Blind ranking these five NHL tough guys that Curtis Gabriel himself has fought. We're starting off with Milan Lucic. Where do you put big Lucic? My absolute hero. Okay, so first of all, let's go in the order that I would least like to fight. I'm going to go probably a good two actually maybe two here with Lucic cuz I because I love the guy. It just got me so up to fight him. He's very simple fighter. He's so big and strong, grabs on with the left and he's just going to throw rights. He's not going to switch if he needs to but he does have that technique as a amateur boxer. You can go on YouTube and find him. He did break a

kid's nose. It's on there. His dad taught him everything. So I'm going to go two there because it gets me up to fight him. He's my hero. We had such a great battle. And he's not a super technical fighter. He's just simple Okay. Okay, next on the list Ryan Reaves. Weird fighter, right? Because I ranked them on toughness, skill, and technique. And I'm the first to say I don't think Reaves is super tough. Reevo, I don't think you're super tough. I think you're super strong and you have great technique which I learned from. I adapted my arm move that I use a lot from his move. He would break this hand off your grab hand so you couldn't grab on and then he would throw punches. So for me he's a difficult guy to fight and I

couldn't really ever land a punch. There's some stuff that come out of my book why but I don't know I don't want to burn number one but he'd be up there but I'm going to go three here. Okay. Okay. Okay, we got Lucic at two, Reaves at three. Next up Matthew Olivier. I have to I think we're going to go one here the least I'd like to fight. ding. Yeah, I think that's not a surprise to everyone. The Biloxi Bull, the heaviest guy, toughest guy. He's 6'1 230. When you're That's it. When you're second number of your weight uh is higher than your second number of your height, you're a big boy. Yeah. I was never that guy. I was 6'4 215. Okay, this guy's 6'1 230. He is

so strong. I mean my fight with him everybody likes to joke I got killed cuz he put a little cut through my helmet and catch up with a lot of blood. There was a lot of blood but just his ability to rise to the occasion and just win 22 fights in a row. Like I'm going to get hammered in this fight. I'm know I'm not going to do well. That's probably going to be number one. And credit to him, he's one of the guys that can still yeah. So, fourth here I've got for you is Nick Deloreio, who's still playing right now as well. Okay. Nick Deloreio, okay. So, I'm going to go five here because I really like my fight with him. I really like the exchange we had. I remember I was so jacked up, I ran one of his teammates to the wall, and then

he knew I dropped my Usually when you hit someone and they retaliate, they drop their gloves first. I looked at him and said, "Oh, yeah." And I moonwalked up to him and I was ready to go, but um yeah, I liked fighting him because he's also game. He's a guy that wants to fight long. He wants to make it fun. I like that and respect that. to dig back in the tapes for this one, but you fought Tom Wilson. Tom Wilson, okay. Wow, you are teeing me up right now. This is kind of stuff I really wanted to keep for the book, so I'll I'll dance around a little bit. I'm I'm in my rookie year in the OHL. I haven't had a fight in the OHL yet.

I'm on the fourth line in Plymouth. This team has Rickard Rakell, Tom Wilson, Connor Carrick, uh Stefan Noesen, uh it just keeps going. Like five first-round picks, okay? Plymouth, right? Plymouth Whalers. So, I get a I'm a I barely played. I get a shift on the top line with Joe Hishon and Garrett Wilson, and they throw me out there. I'm like, "Yes, I'm going to show my worth." I get stuck out for two minutes on the far side, long change. I'm coming to bench, I can't even breathe. I don't have a hair on my face yet. Tom comes off the bench, going the other way for his shift, and runs into me, and then jumps me.

When I have no energy, he's a man-child at 16, I'm 17, don't even know what I'm doing. And he beats me up pretty good. I'm trying to protect myself. So, there's no video of it online, so I'll tell everybody that's what happened, but let me tell you, did I chase him around Oh, yeah. the rest of my OHL career, and he would not fight me. Man. That's where the grudges are held and animosity builds, but I can't respect that guy more with what he's done in his career. Now, he's I always tell people when they think I'm crazy, I might start my team with him over anybody. I just the locker room guy, he does everything. I just I That's my team I want to be built around. That's cool. See, all right, there's the list

one through five. Feel good about it? I think you did a great job. Appreciate you, man. Thank you. Nicely done. Thanks for watching.
