he'll get killed are you head shopping yeah I want to buy the head what's the price for a head how much sir so welcome to tamale one of the biggest cities in Ghana and the capital of the norn region it's completely different landscape people and majority Muslim here see how life Compares compared to down in arra where we've been the capital city and the coast there to up here in the north you can definitely see a big difference we flew here about an hour flight Let's uh go meet the people we basically pulled over just then we hopped out and the driver went to grab some food and then we come back to the car and it's been clamped then a huge fight started but that's amazing efficiency we pulled over for like 2

minutes and the car had been clamped in that short amount of time okay so we're here with the butcher Abrahim right okay nice to meet here this one be c yeah this e no good the price keeps going up the price thank you sir so there's many different languages in Ghana uh and you know the national language is English so when you come here you're coming with somebody from the south like in Acra and you come up here they'll communicate in English quite a lot of people here speak English up here in the north as well like they do in the South this time is very difficult okay the economy is very difficult right yes what's the problem H the problem is look food stuff is problem who before to go to farm it's a problem you

understand yeah uhhuh how to farm it's a problem fertilizer is not there too expensive yes something I've noticed here is how many people ride bicycles and there's these big mechanic shops with these old parts that they're painting up and recycling making nice new bikes out of them beautiful fresh green paint job here we are used to corn yes corn uhhuh uhuh and rice uh-huh now this time it's too high so you can't afford to buy it if you want to buy you buy few so you have to eat less now yes really yes and what needs to happen to change that our leaders to do something about it so you want the government to come and help with supplies and the equipment and things to make life easier yes we don't know whether this year we survive or

we will survive okay yes I'm telling you is that bad yes it's very bad thank you for your time welcome I appreciate that yeah thank you I got all the nuts and bolts here for the bikes and the whole Workshop up here these are all bow bearings so they sell all different kinds of bow bearings have you traveled to arra before every week I used to go to Kumasi I get I buy Pi come to my workshop what's the difference between 5 years ago and now in the economy it's a change it's a change prop proper change and this is all because of petrol is that right the pet both the petrol and the diesel if only the F come down we hope that if the fall Beck down so you want to bring theice Everything Will Change again all right thank you very much for your thank

you sir apprciate it so those guys that we were just talking to uh the mechanics they were saying that most people are just uh a lot of people at least are sitting around because there's just no opportunities and jobs here and so they they used to be mechanics but now they're just sitting and just passing the time and I asked them has that led to an increase in crime and they told me if anybody robs or as anybody's a thief he'll get killed so there's this kind of like communal policing going on here the government is not good because the way the government handle us we are suffering the way the patrol is going our customers they last they don't want to come to market today how many customers

have you had we are loading according to five how many trips so 25 I get maybe four trips or four trips so like 20 people that okay is that enough to buy food in the morning I buy uh rice and bees rice and be fo okay a day I can take one or two one or two meals a day so you're working like 13 hours a day just to get one or two meals yeah wow it's hard ehh it's hard it's very hard you know people actually leave here and they head down to Acra to find better opportunities and you've seen in Acra when we were there in Abu blosi which is one of the main markets where they break down old computers Electronics phones either strip the Copper from them or they sell the metals and you saw how hard life was down there and the things

that people are exposing themselves to burning rubber to access metals and just you know shortening their life by being exposed to all these toxins so if they're willing to put themselves through that and this is where they're coming from then that kind of shows the situation and how bad it is good morning from tamale stayed in this pink Hotel behind me here last night quite nice on the outskirts but we're about to drive back into the city hopefully it gives you a good grasp of the city here of tamale the northern capital of Ghana let's go into the city so here I am in the public toilet just on the side of the road look at it quite handy you'll just see these little Shacks on top of the curves here and the

bonds could make it easier to save up but if you followed the stock market in the last few years you've seen how quickly things can change the professionals agree it may be time to change the way we think about investing it may be time to consider adding real assets to your portfolio that can retain value or even gain value in times of Crisis according to Forbes there's one asset in particular to look out for in 2023 Fine Art the last time inflation was this High between 1973 and 1981 only three assets outpa the inflation rate one of those three Contemporary Art appreciated an average of 13.5% according to the MW all art index with Masterworks you can invest in fine art by Legends like Picasso and Monae without spending millions of dollars on

an entire painting their last sales fetched 13.9% 17.8% and 21.5% just look at their track record over 550,000 people have signed up so far and with inflation still high the list is growing but my subscribers can get Priority Access using the link in the description so if you want to Shield your money from inflation I highly recommend checking that out and a huge thank you to Masterworks for sponsoring this video Okay so we've come into this house here and we've met Aisha Hello nice to meet you so the husband is a driver and he travels a lot but unfortunately he has kicked the buets he died now the daughter have to come back to the mother selling like different kinds of clothes small pants in right the baby babies's

interact with the people here so they're selling cooking oil here you got to be careful cuz sometime some places I've Just Seen also sell Petrol in the same bottle so got to make sure that you don't put Petrol in your pan when you're cooking so it says best dads get promoted to Grandpa oh okay snob yeah come looks good how do I pronounce your name again Z Ze yes well nice to meet you this is your boy yes he's beautiful thank you and so you're making all kinds of clothes here MH yeah is this a good business um no not good yeah why the materials is hard so expensive yes things are getting harder yeah every day yes as a mother what is life like here in the north ah oh H too hot yeah

fun you know right experiencing other cultures why do you want to see other cultures because life is not really stagnant you know it's not at stationary position keep the momentum going that's that's that's it right and what if you could go to one country what would it be can you give me like top five us UK Venezuela North Korea I'm really curious about that country I want to see how life is over there pleasure meeting you thank you very much for your time this is yours yeah that's my meat so he's chopped the head into pieces

hardship but in comparison to my last trips it was a lot more light-hearted even if I did almost get stabbed on day one so thank you to everybody in Ghana for making this trip so memorable I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you watching this year has been without a doubt the most crazy of my life Ukraine Haiti and South Sudan on their own we're all crazy trips but back to back truly something else this year on the channel thanks to you guys watching and opening your hearts we're able to build an orphanage in Nigeria in mako's Slam the largest Slam in Nigeria area we also raised enough money to keep that orphanage running for years to come in Ukraine we were able to raise money

to go towards the Frontline workers and emergency relief in Haiti in the most dangerous neighborhood in the world we are able to raise enough money to keep a local soup kitchen for children running for the foreseeable future and of course in South Sudan we've raised over $400,000 us to go towards life-saving emergency food packets for malnourished children so a huge thank you to everybody and your input into the channel this year I'm not going to lie it's been a lot at times there's been struggles but overall it's just a true honor to be in the position that I'm in today I couldn't be here without you that's genuine so I'll see you next year for more Adventures going to take a bit of time for myself for my mental state
