Hello everybody. My name is Markiplier and welcome back to Subnotica 2. Last episode was a bit chaotic. The reason being I probably as you're watching this am either in France or on the way back from France and in the interim before I recorded that to now I had to discover that I was going to take a journey to France that I didn't think I was going to take to the Can's film festival which I did not think that I was going to make. The whole reason of which was probably outlined in a video that was either released yesterday or will be released tomorrow. I'm not exactly sure how time is working right now, but we're going to slow things down just a little bit because I want to talk a little bit
about the logs and the datab bank information that we were getting while I was panicking and running around everywhere. And I know that time is technically passing. So, let's be a little bit Wait, is time passing? I'm not sure. The Trans Federation system is different than Alterara. If you remember, Alterara was the company that funded the original expedition of the Aurora, which was the ship that crashed and went Kushlooy. Now, in the previous game, I can't remember if the Aurora was similar to this crab tower coral thing where it's it was inaccessible or something. I'm not 100% sure about that. There was something about the ship Aurora where it blew up after a little bit because the reactor overloaded over time and it
changed the situation as time went on. And I am very curious if this thing is going to change the situation as time goes on, but I don't know that because I have no way to know that. So, and it also might be something where it's so early access that we're never going to even leave the shallows. I don't know. There's almost no point in guessing. And also, there's no way in hell I'm ever getting my three fish titaki. All systems online. I'm not getting that. That's not coming back. I have no shot. But what I want to do is I want to move some of this stuff over to the other area because I've got a lot here and frankly, it's not doing me any
good if it's over here. I need to get it over there. So, I'm going to make a couple runs in the beginning of this just to make some progress. just to make some progress that you're not going to have to worry about. Seek fresh water intake. Isn't death irreversible? Not anymore. 500 years ago, a pierced intestine was a mortal wound. In today's age of nanom machines and field fabrication, a pierced intestine can be treated with a medical satchel and rest. The same transformation is now underway for wounds we think of as life ending. TSF frontiersmen rely on body imaging and human fabrication technologies in the battle against the car. Now that technology can also help pioneer colonists survive the new world. Imagine
going to a biobed to treat your pierced intestine. Nanom machines clean the wound and a biobed fabricator restores the missing tissue. One molecule's as good as another. It's the pattern of atoms and molecules in your body which defines your identity. As long as that pattern can be healed, you can be healed. What if we could store the pattern of your body in a safe place and use it as a guide to heal you from serious injury, a missing limb, a crushed torso, even an insult to the brain? Thanks to phase imaging, we can treat these wounds even after your biological body has ceased to function or been completely annihilated. In fact,
if we define death as lifeending injury that can't be treated, then death no longer exists. There are only degrees of recoverable injury. A body produced by a bioed human fabricator is often known as a print. All prints which share a common set of memories are referred to as a fork. For further questions, see FAQ. Death and recovery. IS THIS REALLY ME? AREN'T I JUST A COPY? There are branches of human thought which reject the idea that a perfect duplicate is the same as the self. This is known as the thesian fallacy. Debunking this fallacy is beyond the scope of this FAQ, but it may be productive to ask yourself, if I suffered progressive brain damage from a disease like Alzheimer's, would I accept
nanoixing therapy to restore my brain to its earlier, more functional state? Would I be worried about losing my identity or happy to have it back? Think of human body fabrication as a particularly rapid and holistic therapy. BUT I DIED BACK THERE. BUT THIS ISN'T ME TALKING. THIS ISN'T ME. Your old body stopped working. But you did not die. The processes of your brain caused your neural nano systems to send an update to your last stored image where those processes resumed. A bioed fabricated a new body you picked up right where you left off. Your discontinuity or breaks in the mental process. Remember that your brain is a constantly evolving process, a warm, wet, noisy organ. You
lose more of your identity in the course of a regular workday than you do in the clean clear transfer from old brain to the new. While data compression may introduce some noise, your brain evolved to deal with errors. What if I get reprinted? THEN MY OLD BODY WAKES UP. THIS outcome is illegal and should be prevented by the test protocol in your neural nano systems. Consult an Altera labor council for further advice. You can't store a human body in COMPUTER MEMORY. IT'S AGAINST SCIENCE. While it's true that imaging and archiving the position of every atom in a human body is beyond our technology, instead phase conjugation stores a quantum echo of the body in optical quartz. This image cannot be cloned. It can only produce one printed body.
However, it's easy to produce multiple images during one scan, allowing you to keep archived copies of your body from months or even years earlier. Does this mean that people are now immortal? It is possible to achieve dramatic life extension with bioed support. The social consequences of this emerging technology are beyond the scope of this FAQ. All right. Well, that's all said and done. Okay, that's enough of that. Uh, this is going to be my mid storage area. Now, I don't I know I don't have any power here right now, which means I don't have any oxygen, but that's why I built the back door, so I can go up and out, not have
to worry about any of that. So, I know I have a message over at the life pot. I just don't have time to go over there right now. I have a black box to check out. And this new biome is where I wanted to be. What's that? Oh, you're having an existential crisis about a body printing? What are you talking about? It's 2016. It's time to explore the ocean. AI, GPU, and memory prices. What are you talking about? We just got to get our 1080 Ti and start gaming. It's going to be great. I can't wait to see Harambe in Cincinnati Zoo.
Oh. Oh, this is a real one. If one of my species finds this message, you may be the very last human being in the universe. M you get to write the last chapter of our story. I ask you to do the most human thing you can. Forget your debt. Forget Noah. Forget Alterara. Forget Zora and the life you imagined. It's all gone now. You're going to die here. And that's all right. Pick the most interesting thing you can see and explore.
Well, that is uh rather final. And also, I feel really dumb because if I'm not mistaken, this is a perfectly fully built base right here that I can commandeer and I just spent a bunch of time transferring to another nonsense place. Oh I need Hold on. Whoa, whoa, hold on. You hold on. Is this really the case or um Whoa, that was big. Combustion byproducts detected. Fire is a critical risk in oxygenrich habitats. Uh-huh. Yeah, I bet it is. Uhhuh. No. Okay. It's strange because that one up there is actually powered.
I mean, it's not powered, but it seems like it's actually functional. Right. So, there must be another way into this thing. Either that or I got to wait until daytime for power. But no, it's the same, right? I bet it's some really backwards way to go into it. I got to start from like down here cuz I think there's probably an opening around here somewhere. Yeah. Or a hole in the bottom. Some kind of like docking bay kind of thing. They do that sometimes. Yes. That's it. Okay. Oh. Dr. Woo's log. Day 755.
I think I've cracked it. Sophie and Anita are both right. The Patea virus causes Macefield syndrome, but only one kind of proa virus. The Bloom strain. Maybe it's tainting Anita's Angelcom adaptations. I've tuned the sonic resonators to destroy the viral crystals grown by the bloom strain. We should test on the angel combs out west with those promising heat shock proteins. And if I'm wrong, hey, I'm just a dietician. Noah should have woken up a viologist. It's a good point. But you're the one that's here. I don't know why Noah did what Noah did. Even though it seems like Noah may have uh caused someone's untimely doom, but
we're not all perfect. Was that a processor? Can I actually put anything in that? Oh, isotonic water. All right, cool. Fibrous pulp. Yippee. Oh, hi. God, I really hope my last words aren't Oh And then I'm dead. I really want it to be something better than that. I really do. Okay, there's got to be an air pocket here. I got to find that. Let me prioritize that Noah, is there a fire?
Noah, do not open the seox. acknowledge, please. I have a mouse trap, Noah, and I'll use it. Oh, this is leaking oxy. Oh, that's perfect. Okay, well that's nice. Well, again, uh again about the seock bioreactor. Nice. Damn. I might be able to really build a base here. Oh, lead. Ooh, lead. Battery terminal. That's nice. I Yeah, I kind of It's been so long since I played the other game, I've forgotten all the tech that's like on a base level here. I'm going to explore this area a little more thoroughly now that I've seen more. Don't do it, please. The kids deserve a chance to live. Oh, there was a hole here. How did I not notice it?
Well, again, not great. Um, I already have a bio bed, so all this will do is give me uh that I can use. Wow. Yippee. Wa. All right. I'm not sure if I'll be able to commandeer this base or like how much I'll be able to commandeer. See? Oh, processor. Okay, so that should be No, I already got the processor in one go. Never mind. Got the trash can. I need can three scans for a dining chair. This seems a little excessive. Unless you got the battery terminal. That's good.
Not sure if there's anything in there worth scanning. Ah, air. Nice. Too bad none of them found this. I already did that one. I think that was the one where I don't know. The kids deserved a chance to live. Maybe. And we got a dining chair. Nice. And that goes nowhere. Okay, let me get some air. Oh, I see it's fully there. All right, hold on. I'm going to get down. I want to make sure I get all this area before I continue on. I may not be coming back this way again. It's nice. Why did that just Whoa. How habitat is gone? The bio beds blew up and Noah flooded everything. I got to my air just in time. We tried to drag people clear, but they're gone. I don't
think they're going to reprint. I'm taking survivors due east to the tadpole pens. Swim down the tunnel past Sophie's office to the baby jellies. I'll do a head count at the work site there. To the baby jellies. Also, Noah blew up. What? To the in the Huh? I got a cicada debris scanner station filter, I think. Oh. Oh, I got a debris scanner. Oh, and I think I can use this. Whoa. Hey, Noah. Uh, ladder. Ooh, that's nice. Not really the most useful, but hey, it's something. Record very quick. Damn it. A riot in habitat. Chapen mantis have explosives.
Fire. Good. We're on fire. I have to go. Genzo. Ganzo. Genzo. Signal everyone outside to rally at the tadpole pens. Yes, I know where that is, man. I'm way behind all Hey, what's up, man? Hey, how you doing? About 25 people lived here. They were trying to build a life. Farms and biomods that could support 40,000 sleeping souls, but they didn't make it. The noetic adviser has transmitted an alert. They're sick. Return to the life port at your subvert them. We have to know. I've activated Dr. Wu Lang's black box. He's in a viral hot lab. His work may be your best lead.
We should salvage what we can. I've retrieved a few files. Gather all the blueprints you can, especially the scanner station. Okay, I've done that. Are you the same Noah that uh they were yelling about? It's not a real mind. Not like you or me. It can learn facts, but it can't change how it thinks. And why would it? Let me quote the manual. Noah's sephalopod inspired architecture uses a central administrator to govern limb nodes at remote work sites. As a frozen AI, Noah is unable to revise its architecture at runtime. Reliably controllable by less intelligent systems
such as human operators except under extreme situations. Sephalopod inspired an insult to octopod. It won't let you die. not its precious workforce. If you become uncontrollable, it'll wipe your memories and start over. No anger, no resentment, a nice clean you. Change? Why would it want to change? The damn thing is in heaven. Hey, no, you're not listening to this, right? Best buddy, best pal, best friend. I think that you and I can get past this. Nobody wants this. I hate it more than I can say, but it's time. As colony surgeon, I have determined that we can no longer take care of the sick. We don't have the calories to spare. I will not force anyone to reprint, but I ask that once
you are too sick to work, you volunteer for recycling into a new body. It won't cure the permanent damage, but it will clean out the metals and virus for a while. At least this is fair. Until we know how to adapt the metals without going maze field, we're all going to get sick. I will lead the way myself. Let the record show that Noah did not advise me in this decision. SOPHIE THE BUTCHER. Butcher blue. I see. Okay. All right. Well, good talking, buddy. Always great to see you. I love it. how it looks like. I'm just running my finger over your eyeball. So romantic. Um, farewell.
Seek fresh water intake. Man, I'm missing one more wall rack and I probably will never get it because I must have missed another one on the way in here. And I'll be damned if I'm going back over there. Okay, so I probably can't redo this place. Although this is really lovely. I wish I had put my base kind of closer to this. Instead, I put my base right next to a big douche who wants to eat me all the time. Well, I'll show him. I'll learn to tame the savage beast. Wow, that's great. Glad I got Hey, is that one of those hydraulic turbines? I can get one. Oh, can I put it in the goose? Uh, the flow.
I'm going to shut up. I think I put it in there and I'll make a lot of energy, right? That's how that works, right? Where's my base? There it is. Well, that's pretty. Cut it. Shut it. Shut it and cut it. Shut it. And cut it. Connected. All systems online. Thanks. Uh, what else did we get? A sonic resonator phased array sound amplifier used in mining and other applications. Oh, this probably is going to make the whole big ore nodes go kabooy, which is good. Make another one of these kind of low. And then I'm going to put some of this stuff away. Wait, let me see what it would take to build the doohickey maliki processor. Complete complex biochemical and manufacturing task over time for more advanced recipes.
Oh, I didn't know I got that. I thought I just got ladder and then the battery. Oh, this is great. Man, I should really think about building a more permanent solution. But I think if I was going to do that, I would have to build it in a natural current. Yes. Yes. Okay. So, what else do I need? Said I needed silver, right? Can I build it and then put it somewhere? Does that make sense? Can I build it and then I don't know, like unbuilt like kind of compactize it? Why is it trying to be so far? Oh. Ooh. Didn't hurt. A didn't hurt.
Yeah. Can I build it? And then, you know. Okay. What happens if I build it and then something about a miniaturization mode? Deconstruct mode. Shrink mode. Shrink. What? What the What? Huh? What? What happened to you? What happened? Welcome aboard. What? What happened to you? Huh? Actually, what happened? Wait, what Okay, so I deconstructed it. I think I don't know if I got back everything that I was supposed to get back.
Okay, but I have what I need now. I think I'm going to pin it. I need three of everything. And I need three. I'll take the Do I need Yeah, three silver and the copper and the quartz. Okay, I'm gonna do a crazy thing. This is just my ah just cuz I can't deal with Every time I leave that place, there's someone that's going to say hi to me with their teeth. I can't deal with that. I don't want to deal with that. I want to build my base. Go away. Want to build my Ah, stop it. Stop. God, I can't get any peace. No peace. They also make power transmitters, and I know that's a cool thing. So, I'm Can you please?
I want to build by this cave because I got a funny feeling that's the tadpole thingamabobs. And I think I can get a little artistic with this. I think I can get a little 30 seconds. I think I can get a little elegant with it. Let me Yeah, I can get elegant with this. Yeah. See, I want to be close enough to the power that I don't need to build a bunch of power transmitters. They really picked the best spot right there. I mean, I would like to be part of it, but I don't think they're going to let me. I think Ah, here we go. What if we do it in this uh an enemy? I hate them.
I know I'm being a big baby about it. How about I just build up a No, but then uh right here. Here's good. Yeah, this is good. I like this spot, actually. I've always liked this spot better. We're going to build a corridor. Oh god. Why? Go away. Dodge. Okay. I'm going to All right. You know what? Actually, I can't decide. I You know what? I'm just going to do it right. Warning. Power offline. I know. It's okay. Come on. Can you if that's Yeah. Why do I keep building right by people that want to eat me? They really want to eat me.
I don't know. IT'S MY CAR. OH, COME I BUILD THE one freaking spot. Just leave me alone. LEAVE ME ALONE, PLEASE. ED AN ALERT. OKAY. Life port at your convenience. I will. I'll at my convenience indeed. I'm just going to build right I've always wanted to build right here. This has been my dream. Why are you there? Why would you be there? Go away. Please tell me I can build a Rooma. I can't. Of course I Oh my god. I love you so much. Please. This is the greatest. This is so good.
OKAY, here's the thing. I don't need to build a corridor first. I can just build the room, right? I can just build the room. And when I build the room, the room will just be the room. That way, I can build wherever the hell I want. I'm going to I'm going to build this thing and everyone can shut up. I'm just going to build a room. Just going to build this room right there. I GOT A PLANT IN MY BACKYARD and two pets. Yep. That's it. That's what I wanted. That's it. That's it right there. Yep. That's the good stuff. Yep. And right by some oxygen, too, which is great. I love that.
Oh, well, they're back. You know what they say, they never actually left. All right, good. Let's build a hatch. Oh, hatch right there. That's great. That's what I wanted. Good. Now we're here. Welcome aboard. All right, let's do what we came here to do. Build a turbine in the water. 12. Oh, 12 beautiful waters. Yes. Look at that. Oh, yeah. That looks like the correct orientation. Yeah. Right. Let's put it right there. Okay. Perfect.
All right. Power transmitter. Now we Whoa. What are you What the What in the hell? Put a power transmitter right. Oh. OH GOD. I OH, PLEASE DON'T. IKE loved living. What did you want to talk to me about, buddy? What did you Ruby TR lead pilot partial voice data retrieved. Hey, Omala. Uh-oh. Do you remember the flight to the Cicada before you were scanned into storage? Ruby kept maneuvering the shuttle wildly and then apologizing to the passengers.
I don't know how you felt about it. Personally, I was charmed. She finds her work intoxicating, and that's what life is all about. Loving what you do. Signal location uploaded to your PDA. You know, that is a really great way to say it. I really like the way you Why is it a blood ocean? Why is it blood? Why is Why blood? Also, what did I lose? I probably lost a lot of stuff. That I'm not going to lie, that was just as stressful as it seemed. I was stressed. You were stressed. Everyone was stressed. We were all stressed. It
was not going well. And that is not the mantra of what this episode is all about. This episode is all about organized focus, getting things done right, learning the basics, even if I've forgotten all of the basics. But then it's relearning the basics. And that's almost as fun. In fact, loving what you do is exactly what he was talking about. I couldn't agree more. I could agree more, but I won't agree more. I've been trying to cut back. What am I talking? The am I talking about? The am I talking Oh. Huh? What? Huh? Who said that? Was that some voice in the deep? Who said that? Who said that to me? Who's talking to me? Huh?
Someone I could have sworn I heard requires what? Survival multi-tool. Oh, I don't need that. Whoa. Nice. Anyway, you guys hear any voices in the deep? Cuz I sure didn't. Yeah, definitely not me. A viral bloom. All other microbial life in the seawater is dead. Use the sonic resonator TO EXPUNGE. OH, THEY'RE NOT DEAD. THEY'RE NOT ALL DEAD. NOT DEAD. OH, you still hanging around, huh? You still Oh, you still really like to be where exactly where I am, huh? Is that what you like? You like that? Huh?
You like being there, huh? You like that? You enjoy it, don't you? I bet you would. You would, freaks. Yeah, freaks. You would, HUH? YOU WOULD. OH, YEAH. BITE ME. YEAH, BITE ME. YEAH, that's what I'm talking. I don't know why that's spinning in that direction. That doesn't feel right. That I feel like it should be in line with the flow. I need power turn. Why do I have not have any? I've got nothing but quartz. Where's my body? Where? Literally, where's my How close? Wait, how? Wait, how close was I? You've got to be Oh, hi. Yeah, I forgot. I HAVEN'T FORGOT ABOUT YOU. GOD, JUST leave me alone.
I'll kill all of you. I'LL KILL YOU. I WILL KILL YOU. I will murder you. You come back here. I am not done with you. Can I please just get the tool out? Why is the tool getting out weird? Yeah, that's right. Run. Come on. Oh, let me touch you. Come on. Get that tail. Oh, you want some? Oh, you think you can mess with me? Yeah. Come back. Yeah, come
Oh my god. What do I need? I need What do I need? I know I don't have oxygen here. I need copper. I don't have either of those. I think there was copper and titanium right in here. Yes. THAT'S IT. THIS IS IT. WE'VE DONE IT NOW. YES. Right there. Oh, yeah. That's doing it. Do I need another one or is it giving power to the Is it not giving power to the thing? Really feels like it should be giving power to the thing, YOU KNOW.
OH NOT AGAIN. NO print lost to suffocation. Reprinting. There you have it. Easy as that. It's only my fourth base and I'm already doing well. Third. Welcome aboard. Thanks. It is welcome to be aboard. So happy to be here. How do I make some lights? I want to make a light. I want a light. Oh, that's nice. I want another light. I would like another light. I know this seems frivolous, but I would like another light. There we go. That is nice. That's nice. That's nice. It's nice.
Twice as nice. This nice can be. That's nice. That is nice. Ah, wow. That's so nice. I'm going to make it be This feels good. I feel like this is a very permanent establishment that I've set up of here. I feel like this might be the most permanent establishment that I have ever welcome aboard. I have to have some mouse on Oh, you Oh, you got babies. Look at you. You got babies. Look at you stomping. Aren't you cute? Aren't you just adorable? Well, watch out. There's a bunch of biters around here. They're going to kill you. They're going to take you BY THE ARMS BECAUSE I THINK YOU'RE GOING TO be dead. You wouldn't want that happening to anybody, let alone your babies.
Hi. Hello, everybody. My name is Markiplier. I can't believe YOU WHERE'S MY AX? GET THE AXE OUT, YOU GO. I'm going to kill you. I am going to kill you. Ah. Yeah. You dick. Come here. Come over here. Why is Why do you get pushed away when I bump against your butt? Why do you get pushed away when I do that and this and that and one of these and one? I don't care. You think I care? Okay, you run away. Oh man. Okay, so we have a base with power we don't have a lot of material, but we can always build more. I know I have a bunch of other things over there. I'm going to build these.
Need titanium. At least titanium is very plentiful. That's good. I like that. Precious. It's for the silver and gold. A titanium is a fancy. No. See, wait. Hang on. I was like, I can't do anything. I can't I don't know who I am anymore. I don't know. Hold on. Seek fresh water intake. I don't have time. I am literally in these guys breeding ground or something. I don't know. All right. Bolo GC calamium.
Uh, I need to make um uh something else for uh hand stuff. That's for stuff I made by hand. So, you got your hand stuff made by hand and then you got your other hand stuff made by others, right? So, it's not mine. I made this grease and I made this bat tur, right? So if I you seeing you following the logic here tenium precious biological quartz other hand stuff all right I know uh I've made such alarmingly incredible progress. Whoa, look at you looking cute. I almost scan you. Watch out for the lights. Ah, the no advisor has transmitted an alert. Did they return to the life pod at your convenience?
The life pod. Hey, wait. I thought I got all the things in here. Was there another one that I missed? Hold on. Let me check. And also, oh, that's was a weird thing about what they were talking about here. They said that the beds blew up. Seal the focus. Keep the fire away from the lab, Sophie. Well, sounds like he didn't make it. All right, I'm going to go down into this cave because seconds. Never mind. I'm not going to go down in the cave because I forgot that I need to breathe. I love breathing. I know I didn't have to go to the surface, but I really wanted to. Let's go down here.
Let's see what's what. Have I scanned this? I thought I did. I don't know if there's anything I can do about that. No. Whoa. This looks pretty cool. Damn. It's a lot of Whoa. Hello. I thought that was a person there. Okay. All right. Oh, interesting. Butcher. Butcher, you mean? Huh? Well, I can't use any of this. Why not? Sophie, I got to tell. Here I go. Go again. Take your time. Copper poisoning causes Korea and vocal ticks.
Look, my feet move when I talk. I have moves. Yeah, you do. Intake. You can finally dance. Sweetie, would it help to reprint after I report? hydration. The Jubilee group are messing with sleep bay 3. I need Well, that means they're starving. They need bio beds to reprint. So much jubilee. They cut the cable from the sleep bay Noah to ours. Oh, They don't want our Noah to reset them. Print older versions of them from the sleep records. Would Noah do that?
Sure. Noah reset zip and everyone who goes Mazefield. You know that. But all of us at once. I suspect that's what happened to the people who built camp one. So all of this could happen again. Again? Upgraded. Inventory expanded. That's great. Okay. All right. So, I am dying of thirst. Good thing there's a plethora of slugs over here, right? And not just like I never should have built any bases here. It's basically the long and the short of that is I have made an egregious error of where I was trying to build my base and I should have never ever tried this. I This thing will keep me alive for just a little bit longer.
Yum. do this oily salad. Good. Yes. Good. Blue moon has water. That's nice. All right. But that was good because I found that and also it expanded my inventory which is good because it has been quite limited. All right. So, where is this tunnel? There's a ruby. Let me go get this black box over here. It's probably going to expand me into another area and then I can finally with all these dumb bases that I've built, I can do something else with my life. I hope it's something good. Probably won't be. Okay, I've already scanned that. I know. But did I open this? I did not. But it has titanium in there. Whoa. That's what that meant. Whoa. Oh, wait a minute.
Wait a minute. Whoa. I don't like shrines. Gonzo, you hear that? So, close. Everybody get your flares ready. Keep them away from the kids. Two. Two of them. Hey, uh-oh. Huh? Man, two more pieces of this tadpole and I'll be way better off. You I don't like you, but this is significant. It's not nearly as big as, say, the Aurora was. Ow. You Hey, stop it. I'll hit you. I'll Yeah. Get smacked. Why do you have You got like immunity or something. I can't actually kill you. That's annoying. You go away. I don't want to fight you. I do
want to fight you, but it seems like the game doesn't want me to fight you. I will fight you. Okay, but this also seems like a lot of nothing. I can't exactly get in here. There might be another spot for me to try to get in. Let's get some more oxygen. Let me try around the bottom while that guy's stuck in the in that spot there. There might be somewhere to go. Big what's its science gizmos docking bay. This is what I'm looking for. All right. What do we got in here? There's another fragment. I'm going to make myself one of you. I'm going to make myself you. Oh my god. I'm going to
make myself you. The bioreactor. That's good. Uh-huh. Uhhuh. Oh, it's a you. It's interesting. I need oxygen soon. 30 seconds. I can make it. What are you? Oh, interesting. Okay. Uh, I need three of those. Good lord. I'm never going to get that. Okay, we got to go. We got to get O2. There's lead. That's big lead deposits. So, I know that I can get those with if I build the sonic impactor or whatever it was called. Then I can blast those things apart and probably actually alleviate myself of the monsters. I mean, who am I to call them monsters? They're just fish trying
to live their life. Their fishy stupid life. their stupid fish life with their stupid fish wives. I hope that's not a big fish behind me. Sure didn't like that shadow. I guess I'm just glad it's not the Reaper Leviathan. Requires a repair tool. I know what it requires. I'm not going to get it here. Okay, so that's all locked up. But I only need one more scan to get the boat. That's pretty cool. Again, don't like that there was a shrine there of some kind, but I'll take the shortcut over to this uh this other bio box.
It'll be fine. Don't worry about it. Oh, no. That's a turbine. I already have that. Yes, that's it. I'm so excited. I'm so freaking excited. So excited. I'm so excited. Hold on. Okay, I'm going. Please. Oh my god, I'm low. Does that have oxygen? No, it doesn't. What am I doing? Get out. No, please. Not like this. I love life. I love living life. I love life so much. At least I don't panic. Okay, what do we got? Oh, wall rack. I actually am going to finish that. All right. Repair tool. Anybody? K. There were rumors Hotel and the TSF let it spread so they could take over the steps.
I don't know about that, but it hit us so fast. Did it really ride on the outside of our ships? Or do the spores just fly through space? We called it Karal, the curse. Not all of us spoke Mongolian, but so we knew that word. It started with the carpets Taruga. Then monsters would grow. If you didn't have nanos, they would grow in you, too. We had to leave everything. Now this, the virus that fills this ocean and fills our blood. We thought it was kara at first, but it's not a bacterium.
How can a virus cross between alien species? Naima tries to explain it to me. I cannot understand how such a gifted young woman carries such anger or what seeks me out. There's something down there. I don't know WHAT THAT IS. OH, OKAY. MAN, you got to stop. I'm going towards these black box. You better leave me alone. Advisor has transmitted an alert. Return to the life. Something large is moving nearby. No. me. Why would you say that? What do you mean?
Don't say things like that. That's like the worst thing you could ever say. Ever. Why would you say that? What's wrong with you? 30 seconds. Going back to my life pod. Jesus. Don't do that. And it better not be that thing that was moving. What are you talking about? Something is moving nearby. Go to hell. What is it, buddy? Contact K Wangmo. A young able spacer. Partial voice data retrieved. Mirror breach got me. Should have brought flares. Stupid.
Do you remember when she stole that fried dough from her brother and offered it to you? Right in front of him. An egregious act of sisterhood. Signal location uploaded to PDA. Why were we all so family? pod increases sharply out west of the life pod. Huh. Yeah. Okay. Good. Great. I guess I think great. Good. Oh man, this game is awesome. I am super stressed at most times, but I am driven exor inexurably to pursue my objectives. And although I am frustrated with the enemies, they are hounding me in a way that just makes this so fascinating and I can't explain it.
Seek fresh water. If I didn't have to and when I'm recording this, I have to go to con cans film festival. I have not gone yet, but I am prepping this to go and I just want to keep playing. I want to explore it. And what's already breaking my heart is that feeling of like I know this is just early access and I know the game isn't done yet and I know it might be 2 years before it gets fully done. But also I mean it's like that's kind of a cool thing to have that feeling and be in that spot. So thank you everybody so much for watching. I hope you're enjoying this. By the time I get to the next episode, I will be back from this adventure. And you may or may not have seen the video talking about Iron Lung and its release,
but it's coming finally. So, thank you everybody so much for watching. And as always, I will see you in the next video. Bye-bye.
