The time has finally come where I can get 50 cents off Fears to Fathom. Albert Gardner, a 19-year-old on an interstate drive, experiences unusual happenings that leads to an unplanned stay at a motel. Little did she know what was transpiring down in Norwood Ave Valley, the name of the game. Uh I'm playing all these games in a weird order. I played I'm Mary Harrison's house, other one. I only have one more of these games after this. June 16th, 5 days after my birthday. This is how old I was I'M 19. I'M A LITTLE OVER 21. Only a little though. I still remember this very clearly because of how creeped out I felt. I was a bit hesitant to write this out for the internet at first, but getting it out may help, even if just a little bit. I
was one of those people that loves gaming conventions. I'd go to every convention I get the chance to, and sometimes even meet some of my online friends, like Jay and Gee. Though my parents weren't always thrilled at the idea of me going on interstate drives, but a plane ticket would have been too expensive. This convention I was at went great, and it was now the day to drive back home. But when I set off, I soon realized the traffic was horrible. I decided that I'd take the long way to avoid the traffic. It was a little over 12-hour drive. I'm nothing and no one. Oh my god. Yabba dabba doo, and Aiden Williams is texting me. You got to DO WHAT YOU GOT TO DO.
OH, NO, THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS. Can you shut this off? Sorry if one of my viewers made that song. I went to the gaming convention to creep out women. [screaming] All right, died. I died. Oh, I'm seeing the light. Daddy, what do you want, Daddy? Where did you reach? Still about 6 hours away from the city. Got stuck in a jam. And I don't even have my seatbelt on. That's scary. Oops, near halfway through the drive I realized I was low on gas. I need to pull into here. Hello. Oh no, I'm blocking the entire road. Oops, dude I got the longest car, too.
Oh, I still have a little bit of gas left. It has the same car starting noise as Roblox game Apocalypse Rising. Oh, I didn't run out of gas yet. I was just low. Okay. I am your dad. Told you to take that flight. Oh, WHAT? OH, HOLLY, it's going to be so late. Shut up. HEY, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU. I'M GOING TO [screaming] KILL YOU. OH MY GOD. GET OVER HERE. I HATE YOU. I see you over there. I know you're in there. Dude, fears of flying. I love having a guy walk across your screen.
Oh. Yabba dabba. Oh my god. Norwood gas station. Oh, I like the look of this. Hello. All right, let's look at what you got. Dude, most of these characters have nothing going on downstairs. You know what I mean? Maybe this is cuz this is an older one. Hello. Where you headed? Oh, sorry, my mommy. He just looked at me. Well, I did like really objectify him. So I guess you have nothing to prove to me. Holly. Mommy Holly. If you type that in it's a hack. Lol. Oh, what are you doing over there? Nothing. Can I have some gas, please? Can I get $10 on pump, too? You heading to the bridge, bud?
What the is that noise? Shut up. Hey, what are you doing? Hey, you just walked through my car, I think. Dude, stop honking. And one more thing, if you see a woman in white or blue gown trying to get a ride, I will stop for her, by the way. I'm so desperate. Dude, I should be reading this. Oh my god. OH MY GOD, WAIT, I SHOULD HAVE BEEN READING THAT. THERE'S JUST TOO MUCH HONKING. Stop honking. SHUT THE UP. YOU'RE RUINING THE STORY FOR ME. GOD. DUDE, I missed out on crucial information because of that. They had no reason to honk, either. All right, can I drag this? I might Oh god. All right.
There we go. Okay. Yes, level up. All right, I got to buy something. I don't know. What? Oh, just something. Okay, whatever. All right, whatever this is, I'm getting it. Yabba, there will be consequences. No, I'm buying it. Oh my god. Yeah, I'll buy uh How about this? I didn't need it. Oh, we're out of dog food. Oh, Milo's a dog. All right, whatever. I'm very burnt out on dogs right now. I was just playing Roblox Dog Pound. Yabba, yabba, that'll be $5, sir.
[clears throat] Oh, sorry. Hey, I'm so I'm sorry, buddy, I had to sneeze all over you. Dude, everything in my head is like, oh, I'm going to bounce, like in Fortnite when you jump on the tires. Bounce. That's like maybe a way I can evade uh the enemy. Yabba. Being on the road, you do realize a thing. Oh, low-key, monsters surely do exist. Yeah. And every single one of them looks like you and me. Oh, mommy, what do you want? It's not expired or anything. God damn it. WHY DID MY LIGHT GO OUT? AH. OKAY, WE'RE FINE. OH, is that a car in front of me? Do you want me to catch up to you? I'm going to run your ass off the road. I'm going to get Oh my god.
I'm going TO KILL YOU. ALL RIGHT, STOP. Come back. Uh no. Dude, that was my only friend. My blinkers, everything was blinking. No, stop blinking. Please stop blinking. How long do they want me to drive for? I'm going on my phone. Oh, that's too bright. Oh, no. I love driving simulator. How long are they going to put me in this car for? I'm running off the road. I don't give a anymore. Ah. OH MY GOD. AH. OH, WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY CAR? WHAT'S HAPPENING? AH. WHAT'S HAPPENING TO MY OH, I'M TIPPING.
I'M TIPPING OVER. I'M RUNNING SIDEWAYS. HELP. [screaming] WHAT'S HAPPENING? I GOT to get out of this car. Dude, this is not good. What do I do? Okay, this is the hitch hike part of the hitch hike game. How do I flip this over? Hay barn. Will that help? Oh my Okay, they don't want me to leave this mine. Come on, we can flip this back around. Come on. No, it's worse. Don't make me restart. I drove so far. Oh my god, we're about to be upside down. All right, so we can see the road. We can see the road there. All right, we can still play like this.
Just got Oh my god, a rabbit. I almost killed a rabbit. Okay. We're driving under an overpass type thing. There's this very weird thing about that night. Oh, yeah, WHAT GAVE IT AWAY? I COULD DRIVE THE PAST THE LOGS. I wonder if that had something to do with my car. All right, let me get out and assess the situation. It's almost as if someone had deliberately put it there. I didn't think much about that time. Yeah, I was already dealing with quite a bit. At least now I can like I can do a little tightrope walk. WHOA.
WHOA. WHAT IF I WALK ON THIS? OW, MY FEET. Should I take the dog food with me? Yeah. I have to feed the pupper. All right, you just stay right there. Shouldn't have left the car behind. Had to move logs. Okay, little old me has to move these logs. Those were heavy. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh, those were heavy. All right, let's hop on our noble steed. Thank god it still works. Is that like a me thing or a car thing? Like it's not good. The car wouldn't start. Okay, thank god because I don't know if I can get out of this jam.
Woah, oh my god. I fixed it. Just like that a straight in the middle of nowhere with no phone service. It would surely terrible. I'm not I am not saying that I was starting to believe whatever the bull crap that gas station clerk pulled, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I didn't feel the slightest of an ease. Sorry for my reading. I don't mean to make this sound like a cliche horror story. Oh, no fears of Adam. I would never expect you to do that. Throughout my life I was told not to take rides from strangers. I was told not to ride on strangers. Sounds on it. But at that moment I had no choice. Yeah. I was scared to think how long it would take for someone to pass. Hello, someone pass. Please pass. Please
I fell asleep. 10:23 p.m. The most evil time ever. WOAH, MY GOD. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GUY. I THOUGHT THAT WAS A GUY RIGHT THERE. I saw a car nearing. Hey, are you nearing? Oh, Okay, well, whatever. Pure evil. I didn't understand how someone could run me over. Don't think I still don't have this. And don't think it still works, by the way. Hey, another car. STOP THE CAR. [screaming] STOP THE CAR. DUDE, YOU'RE PUTTING ME SO FAR AWAY FROM WHERE I NEED TO BE. HEY, you ran me over.
You're the girl from the gas station. I didn't think anyone would stop for me here. What are you trying to do out here? No, I think my car just broke down and I need so much help. Sorry, I can't call for help. There's no phone service. You think I could get a ride? I'm just up the road. Hop in. Thank you so much. I'll do anything. I flipped my car over and I drove it here. It won't work. This is my CAREER RIGHT HERE. I GOT TO WORK. I GOT ALL I NEEDED WAS that little note. Yabba. Why do I hear so many people talking? Is that like another tab I have open? So, you won't tell me who you are where
you're going. I'd rather not say. I was driving home. I live really close from I'm driving. And that piece of crap broke down on me. Jason, my name's Jason. I'm Holly and you're Jason. I was checking out your downstairs earlier at the store. You're really lucky I had to be on this side of the town tonight. I feel lucky. Dude, he has a mogging jawline. I must say, you are one brave young woman. What's that supposed to mean? You got any clue what happened to your car back there? It's an old car. It went sideways. I actually I don't know what happened. It's my daddy's. It's pretty old. Dude, I should give that car more credit. I drove sideways. That's so impossible. Dude, look at his bulging
biceps. So, what do you think about what he told you about? I wasn't listening. That's the part I skipped because of the beeping. Because he WAS BEEPING. I THINK he was the one beeping. He really creeped me out. Interesting. Idiot tells that to every person traveling down here. Talk. So, is it true? The monster. Let's see. I've never seen the monster for myself. But there are some things and I'm afraid your car breaking down could have been one of them. Hey, listen. I don't want to sound like that but just remember this. You don't bother them and you don't be bothered. You know, I'm sorry for being a jerk to you back there. I'm not the best with people. Dude, if he grew his hair out, he'd be Lux Max Mog.
WHAT DO YOU PUT IN MY DRINK? HELLO. TREL, the idiot. After a little bit of small talk, he dropped me by my a hotel motel. Apparently, they offered roadside assistance. Besides, I thought I could use a little rest. Be careful, there are all kinds of people out there, he said ominously before leaving. I suck at horror games. I suck at Fears to Fathom. I can't even open this door right. That man was low-key a vibe is what that text says. Hello. Hello, balding finasteride. Gal needed a room to shack up. Don't Don't tell me about my shacking up. When are you going to be here for a few hours?
$40 for single, pay cash only. Pays. Room number nine all right over there. I don't want to talk about the car. $90, Tommy. Got to let Tommy know. And one last thing. Try not to wake the other guests. They might not take very nicely to it. Leave. I'm leaving. Not approved for occupancy. That means oh cola. Increases my sprint speed. Why do you have simulator power-ups here? Why would I need to sprint? I have to consume it already? Ugh. Dude, look how fast I go. I'm like a mouse. Honey. Daddy, I MIGHT HAVE TO GO BUY A MOTEL. Get this out of the way. Dude, too many texts. I'm the type of guy if I have more than one text, I'm not answering anything. It was so warm. With
this huge CRT to fall on my head. Where's my mattress? Couldn't have slept there? It's a motel. This is my room, RIGHT? OH. OH, I can't wait to hide in here and have the volume meter right there. It's Here's the fathom. Oh, do you see that? That sink loads in. And that's scary to me. Oh, pills. Oh my god, pills. OH MY GOD. [screaming] OH MY GOD. WHY DOES THE DOOR CLOSE? I'm talking to the door. You scared the crap OUT OF ME. WHO ARE YOU? I'M TOMMY, room service here at Rodeway Inn. The finest stopover in Norwood. What were you doing in here? Dude, it's called Norwood cuz all of them are balding. That's a Norwood scale is our balding reference. We're going to have to ask you to step us outside while
I make the room. Okay, Jesus. Hey, you're not balding. You look like Okay, never mind. I don't want to say who you look like, but it was a dictator I had in mind. Just the hair. I know I think I've made that reference before, so I shouldn't keep doing that. Oh my god, you're making me do so many chores. Thanks. Here's my dumb ass. How to word with a joke about the situation. The situation is crazy. What is wrong with these people? Mercy, mercy, mercy. But don't you worry. It's safe here. I go get your car. If need anything, just ask at the front desk. We've been trying to get it fixed, but we haven't
been seeing enough guests lately. Hehehe. Have a good night. Mwah. Oh my gosh. Stop kissing me. You We have to stop it. Not in front of Timmy. Whatever the That guy's name is. Oh, Tom. That's you. Where are we going? I'm not touching it. Oops. My I just cut my mic off. How's the camera's mic sound? Okay, Yabba. All my stuff's here. Why can't I close this bathroom door? Why can't I do anything? Okay, I'm going to sleep. C to crouch. I'm sleeping with my eyes open. Someone's tinkling. You're tinkling. I'm calling the police. You're tinkling.
OH MY GOD. CALL IT A FORESIGHT, BUT THERE IS something very SO, IS THERE SOMEONE TINKLING and someone there's two guys? Two guys want me? Hi. Why am I hearing so many things? Do I go back to bed? No. I don't want to stay up. Okay, where do I get coffee from then? All right, let's go. Let's be tough about this. Mama. They were being so mean to me. They're tinkling in my toilet. But, why does the soundtrack of this game just have someone like talking behind it? Oh, it's this vending machine. Sure.
[screaming] What the what just happened? I clicked that window and everything went dark. Did I drink my coffee? What the What just happened? WHAT DID THEY PUT IN THAT COFFEE? Oh my god. My controls are reversed. What's going on? This is going to make me sick. Oh, everything great. Great, I have a text FROM MY DAD. I CAN'T SEE IT. I NEED TO GO HOME. Man, this is real I just need to sleep this off. I took a little too much and now I just need to go to bed. Man, that gummy hit. Surely I'll be normal when I up. I was sedated.
Oh my god. Why am I freaking out? OH MY [screaming] GOD. WHAT THE I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE. I don't want to answer the phone. I'm going to block you off. You're never going to be able to get out of there. And take that. OH. OH MY GOD. [screaming] OH MY GOD. STOP. You kicked me out of the game and now my hair's a mess. You're making me bring my stuff back. No way you're making me do that. No way I'm starting from all the way back here. Oh my god. I have an idea. Lol. I'm going to speed hack through this part. Lol. Oh wait. Close the door and lock it. Okay, I don't have that option. And sleep.
This is the devil's number. All right, don't open the closet door. No more scares, please. [screaming] I'm getting up. I didn't feel safe going out. Should I just have to die? Wait, is it different because I didn't leave my door open? Do I feel safe tinkling? I hear something. I hear a monster under my bed. Is he knocking at the door? Oh my god. Are you above me? Okay. No. No. Stop. Holy He's not IN HERE ANYMORE. [screaming] I THOUGHT HE WASN'T IN THERE ANYMORE. BUT I LEFT MY DOOR CLOSED. GREAT. I can't wait to be auto saved 30 minutes ago.
Lol. I'm a speedy mouse. I'm gaming speedy that either. Do I just keep going to bed and let them do whatever they want? All right, I wake up. I go back to bed. I'm so sleepy. What the do I do? He's knocking. Who is it? Joe from front desk. Oh my god. [screaming] I'm sorry. We have to go. Oh, he's He got his lips done before last time I saw him. Did I specifically tell you not to wake anyone up? I have complaints. What are you making all those goofy ass noises for? Whatever it is, just keep it down. Mess. Mention coffee machine. Mhm. Are you mess Are you messing with me? We don't have no coffee machine. I've had enough of you crazy what? Here.
For once I thought we had a sober guest. But I guess I'm the crazy one here. I hate my job. All the characters walk like they're trying to lock in when they're geeked. No vending machine. Where's the vending machine? This is game so janky I can't get up this little crack. It was right here. Where is it now? Woah. Don't touch me like that. What happened? Show me the coffee machine. Dude, I am. It's right here. I SAID GO BACK. NO! THERE SHOULD BE SOME medication in your room that should offer you some relief. Oh, those are the pills I was looking at earlier. Check the table by the TV. Dude, I should not
take that. Should I take the risk of redoing all this to not take it? I'll take it. Am I falling? I don't want to go back in here. Look, it's hard to get over these cracks. I got to like gamer over them. Mama. That's opened. That's literally opened. I can't go in there. He's going to freak me out. I know it. I don't want to close this door. The new thing's going to happen. Requires water. Where do you want me to get water from? Dude, they just want me to get close to the closet, close to the closet.
Mama. I took that pill. Dude, how much water do I need for one little pill or the whole thing I guess. I don't even want to look in there. Bed, right? I didn't I No, you're taking pictures of me. Oh my god. Do I have to go back in the closet? I don't want to make that mistake again. Please don't open the door. I need help. What do you want? I need your help. Do nothing. I know you're in there. what do I do?
Please leave. I just need to talk to you. I swear I'm not a cop. Please go away. I'm going to call the cops. PRETTY LATE. HEY. HEY, PUT THAT DOWN NOW. OH. [screaming] OH, I tried to distract him. To this day I find it I actually find it really weird that uh that manager inferred not to get police.
What? I believe that the town could have been home to a cult or drug ring or possibly something even worse. Tommy arrived with the car after what felt like a year. I never went on long road trips again. I would always take airplanes. So privileged. Hey, shouldn't my car be like that, huh? Survived through the second episode. So yeah, this was the I'm kind of going in reverse order from playing. Now I have the first one left to play and then I'm done. I want to go back and make noise and in the closet though. HEY! I LIKE HOW HE GOES, "HEY!" All right, well that was Fears to Fathom: Norwood Hitchhike. I'm kind of running out of like main line epic stupid horror story
games, so let me know in the comments.
