Exploring the Mystery of Polished Quartz Rocks in Bigfoot Territory

Exploring the Mystery of Polished Quartz Rocks in Bigfoot Territory

A researcher returns to a remote forest after months of closure due to Hurricane Helen, resuming the search for Bigfoot. He investigates an unusual phenomenon: numerous smooth, polished quartz rocks scattered across the forest floor. Theories range from animal behavior to geological processes, but no definitive explanation exists. The video also recounts past sightings and encounters in the area, maintaining a skeptical yet open-minded approach to the Bigfoot legend.

I Can't Explain This But Maybe Someone Can - The Search For Bigfoot. | Transcript:

my friends. Welcome to this episode of the Outre Review. I hope you all are doing well. Last year, I came out to a forest that I refer to as the green forest. I announced in that episode that we were going to again begin the hunt for Bigfoot series. Unfortunately, the day after I put up that episode, the only access road to this location closed. They were repairing the damage caused by Hurricane Helen. And that road has been closed for roughly 5 months. That's why no additional episodes have gone live. I've been unable to get out here. All of that changes today. Our goal for this trip here is to scout the forest once again. It's been a good 5 or 6 months since I've been out here.

Let's see what we find interesting. We'll tag some locations on my map and maybe later on we'll get out the trail cameras. For now, we need to see what sort of shape this forest is in. At the same time, there's something that I'm looking for. Many years ago, while scouting this forest, I came across an interesting phenomenon. As you all could see, this forest is covered in moss. This moss is roughly 6 in deep, and it covers everything. The interesting phenomenon is that ever so often I would come across what I believe is quartz rock on top of the moss. This quartz rock is very smooth, almost polished,

and it's all over this forest. In this episode, we are looking for that quartz rock, if that is in fact what it is, because we are going to take a piece and get it analyzed to see if it is quartz rock or if it's something else. Viewers of this series have many theories of what those stones are. Some, in fact, do not believe they're stones at all, but rather bone. There's only one way to find out for sure. We have to find some and have it analyzed. Now, I'm sure you're wondering, Luke, why are you out here? Over the last 10 years or so, I've been coming out to this location for camping purposes. And over the years, I've had a number of interesting experiences. At the same

time, this area has Bigfoot sightings and reports going back hundreds of years. In this episode, I will share one of those reports with you all. Before I do that though, let me tell you all about an experience that I had. As that experience took place right over here some years back, I was hiking through this forest. I was going to find a place to camp at. That's when I spooked something. I spooked something right behind these trees here. Whatever it was was massive and it went crashing, barreling through the forest, knocking down trees. Unfortunately, I did not get to see what it was. And that's because of all of these bushes and trees here. I was unable to see through this. The

trees that were knocked down were all about this size here. So, not real big, but still big enough. With that being said, it would not take much to knock this over. As you all could see, I have always suspected that it was a big black bear, but plain and simple, I do not know for sure. I did not see it. What I did see was the trail of destruction that was left behind. An additional strange experience involved a camping trip a few years back on the other side of this mountain where I was at was a few miles away from here. And I should mention this forest is huge. Anyways, I was about to sit down

and have dinner when I begun hearing footsteps in the forest. The next morning when hiking the trail out, a large tree had been transplanted. In the middle of that trail is a game trail. And get this, it was not present the day before. One thing that made that tree interesting is the fact that first off, it was big, it was heavy, and some of the roots were still attached. But yet, I could not find where it came from. Something moved that tree to that trail. And that, my friends, I cannot explain. Navigating this forest is not easy. Heck, getting here is not easy. I'm about four miles away from where I parked the truck. And all of that hiking is straight uphill.

Okay, I just found one. The very first one. Do you see it right there? This one here is a little bit on the small side and it's also not very polished. Typically, they're about double this size and very smooth. So, I'm going to hold on to this one for now, but I'll probably put it back once I find a better example. with my experiences in those stones. I can't say there's like one spot that has more of them than another. It's all very random Isn't this amazing? It's like a sea of green. It's unbelievable. Right now, I'm looking for those white stones. You never know where you're going to find one at.

It's very, very random. But the thing is, there's bunches of them. Hundreds, maybe thousands. So far, I have only found that one piece and that's it. Nope. I'll take that back. Here's another one. Oops. Now, this one here is a whole lot more polished and rounded. It's almost like a decorative stone. And here's another one This one here is also really, really smooth. To me, it looks like quartz. Many viewers stated that it looked like bone to them. Pretty sure this is quartz, but I'm not a geologist. That's why we have to have this tested. with this forest here. On occasion, it could be rather spooky.

We are at a rather high elevation, so oftent times it's up in the clouds. At the same time, this is a rainforest, so often times it's raining, storming. I've been up here before where nothing is making a sound. No birds, no animals, nothing. That can leave you with a rather strange feeling. I should mention that all of Bigfoot investigations that I've done here were done so prior to Hurricane Helen. In other words, prior to all of the damage that you see, the fallen trees. The point is, it's not the fallen trees that has displaced those rocks. It is something else. And right here is another piece.

Now you can see here they're all different colors, different shades. That's interesting. As we have gone higher up this mountain, the singing of the birds has basically stopped. That's interesting. Often times the animals and the birds, they will tell you something long before you can see it or smell it. Maybe whatever has them spooked is departing the area Now, I should mention everyone, if you have not seen the previous episodes in this series, I highly recommend that you go back and watch them. They are quite interesting. I've shared stories from this area. I've shared some of the interesting findings that we have come across. I have to say that I am a Bigfoot skeptic. I do not

believe in Bigfoot, but I'm open to the idea. I'm open to the possibility. When I don't know something for sure, I can't say I'm definitive on that topic. As it stands right now in my life, I've had some strange experiences in the forest, but nothing that can't be explained in some way. I may not have the explanation, but that doesn't mean there's not one. This sort of hiking is very slowgoing. Walking on this, it's so soft. It's a workout. It's a workout not to fall over. The top of this is extremely smooth.

Almost like it's been polished. The bottom is a little bit rough, but the top, I mean, unbelievably smooth. I personally find this all to be very, very interesting. I can't say that I know why. There's what appears to be quartz rock on top of the moss, but for some reason in this forest, it's all over the place. It's not isolated to this area right here. I have found it miles from here. And it's not much. It never is. It's just a white stone here, a white stone there. Every single one polished. There's one. There's another back there. One right here.

As far as the different theories go that the viewers have shared with me, let's go ahead and talk about those for a second while we do some more looking. My search for Bigfoot videos are some of the most popular Bigfoot videos on YouTube. And because of this, I have received, as you can imagine, thousands of messages and emails with different theories concerning these white rocks. Some believe that maybe like the trees getting uprooted have thrown these stones all over the place. That's possible. But why are the stones polished? Why are they smooth? Some have suggested that maybe the crows or the ravens have been collecting them because

it's been said that they like shiny objects, light colored objects, and they will carry them around and possibly potentially deposit them in places such as this. That is possible. But why are they polished? Again, that doesn't make any sense to me. Another theory is that turkeys have been gathering these stones and using them to assist. Here's another one. That is so smooth, everyone. Let's see. What was I saying? Turkeys. So, the theory is that turkeys collect them, put them in their gizzard, and then use those stones to assist with basically breaking up their food and digestion.

I mean, that's possible. Turkeys do that. But turkeys are not drawn to quartz specifically. They're usually using very small rough stones like gravel. And while I do not know for sure, the pieces of quartz that I have found seem to be too big for that purpose. I'm not an expert on that, so I really can't say, but to me, they seem too big. Some of those stones are about the size of a marble. Here's one. This one's quite small. This here is a game trail, just in case you're wondering. Anytime that you see a trail in this forest, it's a game trail. A game trail for deer, a game trail for black bears, bobcats, coyotes, some state mountain lions,

but I personally never seen one. They have been captured on plenty of trail cameras though over the years. Out of everything that you could encounter in this forest, I have no desire to encounter a mountain lion. If there happens to be one out here, stay put, big kitty. I don't want to have to put you down, but I will if I have to. I continue to find these white rocks everywhere. Tons and tons of them. Very interesting. I can't say I know. I really don't have a good theory. Is it possible that the moss as it grows is pushing them up? Maybe. But does that explain why the stones are smooth? I don't think so. But I don't know. So,

what do you all think? Comment down below. and I'm hearing thunder. That is towards the east. So there's a thunderstorm out there that would be going away from us over here. This is the west. I am fully prepared just in case it rains. I have my rain gear. I also have a tarp with me. At some point in time, I plan to stop for a late lunch. At that point, I'll share a story with you all, a Bigfoot story, a Bigfoot report, I should say, that has originated from this area. The Bigfoot report that I have for this episode is an interesting one. It involves the way that the creature was moving that I've never heard described in this way before. Very different.

The temperature is dropping. We may have some weather moving in. The temp will often times drop before rain starts or a thunderstorm hits. Basically, the atmosphere will take those warm temps and use that as energy to build the storm. As we're coming back down the mountain here, the birds are beginning to sing again. That's interesting. It doesn't necessarily mean anything, but it's interesting. I do want to say thank you to everyone who has written in concerning this series. Everyone who has written in and shared their thoughts and opinions.

99.9% of everyone who writes in is very helpful. They have interesting theories. There's that.1% who I have to say are the weirdos. When someone writes in and they say that this is how it is. I speak with Bigfoot. Him and I are best friends. That's when I start questioning things. You know what I mean? I love when people write in and share their thoughts. Naturally, I may not agree with them. They may not agree with me and that's how it goes and that's how it should be. But when someone gets angry because you don't believe what they're saying or you don't see things the same way, there's a problem there.

They're getting mad for a reason. Maybe because they want to be the ones who have all the information, all the answers. Maybe they're trying to make money off of it or something. I've seen that so many times. I cannot begin to tell you all how many people have written in making some outlandish claims only to find out that they have books that they're trying to sell or so on and so forth. This everyone is a big tree. This is really, really cool. Check this out. This is one of those rare situations where you can actually find a pre-made shelter. If it began to rain right now, hopping inside of this would provide a ton of protection.

Interestingly enough, none of these rocks are quartz. In fact, I have never seen quartz on this mountain ever. There's granite and iron. Whoa, that tree there, it is rotten. It's just about ready to come out of the ground. Let's get away from it. I'm going to beat my feet across this forest and make my way down. We need to find a place to sit so that we can have our late lunch. I don't know if it's going to rain or not. I don't have service out here. But we better not take any chances. The cloud level has come down. So, like right over there, it's very foggy. It's

actually not fog. It's the cloud level. And that's because we are so high up. I ripped this bag. A new one, folks. It is not going to seal back up. Oops. That tastes like pure gasoline, which is exactly the way that I like it. Concerning my late lunch, what I'm having is a meal from a company known as Expedition Foods, and it looks like this is from the UK. A viewer sent this to me. It sounds good, it smells good. Asian noodles with chicken and mixed vegetables. We'll see in a second how good it is.

It is made at East Yorkshshire, United Kingdom. They need to work on their bags. Or maybe I'm a little bit too strong or something. I don't know. That's probably it. Let's see if it's ready. It is good. And it looks like it's all natural ingredients, too. in regards to the Bigfoot report. This story or this report comes from 1985 where a hunter was in this area and he stated that he came across an 8-ft tall hairy humanoid sort of creature. The creature began to backtrack when he walked up upon it and it backed up a little bit and then started doing something that I've never heard of Bigfoot doing before. It started walking sideways and it walked out of sight that

way and then took off. The report states that he did not pursue the creature because to be frank, he was scared to death. Even with his shotgun, he didn't feel like that was enough to bring that thing down if it was going to charge him, right, or act violently. It stated in that report that the man waited roughly 9 months before making the report, basically out of fear of people saying that he was crazy. So he made the report anonymously. The man was so scared that he stated he would never come back to this forest ever again. What would you do if you came across Bigfoot in the forest?

Would you be so scared that you would have to retreat or would you pull out your phone and take a picture? I'd like to say that I'd try to take a picture, but you never know. I guess it all depends on how intimidating of a situation it is. You know what I mean? I've been around big animals before. 5600 lb black bears, gigantic moose, camped out in grizzly country and stuff like that. While being respectful and knowing my place, I was never scared around those animals. Respectful, yes. Scared, no. So, I don't know if I would be

intimidated or not. It's really impossible to say. Well, my friends, this trip is done. It's been very nice coming back to the green forest. I cannot wait to return. When I do, hopefully, we will be able to find out whether or not that's quartz or bone or who knows what. If it is quartz, it'll be interesting to know what type it is to see if it's commonly found in the area. I want to thank you all very much for joining me for this search for Bigfoot episode. Make sure to sound off in the comment section down below what do you all think those stones are. Let me know. I'm now going to begin the long hike out of here off of this mountain. If I go quick enough, I'll make it back to the truck before nightfall.

Already, it's really dark. Strength and honor, everyone. Be safe out there.
