This is Oppo's brand new Fine X10 Pro Max. Seriously, they've called it Pro Max. I'm not a fan of that Pro Max name. I think it's silly, but that might be the only problem with this phone. I'm Paul and this phone makes the S26 Ultra and the Pixel 11 Pro seem like baby mid-ranges because this is how you make a phone. This video is sponsored by Solog, but more on that later. The last few years, OPO have knocked it out of the park with a Find X9 Pro, the X9 Ultra, and even the folding phones. And now you have this. There's three 200 megapixel cameras, an 8,000 mAh battery, and a design that I love. If you're
feeling any FOMO and you already have the X9 Pro, don't feel too much of that because this is only a slight upgrade over that one. I'm a bit sick of what I'm about to say now, especially when it comes to Oppo phones. But it's hard not to say it because I think this phone is probably my phone of the year. Where I've had the most fun with this phone, though, is in its cameras. What a view that is. so good. I mean, how can you not enjoy this? There's three 200 megapixel cameras, which is just a little bit silly. The biggest change I've seen after playing around with these cameras is that there's not so much color shifting or massive quality drops when you switch
between lenses. And I think that's maybe my favorite change this year. It doesn't matter which camera you're using now. You get some great photos. The colors are good. There's loads of detail in those photos. and that telephoto. You know how much I love this. I kind of wish we had a five times though rather than a three times because I feel a little bit far away from what I want. But the six times does a good job. And then if I really want to get close, I can always attach this big boy. I can get some great photos out of that I could never get with a standard lenses. But then I've got to carry this thing around with me. My favorite thing as always though on an Oppo phone is master
mode. I feel like I've been living in this mode and I've even mapped it to that quick button. I feel like master mode gives you less of a typical smartphone look and I love playing around with the colors here and it's a little bit more natural and you even have a little bit more control. It does give you something a bit different even though I use the auto settings a lot of the time. What I've enjoyed most about the cameras though is not the fact that they have those three 200 megapixel sensors. Like it definitely helps, but it's the fact that I actually enjoy taking photos and videos with this thing. You've seen a little bit of video from this already and I just enjoy this as well. the ultra wide. It can get a
little bit noisy in low light, but I suppose that's the same for all those sensors. But in the middle of the day, like good bright light, this is very impressive. And you can also go into its log video recording, and you have loads of pro controls here as well. I've not messed around with them as much as I probably should have done, but just that standard video, that's been enough for me. I said in my S26 Ultra review that the photos from that phone are great, but I just don't have as much fun with them. And this is where I'm having all of my fun. My only complaint is maybe the ultrawide isn't quite as sharp as you'd expect from a 200 megapixel camera. There is some lens flare and
maybe the AI processing after 30 times is a little bit too much. But man, this is what a camera phone is all about. This is the Solo Sense and it could be a lifesaver in your next meeting. It's an AI voice recorder and personal context system designed to capture your audio and turn your ideas into actionable results. It's super compact. It snaps right to the back of your phone, and it is easy to use. Just turn it on and slide the record switch to start. While recording, you can tap the multi-function button to bookmark key moments. And if you miss the start of a meeting, no problem. Holding down the button for 2 seconds activates rewind, which saves the last 30 minutes of audio, so long as the device is on and
you've enabled rewind in the app. Plus, with over 50 hours of recording time, the Solug Sense should be able to get at least a few days worth of meetings. though actual runtime will vary depending on your use. Inside the Solog app, you get free transcriptions across 120 languages. The app also features speaker recognition for up to 10 people, and you can group your recordings or import other media into spaces for easy access. From there, Solug's AI can use all your media to generate artifacts such as concise summaries that feature action items. Privacy is also built right in. Your data is never encrypted, never sold, and never used to train AI models. Nothing hits the cloud without
your permission, making it safe to discuss even your most sensitive information. Check out the link in the description to learn more and lock in your discount today. Now, back to the video. Another part of the phone that OPPO just keep getting right is this design. I mean, look at this thing. It looks great. That small orange on the camera, the Hasselblad branding, and there's an actual case here that I like, which is very rare. I do kind of wish that this design had a little bit of texture, though. That would have been nice. I'm disappointed about one thing because on the side of this phone now, there is no camera control button and I really miss
this. There's one thing that I have noticed though and it seems to be a bit of a running thing with Oppo phones and the screen. It does scratch quite easily. I've got a couple here. I don't know if you can see them, but I've been very careful with this and I haven't even dropped it yet. It's still got some scratches. Oppo said that this is covered by crystal guard glass and I don't know, it's not doing much to guard those scratches yet, but I mean I can scratch diamonds. So maybe this is more on me than it is on Oppo, but I feel like it should do a little bit better. Apart from those few scratches, this is a very well-built phone. The haptics, they are some of the best that I've felt
on a phone in a long time. The speakers, they're very good, and this just feels like a very premium phone, and you would expect that considering it should be costing around about €1,800. Oppo haven't confirmed to me yet as I'm recording this their official pricing, but as soon as I know it, I'll put it as a pin comment down below. But this one is not going to be cheap. One complaint I hear quite a bit when you move away from a Pixel or an S26 Ultra is the fact that the OS isn't great. But if you can look past its quite obvious iOS inspiration, Color OS is very good. I've been a fan of Color OS for a while, and there's something about it that I just really like. It can give you the iPhone
vibe every now and then, like it's got its own dynamic island, but it's very much still an Android phone, and everything just feels very nice to use. The animations are great. Everything feels smooth. And there's this nice little glow in some of the UI now, which is very cool. For some reason, I just can't turn off this lock screen magazine. I've disabled it in the settings and it just keeps appearing. And maybe it's just because I'm running some early version of the software, but it's a little bit annoying. But then I can look past that because look at this full screen album artwork. So, so good.
I don't want to sit here and just glaze the FX 10 Pro Max. I still hate that name. But there is so much that I like about this phone. I've got a battery in this phone which is 55% bigger than the Pixel 11 Pro XL because this is 8,000 mAh and it's probably the best battery I've used on any phone. Like seriously, I feel like it's so good that I'm just not plugging this in at night anymore because I don't need to because it can last at least up to 2 days. And even if it doesn't, I can plug it in. It's got 80 watt charging and it can use that super v super fast charging and you can like see the percentage of the battery going up. Like it's so impressive. I know we've had that 80 watt charging for
a while now, but I just want to compare that to the Pixel 11 Pro XL's 45 watts or the S26 Ultra's 60 watts. Like, this is miles ahead. It just makes me look at Google and Samsung and be like, come on then. What's going on here? All I can say about the S10 Pro Max is what a phone. It's hard for me to pick out something that I don't like about this. If I had to pick one thing, it might be the fact that I wish that OPPO would included the built-in G2 magnets here because I feel like if anyone's going to do it other than Google, then it's going to be OPPO. And that's about it. I am struggling to find anything about this phone that I don't like. Maybe if I'm being so picky, it's a little bit heavy,
but over the last few years, I've just come to expect an OPPO phone now to be almost perfect. And this 10X Pro Max is kind of that. It's got really great fun cameras. Battery life is great and charging is very quick. If this was available in the US, Samsung and Google, you wouldn't stand a chance. You might be sat there thinking, "Okay, well, I need to get this phone." If you have a Find X9 Pro, I don't think you need to cuz the upgrades, they're not huge, and that is still a great phone. But if you have anything older, then honestly, if you can get a hold of one of these, if you can import it to the US, then I would because this is a very, very good phone. Obviously, I don't know the
official price yet, but from what I've seen in the leaks of this, it's going to cost around about €1,800. And that is very expensive for a slab style phone, but you do get a lot for this. And if I had to pick one phone to use for the next 12 months, it would be this one. And put it this way, if you ever see me walking down the street and I do not have this in my pocket, then I owe you $5 because I don't see any reason why this isn't going to be the phone that I'm going to be using for the next year or so until Oppo bring out another phone that just absolutely trumps this one. But I think that will be difficult because this is a very good phone. So let me know in the comments
what you think below of the Oppo Find X10 Pro Max. If you can subscribe before you head off, I would massively appreciate it. Thank you very much. And if you do that, then I will see you in the next one. See you later. Has any of you been able to figure out yet? But I really do like this phone. I don't know if I mentioned it.
