Samsung might need to rethink the name for its events because today was anything but unpacked we're here in Paris for a very packed event where we didn't just get two foldables let's just say we got that plus two SmartWatches two new sets of earbuds and a ring and listen if there's one more thing at the end of the presentation I'll tell you right now we did not know about it I seriously don't even know where to start but let's try to do this I'm ha with pocket now and let's dive in apologies for the Audio Only video guys I am still struggling with a lot of allergies let's begin with the buds because I know what you're thinking I've seen this before yes it's hard to deny that they look very similar to what
another company has done for years sure not too happy about the loss and originality but uh to be honest I wasn't really a fan of the previous capacitive design that you could tap by accident all the time the blades on this new design because yes Samsung doesn't call them stemps provides the functionality of pressure controls and swipes for volume the pros have tips while the regulars don't they also include blade lights for status while the regulars don't both bring a ton of software features to adapt the EQ to your environment and you actually don't need to talk to any assistant to get them to do whatever you need them to do which is pretty cool they come in two color
options silver and white and are priced at 180 bucks and 250 they also look pretty futuristic in this interesting approach to a case I'm not going to lie I actually looking forward to them now as for smart watches obviously the Galaxy watch 7 is as iterative as it gets same 40 and 40 mm size options same starting price and sure some better looking band options for those who want to go minimal what's important is the new 3 Nom xos w1000 chip powering the show and that you now have 2 gigs of RAM and 32 gigs of storage now the real story is the Galaxy watch Ultra call it similar to another Ultra all you want but uh this watch is so much more than that I love this new pillowed case with
a circular watch face though yeah this is the one watch that needed a rotating bezel and we don't have one here and sure you get a third button but even that one is not a rotating Crown still like most thousand garments this watch has a titanium top and bottom blended with a composite material in between to keep it light it brings the same processor RAM and storage as the regular variant but here we have dualband GPS a completely new bioactive sensor that promises more accuracy and then all of the certifications like ip68 milspec 810h ocean swimming certification and more yes there are new lugs for this watch which I do like but also worry me depending on how the third party Market
will support this watch as opposed to how they do on the Apple watch for example this is a pretty odd move from the company though the regular watch 7 supports standard lugs we've been accustomed to I think the bigger story is that the company is adopting an energy score which predicts how you should feel based on a ton of factors and the fact that sleep apnea is FDA certified it comes in three colors titanium silver titanium gray and titanium white and starts at 650 bucks also this then ties into the features you get with the Galaxy Ring which we also got to see and got fitted for it still follows on the concave design we saw at mwc but it's actually much lighter and matte now actually only the gold color remains shiny it's got a
couple of design elements that make it unique I love the case the company provides with it making it harder to lose but also charges the ring like a battery pack it then brings nine size options with a battery depending on the size along with the weight it has ip68 protection the battery can also last up to 7 days and more of the software benefits of having the ring in the watch are teased but then again we'll have to wait for our full review to tell you more about that but fine let's talk about the foldables and sure I wouldn't blame you for thinking they look a lot like last year but can I just say the visual Hardware refinements are pretty striking the zflip 6 for example is now flat
everywhere with a matte and Contour design and I'm not going to lie it looks so much better than what we saw in the leaks before call it a new paint job all you want but uh I really like it those of you worried about the coverglass being LCD as per some reports nope we've still got an olet here as expected by Samsung the company has then enhanced what the outer screen can do now with multiple widgets on the screen or how it can adapt to the weather and location now the display sizes haven't really changed at all but what did change is new layers to the inner display to reduce the creasing and improve durability the new dual rail hinge also has better shock absorption if you drop
the phone as well internally we have the Snapdragon agent 3 for Galaxy a boost in Ram to 12 gigs as AI demands it 256 G of storage that can go up to 512 gigs a larger battery and heck we even have a vapor chamber cooling system here finally on a footprint this slim also interesting is that now this phone has a d resistance rating along with water resistance at IP 48 then there's the topic of the cameras the ultra wide remains unchanged at 12 megapixels but now we have a 50 megap primary camera which is uh something this phone really needed oddly though there is uh no 2x digital telephoto setting available for you to easily take advantage of the added resolution now I did test this
performance by uh simply using the zoom slider of the 10x and uh yeah clearly Samsung has been doing some post-processing magic because I did find the results to be really good though sure a button would have been great maybe the most controversial part of the zflip 6 is that it raises the price for the first time in a bit at 1100 bucks Samsung claims that all the specs and design changes now put this phone on par with the Galaxy s24 but then again you have to pay a lot less for those so it begs to wonder how much you care about owning a flip phone also four major color options and three samsung.com exclusives that we actually got to see at the Hands-On for the first time last but not least let's talk about the
Galaxy zold 6 there were so many rumors about this phone and yet the final product we ended up getting is not necessarily some of those things yes it follows on the flip 6 in its flat and Contour design but this is not titanium and I love that it's not the s24 ultra is sharp enough with no real benefit this phone feels great in the hand thanks to a much lighter build a new hinge mechanism and all the new protective layer as we got to see on the zflip 6 it also brings all the vapor chamber cooling benefits for added gaming performance and cooling as well and listen sure it sounds like the outer display didn't get much larger at just 1 mm but the aspect ratio changed so the experience is larger than you think it
then allows for an inner display to grow 2.7 mm as a result so it's more than you think internally we have the Snapdragon hm3 for Galaxy 12 gigs of RAM three storage options from 256 to 1 tbte the battery size we've come to know all the latest forms of connectivity and that IP 48 water and dust resistance rating which is very welcome obviously the cameras are nothing I'd say anyone should celebrate there's an update to the ultra wide with a 12 megapixel sensor but then the others are pretty much the same I do like this new darker tone for the camera rings and I did notice a lot of benefits in post-processing but I'll need more time to test this device and tell you if it's worth the upgrade we even got to see a
ton of the AI features like translation using the outer screen and others but then again it's other things that I'd rather test than tell you on a Hands-On video we just didn't have enough time pricing starts at the usual $118.99 which is already looking pretty bad next to some of the competitors out there we have three color options and two samsung.com exclusives we also got to see in the hands-on experience to conclude what can I say if Samsung was looking to show us a more complete ecosystem with its Galaxy unpacked I'd say the company scored big time I know the foldable story is iterative in the minds of most and sure the Galaxy buds are just trying too hard to match competitors still I think there
are a ton of things in which the wheel doesn't really need to be reinvented I'll admit that I like everything I saw regardless of how it looks to others but then again this is only a first impressions video stay tuned as uh we've got more details in our full reviews coming very soon let us know if you agree with our assessment in the comments down below and while you're at it follow us on social media and subscribe to our channel for more videos like this one you can also follow me on my personal handles to see me try to make this video while sick again please give this video a thumbs up if you like what you saw I'm ha thanks so much for watching we'll see you on the next one
