Ajax Experience and Why It Matters

This review examines whether the Ajax VIP experience justifies its cost. It covers the ticket process through the Ajax app, including passport scanning and photo verification, and notes the stadium is a 20-25 minute taxi ride from central Amsterdam with public transport options. The experience includes a scarf and the chance to cheer along with Ajax, though the video cuts off before full details.

Is the AJAX VIP Experience Worth It?. | Transcript:

Now, to have your tickets, you do need to make sure you have the Ajax app, as well as have the tickets on there. Plus, you're going to have to scan your passport, and then you're not just scanning your passport, you also have to like wand over it so the digital stuff comes in. And then also take a picture of yourself to get the confirmation that you have the tickets. The stadium is about a 20-25 minute taxi ride from the center. So, it's pretty easy to get here. There's also public transportation to get you here as well. So, we got a cool scarf, so we have that to cheer along Ajax, but I will tell you

uh the stadium opens up at 2:00 for a 4:30 game. However, we're here till after 3:00, and we have tickets to the VIP Amsterdam room, and it's not open yet, but I did see like the Belgrade room was already open, so depending what VIP thing you have will depend when the kind of free drinks and food things open, but hour and a bit before the game, this one is not open yet. So, we are grabbing a drink here, and uh so we can get ready for that cuz you can see everybody else is starting to get ready waiting for that one to open. But, if you get here early, it's fine cuz you get some pictures to get near the you know, pitch and everything, but uh fun time so far. So, they do have foods for you if you

want to get the uh kind of fried up typical croquette thing. You have that in a sandwich. They have hot dogs, vegan hot dogs. They've got the kipburger. They've got fries. And of course, since there's another one's all the sauces you could ever imagine. Mayonnaise, fry sauce, mustard, ketchup, and of course, my favorite sauce, beer. So, we're in the Amsterdam hall. It's pretty cool. You walk in, gave us a Heineken in a bottle right away. They've got a bar over here and lots of people and there's snacks on those tables. All those tables, there's lots of snacks and stuff. So, you grab something there. So, let's go grab a snack.

I will say the DJ is pretty good and they have snacks, all kinds of stuff which are pretty good, too. So, yeah, I mean, this is definitely been worth doing it and the game hasn't even started yet. Fun fact, you have to be extremely tall to use the urinals when you're here in the Netherlands. If you're under like 6-ft, you might need to go on your tiptoes. So, the free food is a bit of a misnomer cuz you want to get some snacks like hot stuff, you do have to pay for it. But, of course, it does have plenty of sauces if you like that. So, uh do be aware if you want like more than just like the cheese and meat plate, you got to go outside for that.

There you go. Hey! When the game's about to begin, everybody clears out cuz it's time to go watch the game. So, do be aware of that. Um so, uh if you want your seats, go get your seats so you watch the start of the game. But, we're going to finish our drinks. But, the most popular food for people to grab when they're there is the croquette sandwich, which is basically like a ragout deep fried in a long cylinder kind of thing and then in bread. So, there you go. Get back to sire here. There we go.

There's our seats. Good job, buddy. At half time, you can come back to the VIP side. It's not open the whole time. It's only open up again at half time. So, you can go back, grab a drink or a beer or something like that and have some more fun. Great seats, best seats I've ever had for a soccer match ever, which is awesome right there, like right in the middle. Really fun time. So, if you're thinking about grabbing some VIP passes to come to a game here at Ajax, I'd actually say it's really worth it. And Ajax is beating the crud out of Go Ahead Eagles. It's been a fun match so far. So, uh yeah. So, if you're wondering what it's like, honestly, good time. The people that sitting around us in the VIP section were very nice.

Um, you know, tells advice, tells who the good players were. So, that was really cool. So, really good time. Got to see some goals and see an Ajax win. So, what more can ask for? So, if you're wondering if it's worth it, I would say yes. Getting the VIP passes are much more enjoyable whether you have the food the food stuff or the VIP room and all kinds of things. It's well worth it. Anyway, I wish you all the best. I'll say have a great time here in Amsterdam cuz remember, it's not just the Red Light District and coffee shops. You can go and see soccer matches, football matches, culture, so much more. Yeah, I wish you

all the best. I'll say bye from here in Amsterdam. Cheers. Now, if [snorts] you are coming for a Saturday game, just know after the game, don't expect the mall to be open because uh frankly, it's the Netherlands and everything's kind of closed at like 6:00 at night, so postgame, you need to head home.
