Looking up at the sky, searching for the most high. He rejected the way of worshiping gods of clay. The famous historic graveyard of Janath Mallah once known as Janath or the Makmar the graveyard of Hajun by the curved road pathways uh to the north of Makkah Makama is uh so deep in history that it's understood that one of the great-grandfathers of the prophetam bin Kalab who had gathered Arabian tribes in Makal mukar he himself is buried there and so I guess it's Not surprising that other family members of the prophetam from Banu Hashim, the tribe of Banu Hashim are also buried there. And amongst the most illustrious and the great are of course, the mother of the believers, the first wife of the prophet

and her name is beautiful. It means the missing rib. And the scholars say it was his marriage to uh there was perfection in that marriage. No doubt that missing rib had been then placed and she is alra the greatest of them all. And of course the elder son of the prophet may Allah be pleased with him is also uh buried there who passed away in his infancy. He was of course the child also of Khadijah and a second son Abdullah of the prophet Alisam also from his wife Khadijah Ana is also buried there he's also referred to as the pure one and the good one and of course the uncle protector of the messenger of Allah Abu Talib is also buried there and of course the incident of both Abu Talib and Khadijah passing away in the same

year is known in S Amal Hus the year of sorrow and of course finally the grandfather Abdul Mutalib the famous grandfather who looked after the prophetat wasam who was an orphan as he grew up his father had already passed away before the prophetam had even been born is also buried in that very special place of jata in that location where banu hashim the direct bloodline relatives of the prophetatam are all gathered together and buried in that garden which is referred to as the elevated gardens of paradise. Subhan Allah. And it's the second uh most sacred graveyard on planet earth after in Medina. So whatever you do, make sure your words are true. Honesty is the best because life is a test.

Even if it hurts so much. So when the prophet Ibraimisam left from the presence of his noble wife Haj Alam and their baby son Ismael Alisam he departed past the mountain range of the Kada and uh upon doing that he read this incredibly beautiful dua which has been immortalized inside the noble Quran in surah Ibrahim ayia 37 in which he position positioned himself on the other side of the mountain so his family couldn't see him and made this powerful dua facing the in which he said, "Oh our Lord, I have indeed inhabited some of my family in a valley which has no vegetation." He's speaking about here now the valley of Makkah itself by the side of your noble home your house subh thea itself he gives the reason why in order that they establish the prayer

he asked Allahha to cause the hearts of some people to incline towards them And to provide them with sustenance of fruits in the hope that they will be grateful that right will coner and the heart of a Muslim must be strong. It's the heart of a Muslim through the guidance of Islam. that makes you fair and kind and helpful to your fellow men. Yes. So, we just come to the other side of the haram. So, right in front of me is actually the clock tower. On the right hand side, we've got the haram itself and straight opposite on the left hand side, we've got the actual uh king's palace. Inshallah. Uh this is not a side of the haram that I've been used to, but there's something very special behind me.

Oh, yeah. What's behind me? Yeah. Incredibly special. There's a well it's labeled as the Maktaba Makkah al- Mukar which literally translates as the library of the inobble city of Makkah um otherwise known as the uh birthplace of the prophet Alisat wasam on what is understood to be by dominant opinion on Monday the 12th of um so uh at that time of the birth which is uh very spectacular in this location is that the mother amb of the prophet said that when he was born a n a light so piercing came out and it illuminated the palaces of Sham and Sham is the land of the prophets so directly in that direction and you have the rock and shami which is the corner of the cabba which points towards Sham that area illuminated

why and in it says but sham shook because that's the land of the prophets and the leader of the prophets had just been born alam in this area exactly where the library is marked they've kept the library and we had a chance to visit it in 2024. Y so uh you can actually go inside the library. Yeah, there's certain times certain opening times and uh just to stand anywhere in the presence of that is amazing. And I think about what happened in the life of the prophet himself where um the prophet uh is born inab right in Bethlehem. And uh on the night journey the prophet when he left from here from Makar one of the places where he uh stopped is and when he asked do you know where you prayed that you stopped you prayed in a place

where Jesus the son of Maryam was born. So he prayed to on the night journey from here to So it's very special uh for us like following that same idea to come to the birthplace of the greatest of God's creation. It's it's almost kind of like almost a hidden gem, right? Cuz like you said, not many people come to this side of the haram because a lot of activities on the southern side of the haram where in the northern side literally facing the other way. Um so as you come out of so to kind of give you an idea when as you come out of Mount Safar, you come and head in that direction that's where you find the something special this I'm going to walk this way. See if we can see here. So what's special? There's a mountain in front of me.

Yeah. So there's a big presidential palace which is uh or a royal palace which is built there. So it's hard to tell but this is actually a mountain range. Uh and you can just see it from the back of it. There's a mountain the mountain of Jabal Abu Kab and the mountain of Jabal Abu Kab is understood to be the first mountain that Allahh created in creation because as we believe Mak is the center of planet earth. It's um where the ka was aka it was like a mount and from it Allah rolled out the earth and as Allah said in Quran did we not make the earth as a resting place and we made the mountains as pegs. So the first peg mountain Allah created on planet earth was that one is that one it's just that it's hidden. You can't see it. And there's many very

fascinating hidden secrets about the mountain. One of them being that it's believed that even the prophet Adam is buried there at the foot of it. Um other secrets is that it's got another name which is al the trustworthy and the reason why it's called the trustworthy mountain is that at the time of the global flooding um at the time of nuisam the black stone was actually placed on that and Ibraimam with his brought the black stone down from there where it was saved during the flooding of noralam and then it was placed at the caba where it currently is today. Absolutely amazing. So there's like some hidden gems on the other side of the har.

We'll stop here now and that's it. Yeah, it looks absolutely amazing. Just Yeah, you could take it in. Yeah, because you can see the mountain range from here as well, but it's hard to see because of the royal palace there. You can't see all the, you know, the um cement cladding. It's it's hard to notice what's going on. Uh maybe people even think, oh, that's just the foundations. It's not. There's a mountain there. My kind of breath is taken away that you're saying that this was the first mountain. Yeah. ever. So that so like we're in because we believe Makkah is the mother of all cities and they haven't removed it.

No the well there are some mountains because of expansion have been removed as tunnels being bored through them. You can see that like that's everywhere and Mak Maka is a very mountainous area but yeah with this mountain it still remains but it's now clad by other buildings around it. wasn't like flattened or anything like this but yeah it's understood to be this is the first fountain that Allahhuh created and the name of Abu Kes I mean there's difference opinion about who that was some say it was a Yemeni king ruler and Allah knows us but it's extraordinary it's an extraordinary site So here we're going to go to Mash Jin or towards that direction. But this is all new. I've not seen this part.

Yeah. And it's all incredible. You got the tower behind us on the right. We're trying to orientate ourselves. I've always found that the Maka clock tower is a really useful landmark that it points to the south of the Kaba. So that's always in the south. So we're like now walking in the opposite direction. So we're walking to the north. We just prayed sal in it's a very sacred time right now because the month of literally just begun at m and we would like to now head out to mash the jin. So in order to do that you need to go from the northern side of mash haram right so now we're heading towards argu well towards sham really cuz this is the shami corner towards the land of the prophets. We're heading in that

direction uh to a very special landmark within Makka, which is interesting because I've always find it that it's easily missed. And I think that's really appropriate because where we're heading to is mashed the jin and jin in Arabic it comes from a route which means to be hidden and concealed. You'll find when we get there even the masid itself kind of just blends in with the background. Yeah. So it's as almost you it's it enters you know it's a they say like it's a meeting of the two worlds. the world of shahada like the meet the world of the scene and the unseen meeting and uh I think the way that it's been obviously it's a modern expansion

of the masid it's a site where the prophet encountered actually jin and recited Quran to them and subhan Allah they became Muslim which already is super interesting because the prophet is indicated that he didn't just come for human beings it came for our brothers and sisters from the gin kind as well yeah let's go and they embrace Islam so Let's head to it. that famous incident that took place uh where the prophetat wasam was some 1 kilometer north of the theaif where today stands masjid jin is uh retold and we're informed of that actually at the beginning of chapter 72 jin in which Allahh makes mention that uh it has been reveal say to the prophet that it has been revealed to me that a group of jin uh were listening

attentively to the recitation of the messenger of Allah and they said that indeed we have heard an amazing recitation that actually guides to the right path and they embraced Islam they said and we believe in it and they said, "And we will never ascribe any partners with our Lord subhana wa ta'ala." Absolutely beautiful. And the ayat carry on to say that they speak about the exalted that Allah that their lord is exalted and that he absolutely hasn't taken a wife nor a child and that actually it's the foolish amongst them that have made up lies amongst them. And some scholars are of the opinion that the foolish ones amongst them that they're speaking about specifically isl himself, the devil himself. Uh that they

would say something against Allah that would they would lie against Allah. So they embraced Islam and not only did they embrace Islam, they called upon their own people, their own home of the jin to also embrace the faith and they did. Subhan Allah. bank Shar Yes. So, we walked from the haram. Yeah. About 10 minutes. 10 minutes of walk. And m I've seen this side of uh the community of Muslims here cuz I just saw a lot of the hotels. Yeah. We're normally in the south, right? On the south side where the tower is. So, if it's on the opposite side now, this masid behind the mas jin where the one that's hidden under the This is kind of what we were talking

about here. This is very easily missed even as I look at it. The only real I'm picking up there's some green lights in the minet of it and that not and you can see the maka clock tower beautifully in the in its background literally on the opposite side. I'm very much by its meaning jin to come from the obscure the hidden the actual masid itself is that and I'll be honest with you I cheated a little bit. I stuck it on my maps and just I've been here before but I don't I didn't want to miss it because I know that it's especially now that it's nighttime it's hard to spot. So it's we're in a special location.

Shalaf. So we're going to go inside and have a look what are we expecting to see this? What's so significant about very briefly cuz we want to go over that the backdrop but simply is this that uh the prophet Alisam invited the Sahabah that if they wanted to encounter the jin not many of them kind of volunteered to that but what's interesting a companion who a very famous companion abdohan who wasn't the largest in stature he said I'll come with you and he came with the prophetam to this exact location and the prophetam with his blessed foot he drew a circle in that location there was there masid there no of course it was just on the northern side of Makkah. This is traditionally how people travelers would

enter into Makkah from the north. He drew a circle in the sand and he said to Abdah, "Stay where you are no matter what happens." Okay. Okay. So he had a divine protection in that circle out at that point I would run. He didn't very brave sahhabi and the prophetam comes out of the circle and into that exact location where mas jin is today as to recites to recite from the noble Quran and then there was just a massive movement of sand and a whirlwind of sand. Essentially what happened was a huge group of jil and which is mentioned in the beginning of jin surah 75 of the noble Quran they appeared and they started to whirlwind around the prophetam

fearing that the prophet was under threat he start to move out of the circle and indicated to him stay where you are I told you meaning that's protection for me if he remains there but not outside so abdu stayed ready on guard and then the prophetam start to recite and then this it just calms you know this massive whirlwind of sand just starts to calm around him and this is beautifully described in the Quran when Allahh says and it has been revealed to me this is the beginning of jin that a group a grand group of jin listened to the Quran and then they returned to their own people and they said indeed we heard an amazing recitation subhanah these jin embraced Islam that incident took place right here at mid the jin on the northern side of masab

and we're going to be brave enough to go Inshallah. Mr. I want to I think the first time I ever came to Mash Jin, it was at night time. The reason why I'm saying is the incident took place around midnight. We're a bit earlier than that, but you know, normally when I've come here, it's normally through the day, but so it's interesting to come at night. Uh there's a theological point made with the incident that took place here that angels do what they're ordered to do as Allah says they do what they're ordered to do. As for us, the jin and the human beings. When I say us, no, I don't mean the jin, but the human beings and jin, they've got intellect, but they also have choice, free will, right? And

uh what's interesting which is revealing about the incident that took place here is that Jin who had intellect chose to become Muslim Muhammad. And not only did they choose to become Muslim, they then went back to their home to their people and called them to Islam and they embraced Islam as well. And that I think is incredibly beautiful. So let's put this whole thing aliens and all this conspiracy. We need to tell the whole world there is things called spirits and gins. It's in every kind of Abrahamic religion. So they do exist. They are about and they like us have reasoning. They have intellect and they have free choice. And again uh as far as hidden from sight is Yeah, they're hidden from sight. And in

Jenna inshallah the worlds will be reversed. I heard may well be possible. And I think it's also revealing in the in their name like the Arabs they say like you have the word like at the end they have the word ja and you have the word ja they said what's connected between jina jin jnah a shield and ja a garden because if everything connected with them is hiding things or putting things in the unseen so the jin are generally in the unseen um a ja a shield behind it you're unseen And this is what we pray about. I'm leaving it third to the best to the last. Jenna, we pray Allah gives the grants to us all Jenna is a private space garden in paradise. That is your private space and you're hidden from everybody else as

well. May Allah grant us Jenna in a from the mid of Jin itself here in Makkah. Yeah, absolutely. Another question is that I was kind of contemplating whilst coming to the masid was why did Allah choose jin and mankind? Did we get the y jin and mankind? and mankind. He placed those two together. Why? I think uh we have an extraordinary answer to that in that um you know we're massively honored and maybe we haven't thought about this that we're from uh the um of a prophet uh prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam who is the leader of the humanity uh and jin kind of mankind um we don't hear generally of uh jins embracing Islam at the hands of prophets though of course we're aware of that the prophet

sulam had power over the jin with a very special ring that he had on it the scholars say that he had on it there's no god but Allah and it said Muhammad rasooli and Muhammad is my messenger he knows he's his messenger and he had power over the jin and um what is extraordinary and again it's from the uniqueness that the scholars say about the coming of the prophet Muhammad is about his universality uh not only is he the only universal prophet because as he says himself that all the prophets before me were sent specifically to their people specifically and I was sent to the uh creation like universally that extends to the world of the jin. Um so alhamdulillah we hope uh more of the jin embrace Islam.

We're in the blessed days of hija. Do jin do hajj as well? That's a good question. I'd like to think so. I don't see why not because we're sitting in a place which is evidence of the fact they embrace Islam and then conveyed to other jin in the area. So why wouldn't they is what I mean I don't have proof of that but I don't see why they should and Allah knows best. Okay because we have Muslim gin so wouldn't they want to come for Haj. On that note I think we'll make a move from here.

Make a move all across ocean and land. Incumbent man is the pilgrimage to Mecca. Fifth pillar of Islam.
