fun with family fun. Hi guys, welcome to Family Fun Pack. As you can see, we're back in our house in California. You're probably surprised because you haven't seen us for a while. We have not been uploading and the last time you saw us, we were in Hawaii. We have some Hawaii content still to show you, but we just wanted to make a video, let you guys know we're here and explain why we've not been uploading. And so, I'm going to show you some of that right now. If any of you judge me, just I'm going to say please don't judge. This is real life as a mom of eight. So, we came home to so many boxes. You would not believe it. Check this out.
That's a lot of boxes and I had to open them all. So, there's that. That took a long time. And then, of course, what's in those boxes? Well, got to go through all that. So, it's just like a lot of stuff. Also, is this. So, I'm standing by probably the largest amount of clothes I've ever had to deal with. It doesn't end here. So, it's this massive table. I'm standing here so you can try to get an idea, but it's like it's a lot. Like it's like literally so much clothes. There's more here. This like fell out. There's clothes here. There's clothes all over here. All of this is closed. All of this. And this is not even everything. So, you're probably like, "Oh, wow. You
guys have too much clothes." Well, okay. Let's just put it in perspective. There's 10 people in the family and I would say eight of us change sizes. So, and then like with Matt, Matt didn't change size. David changed. No. Okay. Alyssa didn't change size now. So, two people didn't change size. Alyssa and Matt. A lot of my clothes was too big when I came home. Mommy dress. Can you change my dress? Yes. Cuz I don't want to eat my Are you Is that a Alissa's special dress? Alyssa wasn't your age. And I'm wearing a helmet to go on an event. And you even have all this gear. You look really fancy.
Change my dress. What? You need to wear something else? Yes. Like pants. Pants and a shirt. Oh, okay. We'll change. Okay. We'll change. We'll change clothes. Why not? We're talking about clothes. Clothes you are wearing. Okay. The same clothes. Okay. Is that good? Yes. Okay. Okay, put your shoes on by the door. Okay, now I have more laundry to wash. Yay. Okay.
Yeah, we got a bunch of stuff in here, too. That was old dress. Yeah. Okay. So, since we're here, we'll talk. And there's my big boy. Yes. That's my big boy. You see his cute little head? Hi. Yes. This is my favorite boy. Yes, you are. Maui is so happy to be back. Oh my gosh. And we really miss him. Yes. Okay. This is my clean laundry that I've washed. However, there was like five times as much when we came home cuz there was so much dirty laundry. Michael came home from sixth grade summer camp and we literally left within like an hour or two of him getting home from camp. So, he came home with a bag full of dirty clothes. So, anyway, this is
stuff I'm trying to pack for upcoming travel. This is stuff that I need to pull out cuz Chloe outgrew it and Jade's going to wear it. This is Jade's clothes she needs to wear that she's gonna outgrow really soon. This is like packing for a different trip right here. So, I'm like sorting and going through clothes that like hand-me-down of Chloe's stuff right there. So, that's kind of what these sections are. There's some stuff I'm giving to my sister um for an upcoming baby over there. This is stuff I'm bringing to my brother cuz I'm going to go visit my brother and I have some stuff I think he might like for his boys.
Um, so I'm doing all that. So anyway, back to this section. So, and every and everybody's sizes. So, I became too small for some of the clothes that I had. Matt stayed the same, but some of his clothes was, you know, it's used and trash. Like, like some of his clothes, it's just like I don't know if you can really tell, but like the colors are yellow on these shirts cuz he wore them so much. That shirt went to Europe. Yeah. And my favorite shirt. She's making me get rid of this one. Oh my gosh, you guys. This is not a good shirt. Sucker. Let us know in the comments. Is that stupid dorky?
It's not a good shirt. The collar is brown. It is not a good shirt. So, he's like trying to pull it out of this. I mean, if you had a shirt that didn't look dirty and it looks like that. Oh, no, no, no, no. So, so there's like that's for Matt. And then we go to David. Well, David's changed size. He's a whole size bigger. And then some of his clothes can go to the twins, but like he has shorts that he has taped with tape. He's got a hole in them. all like there's stuff like I know this shirt right here of the twins they had this shirt this has like black Sharpie on it somewhere like here's some black Sharpie here so I mean you know there
everything has a reason that we've got to like let it go plus it's nice to like have some new stuff every once in a while and the twins have majorly changed the twins are way different but we do pass things down we do a lot of hand-me-downs what I have to do is I have to sort everything here and I have to decide are we donating it are we passing it down like is it stained is it ripped? Is it too old? Is it just out of style? Do they not like it anymore? Cuz none of my boys like skinny jeans now. So apparently baggy jeans are in style. None of them want skinnies. So I have so many skinny jeans. So many. I'm like, "Oh my gosh." So I've got to go through all of that. And then on top of
that, I made the boys, the twins, I made them try on every single thing in their entire room. And then we took it out. And like most of this is the twins clothes here. Almost all this is theirs. Like a lot of it is theirs. They were left with like five shirts maximum that fit them at the max. Um, after this summer, the twins grew a lot. Same with Michael. Michael's outgrown everything. He's in a new size. Owen's outgrown everything. Khloe's outgrown everything. Jade's outgrown everything. So, it's like just like this huge massive process of everyone changing size. Even their feet. Their feet have all changed size
majorly. Especially the twins. The twins have had the biggest growth spurt. So, um, it's it's a massive undertaking going through this amount of clothing and sorting it because you can't just like dump all this on somebody. Like, nobody wants that. And also, I care about some of this stuff. So, I want to make sure it goes to the right person if it's a handme-down or not within my own family or just to someone who's really going to use it. So, anyway, that is this. I don't even know how many pieces of clothing this is, but it's it's like in the multi hundreds for sure. This is so stressful. Like this bag is closed. Like this is all that whole basket's like my clothes that I'm not keeping right there. Um
we're going to go this way down here in Michael's room. Hello, Michael. Oh my gosh. Can't even open the door. There's so much. There's another one in the way. This is the clothes in Michael's room that's too small for him that I am also not keeping for Owen. So, I'm trying to keep less, too, just because I just want to have less because this is so stressful. This is the clothes here, here, and here that I pulled out of the twins room that I said, "Let's keep this for Michael." I'm going to go through all of these again and be a little more selective and try to add more to this pile. So, that's
that. And then Michael and I have been going, "Is this the stuff you're keeping, Michael? What about that?" That's the stuff that won't fit in the door. Oh gosh, that won't fit in the door. So, we're going through. So, he's got this huge dresser and we can't fit it. This is massive. Yeah, we need to try on all his shirts. These are going to go to Owen. This is going to go to Owen. We've not even opened the shorts drawer yet. I know there's two small clothes in here. Um I'm 100% sure there's two small clothes in here. So, I haven't even finished like in Michael's room at all. But eventually, a lot of this is going
to be added to that big old pile out there. Then we have to go to Alyssa's room. Oh, and then like right here, this is like jerseys. I'm I keep a couple jerseys. Like basically, if there's a jersey of theirs that's special, I'll keep it. And at some point in like, you know, 10 or 15 years from now, I'm going to make a quilt. I'm I'm not going to make it. Someone's going to make a quilt or a wall hanging or something. How they put like the jersey numbers cuz I have one from like every team and all the different sports for the boys. So, Oh, and here's Hana. Hana, come here. Come say hello. There's Hana. Yes. And now he's coming back for some more love. Yes.
They're excited for their walk tonight. I know. Can't say that word. That's like their favorite word. W A L K. Okay. So, in Owen's room, we're going to go here next. Put some light on in here. Okay, I just finished taking everything off his bed. It was a nightmare. And then over here, this is like a couple random things I pulled from Michael's room and I was like, "Okay." Oh, here they go. Oh, there goes Zach and Chloe. They've been having fun all afternoon. They've been like riding circles around the house. Anyway, so this came from Michael's room. All this came from Michael's room. My mom gave Owen this
for I guess Christmas and it is like way too big for him. So now we get to hang on to this for like, you know, a couple years. Um, but like we have like all these jackets. It's way too many jackets. Just all of this is full of pretty much jackets. This is hand-me-downs from Michael. I just said to Michael, "Take it from your closet. Put it in Owen's closet." So, I got to go through all this. I got to scale down a little bit. You know, it's it's like I keep saying it's stressful. Oh my gosh. Look at But like it is so stressful. But oh my gosh, look how cute. He just got under Owen's bed. Find a new spot, big boy.
Oh my gosh, it's so cute. Stretching his legs up. Oh, hi big boy. That is so cute. Don't even try and get me out of here. Oh, Maui, you're like so cute. Put your head over here so I can scratch you. Come here. A look at you. Is that a good spot for a big dog under a bed? Yeah. Stop thinking so much. Oh my gosh, that's so cute. He just like crawled under there while we were filming. That's adorable. So yeah, this is Owen's room. This is It's like kind of clean in here. I mean, it's like kind of organized for the most
part. Next, we're going to head Oh my gosh. See that? That stresses me out, though. Just looking at that stresses me out. Next, we're heading to Alyssa's room. Well, I'm in the middle of organizing all my stuff. I'm getting rid of like that pile right there. There's her get rid of pile. It keeps I've just kind of been going through it cuz the drawers were messy anyways. So, yes, just kind of reorganizing it and putting it back in better. Yes, this is all the exercise stuff. I try to help her. I have been trying to help her. Make sure you try stuff on.
Yeah, if you don't know for sure it fits, but you make sure all those shorts. I feel like that's a lot of shorts. Yeah, you should go through them. Also, guys, don't mind me in my pajamas. Are you going to wear these? Yes. Remember, these are the ones that were too long, so I DIY cut them myself. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah. So, yes, I will. Okay, good. Yes, that's definitely Someone's coming in to visit. Oh, he loves to lay on the towel right there. It's like his favorite spot. Let's see if he goes wherever I am and then he next goes to wherever she is.
It's cute cuz he went into my or Owen's room and now he's here. That's cute. You should wear that. Yeah. Yeah, you should wear that. It's not so large. It is. Yeah. Maybe it's too big for you. Let me look at it. It's not a very big large. That's cute though. I'll keep all the stuff. I guess we can consider there's like a See, there's a stain on the neck. I'm like maybe we should keep it. You probably can't see it on the camera, but it's like kind of grease stain right there. But yeah, it's it's a big process doing
all this. And um we're mainly working on cutting back. I'm just like I can't handle having this much stuff in Hawaii. I feel like we're just so everything's downsized so much that it's actually really nice and it's a lot less stressful. You watching the kids? Yes, you are watching them. And um I realize they kind of like it. So, it's tricky though cuz like you can't just get rid of all your stuff if you have stuff you like. Like we can't just get rid of everything but at the same time we need to. So that's kind of where we are right now. Like what can we downsize? What will we not miss? You should keep that. That's a cute one.
You don't like that? That's a really pretty color. I don't know. I'm not going to wear that one. It's kind of like a long. This one is a medium. This could fit me, but I don't really like working out in this style. Shirt because I just don't like I don't like that fabric for working out. Yeah, I don't like it either. This one's really cute. Are you sure? You don't want to keep this? Yeah, I think I'm sure.
You don't like that? I don't know. Just something about it. I should ask my sister if she wants this. There you go. I'm going to take it to their house. He's like a statue. Back to the kitchen. Look, there's more clothes. We have like a little sponsorship we're doing with some of the clothes. Um, this is clothes the kids got for Christmas from my mom, but she bought it so long ago that they grew and they don't fit it. So, we have to deal with that. Um, you look really tall on that now. Yeah, don't go too much. But yeah, I mean, this area of the house doesn't look that bad. The garage is kind of a mess, but there's sh thing in her toy
room. She's happy to have that. It's cute cuz she's playing with the cars and trucks, which is like what Chloe played with also all the boy toys and stuff. But we had to go to Costco. We had to fill up the house. We came back to like our spa heater not working. Our car batteries were dead even though they shouldn't have been dead. There was like random dead things. Like I don't know, just like a lot. Like I Yeah, we've been working in the garage a lot too. This is just the inside of the house. Yes. So, it's it's tricky like being gone so long. We definitely don't regret it because I mean we love our life in Hawaii. I can't hardly think of one single thing that I don't love about it. So, um yeah. But anyway, a lot of you
have asked, "Why are you not uploading?" And I've replied to a couple of you and I just said, "I'm too stressed out. I have hardly even been posting." Oh, there they go. on her social media. A That's so cute. because I'm just like I can't even do it. Like I try to start making a post and I'm just too stressed. I can't do it. I can't post. I can't even think about posting and with any noise around I'm like I can't even focus. I can't even think in my own head about what I might want to be doing just because it's it's like so many things
and so many pieces. And here they come again. Look, it's like literally what they do all day though, too. It's so cute. Zach and Chris are really good big brothers. I mean, all these boys have been good food brothers. Zach and Chris really love taking the little girls around and doing fun stuff with them. But yeah, so that's the reason that's why I haven't been posting because I have like this house that's way bigger than our house in Hawaii and it's a lot to keep up with, a lot to clean and like it's just so much to organize that I can hardly handle it. So that's that. But when we back, we're going to have a lot of great
content. This summer is going to be absolutely epic. I'm so excited and we will have some great content coming your way very soon. So, thank you for hanging out with us and hanging in there with us and we will see you very soon you guys. Bye.
