We're back live on "NXT's Great American Bash" and look, just come to expect the unexpected. We're a little bit taken back at the moment. This was a matchup that was supposed to take place later on tonight, but was officially started during the break. Yeah, absolutely. Unorthodox as per usual from Wendy Choo. Poor discipline from her once again and we'll witness it firsthand before our eyes.
You got to admit though, she is quite clever. No, I will not. She is. I would use the word conniving, manipulative. Ooh! Probably in agony right now. That was genius from Tiffany Stratton. (crowd shouting) Tiffany Stratton, who has continued to step up her game week in and week out. And Stratton is now focused on the hand of Wendy Choo. Yes, so she shall be. That is the hand of Wendy Choo that not only threw makeup in the eyes of Tiffany Stratton, which is a cheap shot, also a few weeks ago, threw soda in the face of Tiffany Stratton.
What kind of low class cheap shot is it to try and blind- Let's not get carried away with your name calling here because it wasn't like Tiffany Stratton has made many friends in the locker room. Doesn't need to make friends. That's not what this industry is about. Let me give you a Triple H quote of all people. "If you ain't making enemies, you ain't making money in this game." And trust me, Tiffany Stratton is going to make a hell of a lot of money in the world of sports entertainment. Choo turning things around, but using that injured hand. And this matchup really started with the same sort of energy that Lynch and Asuka had last night
in their no holds barred match on "Monday Night Raw." This matchup is official, into the cover and a kick out. Well, that match went all over the place and so is this one, such as the level of hatred now between Stratton and Choo. Ooh, bending back the digits is Stratton. Look, Tiffany Stratton can't take anything away from what she's done, even receiving quite the compliment from Natalia on this past week's after the bell. Oh. After the bell, hey? You're putting over your podcast. I get what you're doing. I'll say this. Cory Graves as well. It's a great podcast thanks to Cory Graves and not you, but I'll agree.
Any compliment from the boat Natalia is massive and it shows that Natalia sees the brilliance of Tiffany Stratton just like I do. Well, Wendy Choo right now battling back in this matchup, and really when it comes down, you talk about the highly competitive nature. Who needs to win more? For me, these two, it has to be Tiffany Stratton. Tiffany Stratton is a born winner, though it's not looking good right now. She's been winning since coming out of the womb.
A loss to Wendy Choo would be perhaps the most humiliating moment of Tiffany Stratton's life. You act like Wendy Choo just came off of the street. Wendy Choo is a high caliber athlete taking high risks, lot of reward, and right down on the Stratton. This would be a big night for Wendy Choo. Like she says, let your dreams be your wings. Can she carry herself to a victory tonight? You can't lose to an opponent in a onesie, Vic, and slippers for that matter.
I mean, I'm sure you've lost worse, and what a move by Stratton. Powerful power bombing and near fall. Shows the resilience of a Wendy Choo, behind that onesie, there is a game competitor. But right now in the ascendancy, it's Tiffany Stratton. Get up! (crowd cheering) Now Stratton very angry that did not put away Choo, Choo, who is a fighter, trying to fight her way free at this moment. Choo said she would get under the skin, she would go for the pin, and then she would get the win. Tonight, but Stratton with other plans.
Two competitors been both been through the ringer so far this evening, twisting back and forth is this matchup just like the spine of Tiffany Stratton. Let's not forget this matchup. Oh! It wasn't supposed to happen right now, but into the cover, looking for the victory, and Stratton, again, able to kick out. Give Stratton some credit. That would've put the vast majority of the locker room down, but this might do it. Stratton could be put to sleep. Squeezing is Choo.
Those eyes are fading. (crowd cheering) Stratton certainly is fading at this juncture. Far away from that bottom rope is Stratton. This is locked in tight here. Oh no, the hand, that injured left hand. Wise of Stratton to realize she has done damage to Choo. Yeah, great awareness despite being in peril with that sleeper. Oh! Nasty Landing. Another cover for Choo. Will this be enough? And another near fall.
Yeah, this is the biggest beating we have witnessed Tiffany Stratton take in her entire career here in NXT, but hand it to her. She's still ticking, still alive in this one. Choo looking for that sleeper one more time, but again, Stratton focused on that left hand. And now again, whoa! Whoa. That's the Olympic level athleticism we've talked about before. Save the day for Tiffany Stratton here. Down on the digits one more time, and Stratton now, looking for the finishing touches on this matchup.
One, two, three. (hand thudding) And that is a solid win for Tiffany Stratton. Here is your winner, Tiffany Stratton. You don't have to be a friend, Vic, but believe me, that was a superb performance from both women, but ultimately just enough to get the win Tiffany Stratton, admire that competitor. Tiffany Stratton answered the call here tonight because this matchup wasn't even official at this point. This started in the locker room area when Tiffany Stratton was in makeup. Yeah, it was a cheap shot from Wendy Choo, but it wasn't enough to hot down Tiffany Stratton.
Time and time again, she threw everything but the kitchen sink at Stratton, but it wasn't enough ultimately. Well, when you bring up the kitchen sink, it was actually Tiffany Stratton who in this moment realized there was an opening from Wendy Choo, as whimsical as she may be, would be dropping, and once this action spilled into the ring, the referee made it official. Stratton focused on the hand and then even ripping off the nails of Wendy Choo. What is her obsession? Go to a better manicurist.
What's up with her obsession with what other women do in the locker room? Yeah. Just stay tongue tied for a second. Wendy Choo could make the cover due to the injured hand. And then in the closing moments, it would be Tiffany Stratton putting the focus back at her where their spotlight in her mind should be always and forever picking up a statement victory in her career here in NXT. (bell dings) The question for me is how long is it going to be until that woman right there, Tiffany Stratton, is holding gold here in NXT? (upbeat music)
