Barn Owlets Hatching from First Egg Crack to Chick

A female barn owl named Celeste chirps at her eggs as they begin to hatch. The first chick appears, but a gray squirrel poses a threat. Celeste chases it away. Over the next days, more chicks break out of their shells. Eventually, four chicks are visible in the nest.

Female barnowl, Celeste, eggs are due to start hatching and she's chirping at them. Later that day, I get a glimpse of the first chick. But danger isn't far away. A gray squirrel at the entrance. But Celeste soon chases it away. Two days later, the second is breaking out of its shell. And again, two days on, when she leaves to stretch her wings, the third chick is almost here. And finally, a few days later, when Celeste leaves, I can see four chicks clearly. And I'm so happy to see them all.
