this is 14 years of minute physics drawings and I'm giving them all away it's the very first minute physics video this is Einstein's biggest blender Einstein as a ghost being surprised that cosmological constant is okay it's the Shing your cat video all the original drawings if you want one you can have one stick around to hear how all right let's get some space in here I've been making minute physics videos since 2011 actually I made the first couple in 2010 but didn't start the YouTube channel until 2011 I illustrate most of my videos by taking time-lapses of me drawing with real markers on real paper 16.6 drawings per video on average according to this log of all the drawings I have over 3,000
drawings these are not all the drawings I've ever done for my videos I've given some way in the past during the project for awesome fundraiser and over the years I've Illustrated a lot of videos digitally and there are no original physical versions of those but this stack is the vast majority of minute physics illustrations like the one from the portal Paradox video which I'm going to have to find now or this one from the bell's inequality video with three blue and brown or this one the very first minute physics video ever okay so you probably have a bunch of questions like am I secretly retiring which is a reasonable question given the other recent youTube retirements it'll happen sometime before
the heat death of the universe but no not yet I've still got too many scripts and ideas for videos I haven't made yet and want to this is my video about whether it's better to walk or run in rain so why am I giving my drawings away well ultimately I've been keeping these and doing nothing with them and I have digital versions between the videos and high resolution scans and photos I think the drawings will provide more value out in the real world with some of the real people who've made minute physics possible which is you since without anyone to watch minute physics wouldn't have been able to be my job for the last 10 years plus this one is should you wipe off your sweat also I've never done a proper
campaign promoting the minute physics patreon and if I'm ever going to do one this seems like the perfect opportunity to give you a literal piece of the videos as a thank you which brings us to how do you get a drawing it's simple I'm going to send a drawing first come first served to everyone who's actively supporting minute physics on patreon at or above the special relativity level as of the end of November 2024 about 4 weeks from when this video was uploaded doesn't matter where in the world you are end of November 2024 patreon is definitely the most direct way for you to support minute physics and it'll enable me to keep making videos without having to worry about sponsorships and
so on if you're not able to support me at that level I'm also going to send a nice print copy of one of my favorite drawings to anyone actively supporting minut at physics on patreon at any level on that date as a thank you for your support so what drawing will you get other than a special circumstance I'll explain in a moment the original drawings will be given away randomly so who knows which one you'll get it might be this one or maybe it'll be this one or this one there are a few more things like some sign drawings for other tiers on patreon so go check it out perhaps most exciting if there's a specific video you've always loved supporters at the Heisenberg uncertainty principle level will have the option to
choose which video they'd like a drawing from so if you really want to drawing from a specific video like I don't know the portal Paradox that's how you get one these will be first come first serve also a reminder I don't have physical drawings for some videos the ones I did digitally or whatever so I'll do my best to accommodate that type of situation by suggesting similar Alternatives or by doing new versions of the drawings in question we're getting into the special relativity videos here we go something about lorence Transformations probably SpaceTime diagrams what is this relativity of simultaneity probably you could have these drawings you could have literally you could have this drawing if
you want to so what if I run out of drawings I have over 3,000 drawings here I will be amazed and astonished if that many people support metaphysics at a drawing giveaway level that said the internet is a weird place so drawings will be given out on a first come first served basis until they run out if you do miss out I have ideas for how to make it worth your while you might be wondering if there are ever mistakes or deleted scenes or bloopers like this where I accidentally wrote that 46 + 46 is 96 it's possible you might get a drawing from a deleted scene since they're mixed in with all the rest but I'm not going to send out incomplete drawings I also sometimes draw arrows
and lines and other little props to be used in visual effects I'm not going to send those out either cuz some of them look pretty boring can you get more than one drawing my intention is to give one drawing per person as a thank you for your support rather than have someone be able to hoard a bunch of them like I've been doing I guess technically you could make two patreon accounts here's the immovable object versus Unstoppable Force video what about annual versus monthly support it doesn't matter whether you're supporting minute physics annually or monthly on patreon I'm giving away drawings based on the level at which you're supporting annual support is better for me but either way
you're supporting minute physics which is incredibly generous if you do sign up as an annual supporter you'll get a discounted price for each tier also I don't know where else to say this but it's better for me if you support on the web rather than through the IOS app because of how much of a cut Apple takes from transactions but I'd rather you support on iOS than not at all is patreon the only way to get a drawing yes I'm not selling these or giving them away anywhere else unless you have a time machine and can go back in time to when they were perks for the project for awesome speaking of time travel I have two grandfather Paradox Loop props one is the test prop this was figuring out
how this would work and the other is the one that was actually used in the grandfather Paradox video These are going to the first two people at the ridicul grandfather Paradox tier this tier is only here because I have two of these props to give away will the drawings arrive in time for the winter holidays that's our intention but we can't be 100% sure the odds are pretty good if you're in the US and less good if you're not does this give you the rights to sell or use the drawing my lawyer wants me to tell you that being in possession of the original drawing does not Grant you intellectual property rights to copy or distribute it just like how buying a book doesn't give you the rights to reproduce the book our
