me absolutely terrifies the life out of me so i'm hard to agree don't go into debt to travel uh don't but i don't know i'll i just don't want to go into debt i mean i have my student loan that's enough for me thank you
very much i want to get a mortgage fine but those are good debts aren't they no more that is it um but no i wouldn't put a holiday on a credit card if i knew i couldn't pay that off like straight away big cities like new york and london are overrated and overpriced definitely expensive for sure absolutely but this is very much like a few of the other ones we covered on um i love new york you can't tell me anything different um i actually love new york i've been twice now and i love it i love that city so much and we enjoy london i would hate to live in london i would hate london if i lived in it i'm visiting i do i love visiting you don't have to do everything staying one day in the hotel doing nothing
