How you doing? Alex Crook here in New York City. The building behind me actually featured as the backdrop for the outside of the famous Friends apartment, hence the Joey Tribani pun. Bringing you the latest episode of The Window. So, let's get straight to it. Let's find out which transfers are on a break and which players are about to become friends with new clubs. So let's start with one of the standout performers of this World Cup so far. The Swiss teenage midfielder Yoan Manzambi Newcastle have been keeping tracks on this very talented 19year-old for several weeks now and have an agreement in principle with Fryberg. It's worth 60

million euros. So around 50 million pounds. No personal terms yet in place with Manzambi. That won't happen until after the Swiss exit the World Cup. They play Argentina in their quarterfinal on Saturday, Sunday morning, UK time. Newcastle just a little bit cautious, I think, after having Victor Munoz snatched from under their noses by Liverpool that this deal could be hijacked by a bigger club. Aston Villa among the clubs keeping tabs. So, Newcastle fans don't get too excited, but that agreement in principle over the fee is at least there. And this will be a major coup for Eddie how of course is struggling to keep hold of his best players this summer. Anthony Gordon sold to Barcelona for 70 million pounds.

Sandro Tanali to Tottenham for£100 million. And what about Bruno Gimarrage, Newcastle's captain, the man who walked up those famous steps at Wembley to lift their first domestic trophy in several decades when they beat Liverpool in the League Cup final a couple of seasons ago. Well, it's Talk Sports understanding that Gimar has told Newcastle he wants to leave St. James's Park he wants to join Arsenal. Personal terms I can reveal already in place between Gimar and Arsenal. No club to club agreement yet and Newcastle sources scoffing at suggestions they'd be willing to do business for£60 million. I think the fee will have to be a lot higher than that. Another player in action in the World Cup quarterfinals this weekend is Aston Villa's Emmy

Martinez. He'll be keeping goal for Lionel Messi's Argentina against that very dangerous Swiss side in the last of the last eight ties. Now Martinez has been on Juventus's radar all summer. They tried and fouled to prize Allison away from Liverpool. They're stepping up their attempts Uve to try and get Martinez twice voted the world's best goalkeeper. I'm told he would be open to this move to Cherim, but Aston Villa ideally would like to keep him. We had a bit of a saga, didn't we, towards the back end of the last summer transfer window when it looked like Martinez might be off to Manchester United. He was actually dropped by Unai Emry for a

game around that time because his head had clearly been turned. United went for Sen Lemons instead. He had a brilliant season. So, they're no longer interested. Juventus are Manchester United have been busy over the last 24 hours or so. They've agreed a 50 million deal with Chelsea for Andre Santos. What does that mean though for United's pursuit of Edison uh the Brazilian midfielder who obviously suffered a very early exit from this World Cup? Now the fee has already been agreed with Italian club Atlanta. Personal terms also in place. He's had the first part of his medical but they are doing a more thorough second part of that medical and I think the deal will hinge on the

outcome of that medical examination. He does seem a very similar player to Santos as well. United, I can tell you, still want to recruit at least one more midfielder, even if they were to sign both Santos and Edison. And just finally before we wrap up, a bit of breaking news from the Premier League New Boys, whole city. They parted company with their sporting director a few days ago. I was told this morning they're closing in on the appointment of Okan Oscan. He is available after leaving Polish club Pogan Shashesin following a contract dispute. is well known to the hull owner Achun Ilari. So you can understand this

appointment. I'm also told Hull City are closing in on the signing of a number of players including at least one with Premier League experience. We should have more news on that over the coming days. Stay tuned to talkport.com and the YouTube channel. We'll have a brand new episode of the window every single day.
